Robyn Dubois has a secret she’s desperate to hide. For years, she’s worked in the shadows to bring to vigilante justice those who’ve escaped it while concealing a crime of her own. Now, the most dangerous offender she’s ever hunted is finally within reach, but the only way to catch him is with the help of another criminal—one Robyn swore she’d never see again: her husband.

Damon Remington has eluded the authorities for years. A former FBI agent turned high-profile criminal, Damon knows how to play both sides of the game without getting caught in the middle. Until his estranged wife resurfaces and puts herself in danger.

Even though she hates him, Damon will keep his vow to protect the woman he once loved. So he offers Robyn a deal: his help catching the criminal she’s after, but he’ll only work with her.

Robyn doesn’t want his help. In fact, she wants him arrested. And she definitely doesn’t want to be in close quarters with the man who’s only grown more handsome and charming since they’ve been apart. But she doesn’t have a choice. She can’t bear to sacrifice her cause, even if it means putting her heart on the line.

Rebecca Sharp always loved a good love story. Let's face it, when you include a romance novel on your 8th grade summer reading list just to see if the teacher would notice (she didn't!), she was bound to give writing one of her own a go. There's really no corner of romance that she doesn't (or wouldn't) enjoy writing, except maybe aliens, much to her husband's dismay, so her large catalog features a little something for everyone. However, her love of shows like NCIS and Criminal Minds makes her favorite stories to write the ones with some kind of suspense and crime solving.

When she's not writing, she's at her office treating patients, and somewhere between those two things, you'll find her wandering the globe with her husband always searching for their next adventure.

I am speechless….this story from start to finish had me holding my breathe and on edge in a way I have never experienced. Robyn and Damon…yes DAMON!! I knew the man couldn’t have been who he wanted us to believe, but this blew all my expectations away!

Damon has always been an enigma. Was he a villain, was he not…who was, is this man…well The Vow gave us our answer and boy oh boy Damon is much more complex then I ever realized. I have to say Robyn is one kick butt heroine. This woman was going to make Damon pay for the pain he caused her and she did but also the love they held for each other made things so complicated.

I couldn’t get enough of their banter, the angst and those sweet steamy moments…..GLORIOUS!! Such an amazing read and omg the best story for our Robyn!!

I finally get an answer to the mystery of Damon Remington! I've loved every single book in this series and the Damon and Robyn cliffhanger at the end of the last book had me so anxious to find out more. This was definitely a slow burn but so worth the wait. I love how this author weaves a story following multiple characters throughout the series. I can't wait to find out what she writes next.

I thought that this was an enjoyable read and very good ending for the series. The story was engaging and held my interest well. Slow burning, emotional, dramatic, thrilling and twisty, Damon and Robyn take you on a real roller coaster ride.

I wasn't going to do many reviews anymore. I'm just not that great at it but I've been looking forward to reading this book for a long time so I went ahead and requested a copy. I was discouraged when I read it was a slow burn but found when I started reading it that it was fine not a slow read at all. I don't know why it's not okay to have a book go a while before they were having sex. That's where the disappointment came in. I feel like the last part of the book was rushed and then it was all sex Also the piercing and other tattoo markings on the body is getting kind of out there and I'm not sure why it's necessary to be in the book.

Final book of the series – a convoluted story

This picks up right where the last book left off when we learn that Robyn Dubois and Damon Remington are married and they take off from the garage.

OK…this is quite the convoluted story. How they met, ended up married and were separated for 15 years. How Damon is doing everything for Robyn. (In his way of looking at things I suppose.) He was FBI and was burned. Continued his criminal life as he helps and looks out for her, without her knowing it. She’s pissed off because he left her years ago. The why comes out later.

I had to suspend my disbelief a little harder than I should with this story but I went along with it. It is a slow burn, as stated in the beginning of the book. I am totally fine with that. In fact, I would prefer a couple getting together with meaning vs let’s jump each other as soon as we lay eyes on each other. But the timing of when they got together…not the wisest.

The two of them do end up together about 60% in. Damon is still working on his plan to take down Belmont along with the older and younger Shazad. Who decides to show up but Robyn. (palm to forehead) Like her being there would be any help. She just gives them something to hold over Damon. Damon does his back-up plan which also gets him arrested.

***spoilers in this paragraph by referring to epilogue***
Now…if someone is doing illegal stuff and is arrested by the FBI, all of their accounts are seized and properties etc are taken because ill gotten gains paid for them. So, in the epilogue where he’s helping capture bad guys, why are they still living the millionaire life in his home? Nope, didn’t do it for me.

