Don't run from us, little bunny.

Amara is just trying to survive, keeping her head down while simultaneously trying to stay away from her pack’s territory and her abusive alpha father as much as possible. So, when she discovers that she has not one, but three mates and that they are all rogues, it really turns her life upside down.

The pull to them is strong, the desire to feel loved for once in her life even stronger. No matter how hard she tries, she can’t stay away from them and she is torn between giving in to her desires and doing what’s expected of her. If her father finds out about them, there will be hell to pay, but Drake, Zeke, and Knox? They can take care of themselves.

The real question is whether or not they can protect her too.

A dark, feral, emotionally-charged shifter romance that hits the “found family but make it dangerous and horny” button hard — and mostly sticks the landing.

Claimed by the Damned is the kind of paranormal romance that kicks the door open with rogue‑wolf swagger, drops three dangerously devoted mates at your feet, and says, “Good luck, sweetheart.” It’s messy, intense, trauma‑soaked, and absolutely leaning into the fantasy of being loved fiercely after a lifetime of being treated like nothing. And honestly? It works.

Amara is instantly sympathetic — a survivor who’s been living in the shadow of her abusive alpha father, doing everything she can to stay small, stay quiet, stay alive. She’s not the loud, sassy heroine type; she’s the bruised, wary one who’s learned to flinch before she breathes. That vulnerability makes her arc feel earned, even when the story leans into familiar tropes.

And then there are the rogues: Drake, Zeke, and Knox. Three mates. Three flavors of feral devotion. Three men who look at Amara like she hung the moon and also like they’d burn down the world if she asked nicely. Their dynamic is chaotic in a fun way — protective, possessive, and emotionally intense without tipping into caricature. They’re dangerous, but they’re also soft with her in a way she’s never experienced, and that contrast is the book’s beating heart.

The tension comes from more than just the romance. The world is hostile, the pack politics are brutal, and Amara’s father is the kind of villain who makes your skin crawl even when he’s off-page. The stakes feel real, and the danger doesn’t let up. The “can they protect her?” question isn’t just romantic — it’s survival.

Where the book shines:

Emotional payoff — Amara finally being wanted, chosen, and protected hits hard.

The rogues’ dynamic — each mate feels distinct, not just a copy-paste alpha.

Atmosphere — dark, tense, and dripping with that “run, little bunny” energy.

Where it wobbles a bit:

Some pacing bumps, especially early on.

A few moments where the trauma and danger overshadow character depth.

The worldbuilding is intriguing but not fully fleshed out yet.

Still, the emotional core lands beautifully. It’s dark, it’s tender, it’s a little unhinged, and it absolutely scratches the itch for a heroine who finally gets the love and protection she’s been denied her whole life.

A solid four stars — addictive, intense, and full of that deliciously feral shifter‑romance energy.

Amara is content with running her bookshop until something happens to bring the three bar owners crashing into her life. Drake, Zeke, and Knox quickly make her realize how lonely she had been. Wonderful characters and an amazing plot keep you turning the pages in this book. With some surprises you won't see coming it's definitely worth the read! I loved every second of this book!

I lovveeedddd this book! It’s a spicy paranormal shifter romance and the authors did amazing with the happily ever after!

Can’t help it but Knox is my favorite character because he’s just so adorably unhinged! But all the guys had their own special place in my heart for this book.

Small Spoiler Alert 🚨
Not the fucking book store 🫣😞😞😫

This book is a why choose, shifter romance. The FMC Amara has a strange encounter in the alley behind her bookstore with a man who is trying to rob her bookstore. Right before entering the building, 3 men come to her rescue. Meet Knox, Drake, and Zeke 3 rouge wolves with no one but each other to call family until Arama that is. The men kill the robber (which they knew) and then dispose of the body. At this moment all 4 of them could sense something between them…. They were all soulmates. 😳

Each of the guys has their own personalities which I absolutely love. Knox is the crazy, energetic one who also battles with addiction, but is absolutely ferral about Amara and will do anything and I mean ANYTHING for his mate. Zeke is the gentle one who is more of a comfort, he is gentle with Amara and is like a security blanket for her. He is who she can talk to about problems and find comfort in his advice to her. Then there is Drake, the tough guy, the one who doesnt want any added problems of what having a soulmate with a pack would bring. He tried to push her away as much as possible but eventually the bond is stronger than his stubbornness.

This book is a must read! The spicy scenes are amazing, the relationship between all of them is addictive and there are scenes that will have you crying. Absolutely recommend!!!

DNF around 15%
At 10%, we have the FMC succumbing to BBS:
It was wrong but in all the right ways, and Amara quickly found herself kissing him back, despite her better judgment.

11%
“That’s if you can even make me scream.” The words were out of her mouth before she could stop herself. She hadn’t meant to say that out loud, but she wasn’t exactly thinking clearly.

14%
Her rational mind must have been lost somewhere back down in the bar. It was the only explanation she had for allowing the guys to take her upstairs, knowing full well what they had planned.

While the book had some good points, the writing and lack of showing not telling really did a disservice to the reader.

I loved everything about this book. It had me all in my feelings. Amara's life changed one fateful night when she was unexpectedly saved by 3 men who turned out to be her fated (rouge wolf shifter) mates. Two of them Knox and Zeke were instantly obsessed with her while Drake had major reservations about giving into the mate bond. Their road to a HEA was filled with so many obstacles the biggest being Amara's father who was also her father. I'll definitely be rereading this again at some point it was just that good. My only grip with the book is I wish it was 1st person instead of 3rd person.

