I’ve spent my entire life on the run with my father. As far as I knew, it was his mental disorders that we were running fun. Hell, even a few hitched onto me for the journey. But after his death, and my rebirth of a sort, I faced a brand new world with no agenda, other than to maintain my sanity.
Sanity, however, is a slippery bastard, and it seems the one thing that’ll cripple mine, is an evocative touch from strong hands. When you’ve gone without a single glance from a guy, or even a blink from a perverted old man, typical thoughts cross your mind: I’m not that attractive, I forever have something in my teeth, there’s an invisible force field around me. Okay, not typical thoughts I guess. But, I believed that there had to be a reason for the rejection.
So when not one, but two hot guys enter my life, both of them zealous for my attention…Seth, mysterious and seductive, and Kort, mesmerizing and haunted, well…what’s a girl like me to believe other than the worlds coming to an end. Which, I find out in this case, just might happen, as neither of them is who they claim to be. They’re not even human!