This book was entertaining and I’m glad it’s the last of this series. This series was a bit too gimmicky as a whole. I much prefer Dr Rebecca Sharp’s The Kinkades series. The Reynolds Protective Group and Covington Security series as well as the attached Carmel Cove series were also good.

As always this author writes a good book.

Robyn aka Robber and Damon were a good match. I loved that Damon fights for her every step of the way. And thank goodness he got her ring back.

Robyn’s parents got I’ll working for this company. The owner of the company wanted to profit of his creation, even though it was toxic, and staged a car accident that took out Robyn’s parents.

Later Robyn is adopted, but is tricked out of the money (nearly a million dollars) that her parents left behind for her.

She plans to get revenge against the man who conned her out of her money and the man who murdered her parents.

Plans go sideways when she’s caught snooping. Low and behold however that the man who caught her is FBI. And he’s going to allow Robyn to work with him.

Love comes knocking and the two get married.

Unfortunately for Damon and Robyn, Sandrine and Magnus Sinclair are obstacles. Obstacles that side tract their lives and keep them apart for 15 years.

Magnus was evil. No doubt about that. But Sandrine was malicious in her willful ignorance. I thought that in book 1 and I for sure walk away from this book thinking it again.

My 1 pet peeve, with the author, remains that she does not incorporate her side characters better. They’re so flat and without personality.

Harm and Dare appear but there’s so little of them it’s kind of like what was the point.

Pat gives Robyn the letter, takes her home and then poof he’s gone. No mention of him in the epilogue even though he’s been a security guard and close friend to Damon for more than a decade.

One last thought, Sandrine clearly kept in touch with Damon after he got her settled but that’s never touched on in this story. It would have been nice to know if their relationship was strained. At first in an effort to protect her he though his wife was dead, then because of the choices he’d made in part due to Sandrine refusing to work with the FBI, he had to do terrible things and literally could not go back to his wife.

Oh so good!

I have always love Dr. Sharp's stories and I wasn't left disappointed on this one either but now it's the end of the series and yes I may a little heart broken but I will always look for more story's by this author.Robyn did get her man,she always said she was going send him to the F.B.I and she did but only after he got caught trying to save from the criminals.Robyn waited fifteen years for her husband to come back, she didn't know if he was alive or what only she knew that he took off with another woman (that was what she was lead to believe) but somehow Damon ended up in his wife's clutches and she was hopping mad, fifteen years of build up anger.Damon does try to explain what he can but she can't trust him even after she puts him under a polygamy test.Damon is under cover and he gets his "wife'" mix up in ,so trying to save her and at the same time explain about what happen in the fifteen years that they were apart,he has his hands full!Damon and his Robber are getting closer, she is letting her heart melt a little and they are on a job and it goes wrong and it almost Damon's life but it spills apart again where so goes back home to her family to heal and dream of Damon and if he is coming for her! After mending she makes a decision to back to where she was staying with Damon and dream and hope! This was so good ,uplifting, hopeful and not boring. If you don't read it you will miss out on women who takes on the world to make it safer for women and children who fall under the disease men that think it ok to kidnapped them use them, sell them or kill them. And for the menout there like Damon who give love for fifteen years to help those women and children and take those dissible men,but Damon and his Robber were the lucky ones in the end! He always said he would come back for her and he love her!

We finally find out what the secret is between Damon Remington and Robyn Dubois. These two are married. Not only that but he was an FBI agent now wanted. Robyn has no problem turning him in but he has information on the man that killed her parents, Bernard Belmont. She isn’t going to fall for Damon’s good looks or smooth talking. Yeah, right. These two has such a history and we find out where he was all this time. Robyn knows that her Vigilantes MCs will save her but she needs to do this one on her own.

This story is the climactic end to the series. Robyn has been after those that killed her parents but also stole her inheritance. Each man has been taken down but one, Bernard Belmont. He is the last one but also Damon Remington. Damon happens to be her husband. That was a surprise that I don’t think even the brothers knew. We learn all about how they met and what happened 15yrs ago. This story was a roller coaster of highs and lows. I loved how smooth Damon is. But when you find out what he went through, OMG. I was totally not expecting that. Granted Rebecca has her boys altered a bit in each book. I was just surprised by Damon’s the most. And can I say, OUCH. Robyn was so stubborn at times. Damon should have been more open with her but I can understand. The ending almost killed me. I was crying tears of sorrow and joy. Thank goodness for a happy end cause I would have been so hurt if it wasn’t .

