“I don't always compare authors works… But at a certain point I kept thinking… Stephen king…”

"Stephen Cross had me hooked from the very beginning. Excellent story, really compelling characters and so well written."

The Part 2 of The Silencing Triology

When the power stops, the real darkness begins.

A worldwide blackout sends society tumbling into chaos. Streets become battlegrounds for gangs, police lose control and hospitals become nothing but empty dark buildings filled with the dead.

Rose scrambles through the city streets, desperate to reach the docks where her father’s ferry is expected. But the docks stand empty. As hope fades, she is drawn into a secret underground network that believe the power outage is not what it seems.

Adam, having survied a week adrift at sea onboard a powerless ship, finds refuge in a small farm. He begins to carve out a simple electricity-free life for himself and his son, but before hope can take hold, the drones come…

In the city, black robotic enforcers impose a new regime, watching every move and silencing dissent. But in the shadows of abandonded factories and derelict docks, where no cameras watch and no drones go, a spark of resistance ignites.

The Purging is the electrifying second part of The Silencing trilogy. As fear tightens its grip across the land, Adam realises that the fight for freedom - and his son’s future - has only just begun.
