Alpha Erik is always angry. An Alpha who can't shift was regarded as the lowest of the low but Erik proves those who believe that, wrong. He's stronger, he's faster and he's got the world in his palm.Cobie has been on the run ever since the death of his family years ago. He never stays in the same place for too long due to his special gift. It was such a strange thing that made people stare in fear or be curious about. Mates have been extinct since The Great Cry. So what happens when an ever angry alpha meets a human with something to hide?
I like the book. If you can forgive some of the grammar issues then the book is a fine read. There is also a repeat of a chapter on chapter 33.
As you read the opening you get to read the goddesses Serene POV. It’s just sad that throughout the whole book you never hear from her again as how both Erik and Cobie are part of a prophecy.
There are some chapters that didn’t make sense or scenes that didn’t come together right. Like when Colbie sees his family again. We also never get to know about Erik vision of death again and the part it plays later nor Colbies interaction with the goddess.
Overall it was ok if you can forgive some parts but I feel like the book was translated so you cannot fault them for that.
The basis of the story had promise. However, there were too many spelling errors, missing words, & transitioning between characters was not very well done. The dialogue between characters was often corny. Very childlike and lots of repetitive words and phrases. For the next book, I would definitely recommend having beta readers.
