binding 13 except its not bc it tries too fucking hard, is poorly written, and just utterly cringey and cliche (and not even the good kind of cliche)...😔
oh and why tf is the fmcs fav books the shatter me series????? like u are NAWT real gtfooooooo omg pissed me off so bad 😒
this book feels sooo booktokified like idk how to explain it 😭 like the author shaped her characters around shit thats trending on booktok and its not even done well like ???? it just feels so forcedddddd idk idk ...heres my proof: fmc: loves gilmore girls, vampire diaries, twilight, obsessed with coffee, fav books is the shatter me series ( like tell me this isnt literally half of "booktok" rn 😐) mmc: knows the "sidewalk rule", makes sure she eats, calls her darling and love, puts down his video games when shes talking, wheres rings ( miss author wants him to be a book bf so bad and its just NAWT WORKING)
AND DONT EVEN GET ME STARTED ON THE DUMBASS HORRIBLE CRINGE ASSS PICKUPLINESSSSSSSS THROUGHOUT THE BOOK 🙂
and the time jumps???? the random information and events getting thrown in between convos bc the author was too lazy to write the scenes out??? whats thats all ab???
oh and they were british the whole time??????? the random "oi" was supposed to convey this methinks??? laughable truly 😭
tiktok try not to disappoint me by recommending shitty books challenge level: impossible
......as i said before...what in the wattpad i mean it was cute and all and a good palette cleaner but...the grammar and way it was written was in deep need of editing
This felt very much like insta-love but I still enjoyed it. At first it was reminding me of Binding & Keeping 13 but it wasn’t exactly like that. Just has similar aspects. Overall, enjoyable and a quick read.
I started it off with high hopes cause I was in a book slump and I was a bit disappointed, the romance was very fast paced and I feel lacked chemistry. I felt like the way it was written just was not for me so I dnf
⭐️⭐️.5 / 5 I found this book after watching a cute quote from an instagram reel, however this book was extremely faced paced, some scenes often being rushed.
However if you did like binding 13, I would recommend this book to you. The book follows similar themes, the rugby playing guy who is head over heels obsessed over the new girl- the new girl who is struggling in an abusive household.
This book was adorable; however, the entire time I felt like I was reading a Boys of Tommen fan fiction. Both are about a girl in an abusive household falling in love with the star rugby player. I liked it, but I just felt like I knew exactly where it was going because I’d read Binding 13.
cute book plots and tropes very similar to what i have previously read (found family and more). Appreciated the book however it almost felt like it was written by someone my age, and was very rushed almost. Love lily and milo though!!!
this was entertaining i stayed up late reading it but it was sooooo binding 13 but like not very well written,i got confused with the time a lot and like a lot of things didn’t make sense.it was ok.just cliche.
Bruh no hate but omg the writing???? I hope she wrote that book when she was ten, cause if not then daymmn! Literally stopped at 25%! Couldn’t do it anymore! I had the feeling i was reading something from my lil cousin! Terrible writing!
Binding 13 from temu, but arguably the most enjoyable book I have read in a while, due to its sheer chaos and inconsistencies. I fear the way this book made me die from laughter cannot be replicated.
