Tylor Paige (she/her) is an Amazon Top 3 bestselling author of what her readers have lovingly labeled, whorror.

Tylor is proof that horror doesn’t have to be serious to be effective. It can be self-aware, playful, and at times romantic, while still telling a solid scary story. In blending her passions for both romance and horror she’s not only creating something that’s both risqué and bloody, she’s bridging the gap between the hopelessly romantic and the hopelessly haunted.

Tylor Paige does it again! I was hooked from the beginning- while I did read the Novella a while back this full length blew my freaking mind.

I really thought I was gonna want to drop kick Eleanor but she manages to save the day in the end … but the real star of the show G A R Y!! (i knew he’d be great because my grandpas name was Gary)

I love the wasteland, I love Riot, I think the post apocalyptic world was super freaking interesting.

The bunkers were insane, who knew what the helll was going on down there? And the damn plot twist in there end… jeeze.

Can I have 1% of your creativity PLEASE😭😭😭

Tylor does it AGAIN! I was hooked on Eleanor and her D.A.D.D.Y Challahan since Like Father, Like Slaughter and I'm so glad we got more. Add Riot into the mix, yes please! I liked the spice level. It also makes you wonder what the world would be like post apocalyptic. The creativity and imagination that Tylor brought to this story was just wow. I loved it.

Described as a combination of the games 'Fallout' and 'Bioshock' (which is one of my absolute favourites!) I definitely went into this thinking it was going to be odd, and I was definitely right. It had all the apocalyptic, brainwashing, futuristic and crazy vibes, along with a heap of romance and smut.

The author note at the beginning warns readers that the book may not focus on the plot as much as it does the horror and spicy elements, and it definitely showed. I was glad for the warning, otherwise my expectations would've been different. The pacing is on and off, and the story goes from weird to weider, with no real hiccups and it's kind of messy. I enjoyed the ideas of the Bunkers, along with the Young Ladies and the DADDY's to protect them, those aspects definitely showed where the inspiration was from, along with the splicing and Creepies.

The main characters weren't full of depth, Eleanor was quite annoying and bratty, her DADDY, Callahan, (who's just a guy her age assigned to protect her) was kind of obsessive, and Riot who's from the Wastelands above was just a rough around the edges guy. Nonetheless, I enjoyed their chemistry together. To begin with it's just Cal and Eleanor being all forbidden and spicy, but then they meet Riot who seems to join them, and the duo become a trio. Their scenes together, especially near the end, were...interesting, but well written and spicy.

The overall story does take a backseat at the end, things wrap up pretty quickly and everything gets solved within a few chapters. It's a really fucking weird book, but not in the bad way, and I'm pretty sure I enjoyed it?

This is the full-length book from the novella Like Father Like Slaughter. U get a more in-depth story on Eleanor and Cal.

Eleanor is a young lady in training, and Cal is a daddy in training. Riot is a wastelander like his sister Cherry and her boyfriend Soda. But Cal and Eleanor are the bunker people. Plus, they gotta make sure the creepie and crawlie's don't get them. We get Cal and Eleanor's backstories, and we get to see Riot's backstory, too. There were so many plot twists that kept u wanting more. This is a very fast-paced book, and it's all so good. This book did not disappoint it was so good.

YALLLLLLLLLL I WAS SO EXCITED FOR THIS BOOK!
It was perfect, giving you spicy fallout/bioshock energy

This is a continuation of like father like slaughter, but you also get parts of that storyline in this books from other perspectives and different places.

I was taken aback because the world building was so good in the novella but Ty did a killer job on really giving us so much more after we begged so nicely.

Also the story went waaaaaay off from what I thought we were going to get and I loved that so much!!

The first book in the final ghouls series and I am thrilled we got the chance to jump into the wastelands and bunkers again.