This is a 3.75 for me.
This book was super spicy spicy and many will probably enjoy this book 1 handed. The spice was a 4.5 (🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️.5). I believed and enjoyed the chemistry as it pertained to Amara and her 3 mates. But for the plot itself and the story I wish it had been a little more fleshed out. If you're looking for a super spicy read without it being plot heavy, then this is the book for you. For me however, I was enjoying the characters and just wanted to enjoy them outside the bedroom as well. The plot of the book was pretty straight forward without any twists or turns and the ending was expected. I will also I wish there were more opportunities to read about the wolf shifters actually being wolves and reading and learning the pack dynamics and even meeting more of the pack and seeing who they are feeling and surviving under Amara's father's abusive hand. For this being a wolf shifter book there was only one scene I think where they shifted into wolves, and it wasn't a super impactful scene that added to the story. No shifting and challenging her father in an alpha challenge which would have really been cool. Overall, I enjoyed the spice, and I enjoyed the authors writing for what was there I just wish there had been more to of it and the plot expanded because there were a lot of opportunities where the story really could have shined.

This story is about Amara who is the daughter to the alpha of her pack and to say her relationship with her father is a strained one is an understatement. He belittles her and at time hurts her, thankfully she has the bookstore that her mother left her which has given her a place of refuge and has become an important place to the community. Well one night when taking out the trash she is held up in an attempted robbery. Just when things were starting to get dicey, three men show up and "handle" the issue permanently. But when things settle down and she is able to get a look at them she realizes that not one but all 3 of these men are her mates and if that wasn't a shock to the system but it turns out all three of them are rouges. Which according to her father the only good rouge is a dead one... so what is she to do when fate would say otherwise.

I received an ARC copy in exchange for an honest review.

Absolutely love this book! Man this had me laughing a few tears and whole lot of anger and heat. This book is what I needed. I devoured this book. This a 6⭐️ read for me. So many twists and turns, so many oh man didnt see that coming.

Amara is a strong wolf shifter that is abused my someone close to her. She finally meets her mates but it comes with great challenges. As she deals with her trauma and her father.
The men in book is a ride or die relationship. The men worship her even when Amara feels unworthy. Knox is my all time favorite but the love that Zeke has is pure. I hated Darke for about half the book until he realized that hes and idiot! But then I come around to his character and just loved them all! And man im not sure whitch guy was more hot!! This book is spicy 🌶🌶🌶🌶.

This was a great book.i truly wish I could reread it over again for the first time. It was thrilling, fun fast paced book with twist and turns and just was so sad for it to be over.

My first time reading a book by these authors and it was so good It did not disappoint. Loved the story easy to read and just overall enjoying. I recommend this book 100%!

Thanks for letting me be apart of your team.

Plot: 3.5/5 • Spice: 3/5 ———> Shifters, but the main topic of the story. Drake, Zeke and Knox save Amara from a robbery. Her bookshop is next door the their bar. When they meet? Turns out they’re fated mates. Problem is they’re rogue shifters and she’s in a pack. She’s actually the alphas daughter.

She falls quickly for Knox and Zeke’s charm. Bonds with them quickly. Drake takes a while. He’s back and forth and his past dominates his thoughts. He does eventually bond with her.

Amara wants to leave pack and join her mated rogues. Her father, who verbally and physically abuses her, has other ideas. He eventually uses Amara as a prop to keep the rest of his pack in line. Knox goes a little AWOL, and takes matters into his own hands.

We do get a HEA. We do get a surprise pregnancy (😐). This was okay. Again, th main focal point was not that they were shifters. They do turn to their wolves once or twice, but that’s it.

Solid 3.5 I thoroughly enjoyed all the MC's in this story. I was rooting for Amara (FMC) the entire time! The emotional payoff with her character is fantastic and her journey throughout this book is well worth the read. All the MMC's each brought something different to the table. I loved all 4 of them together 🖤🖤 while a couple MCs were all for the magnetic pull it was nice to have one that fought it. Added so much depth to the overall premise.

The spice in this was spicccccyyyyy. Sooo hottt. I enjoyed the whole premise of this story. With the rogue shifters vs pack. I wish it was longer and dove a little deeper into the plot. They only shifted once and I wanted a little more of the shifting aspect 😍 (personal preference) the book is heavy spice which again, was amazing I just wish the plot itself expanded a little more. Overall still an enjoyable, fun, spicy, slightly feral unhinged read! 🖤

This book was amazing!! It gave me DenOf Viper vibes and I was so here for it 😍
The storyline was on point, the men are 🥵 and the spice was spicing 🌶️.

Zeke was my favourite from the very beginning but even though I didn’t like Drake in the beginning he definitely grew on me throughout the book.

I would’ve loved to have learned a bit more about the boys past to fully understand them but considering this book was 90% spice 😉 it still all fit in well together and I’m glad we learned a lot about Amara.

If it were up to be Karma would’ve come at her dad 10x more as he definitely deserved more than he got, what a horrible person he is!! I’m just glad Amara and the boys got their happy ending and oh god what a wholesome ending it was 🥰.

Now do not get me wrong I love a good spicy 🌶️ book. I can handle whatever spices are comes my way however, I need the book to engage me outside of just the spice scenes. There has to be some other storyline that’s keeping me in it and unfortunately this read just did not have that.

