I loved this one, I am a big fan of Leanne Lovegrove and this story took me on a gorgeous trip to Spain with firstly wonderful characters, a beautiful romance, a little mystery to uncover and yes the setting is beautiful I felt like I was there with Australian Silvia and Spanish jeweller Arlo, come along and meet them you will be turning the pages.

Silvia Cook is travelling to the coast of Spain to the small town of Tossa De Mar to put her dear grandmother to rest in her home town, she never expected for it to go the way it did, meeting millionaire Arlo Blanco and uncover secrets long held from sixty years ago.

Arlo is now CEO of the family business Blanco Fine Jewells and he needs new ideas to turn the company around and he is fast running out of ideas, at his father’s birthday party he runs in to an Australian woman and notices the bracelet she is wearing and it so beautiful and for some reasons brings some memories from long time ago to the surface, how can that be? He needs to get to know her and not just for that reason.

It is not long before they are spending more time together and Silvia is working in the company store in Tossa De Mar, and her joy at designing jewellery something that she learnt from her grandmother has them working on some beautiful designs together but with this the sparks grows and they also uncover the missing jewellery and that somehow Silvia’s grandmother Paloma may be linked, how will they uncover the truth?

This is one that I highly recommend, it is a beautifully told story filled with emotions, mystery, a sensual romance that had me smiling, cheering them on and turning the pages, I loved my trip to Spain, the food the culture and the fabulous characters all add to this story, this is one not to be missed.

My thanks to the author for my digital copy to read and review.

Silvia Cook is from country Queensland and she travels to Tossa de Mar on Spain’s stunning coast to meet her late grandmother Paloma’s family and carryout her last request.

Arlo Blanco has recently been appointed CEO of Blanco Fine Jewels, he’s the third generation of proud family to run the business, the companies sales figures have dropped, and they need some new and modern designs and Arlo’s struggling for inspiration.

Arlo meets Silvia, she’s a natural beauty and she’s wearing a usual piece of jewellery she inherited from her grandmother and he discovers it's part of a set. Sylvia put her studies on hold, to spend time taking care of her grandmother and they drew diagrams of jewellery together before she passed away and Silvia still draws and it makes her feel close to her Nana.

Sylvia has been warned by her relatives to stay away from the Blanco family and something happened years ago and they don't trust them. Sylvia starts working at Blanco Fine Jewels as a sales assistant, and together they come up with an idea of creating a new line.

Arlo and Silvia are attracted to each other, it's getting harder to ignore the current that’s pulling them towards each other and the sizzling chemistry. When Arlo learns a set of jewellery went missing over sixty years ago, and he doesn’t know how to tell Silvia and it causes her to be confused and uncertain and feel she's not good enough for the millionaire.

I really enjoyed reading The Spanish Jeweller by Leanne Lovegrove, I felt like I was walking the streets of Tossa de Mar and driving in a luxury sports car to Barcelona with Arlo and Silvia, gazing at the Mediterranean ocean and going sailing and exploring the ancient churches and eating the delicious seafood.

The narrative focuses on Spain and the district of Catalonia, making and selling exquisite jewellery, family and secrets, history and culture and overcoming obstacles and the past and five stars from me and I’m keen to read the next book in the series and I highly recommend.

The Spanish Jeweller: European Tycoons sees a surprising change of direction for talented author Leanne Lovegrove from her usual Aussie settings. This is the first book of four in the European Tycoon series and who doesn’t love the millionaire trope.

Family secrets from the past, jewellery design and a handsome millionaire makes for an exciting three month trip to Spain for Silvia a young Australian woman who is visiting the place her grandmother was born to spread the remainder of her ashes.

I loved being swept away to the beautiful coastal town of Tossa de Mar in Spain where Silvia meets handsome jewellery tycoon Arlo and they realise they have more than a few things in common.

How does a beautiful jewellery collection hold a connection to the past?

What a gem of a read, absolutely loved it! I can’t wait for the rest of the series. 💘💕

The Spanish Jeweller

After the death of her grandmother, Silvia leaves her home in Australia for her loved grandmother's homeland, Spain. The joy of meeting with her extended family in a small Spanish town is overshadowed when she realises the jewels bequeathed to her by her grandmother may have been stolen. In the small town, Silvia meets Arlo, the wealthy CEO of Blanco Fine Jewels. The business is in desperate need of inspiration and when Arlo discovers a collection of jewellery in Silvia's possession, he iis convinced they are Blanco design. With Silvia working in his store, together they work on new jewellery design while becoming aware of their attraction to each other.
I loved this story and very much look forward to the next in the series.