Bee: Picking back up where Like Father, Like Slaughter left off, HLA filled in so many gaps and added so much more to the story. I loved seeing a little more backstory to Eleanor & Cal and even Riot’s backstory too. When Ty says the pace is gonna be fast, she ain’t lyin. This story took off and next thing I knew it was 1 am and it was done and I was in a tizzy. From her first book we’ve read to this, Ty’s world building is becoming immaculate.
Nik: I was so excited when Ty said we’d be getting a full length story where Like Father, Like Slaughter ended and it was amazing. Ty brought so much back story and horror elements to life. I loved the world building and resident evil vibes. I couldn’t put it down! I loved everything about this book.
Thank you to Tylor for giving us the opportunity to arc this!

Omg I was so excited to be getting a full length novel after reading the Like Father Like Slaughter novella and this scratched every itch I didn’t even know needed scratching.

Set in a post apocalyptic wasteland with Fallout vibes, creepies and crawlies, Daddies and your ladies( Dedicated. Attentive. Devoted. Defender of. Young Ladies ) tattoo artist FMC and MMF relationship.

I love the extended story for Callahan and Eleanor and the new characters were amazing and added so much to the already drool worthy storyline. Riot Ritalin 😮‍💨🔥

If you want some spicy post apocalyptic horror romance then this is for you. This is the first book of the standalone Final Ghouls series and was an easy 5 star read for me.

I read and loved the short/novella version of these characters, Like Father Like Slaughter, so I was looking forward to this expanded version very much but unfortunately it didn't hit as well.

It is a true expansion, not just story tacked onto the end of the novella, which I appreciated. While there are a couple chapters that appeared in the novella they are interspersed within brand new chapters that expand on the story as well as introduce a brand new character, Riot, who eventually becomes a member of their relationship.

While the lack of development worked in the short format, it is a let down in the full version, particularly in the relationships, with each of Callahan and Eleanor's relationship with Riot being too insta, and the conflict between Callahan and Eleanor as a result never really explored. To be fair, the author says not to expect good development in the author's note, I just was hoping it would be a tad better than it was after how much I enjoyed the short form version.

I didn't mind all of the apocalyptic/sci-fi/horror (kind of a mishmash of those things, without really being one over the other, for me anyway) content and found the bunkers and wasteland interesting, but I would have liked more steam in this expanded version. It has the dub/non-con scenes from the novella (which I loved) and while some of the ones added in are okay I would have preferred more of the DC/NC/somno and Daddy kink, personally, rather than progressing into more tame/normal MMF sex and presenting Daddy kink as if it is wrong/perverted (granted, it was from the intention of the bunker-makers, villains, etc.).

Lastly, there were about 80 outright errors and another 75+ minor punctuation or sentence structure issues that became annoying in their volume.

All things considered, I did enjoy the novella and some of the concepts enough that I might try another book by this author, but I will give myself some time and distance from the issues I had with this one first.

"You’re so f*cking beautiful like this Eleanor, silenced, unable to f*cking whine and complain. All you can do is take my c*ck, and you take it so well. You’re such a greedy girl. Fuck me, brat.”

After reading 'Like Father, Like Slaughter' I immediately hoped on the GIMME A FULL-LENGTH NOVEL band wagon and I am so glad Ty delivered! The vibes in this book were unmatched!! The whole book read like a movie, and I found myself oooohing and booooingas I went. The relationship between Eleanor and her daddy was already so good, I was a little nervous about adding Riot into the mix but yallllllll he was everything I didn't even know I needed.

I can't wait to see what more Ty has up her sleeve for the Final Ghouls world!!!

*ARC REVIEW*

I'm very thrilled that this book exists in the world, and if you think you know what happens because you read LFLS, you'd be wrong; there is so much more to come. The world building and visuals Ty gives for this book read like a beautifully dystopian post-apocalyptic horror film. I am utterly obsessed with the Bioshock/Fall Out vibes this book gave the whole time; It is seriously like watching a movie in my mind, and I cannot get enough of Ty's writing. Deliciously unhinged. I thought Eleanor and Callahan were great, but adding in Riot and all of the other side-characters? OMG, it was a whole journey. Hips, Lips, Apocalypse is the perfect whorror book for fans of apocalyptic dystopian worlds. Seriously, just read it, and then we can chat. So much happens, and I loved every second.