Now the spicy scenes, oh my friend, they are spicing the spiciest of spice and well-written. I just needed more outside of that.

I wanted to get to know our FMC a little bit more than we did. 10% into the book she’s now succumbed to these three wolf-men full throttle no holding back just 110% right out the gate

This is not to say that I wouldn’t read another book from either one of these authors, but this one just did not hit the mark for me

“I’ll go gut him and give you his heart as a trophy for breaking your own”

A very spicy, one-handed, why choose, wolf shifter, paranormal romance. It’s exactly what you expect it to be. I have a serious soft spot for wolf shifter romances, and this one scratched the right itch (ifykyk). It’s spicy, full of potential triggers (check before you read), fast-paced, and full of possessive, insta-love, morally grey men. Great for a quick read, especially if you’re like me and needed to break up the fantasy reads for something a little more hot and spicy.

This a spicy paranormal shifter romance and I loved this book! Both authors did an amazing job with this book and the HEA!!

Gotta say that Knox was my favorite unhinged character in this book! All of the guys were great in their own ways. The storyline hooks you in and keeps you hooked, it was a very spicy book iykyk!

I mean who doesn't love a good why-choose, and add in the paranormal/shifter and you have one heck of a book at your fingertips!! Amara has 3 mates not just one!!

This was a great spicy wolf shifter romance. And this one hit the ground running. I loved Amara and the bookstore. I mean, if we’re here reading and leaving these reviews, how can we not love a bookstore? ❤️ Enter the guys. Oh my holy hotness Batman.🥵 these three were so freaking hot. All rogue shifters, and all Amara’s mates. Yes please! I absolutely loved this story. The twists and turns, the spice. There wasn’t anything not to love about this story. Well, there is one. It ended lol. But this is a must read. So glad I got to be a part of this ARC team ❤️

Do you want a wolf shifter why choose spicy book?

This book was an easy read and you just want to finish it all in one sitting!

The FMC, Amara, is the alphas daughter and the owner of a cute little bookstore. She has not had the easiest life she remains a kind and compassionate person.

One night she finds herself in a not so great predicament where 3 delicious men come to her rescue! You will eat these MMCs up!!

Zeke: is the definition of gentlemen in the streets and FREAK in the sheets 🥵

Knox: he is the perfect amount of obsessive, passive and just down right so in love 🩷

Oh and then Drake: he is the asshole you hate to love and love to hate all at the same time.

They all have their own unique personalities and relationships within the book and I love it!

If you love why-choose shifter romances then this is the book for you. Definitely don’t want to miss this one. Amara is a pack wolf and book store owner that finds herself with not one but THREE MATES. Her mates are rogue wolfs, and rogue wolfs and pack wolfs do not typically get along but fated mates don’t care about something as trivial as status. Her alpha father however does very much care about her having three rogue mates. This was such an amazing book. I loved it so much. While Amara is softer, quiet and kind she also has a backbone and learns to stand up for herself more and more as the story unfolds. She has not had the easiest life but she didn’t let it affect her compassion and empathy towards others. And then we get to the mates- ooooh. You are in for a treat. Amara might not have favorites but I do😈 Knox is my man. I would probably die for this man. He is completely unhinged but he loves his little bunny. Definitely 100% recommend this book to allll my whychoose girlies(and guys)

Ooooohhhh, D.V. has done it again with help from Amanda! This book is so good! Why choose, shifters, OTT mmcs and spiiiccyyy. There are so many fun scenes 😏 Drake, Zeke, and Knox are all perfect for Amara each in their own way. Zeke is my favorite ❤️ Amara is a strong FMC and survived a lot in her life. A 10/10 read for me!

Amara is just trying to keep her mother’s little bookshop alive when one night changes everything. A robbery gone wrong brings three strangers crashing into her life… and they turn out to be her fated mates.
This story has everything — enemies to lovers, protective mates and a twisted alpha father stirring up trouble. Two of the mates fall hard instantly, but the third? He nearly breaks her.
The tension, the angst, and the pull of fate kept me hooked the entire time. Because no matter how messy things get, fate doesn’t give up on what’s meant to be. 📚🔥

𝐖𝐨𝐮𝐥𝐝'𝐯𝐞 𝐠𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐧 𝐚 𝐡𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐞𝐫 𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐢𝐟 𝐢𝐭 𝐰𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐧'𝐭 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐃𝐫𝐚𝐤𝐞 (𝐨𝐧𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐌𝐋𝐬).

I'm a bit shocked there's barely any complaints about Drake and I'm even more shocked to know that some people loved him.

In almost every whychoose book, there has to be that one asshole male lead who for some reason hates the FL and is a complete dick. Drake is that character, but I think he's a lot worse than the typical "grumpy" and "mad" trope. His horrible attitude goes WAYYYY past that imo, and I'm shocked no one is really pointing this out.

His attitude alone was enough for me to give this book 3 stars. He was THAT bad in my eyes.

Here's a detailed analysis of what I mean:

#𝟏.) 𝐃𝐫𝐚𝐤𝐞 𝐮𝐬𝐞𝐬 𝐀𝐦𝐚𝐫𝐚 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐬𝐞𝐱 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐜𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐬 𝐡𝐞𝐫 𝐢𝐧𝐬𝐮𝐥𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐧𝐚𝐦𝐞𝐬 𝐥𝐢𝐤𝐞 "𝐞𝐚𝐬𝐲 𝐩𝐮𝐬𝐬𝐲"

This is the 1st thing from Drake that left a bad taste in my mouth. Despite knowing Amara is his mate from the very beginning, "he treats her like a whore" (quote I borrowed from Zeke) and takes advantage of her just for sex. Beyond that, he's closed off mentally, emotionally, and physically. He doesn't want to think about her and he doesn't even want to be near her.