Binge read on a sunny Australian spring day, when all I could imagine was fun times in Spain with a dark and handsome jewellery heir.

Give me my moment please ….. (sigh)

Such is the first book of the European Tycoon’s series, The Spanish Jeweller by Leanne Lovegrove. In what is a shift from rural fiction for Leanne, this book gives off those fabulous Jackie Collins cover vibes and Danielle Steel-like (but more fade to black) content.

Silvia is a Spanish-Australian travelling for three months to her grandmothers homeland to scatter her ashes. Silvia isn’t looking for love but finds herself enamoured with Arlo, heir to the Blanco Fine Jewels business. Unknowingly their life stories are connected and it is this discovery that they find themselves dealing with. Secrets old and new might just cause this burgeoning relationship to fail before it really gets started.

Loved the ritz and glitz of Arlo, balanced with the real and pragmatic nature of Silvia. Can’t wait for book 2 of this series.

Thanks to Leanne for sending me this copy to read.

From page one I was hooked, Silvia arrives in Tossa de Mar to lay her grandmother to rest. She takes a night’s work helping her cousin Cruz waitressing at a gala event for the rich, when she meets Arlo Blanco the CEO of Blanco Fine Jewels.
Arlo notices the black spinel bracelet that Silvia is wearing and is mesmerised by the exquisite beauty of both Silvia and the jewels she wears.
Two worlds collide in this amazing novel, I am looking forward to reading the rest of the series.
Thank you to Leanne for the wonderful ARC copy, this was a pleasure to read.

The Spanish Jeweller by Leanne Lovegrove

Find a comfy place because you won't want to put this one down! 'The Spanish Jeweller' will sweep you away to the scenic town of Tossa de Mar, filled with spice and intrigue.

Silvia Cook takes a trip to Spain after the loss of her Grandmother. She hopes to spread some of her Grandmother's ashes in her hometown and learn more about where her family are from. She meets her family, some eccentric others not so much, but all are loving and welcoming. They make her feel a part of life in Tossa de Mar. Soon, Silvia finds herself working in a prestigious jewelery store that her Grandmother worked in before she left everything to move to Australia. The characters learn to look into their past, which shapes their decisions in the present day.

When Silvia meets Arlo, he appears to be rich, confident and surrounded by jewelry clad women. Arlo and Silvia's passion for jewelry design and one another grow the more they spend time together. Their designs are heartstopping, just as their connection. Arlo is the kind of character a woman wants to read about and hopes for the protagonist to meet. If you're single, Arlo will inspire you to buy a plane ticket to Spain... NOW!

Leanne's Australian romance novels are filled with heart and are a pure joy to read. 'The Spanish Jeweller' is a story that will have readers wishing they were in Spain with the characters. This is one of my favourite novels written by Leanne. Like a flamenco dance, it evokes love, passion, sadness, and joy. It is a literary gem.

🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟

I can't wait for the next novel in the European Tycoons Series. Sweep me away to Europe any day.

Congratulations, Leanne. @leannelovegroveauthor

This is a very different book for me to review but since Leanne Lovegrove’s name is on it, I knew I had to read her latest offering. And did I enjoy it? Yes ! Leanne’s excellent writing skills are still here in this new genre for her. The vivid descriptions of picturesque Spain, intriguing plot and engaging characters all wonderfully present— kept me interested from the first page to the last. I was keen to see where these characters’ lives would go. And it was also fun to learn about a jewellery design business and the creative input it takes to make it all happen. Besides the expected romance elements, this novel contains a mystery. With missing jewels and a number of family secrets to explore—there is never a dull moment.

This is the first book of the European Tycoon series that allows the reader to go on a journey to exotic places and get a sneak peek of the millionaire world and how it thrives or dives. It is escapism in the truest sense, but it is exciting for readers who love being whisked away to experience a luxurious lifestyle through the creative expression of story-telling— where belief can be suspended and the imagination runs wild! To be able to explore top romantic settings and rub shoulders with the cream of crop of the rich and famous, through a novel, certainly has its thrills and fascination.