It absolutely blew my mind! It is an expansion of her novella Like Father, Like Slaughter, and she somehow made it even better. Learning just how twisted and horrific these bunkers truly were was such a shock, and I just couldn't put it down. I definitely recommend it.

Wh0rror babies begged and Tylor provided! Hips, Lips, Apocalypse expands on the novella, Like Father Like Slaughter, providing more context and giving everyone their happily ever after.
This first Final Ghouls book did have a different feel than the Final Girls series. Of course, it still has that Tylor Paige unique je ne sais quoi to it. The story takes place in a post-apocalyptic, dystopian world. Eleanor is a young lady that catches some major feelings for her D.A.D.D.Y. She can’t stand Cal, and is furious that she has to call him D.A.D.D.Y. when they are almost the same age.
The book gives some major Lost vibes- think hatches, “others”, and twisted experiments. There are some surprising twists and turns that had me speed reading to find out what was going to happen and I read the last half of the book in one sitting!

A bioshock/fallout inspired post-apocalyptic erotic horror...yes! Just YES!

This was amazing. We got Like Father Like Slaughter, and we wanted more. Ty gave us more and then some. This book was amazing! Eleanor was such a brat, and thankfully, Cal and Riot were there to put her in her place. Eleanor was a spoiled brat at times, but she was not to be underestimated. She took down some gruesome monsters with perfect Young Lady execution.
This book had my heart pounding. The spice was perfect for the story and a delicious addition to the horror and banter. I love a good hand necklace, bi-awakening, forbidden spicy romance.

Always remember, Gary is the GOAT.🐐

Small Business BookTok ARC Reviews: “Hips, Lips, and Apocalypse” by
Tylor Paige

Note: This ARC was given to me for free by the author and I am reviewing this book voluntarily.

In a post apocalyptic wasteland, deep in an underground vault, the D.A.D.D.Ys, (aka the Dedicated, Attentive, and Devoted Defenders of Young Ladies), are tasked with working with the women known as the Young Ladies to gather items and complete missions in order to help save the Earth. When one of the Young Ladies, Eleanor, turns 18, she not only finds herself frustrated by strict rules constantly enforced onto her and the other women, but she craves to claim her independence and make a life for herself . When her birthday turns into a freak disaster that gets her D.A.D.D.Y killed, she is assigned her rival, Callahan, as the new D.A.D.D.Y! The more time she spends with Callahan, the more Elenor's eyes open to the true horrors hidden around her, which leads to an escape from the vault that will change their lives, and hearts, forever!

BookTok Frank-N-Furter and Horror Romance author Tylor Paige never ceases to amaze and shock with her “Final Girls” spin-off series “Final Ghouls”! An expansion of her Novella “Like Father, Like Slaughter”, this series combines exposition and lore that feels reminiscent of a love child of “Fallout” and “Bioshock”. By expanding upon said story, Tylor Paige further enhances her characters and their story arcs. Eleanor's character is by far the most satisfying arc as she gradually transitions throughout the book from a woman instructed and forced to trust a suppressive, sexist system to a woman who dares to explore her dreams and romantic desires on her own terms! Callaghan’s character arc and Morally Grey alignment is also more fleshed out in the novel, with the addition of the character Riot acting as the bridge that helps him, along with Eleanor, come to terms with their identities and needs. Ready to dive into the world of “Final Ghouls”? Then don’t miss out on this book when it hits online shelves on August 9, 2024!

"adults relationships?" olive smirked. "you mean you're a whore now."

now, i'm not saying i'm on her side but... i fear olive ate her up.