𝘘𝘶𝘰𝘵𝘦 #1: “𝘞𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘫𝘶𝘴𝘵 𝘩𝘢𝘱𝘱𝘦𝘯𝘦𝘥 𝘪𝘴 𝘸𝘦 𝘣𝘢𝘯𝘨𝘦𝘥 𝘴𝘰𝘮𝘦 𝘣𝘪𝘵𝘤𝘩. 𝘛𝘺𝘱𝘪𝘤𝘢𝘭 𝘍𝘳𝘪𝘥𝘢𝘺 𝘯𝘪𝘨𝘩𝘵 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘶𝘴. 𝘕𝘰 𝘤𝘰𝘯𝘷𝘦𝘳𝘴𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯 𝘯𝘦𝘤𝘦𝘴𝘴𝘢𝘳𝘺.”
↳ Calling his mate "some bitch" and treating her as though she's a random fling. And was using the term "bitch" really necessary...? 😐

𝘘𝘶𝘰𝘵𝘦 #2: “𝘊𝘭𝘦𝘢𝘳𝘭𝘺, 𝘴𝘩𝘦'𝘴 𝘦𝘢𝘴𝘺 𝘱𝘶𝘴𝘴𝘺,”
↳ Saying he had sex with his mate because she was "easy pussy"......

𝘘𝘶𝘰𝘵𝘦 #3: "𝘛𝘩𝘦 𝘦𝘯𝘥 𝘰𝘧 𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘳𝘺𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘺 𝘩𝘢𝘥 𝘣𝘶𝘪𝘭𝘵 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘸𝘰𝘳𝘬𝘦𝘥 𝘴𝘰 𝘥𝘢𝘮𝘯 𝘩𝘢𝘳𝘥 𝘧𝘰𝘳. 𝘈𝘭𝘭 𝘰𝘷𝘦𝘳 𝘴𝘰𝘮𝘦 𝘱𝘶𝘴𝘴𝘺. 𝘐𝘵 𝘸𝘢𝘴 𝘨𝘰𝘰𝘥 𝘱𝘶𝘴𝘴𝘺 – 𝘩𝘦 𝘸𝘢𝘴𝘯’𝘵 𝘨𝘰𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘵𝘰 𝘥𝘦𝘯𝘺 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘵 – 𝘣𝘶𝘵 𝘪𝘯 𝘩𝘪𝘴 𝘮𝘪𝘯𝘥, 𝘯𝘰 𝘱𝘶𝘴𝘴𝘺 𝘸𝘢𝘴 𝘸𝘰𝘳𝘵𝘩 𝘭𝘰𝘴𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘳𝘺𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘨."
↳ Once again, referring to Amara aka his fated mate as just "some pussy". As though she's only a piece of flesh used just for sex and has no other value.

What's laughable is that when Zeke (another ml) approaches him saying he treats her like a whore, he has the balls to say "It's not my intention to make her feel that way." You've gotta be kidding me dawg. 🤡

Dude kept labeling her as "some easy pussy", "some bitch", and either storms out after having sex or can't stand being near her if it isn't for sex. Yet, can't own up to the fact that he was treating her like some plaything. 🤦‍♀️

The only thing that made this whole issue a TINY BIT BETTER is that Zeke and Amara herself call him out for treating her this way. Drake needed to get BODIED by Knox (another ml) and Zeke, but at least he was called out more than once. That's better than nothing I guess.....?

#𝟐.) 𝐍𝐨𝐭 𝐭𝐚𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐀𝐦𝐚𝐫𝐚'𝐬 𝐚𝐛𝐮𝐬𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐡𝐨𝐦𝐞 𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐮𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐬𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐨𝐮𝐬𝐥𝐲

After Knox and Zeke get an inkling that Amara's dad might be abusive, a normal mate would get protective and angry at the prospect, right? Well, too bad Dookie Drake isn't a normal mate.

He attempts to dismiss the issue multiple times.

𝘘𝘶𝘰𝘵𝘦 #1: “𝘉𝘶𝘵 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘴 𝘪𝘴 𝘺𝘦𝘵 𝘢𝘯𝘰𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘳 𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘴𝘰𝘯 𝘸𝘩𝘺 𝘸𝘦 𝘴𝘩𝘰𝘶𝘭𝘥𝘯’𝘵 𝘣𝘦 𝘨𝘦𝘵𝘵𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘪𝘯𝘷𝘰𝘭𝘷𝘦 𝘸𝘪𝘵𝘩 𝘩𝘦𝘳. 𝘚𝘩𝘦’𝘴 𝘯𝘰𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘣𝘶𝘵 𝘵𝘳𝘰𝘶𝘣𝘭𝘦, 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘸𝘦’𝘷𝘦 𝘸𝘰𝘳𝘬𝘦𝘥 𝘵𝘰𝘰 𝘩𝘢𝘳𝘥 𝘵𝘰 𝘨𝘦𝘵 𝘵𝘰 𝘸𝘩𝘦𝘳𝘦 𝘸𝘦 𝘢𝘳𝘦 𝘯𝘰𝘸.”
↳ Hears about his mate potentially being abused at home, and all he has to say is that she's trouble and they shouldn't get involved.