Australian born Silvia Cook is an independent and determined woman with family connections in Spain. She has an eye and artistic talent for jewellery design which she may have inherited from her beloved grandmother. They had a strong and loving relationship and now Silvia must make a journey to Tossa de Mar on Spain’s stunning coastline to scatter her grandmother's ashes. This also gives Silvia a chance to explore her family’s roots and learn more about this woman she dearly loved. But some of what she discovers, surprises her, as it may have caused her grandmother to leave her homeland for Australia to start a new life. These revelations begin to affect Silvia's own life and she starts to question the direction she originally planned to go. Maybe it is not the best option for her? Thankfully, her Spanish encounters awaken and coax her into new directions. Giving her courage to follow once-repressed aspirations.

Arlo Blanco, CEO of Blanco Fine Jewels, is an interesting character. The man is first seen as a womaniser, surrounded in wealth and all that it affords. Silvia catches his eye, if not her jewellery initially. But then he is intrigued by her personality and talent. His character arc is a welcomed one. He is full of surprises and not the person we might expect. He constantly tries to prove he is not like his father and grandfather who were less than faithful to their women/wives. There is no doubt that meeting Silvia changes him or at least brings out the best in him. And she is affected by him as well. Not only does their building attraction draw them closer together but also their love of crafting fine jewellery. The direction they head has its bumps and plot twists but working together reveals their deepest connections and dreams.

This is a fun and festive first outing of the series and I am interested in seeing more of what is to come. It is true we need stories to offer wonderful escape breaks. We all need a little detour from the hassles of life to indulge in some armchair travelling! And Ms. Lovegrove has succeeded in these areas with this current release. In fact, she always does in whatever genre she chooses to write. The Spanish Jeweller is full of charm, passion and joy. A delightful ride into a brave new world! 5 Stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I was very pleased to say that I was transported to "Tossa De Mar" in Spain, walking the streets taking in the sights, trying all the different types of coffees, gorging on all the wonderful quinine.

Silvia Cooke is travelling to Spain after losing her beloved grandmother to scatter her ashes across the sea. Her grandmother taught her the love of jewellery and design.

Silvia has always wanted to be a doctor like her grandfather, but does the lure of jewellery made by the Blanco family or the insanely good-looking son Arlo change her mind.

Silvia must not repeat the same mistakes of the past women in her family. There are secrets that need to be addressed.

I really loved this first book in the "European Tycoons" books.

It's different from your normal novels but amazingly good.

I thoroughly enjoyed this book set in Tossa De Mar, on the coast of Spain. It’s well-written, the story is enchanting and the characters are wonderful. It’s the sizzling chemistry between Silvia Cook and Arlo Blanco that propels the story along and I found myself not wanting to put the book down.

I highly recommend it, particularly if you love romance and exotic locations.

Stars: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Genre: fiction - romance

Does the blurb reflect the plot: yes, it’s a great summary of what’s in store for the reader.

Sum it up: forget a book read in less than three days, I read The Spanish Jeweller in one sitting! I’m not a huge fan of the romance genre, but there’s just something about the way that Lovegrove writes that captures my attention and compels me to read her books. As always, the characters are well developed, interesting and relatable. They complement the plot, which is not only engaging, but written descriptively enough that I can picture it like a movie as I read; without being so verbose so that I lose interest. So many writers cannot do this, but Lovegrove nails this fine line with ease. Add in the back drop of a stunning Spanish seaside town, the inclusion of food that will have your tummy rumbling and jewels that will make you swoon; and you have a fantastic, must read romance book that has the added surprise of substance and depth rather than being just a mindless piece of fluff. It’s the first in Lovegrove’s new European Tycoons series, and I cannot wait to read the next one.

Who should read it: it’s a must read for lovers of romance books, but those that aren’t a huge fan of this genre will enjoy it too as it has depth and substance.

The Spanish Jeweller is my fifth read in #ktbookbingo. Category ‘’. To play along with my book bingo and to see what else I’m reading, go to #ktbookbingo or @peggyanne_readsandruns on Instagram.

This was an enjoyable read, not too long and set in the beautiful location of Spain. The central character, Silvia, is a wonderful mix of Spanish & Australian, who returns to Spain after her grandmother’s death to meet her relatives and finds herself drawn into a global jewellery business. Her romance with Arllo, is threatened by family secrets and history potentially repeating itself. Although the ending is satisfying in one sense, there were still unanswered questions about the past, but overall, an enjoyable story.