THE ENDING??? HORNDOG SERUM??? GET THE FUCK OUTTA HEREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE (horror where?)

oh yes, one more also. *cough, cough* i hated this because the way the three formed like. first of all, callahan just let riot suck his dick and was like "yup, gonna pay no regard to this girl that i killed for and escaped with and told her i LOVED HER, yup, who gives a shit abt her feelings, i should have totally discussed this with her before this happened but like who cares." like the whole thing of proving to her that he indeed did love her after that felt so fucking fake like bro... and what's even fucking worse is that riot didn't even love him, BRO JUST WANTED TO FUCK HIM, HE LOVED ELEANA, like if ur gonna ruin smth at least do it for a better reason. smh. AND ALSO, ALSO, THE FACT THAT CALLAHAN GOT JEALOUS OF RIOT AND ElEANOR?!?!?! LIKE BOY, DON'T MAKE ME COME IN THERE AND FEED U TO THE CREEPIES (or whatever they were called) BECAUSE I WILL, LIKE, I DON'T THINK I'VE HATED SOMEONE SO PASSIONATELY (this is hormonally charged hate but who gives af)

if there is one thing i don't fuck with, IT'S THIS.

i should never read books like these when i'm on my period AND VERY EMOTIONALLY CHARGED SMHMSHMSHMSHMSHMSHSMH 😭 also the whole 'daddy' and childish persona of ELEANOR pissed me the fuck off. miss girl, if u do not grow up in another three seconds i'm going to fucking bitch-slap you across the face and curb-stomp u like GIRLLLLLL

(don't count how many times i've said also and how many grammar mistakes i've made bc i don't feel like getting FUCKED WITH RN)

yup, yup, yup, tylor paige, i'm sure you're an amazing person but this should've stayed as a novella.

𝖙𝖍𝖔𝖚𝖌𝖍𝖙𝖘:
Let me be the first to say I LOVE Bioshock and Fallout - they are some of my favorite games and so when I saw that HLA was essentially both of those games combined into an erotic horror romance?! Oh I was so ready. The vibes of this book and the story were everything. ✨️

Tylor did an amazing job blending those games together, make it unique and creating a love story out of it. I enjoyed the apocalyptic aspect, the bunkers, the zombie like creatures and deformed monsters in the wastelands. I was clutching my pearls at the experiments and how awful the truth behind the bunkers were and I was constantly fascinated by how much of a boss ass bitch Eleanor was despite being raised to be a spoiled, "pure", niave little girl even as a grown woman. I ADORED her bratty side too. The banter between her and Callahan, the grief she caused him by just being the biggest brat had me chuckling and I truly appreciated the way their relationship grew despite everything working against them. I was curious how Riot would fit into them since it took about half way through for him to even meet them but, we were still getting to know him in the background and in the end I felt he was the missing puzzle piece they didn't even know they needed. Riot was truly a fun addition to their relationship, even though he could've learned some boundaries early on. 😂

Honestly, we need more wasteland/apocalyptic type smutty romances out there. I enjoyed this way too much and wish it didn't end.

Holy 😮‍💨 FIVE STARS ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ AND THREE 🌶️🌶️🌶️

Before I start this review I wanna get on here and say I have never read a book by Tylor Paige that wasn’t freaking amazing. I just thought I’d throw that out here.

If you’ve read like father like slaughter this is a continuous story of the dystopian D.A.D.D.Y and young lady program.

🖤 This book is a standalone
🧍‍♂️🧍‍♂️🧍‍♀️ MMF
📚Dystopian horror romance with a HEA
⚠️ Always check trigger warnings before reading anything, this story has some heavy topics!
🕹️ Inspired by the game bioshock and fallout
🗑️ Apocalyptic wasteland setting
🎀 DDLG with no age gap
✍️Tattoo artistic FMC (loves art)
🧪Dark Experiments
💄 BRAT energy with a daddy that matches the same attitude
🖐🏻 Special necklace 😏 iykyk
🤦🏻‍♀️ And who doesn’t like a why choose???

Now let’s get into the characters…

Sweet Eleanor, I loved very much. But Callahan and Riot 😮‍💨 their character dynamic was written so well. I could not get enough of Callahan from like father like slaughter so I had to read this one. Eleanor may be sweet but she is also bratty 🫢 the three of them make a perfect relationship.

Of course Tylor Paige always has to make us gasp with devious twists in the books. I was blown away all throughout the book that I literally could not put this book down. It was sooo good. I stayed up all night reading. She always overdo herself in every book written and I always get excited when I see a new release and can’t wait get my hands on it.

You’re gonna want to check this one out!!