This book was fantastic! I haven’t read any of the other books in the series, but I had picked up another book by the author and liked it. So I figured I’d give this a try. I am so glad I did. (And I’ll be picking up the rest of the series.) The book started with a bang and didn’t let up. I absolutely love books where the hero is completely gone for the heroine, and that was Damon. Sigh. He’s a bad boy with so many secrets. But despite everything he is totally, absolutely, wildly in love with his wife. Even if they’ve been separated for 15 years. Even if he was the one who left. And even if she wants to kill him. Robyn was such a strong character, a woman who turned her heartbreak into action. She’s been seeking revenge on the man who killed her parents and has found a way to not only achieve her objectives but also give others power over the ones that have wronged them. This was a slow burn, but the passion was simmering so close to the surface for both Damon and Robyn and whenever the two of them were together it was scorching. I also loved the banter between them so much. And it’s all written so beautifully as well. The author has a great writing style and her descriptions and turns of phrase made the book that much better. Obviously I recommend this book completely.

The Vow is an amazing enemies to lovers romance which has charm, some suspense and is a page turner. I loved reading this book to the point where I didn’t want to set it down until I read the last page. This story is captivating from start to finish, entertaining and an enjoyable read. The characters of this book are fabulously written and beautifully executed throughout the story. The main characters of this story are Damon and Robyn. The chemistry between these two characters is absolutely breathtaking and smoking hot. I absolutely adored getting to know both Damon and Robyn as well as seeing their feelings for one another become stronger as their story progresses forward. I love that they have a happy ending to their story with them being happy together as a couple. I would definitely give this book as a recommendation for anyone to checkout and give it a read. The Vow is fabulously written, exceptionally balanced and beautifully executed by Dr. Rebecca Sharp. She continues to showcase what a phenomenal author she is with each book that I’ve read by her thus far. I’m looking forward to reading more amazing stories from this author in the future.

I’m kind of going back-and-forth with this rating. Parts of it I would say were a five, overall a really good story. Certain aspects, a four.

This is book 5, so clearly if you haven’t read any of the books, there will be spoilers. We know about Robyn from the start, and hear about the infamous Damon throughout the series. So it’s good to finally have their story. There is a bit of a warning in the beginning of the book, about the slow burn, the extremely slow burn. And that it was. But the majority of that didn’t bother me, most of the story reading pretty quick.

Robyn, with her adopted brothers, are all part of The Vigilantes group. Each book they have tried to take down criminals that deserved it. Many of the stories, including Damon, but no one really knew anything about him, a ghost. Until now; Actually at the end of book 4. Damon comes to the forefront and wants to make a deal. But the only person he will work with is Robyn.

Again, great story and love finally finding out what happened and who Damon really is. The slight ugh.. is the stubbornness of Robyn. Good grief. Also, the lack of her brothers. But this was very entertaining and interesting throughout.

The Vow by Dr. Rebecca Sharp is the perfect conclusion to the Vigilantes series—emotional, intense, and masterfully written. While it can technically be read as a standalone, reading the series in order is highly recommended to fully experience the arc of Robyn and Damon’s story, which has been slowly and strategically unfolding from book one.

This is a true slow-burn, second-chance romance packed with tension, longing, and jaw-dropping reveals. Damon Remington isn’t just a swoon-worthy anti-hero; he’s a man who has sacrificed everything—including his name, freedom, and heart—for the woman he married 15 years ago. Robyn Dubois is fierce and independent, and their dynamic is electric. Watching her unravel Damon’s motives and the layers of secrets between them is an emotional ride with moments of heartbreak, anger, forgiveness, and finally, healing.

The suspense is gripping, the emotional stakes are sky-high, and the steam, once it ignites, is incendiary. Every twist—especially the truth about Damon’s past and Robyn’s personal mission—makes for a rollercoaster that ties together all the series’ threads beautifully. The showdown with Bernard Belmont is the high-stakes conclusion we’ve been waiting for.

This finale gave me everything: action, redemption, heartbreak, and love. I laughed, I gasped, I cried. And when it was all over, I was left in awe. A stunning, satisfying end to an unforgettable series.

Let me preface this review by stating that I’m NOT a slow-burn kinda reader, but this was extremely well done. By the time Robyn and Damon finally got together for round two, the hype was worth it.

Now let me say that I’m a big Blacklist fan, and if you’ve watched that show, you can’t help but make parallels between Raymond Reddington and Damon Remington right down to their fedoras. They’re both suave and sophisticated and will do whatever necessary to protect their girls although Red’s is quasi-daughter while Damon’s is his wife.