𝘘𝘶𝘰𝘵𝘦 #2: “𝘐 𝘸𝘢𝘴 𝘢𝘧𝘳𝘢𝘪𝘥 𝘰𝘧 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘵. 𝘐 𝘨𝘶𝘦𝘴𝘴 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘫𝘶𝘴𝘵 𝘤𝘰𝘯𝘧𝘪𝘳𝘮𝘦𝘥 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘩𝘦’𝘴, 𝘢𝘵 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘷𝘦𝘳𝘺 𝘭𝘦𝘢𝘴𝘵, 𝘷𝘦𝘳𝘣𝘢𝘭𝘭𝘺 𝘢𝘣𝘶𝘴𝘪𝘷𝘦 𝘵𝘰 𝘩𝘦𝘳.” “𝘐 𝘴𝘵𝘪𝘭𝘭 𝘧𝘢𝘪𝘭 𝘵𝘰 𝘴𝘦𝘦 𝘩𝘰𝘸 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘵’𝘴 𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘱𝘳𝘰𝘣𝘭𝘦𝘮,” 𝘋𝘳𝘢𝘬𝘦 𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘮𝘦𝘥 𝘪𝘯 𝘣𝘪𝘵𝘵𝘦𝘳𝘭𝘺. “𝘚𝘩𝘦’𝘴 𝘢 𝘨𝘳𝘰𝘸𝘯-𝘢𝘴𝘴 𝘸𝘰𝘮𝘢𝘯. 𝘚𝘩𝘦 𝘤𝘢𝘯 𝘢𝘭𝘸𝘢𝘺𝘴 𝘭𝘦𝘢𝘷𝘦 𝘪𝘧 𝘴𝘩𝘦 𝘸𝘢𝘯𝘵𝘴 𝘵𝘰, 𝘣𝘶𝘵 𝘴𝘩𝘦’𝘴 𝘤𝘩𝘰𝘰𝘴𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘵𝘰 𝘴𝘵𝘢𝘺.”
↳ This is where I found Dookie Drake to be completely irredeemable. Imagine saying an abused person can up and simply get out of their abusive situation because they're an adult. 🤡

It's really laughable to see him switch up later on in the book, after he's accepted Amara and the mating bond. Man barely cared about her abusive dad early on, but after accepting her and seeing that the dad physically touched her, now he suddenly cares?!

#𝟑.) 𝐀𝐥𝐥𝐨𝐰𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐮𝐦𝐚 𝐭𝐨 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐨𝐥 𝐡𝐢𝐦 𝐭𝐨 𝐦𝐚𝐤𝐞 𝐡𝐢𝐦 𝐚𝐜𝐭 𝐥𝐢𝐤𝐞 𝐚 𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐫𝐢𝐛𝐥𝐞 𝐟𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐝, 𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐞, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐨𝐧 𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐥𝐥

I get that Drake has trauma from his past and I do feel sympathy for him. But that isn't an excuse for him to act like a terrible person.

He wasn't just terrible to Amara, he was also terrible to Knox and Zeke who are like his family. He tried kicking Knox out of the pack just because he wants to be with her and he often dismissed Zeke's thoughts and wants. As though he isn't his own individual.

It extremely bothers me that Drake got to have "time" to think things over at the expense of hurting his soul mate and his close friends.

And the worst part is, there was no groveling involved. He apologizes after a big argument with Amara and finally accepts her, and she forgives him. He deserved to suffer more, honestly.

𝐏𝐬: I don't know how to feel about the sudden pregnancy reveal. I think it's too fast of a development considering one of the male leads wasn't even on board with the FL until past the halfway mark.

I think the cover of this book would certainly attract your eye and attention. I would certainly pick it up from a bookstore shelf to learn more about it. I love the book title too, it fits really well, referring to the rogue shifters as the “damned”

The main character is a curvy red haired female wolf shifter who just happens to be the daughter of Brad Vincent, Alpha of the Cedar Grove Pack. Amara doesn’t have a very good life, she’s quite isolated and most of what she has belongs to the pack and is controlled by her abusive father. The only thing Amara has that belongs to her is the small bookstore, called Between The Cover Book Shop, that used to be her mothers. Whilst locking up one evening Amara is cornered by a drug dealer/addict who wants the takings from the book store. Luckily for Amara just when it seems the man, who we later find out goes by the name Happy seems to be gaining the upper hand a trio of men who co-own and run the nearby bar intervene. Amara instantly scents that they are shifters, just not pack which makes them rogue shifters something her father despises. Amara and the males also realise they are all fated mates.

The three main male characters are Knox, Zeke and Drake. All three men have “pasts” and “history” along with their own quirks.

Knox has long blonde hair and beautiful blue eyes and he is immediately, overtly, explicitly flirtatious with Amara which to be honest she ends up finds amusing. Knox quickly dispatches Happy the drug dealer though he is a little irritated as that now means he will have to find another source to buy his drugs from now! As the book goes on you realise Knox is like an excitable puppy who goes full force for what he wants dealing with any consequences swiftly and lethally if need be as the situation arises.

Zeke is Hispanic with dark brown hair and deep, dark brown eyes, he is more subtle that Knox and comes across as perhaps a quieter more caring person. Zeke is so softly spoken and full of endearments. He is also the one who coaxes Amara to confess how abusive her father is to her and what her life is like.

