Wow. This one kept on taking turns I didn't expect but what had me completely invested was the hot equation between Quinn and Liam with a big question mark of Will they or Won't they?!
Liam is definitely a powerful man and when he gives you all his attention is enough to make one lose their might.
Liam though is obsessed with Quinn and oh my.... The way he goes about it while always maintaining that strong and cool persona had me melting for that man.
The hot chemistry and 𝗌𝖾𝗑𝗒 times between these two were definitely fire.
Ahhh... Also as Liam is obsessed with Quinn who's equally crazy for him, both definitely had me melting with their hot times togther.🔥
I loved Vlad for even though he's more bossy than the boss herself yet he cares about Quinn like she's his own daughter.
Then there's Freya who's the bestie a girl needs and not only that, her fiance, Gunner goes out of his way for Quinn because he knows how she's important to Freya.
I so didn't see the twists that came towards the end. I'm so excited to start the next book especially knowing what happened at the end has me hyper excited to start book 2 with the Russian princess. Loved this one.

I'm melted right now after reading this unpredictable Swoony ride that I was so nervous about as to how would these two strangers ever come close to each other.
When I had read Liam and Quinn's book, which was another fantastic read, I was so curious about this secret Russian princess and we finally got to meet her.
Gabriel was never meant to be the Head and Boss of the most powerful family in Chicago but by a twist of fate, the position lands in his lap even when he would rather not have to take the responsibility of it.
Add to it that Gabriel has to marry the Russian princess to strengthen their ties and that's the last thing he wants to do as he loves his freedom.
Vanna has never been allowed to make any decisions in her life. Her role is to be useful so that her brute of a father remains and becomes more powerful.
This one pleasantly surprised me and I was so invested and couldn't put down this book after meeting the contrasting personalities of Gabriel and Vanna.
Vanna was really sweet and she completely won me over. I felt for her because of how the poor thing was dealt a monster of a father yet she was good natured and really loved and cared deeply.
Gabriel on the other hand had me shocked and angry for his initial stupid behaviour but also how he went about things.
But the Gabriel that we meet later on.... Oh my... He's simply🔥🔥 with how he is with Vanna.
I really found this ride addictive because of the emotional dynamics and the sweet tug and push of irresistible attraction that these two felt especially Gabriel yet were not ready to acknowledge it, had me so on edge as to how they would ever come close.
On the other hand we still have action going on as Gabriel and his brothers are still searching for answers as to who was responsible for what happened.
Also, there are new suspicious activities going on that they need to find out who's behind it all.
I freaking loved Gabriel's family. His mom and sister and brothers were absolute rockstars and I loved how they were with Vanna.
Althea, Gabriel's mom was just fantastic.
Ahh... I'm more and more falling in love with this series and that ending. What was that about Jude and what happened. Yep, so excited and can't wait for his book next. Loved freaking loved this one.♥️♥️♥️♥️

I have fallen head over heels in love with this series and this book was no different as it had it all, from secrets to suspense to tug-at-your-heartstrings kinda romance.💋
At the ending of book 2, we see Jude, the third brother, is about to take on himself the challenge of finding the person who was hired to take out his father.
I, seriously was so excited to know who would it be, especially when the trail leads him to a place where two innocents are living and barely scraping by.
It was exciting to watch Jude leaving his luxurious life to come stay at an apartment just to keep watch on his neighbours.
Also, the fact that, no matter his attempts, Jude was no close to finding the culprit.
Everything becomes all the more interesting when Jude seems to have forgotten his purpose and starts having feelings for his neighbour, Ariel.
Oh my, Ariel, that girl! Poor thing, I really felt for her as she struggled to provide a better life for her brother and in spite of them not having enough and their mother being a thorn in her side, Ariel is a sweet girl who's a hard working and loving person.
I REALLY FELT THE WAY THESE TWO WERE DANCING AROUND EACH OTHER. THE FIRE, THE YEARNING, THE SWEETNESS, THE CARING... FREAKING ALL OF IT, MELTED ME TIME & AGAIN.💋💋
Jude and Ariel are two amazing people and the way Jude cared for her, Ahhh... Absolutely had my heart.
Also, Lenny, Ariel's brother was adorable. A bit playful but I loved the bond between Ariel and Lenny so much.
It was good to see the Olyesses family again especially the elder brothers and their sweet wives.
I so can't wait for more from Ms.Kincaid as her story telling and writing weave a web of perfectly balanced flavours of Action, Suspense along with sweet romance and hot Chemistry that keeps me coming back for more and more.
So freaking excited for the New Series on Gladius next. Yay!!! Loved loved this one.❣️❣️❣️❣️

Excellent books all of them. Great individual story lines which the author kept up a great flow. The perfect humour sprinkled through out the books was delightful and had me laughing out loud many times. This is definitely my favourite series of all time.

you won’t be disappointed
This is such a great read, once you start you cannot stop.
Only down side is it stops so suddenly where more could’ve been written