I was excited to watch “Robber” and Damon’s relationship unfold, and the very many twists and turns that occurred, kept me reading even while sleep called to me.

With the exception of stating how good this book is, it’s hard to write a review sans spoilers. I will say that Damon and Robyn do get their own brand of HEA, and the bad guys receive much deserved justice. Other than that, read and enjoy this book with an open mind that’s ready for many curves!.

The Vigilante series has been addictive and unbelievably layered with new discoveries about the criminals who killed Robyn’s parents. At the end of the prior book the major discovery was Robyn was married to Damon Remington and has been for 15 years.

The passion between these two is combustible yet the pain and anger each of them have been harboring is almost unimaginable. Secrets, misunderstandings, subterfuge and more secrets have kept these two apart for too long.

The journey to discovering what happened and why is slow and difficult, but the ending is worth it. Robyn and Damon endured so much, they deserve a happy ending.

I do wish we’d have seen a scene or two with Robyn and Damon together with the other Vigilante couples.

The Vow is the 5th and final book in the Vigilantes series. It can be read as a standalone, but I highly recommend reading the books in order for the best reading experience since not only are both Robyn and Damon integral parts from the beginning, their story is also the culmination of the whole suspense and mystery plot. Their HEA includes the fall of the final villains the whole group has been fighting. Yes, it's a slow burn, second-chance-at-love story, but it's still a page-turner from page one and when the smolder and sparks finally ignite, the result is truly explosive and spectacular! So sad to see the end of this series but I look forward to the next one. And there is one side character footloose and in need of a HEA of his own - so maybe we'll catch up with the Vigilantes again in the future. I’ve been eagerly waiting for this book for a while, and it did not disappoint! Robyn and Damon’s happy ending was truly remarkable, and I enjoyed every aspect of their story.

Damon had to make some questionable choices to protect his wife, even if it meant she might hate him for it. I loved how devoted he was to Robyn; their partnership was everything one could hope for.

As for Robyn, I felt an immediate connection to her. I loved her from the very first glance. Her strength and determination to stand her ground were a delight to witness.

Overall, this was an outstanding read. If you enjoy enemies-to-lovers and second-chance romance, with a touch of forced proximity and a golden retriever-like hero who is soft only for his wife, then this book is definitely for you.

Thank you, Booksprout and Rebecca, for the ARC! :)

I struggled with this one. It's well-written and edited, it's just the slow burn was a bit too slow and the angst was over the top. She continued to bend and break and he continued to not communicate with her. It got old. I made it to about the 70% point and tried to muddle through to the end but I just couldn't take it anymore. It's exceedingly rare that I don't finish a book. Especially one I agreed to review. Seriously couldn't.
The MFC is supposed to be this strong independent woman but keeps putting up with the same BS because they're supposedly in love and he's doing it to protect her? It just didn't gel with me at all. I got it for awhile but once he shared what happened and why he did what he did, I figured he would communicate better but he pulled the same thing and she sucked it up and then puts herself in danger because he didn't communicate with her. And they "seal the deal" in the enemy's house when they are in mortal danger and the antagonist has access to the room despite the lock on the door? I feel bad but this story was just not for me. I've read other books by this author that I have truly enjoyed. Just not this one.

Rebecca Sharp wrote a beautiful second chance romance to wrap up Yhe Vigilante Series.

The MMC is hot! He's an al0ha male, a protector, and will keep his vow to protect his wife even though he hasn't seen her in awhile.

The suspense is off the charts! I laughed, I cried, I had to put the book down and come back to the story. Yhe book hangover is real for this one!

Damon is a morally grey, anti-hero, but his live for Robyn is true and deep. The things he's done for her, given up for her.

Robyn is strong and independent and doesn't want Damon's help... until she needs it because the stakes are so high.

The heartbreak, the tension, yhe redemption, and the spice... this book had all the feels and wrapped the story up beautifully!!! I highly recommend it!.

I found The Vow by Dr. Rebecca Sharp to be a compelling and emotionally rich romance. The story drew me in with its well-developed characters and the realistic portrayal of their struggles and growth. Sharp’s writing style is engaging and heartfelt, which made it easy for me to connect with the protagonists and their journey.

The romance felt genuine, with a good balance of tension, vulnerability, and hope. I appreciated how the story tackled meaningful themes alongside the romantic plot, adding depth to the narrative. The pacing was steady, allowing the relationship to unfold naturally without feeling rushed.