Another insanely fun, hot, and horrific tale from Tylor Paige!

I LOVED Hips, Lips, Apocalypse. If you read the novella Like Daughter, Like Slaughter, these characters will look familiar! Of course, you can read this book without having read the novella first. As someone who did read it prior to this book, I had SO much fun!

Tylor really expanded on the story that kept it fresh and exciting. Not only do we have new characters, but there's more expansion into Eleanor and Cal's backstories, the world-building, politics, societies above and underground, and SO many creepies, crawls, and other creatures.

We get a third perspective and easily one of my top Tylor characters to date, Riot. It's the hand necklaces for me!! I can't spoil much else, there's more to it, but you have to read it. He's giving Mikey Way from MCR's Danger Days album energy, but edgier, tatted, and ready to steal your partner(s). I love Riot, I love him with Eleanor and Cal, and I love how he influences the storyline.

I'm also obsessed with the exploration of bunker society! There are all sorts of horrific happenings that ensue. There's a bit of psychological horror, supernatural horror, and all sorts of apocalyptic horrors to keep you on your toes. Tylor always writes the perfect mix of hot, fun, campy, horror.

I can't recommend Tylor's work enough! You won't want to miss out on Hips, Lips, Apocalypse and all future releases in the Final Ghouls series. Thank you so so much Tylor Paige for allowing me an ARC!

Tylor Paige has done it again! Un-freaking-real! This “whorror” author just keeps going from strength to strength in their writing and style.

I got a taste in the Like Father, Like Slaughter (LFLS) novella and just knew that this first instalment in the Final Ghouls series was going to be epic!

Hips, Lips, Apocalypse has been one of the books I’ve looked most forward to this year and I will read it again and again just like my fav horror and slasher flicks. There are little snippets and perspectives injected into the storyline that offer additional layering to LFLS which had me bouncing excitedly. Then throw in the backstory expansion of old and debut characters alike that I ate up along with fascinating creatures, places and new faces that highlight how delightfully unique and quirky this series is and is bound to be going forward.

In other words— the post-apocalyptic world-building is on point! There are no words… you just need to read and experience it for yourselves.
The level of detail given paints quite the twisted dystopian picture— a full-length horror feature in my mind’s eye. So deeply engrossed within the wastelands and bunker systems of this Bioshock-styled scape, I found that I didn't wanna come back to this reality because it's oh-so-fun to explore down in 237 and other surrounds.

Tylor has this magical ability of captivating and leaving you squirming all at once… ‘cos ya know— this shiz is unhinged! The spice is tasty but not over the top— for me at least. Come to think of it though, enough of you are well aware by now that I’m a bit out there, so you’ll have to make your own minds up on that one!

Even after reading this book I still marvel at how crafty our dear author is and that the A-typical predictability so often found in many horror and thriller offerings is nowhere in evidence.
Now please, go read HLA. You won’t regret it… promise! Eleanor, Cal, Riot and the gang are absolute delights.

“This is too tempting. You’re too perfect.”

Tylor Paige has done it once again! Am i surprised? Absolutely not! I mean she out does herself with every single release! Hips, Lips, Apocalypse is the perfect whorror book for fans of apocalyptic dystopian worlds. Before diving into this book,I suggest reading Like Father, Like Slaughter, which is a quick introduction to the some story elements and characters.

Hips, Lips, Apocalypse perfectly retells the events of Like Father, Like Slaughter in greater detail. We get more personal with Eleanor and Callahan as they attempt to escape their underground bunker. The story eventually picks up where Like Father, Like Slaughter ends, with the two escaping with one another. I loved the attention to detail and the new elements added which made Eleanor and Callahan’s love story more interesting. In addition to these new features, a brand new character, Riot, is introduced (and I’m obsessed with him). Eleanor, Cal, and Riot’s relationship is steamy and they have so much chemistry. They work so well together and are perfect for each other.

The plot twists in this book were top tier! Learning more about the deceitful underground bunker was so interesting. And that ending?!? Perfection! I highly recommended reading all of Tylor Paige’s work, especially if you love horror and spice!