Drake is the last of the trio, the tallest of them with dark hair and gorgeous green eyes. He is quite cold and stand offish. Drake is the one who holds out the longest, though he will give in to primal urges he doesn’t want the commitment or hassle of a relationship, despite Knox and Zeke developing their relationships with Amara.

All three men have piercings and lots of tattoos. Despite them being rogue shifters Amara can’t help finding herself attracted to them. It is mostly Knox and Zeke that pursue Amara over the next days with Drake holding back and kind of skulking and sulking about! All three men are endearing in their own ways and it would be difficult t to choose favourite. I loved the endearments that Zeke lavished on Amara when talking to her. I found Knox so funny and excitable and full of mischief. Even Drake though initially coming across quite cold and difficult had some great qualities

Amara knows she is treading a dangerous line having anything at all to do with shifters not from her own pack let alone three rogue shifters. When she is late home and late for the never-ending list of chores her father gives her, it’s not long before he literally smells that unknown males have been around her and calls her all the names under the sun and warns her to get on with her chores. Despite her reservations and attempts to end what is going on it develops further and becomes more serious with Amara deciding to leave the pack to be with Knox, Zeke and possibly Drake.
Amara decides she needs to see her father alone and tell him she is leaving and why. However after a late-night session with her three new loves she sleeps in and is late for a pack meeting. Brad can smell all three rogue shifters on Amara and threatens to kill them then gives her a severe beating. When Knox, Zeke and Drake see the state of Amara they are rightly so, fuming about what has happened to their mate, but it seems Brad has only just begun his onslaught, first causing trouble at the bar and then at the book store.

I adored the character of Amara the way she wanted to do the right thing by everyone and keep everyone safe. Even prepared to break her own heart if it meant keeping those she loved safe. I can identify with how Amara was abused, though mine was not by a parent it was a husband but it’s a feeling that doesn’t go away. Amara really was leading a double life at times, she had her miserable pack life, the only life she had ever known, wanting to escape but fearing the big step into the unknown. Then having a chance at happiness with not one but three men! A life where she is loved and appreciated and treasured. Yet still having her Alpha father hovering menacingly in the background.

My immediate thoughts upon finishing Claimed By The Damned were Great Shifter romance! I loved it!

Summing up this book certainly has its fair share of explicit scenes which despite me not really reading this “type” of thing because it was all part of an amazing plot with such intriguing, interesting characters. I enjoyed the plot and was happy with the ending. To be honest I would have loved this to be part of a series.

My Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Amara is just trying to live her life and make the most out of it despite being the daughter of the Alpha. She works in the bookstore that her mother used to own. Her mother "left" it to her when she left not only Amara's father, Ben, but the pack to be with her fated mate. Amara did her best to stay out of her abusive father's sight. Little did she know that fate had other plans for her.

Knox is the gives zero f***s and will cause pain out of sheer delight. Raised as a rogue shapeshifter from birth, life was never a picnic; he just learned to roll with the punches.

Zeke is the suave, gentle, and charismatic rogue with a sultry smile and a Spanish accent to bring a girl to their knees. He chose the path of much resistance, especially since he decided to leave his pack for his best friend, Drake. Not once has he regretted his decision.

With the murder of his mother at his father's hands, Drake decided that loyalty to himself was more important than loyalty to a tyrannical father. He never asked Zeke to leave the pack, but has gone through less alone with him by his side.

Never in a million years did any of them expect to find love and happiness, let alone their fated mate. Amara never thought she would be allowed to be with anyone because of her father's abusiveness, but to find out she is fated to three rogues, she knew her life was about to change, and she wasn't sure if it was for the better or if she should walk away.

**Possible Spoilers**

First off, I want to thank the gracious DV Fischer & Amanda K. Mann for allowing me to read this delightful and tantalizing story! I love a reverse harem, why choose, and getting more into shifter territory, this was a nice little slice! What I wish this book had more of was a bit more fleshing out of Amara's father, more from the guys rather than what I felt was surface, and maybe a bit of how Amara's former pack took the news of her father's death. Maybe a second book to go into it? I'd read it!

I am getting more into shifter romances, and this one did not disappoint. I love that I didn't have to wait long for them to meet. I love how Knox was right away on Amara and wouldn't stop, about to have his way with her right then and there. The battle Drake had about the bond was well done, but I wish when he was apologizing to Amara, he had gone more into it. I was so happy that Amara gave him shit about it, and didn't just roll over and say okay, all is forgiven! I was very proud of her.

This is the first book I have read where there was a pregnancy, and I loved it! The hard-ass Knox going all baby fever was so perfect because I have seen guys like him react exactly how Knox reacted! It was too cute!!

Overall, this book was well done! There was plenty of banter, trauma bonding, and more real-life feelings when dealing not only with a relationship, but a pregnancy. I am definitely a fan and will be seeking out more books by both of these lovely authors.

