I couldn’t put it down; the perfectly woven plot keeps you glued from start to finish. And the ending… wow. I loved it. It’s one of the few books I’ve read that has thrilled me as much as Jo Nesbo’s novels.

Ďalšia kniha, ďalší love-hate vzťah.
V prvom rade chcem vyzdvihnúť zápletku. Bola naozaj podarená. Plus ten koniec. Cheff´s kiss. Jednoducho: ukončenie knihy značne zlepšilo moje celkové hodnotenie. Štýl písania bol taktiež príjemný. Číta sa to rýchlo, bez omáčok a zádrheľov. Sem-tam nám autor naservíruje aj niečo zo života hlavnej hrdinky a v kombinácii so skalpovaním obetí je to vcelku príjemná zmena. :D :D
Kde je ale problém tejto knihy? Zhruba vo všetkom ostatnom. Hlavná postava ma štvala. Zbrklé rozhodnutia na základe jej „intuície“, ktorá neviem, kedy sa stihla vyvinúť, keďže bola na oddelení nováčik. Vyhýbanie sa protokolom a jej obľúbená veta „it´s a matter of life and death!“... Zázračne jej každá stopa vyšla na prvýkrát. Každý smer, ktorým sa vydala súvisel s prípadom. Každá jej domnienka podložená zanedbateľným detailom bola správna. Len jej šialení nadriadení to nevideli... :D
Mám veľa otázok, veľa vecí mi vadilo, zároveň sa to čítalo super a malo to prekvapivý koniec. Zhrniem to ako priemer. :)

Gripping Detective novel
As an avid Prime reader,I've noticed that most books,billed as psychological thriller follow a pattern . Children disappearing, women abused,people held in boxes. Seems like only the names are changed. It was a real treat to come upon Skin. It gripped me from the first detailed gruesome description of the initial murder. Adding to page turner was how Nuria slowly but surely figured it all out the twist at the very end were perfect. This book did not follow any of the formulas that made prime books rather boring. I will continue to search for others

Great read!
I absolutely devoured this book. The twist or two at the end is mind blowing. I had no idea how it would all work out. The writing is excellent and the storyline is easy to follow along.
The story follows a fairly new police office on the force trying to find a serial killer. If you enjoy books about serial killers, young cops, and the anguish they go thru you will love this book. This is a book not to be missed. Will definitely be reading more by this Author!

A well scripted and well written story with a different plot and an ending that is unexpected. Fernando Gamboa has a different style of writing which I very much enjoyed and which sets him apart from other authors. Well worth reading.

I really enjoyed this book. Unfortunately life kept getting in the way and it took me a week to finish it. If I had the time I would have read it all in one sitting. Really well written, and great storyline. It’s my first book from Fernando Gamboa and I’m sure it won’t be my last :)

What a page turner!
