So this book includes two parts. The first is the collaborative outline of the story by King & Chizmar; thereafter, Chizmar transforms the outline into a short film screenplay and that is included as well. You really don’t need to read both and I thought the outline was the better of the two efforts. Haven’t seen the movie but this worked perfectly well as a short story.

Two short stories in one book. One by Stephen King and one by Richard Chizmar. Both stories have the same basic plot but they come up with two different stories.