Happy reading📚

‘Claimed By the Damned’ is a magnificent dark romance written by DV Fischer and Amanda K Mann. From phenomenal characters to an attention seizing plot, this standalone novel has everything a dark romance girly could want when needing a lighter read on the dark side. So, take a seat and prepare yourself to shift into the story of Knox, Zeke, Drake, and Amara. Amara is stuck in survival mode, constantly avoiding her abusive father; the alpha, as well as the pack itself. Then one night she finds herself being saved by three rogues in a back alley. These rogues just so happen to be her mates, and her life is completely tipped upside down. She knows she should stay away, it is safer for everyone, but the pull is irresistible. Amara knows if her father were to find out there would be some serious ramifications, and the guys can protect themselves, but can they protect her too?
If you love the rambunctious, bad boys who have a knack for violence than this book is for you… but if you love the sweet, romantic with a kinky side, well that’s in here too. Let’s not forget the tortured soul, whose past still dictates his life and has him held in the chokehold of denial. Not to mention the FMC Amara is a curvy book lover. Add on the abuse she’s survived and a chunk of the dark romance beauties are easily able to relate. Not only are these characters a perfect little puzzle pieced together with all their flaws being beautifully displayed; this novel has all the feels too! From scenes that will have you laughing so hard you’ll start crying- “Do you want to hold my hand while we skip down the yellow brick road?”- to ones that will have you looking at life a little differently- “What’s life if not a series of risks? I can’t let my past dictate my future anymore; that’s no way to live. I can’t let it decide whether or not I get to be happy. The only one who can decide that is me”- these two authors truly know how to include the whole spectrum of emotions in their work!
This is an amazing read through and through and I can’t wait to dive into more of these lovely ladies stories! I’m so grateful to have had the opportunity to arc read this astonishing novel, and it will forever hold a piece of my heart. Its definitely a novel I’ll be reading again, and I can’t wait to see what all of my friends reactions are once I get them to read this phenomenal book. There are so many wonderful empowering messages in these pages and I really hope that people take the time to dive into them. Thank you so much Amanda K Mann and DV Fischer for not only creating this wonderful world, but also conveying important and powerful messages in such a relatable yet still fictionally magnificent way.

Claimed by the Damned, it's a co-authored harem reversed paranormal romance, with lots of 🌶️ from the get go, emotions running on high and morally grey characters, with tropes as fated mates, shifters, touch her and you ☠️

It approaches sensitive topics/triggers, such as physical and verbal abuse and drug addiction.

I would've enjoyed more pages, so that I could see more of the world building and characters evolution from traumas of the past into the people they became.

If you're expecting multiple changes, the characters only shift once. The plot is mainly focused on their fated mate bond and struggles they had to face in order to stay together.

Overall I enjoyed the plot, got a bit irritated at times towards Amara's reactions - which are somewhat understandable considering the abuse she suffered-, and I enjoyed the three male main characters: Drake, Zeke and Knox.

Drake is an ice cold bucket, grumpy, dude most of the book, until he finally lets go and embraces the future.

Zeke is a skilled seductive player with Amara, yet he maintains his cool, trying to be a gentleman till she os ready to accept their situation.

Knox is a wild card, unhinged, always extreme, highly seductive and possessive.

The three had a bar close to Amara's bookstore and when she was a victim of a robbery at night, the three felt the need to protect her.

Realising they were fated mates was not easy on Amara or Drake, yet Knox and Zeke were ready from the moment they laid eyes on her and felt the pull.

Amara, had her reasons to fight their bond, one of them, her abusive father, the pack's Alpha, the other, the fact that her mates were rogues.

Her father loathed rogues and used his minions/enforcers to show off his power to whomever he wished to.

Despite all threats, troubles and sometimes doubts, the quartet fought for their bond and for their found family.

This book was an ARC provided by the authors and BookBub. Thank you for allowing me to read your story 🙏🏽

This is my honest, voluntary review.

Paranormal Romance
Wolf shifters

Amara, our FMC is a wolf shifter, bookstore owner and daughter of her pack's abusive alpha. She turns out to be fated to not only one rogue shifter outside of her pack but three!!! Which is not only unheard of but highly forbidden with extreme consequences that you will later find out about.
Our MMC'S are all best friends who share a bar, an apartment together and apparently mates.
Knox is by far my favorite mate. He is impulsive, playful and seductive but has a bit of a drug problem.
Zeke is every girls Mr. Right with his smooth and comforting words and amazing cooking skills. I don't think he got enough credit in the story.
And lastly there is Drake, he doesn't fall for his destined mate immediately and actually does everything in his power to get rid of her but when he does fall for her, he is over the moon. In the meantime, there is plenty of banter and sexual frustration. I love that you get to experience everyone's point of view which I was worried would be complicated but surprisingly wasn't.
Per DV' s usual M.O, she does not wait long to hook you into the story and by chapter 6, she kept to her word with the spice level. "Her vibrator was going to have to put in a lot of work when she got home that night!"
I liked that the story stayed primarily in urban fantasy with few shifter themes and transformations. Amanda and DV did well highlighting the wolf-like abilities while the characters were In human form.
I will say the ending was honestly not enough for me. I thought it ended too quickly. I found myself wanting more closure from the father and daughter relationship. It felt unfinished. That, and I was secretly praying Knox would have served his head on a spike.
Overall this was a great read and as always I appreciate the ability to ARC for this author who not only writes amazing stories but she really is an amazing person to meet and work with.
Amanda is a new to me author but she is starting to become one to follow.

I received an advance copy of this book from the author. This review reflects my honest opinion.

This was an enjoyable read, but it didn’t fully live up to its potential for me.

It’s not your typical shifter story, leaning more into grounded, human interaction rather than stronger supernatural elements. While that gives the story a slightly different tone, I did find myself missing some of the more classic shifter dynamics — though that is very much a personal preference and not necessarily a flaw in the book itself.