While some elements were familiar to me, the strong character development and emotional authenticity made The Vow stand out. Overall, I’d give it four stars. It’s a touching and well-crafted romance that I’d recommend to readers who enjoy stories with heart and depth.

There's a lot of crumb left by the author for Robyn's story since... even since Covington Security, I guess. So to say this book is the most anticipated is understatement. Sadly, it's not deliver nicely.

First, their separation for 15 years seems too much. And it begins with misunderstanding, only come to light when Damon find Robyn use his name for Kane's to use. A bit weird for most prominent criminal consultant. His insistent of protecting Robyn keep getting old as the book progress. Because all he did was not bring Robyn to discussion and just using her. Even when the truth come out, he's trying to left Robyn under disguise of protecting her.

Damon's story remind me of TV Series "The Blacklist". Somehow I'm not really impress. It's a sad revelation, as I really wanted to see Robyn's HEA. The epilogue was not even real epilogue, as Damon never gonna be free.

I have been reading Dr. Rebecca Sharpe’s books for quite a while now. Going through all of the books you have heard about the infamous Damon Remington. Hearing about him, only makes you have more questions. Who is he? What makes him tick? What makes him strong? What makes him weak?

Going through the story, makes it clear. The answer to all of those questions is the same Robyn.

This story will have you swooning. It will have you burning from the very first page until you really don’t think you can handle it anymore. And then, you’ll be so wrapped up. You can’t stop reading until you hit the very last page.

What a way to end!.

This is the last book in The Vigilantes Series and ties up the loose ends and Robyn’s reasons for all that she does. We see the complexity in Robyn and Damon’s relationship and how it began and all the things Damon has done to ensure Robyn gets what she has been after as well as trying to protect her. This is a page turner full of mystery and intrigue and love. It is a fantastic conclusion to the series and can be read as a stand alone but definitely better if you have read all the other books in the series as there are some connections in each and every book. As always you can’t go wrong with a Dr. Rebecca Sharp novel. Can’t wait to see what comes next and hoping maybe Pat gets a book of his own.

I have looked forward to this book since this series started. Robyn and Damon’s storyline has been expertly woven throughout the entire series. We have been given a trail of breadcrumbs to follow in each book, and everything comes together spectacularly in The Vow.

There is absolutely nothing Damon Remington wouldn’t do for his wife. He would burn the world down at the expense of himself to keep her safe and slay her dragons, and he has.

Watching Robyn unravel everything Damon has done in the last 15 years and why he’s done it is a wild ride. This is a very slow burn, but once that spark ignites, it’s incendiary. This was the absolute perfect ending to this series.

Oh wow these two are full of friction amidst the obvious attraction.

Robyn doesn't need or want protection especially from her husband former FBI now criminal Damon Remington.

Fiery and explosive, the overwhelming attraction that had long been on hold and if Robyn has anything to do with it, stays that way. But if course it doesn't.

Chock full of suspense, danger, and intensity that comes from not just their relationship but from the situation coming at them.

A fantastic book. Well written and a compelling read. Can't ask for more!!.

The Vow is Damon and Robyn's story a heartbreaking and emotional journey as the past and the present collide in a exciting and explosive second chance for redemption acceptance and just maybe love then it will really kick it up a notch when the danger action and drama comes into play keeping you entertained and hanging onto the edge of your seat in anticipation of the next plot twist and the icing on the cake is the strong found family dynamics proving family isn't always blood related.

Robyn and Damon's story is very interesting, full of suspense and twists.

Damon is a man on a mission! His sole goal is to become a monster. . . Why? Robyn - his wife.

How far are you prepared to go to protect the one you love?
How much pain will you endure you make sure they are safe?
Will you risk everything to make sure they believe your lie?

This story answers all these questions.

Robyn and Damon’s story is heartbreaking and tragic: their love is stronger than the villains!! His devotion and protection over her keeps them apart, but she’s in the dark about his motivation. I love the suspense, the danger, and the intensity between them as they fight the final battle. Good vs evil that sometimes takes some gray to achieve the desired result. This whole series demonstrates that theme and each story builds on that strategy. Great read!.

First let me say if you are into slow burn novels you will.not enjoy this one. I however loved it! I'd say about 70% is slow, steamy, extreme tension. But it paid off because it made you savor the story. Our MML not only burns for his wife but he tortured himself for years just to prove his loyalty. Can you man do that? And our girl Robyn is bad ass as ever. I loved seeing this story form and really tied every thing up for her!.
