Felicity Craven, egocentric, power-hungry widow, discovers that her late husband's fortune has been left to his crass, vulgar Texan mistress. Her brother is exposed in a rent-boy scandal, and the dead tycoon's secretary is carrying his child. Who will Fortune finally favour?
Not a bad book, reading it and trying to figure out the timeline was a bit confusing because parts read as modern day and others seemed like it was in the 70s/80s. The story itself was quite a rollercoaster as there were many tangled webs that weaved together. A good read for when you want to escape and forget that you aren't an entitled heir/ess.