What really carried this book for me was the character dynamics. The MMCs are chaotic in the best possible way, and their personalities play off each other so well. Knox is adorably unhinged (he actually reminded me a bit of Knox from The Saint View Murder Squad), Zeke brings that calm, steady energy, and Drake delivers the broody, dominant vibe — even if he took a little time to grow on me. Together, they create such an entertaining and engaging dynamic.

Amara’s storyline had a lot of promise, especially given her background and position, but I found myself wanting more from her development. There were moments where her potential — particularly in relation to her role and possibilities within her pack — felt underutilized, and I would have liked to see that explored further.

In general, I felt the plot could have been developed further. Some storylines resolved a bit too quickly, while others felt like they were building toward something bigger that never fully unfolded. I kept wanting just a bit more depth and payoff.

That said, the book delivers well within the genre. It’s a strong why-choose romance with fated mates, instant attraction, and plenty of spice. The intimate scenes are detailed without crossing into darker or more disturbing territory, and they fit naturally into the story.

Overall, this was an entertaining why-choose romance with strong character dynamics, but it didn’t fully live up to its potential for me. I was left wanting more depth and development in both the plot and Amara’s character arc.

4.5 Stars

Shifter romances have a special place in my heart, especially ones that includes dark pack politics and really horrible family that makes you want all the good things for the FMC. This is a book that starts from the very beginning with the intense feelings for the FMC. You can’t help but want to take her away from her father yourself. This is not a super plot heavy book and is definitely there for the lovers of spicy, spicy stories. There isn’t a large amount of dealing with them in their wolf form so even though it is a shifter book, it won’t be too much for those that aren’t big fan of the trope. A lot of books like this have the rogues as the bad guys. I mean why wouldn’t you want to be part of the pack? But this is a book where the pack are the ones that have abused and mistreated our FMC and the rogues are the saviors.

Your heart can’t help but ache for Amara at the start of this book. She has an abusive father, who is pack Alpha, and she does whatever she can to keep out of his crosshairs. She owns a bookstore that was her mother’s and prefers to run it herself. She ends up encountering her mates and it’s an immediate connection. Two of the three jump completely in, feet first. They are all different and completely chaotic, but they all care for Amara and have a strong desire to keep her safe. Zeke and Knox follow their desire completely. But Drake is our typical MMC that drags his feet because he can think about what can go wrong and not what feels right. But all three of Amara’s mates are exactly what she deserves after growing up under her father’s rule.

This book is not what I typically read, but it gave me a dark, spicy book packed with shifters and pack politics. I loved that these three rogues swept in to save her from a “family” that treated her so poorly. And when I say this book is spicy, it is extremely spicy. There is no concern about a slow burn in this book because the connection between the four is so powerful.

If you’re a fan of why-choose shifter romances, you’ll definitely want to check out *Claimed By the Damned* by DV Fischer and Amanda K Mann. This captivating dark romance follows Amara, a pack wolf and bookstore owner who unexpectedly finds herself with three rogue mates. Normally, rogue wolves and pack wolves don’t get along, but when it comes to fated mates, status doesn’t matter. Amara’s alpha father, however, is not thrilled about her being involved with rogue wolves.

The book is a fantastic read! Amara is a mix of gentle and resilient. Despite her tough past, she remains compassionate and learns to assert herself more as the story unfolds. The mates—Knox, Zeke, and Drake—bring their own unique flavors to the story, but Knox is my standout favorite. His intense and unpredictable nature, paired with his deep affection for Amara, makes him unforgettable.

*Claimed By the Damned* offers a great balance of dark themes and romance, with some spicy moments and a touch of kink. Amara is a curvy book lover who has survived significant trauma, making her journey all the more relatable. The book does an excellent job of blending humor with heartfelt moments. You'll find yourself laughing at lines like, “Do you want to hold my hand while we skip down the yellow brick road?” and pondering deep quotes like, “What’s life if not a series of risks? I can’t let my past dictate my future anymore.”

Overall, this novel is an incredible read with powerful messages and emotional depth. I’m excited to see how others react to it and am grateful for the opportunity to read it in advance. Huge thanks to Amanda K Mann and DV Fischer for creating such a memorable and impactful story.

Claimed by the Damned is a reverse‑harem wolf‑shifter romance told in a tight third‑person limited style, following Amara—a pack wolf whose life has been shaped by neglect, abuse, and an Alpha father who resents her existence. She’s isolated, vulnerable, and aching for connection, which makes her eventual bond with her three fated mates all the more compelling.

Knox, Zeke, and Drake enter her life in a dramatic, life‑saving moment. Their rogue status adds tension, but the emotional pull between them is immediate. Knox, neurodivergent and raised outside pack structure, is intensely attached to Amara from the start. Zeke brings warmth and charm, slipping into Spanish endearments that hit Amara right in the chest. Drake is the slow burn—guarded, wounded, and reluctant until he finally lets himself fall, and when he does, it’s with full force.

Although this is a wolf‑shifter story, the supernatural elements feel more like a backdrop than a driving force. Aside from the fated‑mates bond and one brief shift scene, the plot could almost unfold in a non‑paranormal setting. The wolf aspect isn’t deeply woven into the worldbuilding, but the emotional dynamics between the characters more than make up for it.

What really shines is the connection between Amara and her mates—especially the way she grounds Knox and finds safety in their presence. The chemistry is strong, the spice is plentiful, and the ending delivers a satisfying HEA.

A solid, enjoyable RH romance with heartfelt bonds and plenty of heat, even if the wolf elements feel more decorative than essential.
