• 𝐒𝐢𝐝𝐝𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐡 𝐒𝐞𝐧'𝐬 "𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐌𝐚𝐧𝐨𝐫: 𝐀 𝐇𝐨𝐫𝐫𝐨𝐫 𝐌𝐲𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐲: 𝐈𝐟 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐃𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐧 𝐑𝐞𝐚𝐝" is an 𝐞𝐱𝐜𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐡𝐨𝐫𝐫𝐨𝐫 𝐧𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐥. I adore this one the most because it is the shortest. Realizing and experiencing this plot is incredible. ☕

• I have seen 𝐑𝐚𝐣 and 𝐊𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐡𝐦𝐚, and I find these two to be 𝐚𝐦𝐢𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐞 𝐢𝐧𝐝𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐝𝐮𝐚𝐥𝐬. I decided to give this book a try because I truly adore horror stories. Everything we need is in the layers. Screaming is possible during the climax, turns, and turning pages. 🍂

• This is wealthy. Therefore, the plot and the characters are not 𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐡𝐚𝐝𝐨𝐰𝐞𝐝 by 𝐫𝐢𝐜𝐡𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬. That is the main idea, too. I strongly recommend reading this book because of the attention it captures along the way, which is truly remarkable. With 𝐬𝐞𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐭𝐲 and 𝐩𝐮𝐧𝐜𝐭𝐮𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲, the author makes her point. 🦋

• From the beginning to the end, the final pages provide justification. Naturally, I think the book is fantastic! You can fall in love with the book just by turning the pages—the 𝐩𝐢𝐜𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐪𝐮𝐞, 𝐝𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐦𝐲 𝐰𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 is enough. The unexpected within the anticipated! 🍷

The Haunted Manor of Amtya invites readers into a dark, spine-chilling journey where every turn holds an eerie secret. In this thriller, Raj and Karishma find themselves entangled in a web of fate and danger, navigating a world where each choice may tip the balance between life and death.

Set in the remote and hauntingly mysterious village of Amtya, the story's atmosphere is deeply immersive. The author skillfully crafts an environment drenched in perpetual mist, an ancient manor looming with secrets, and a presence that feels almost alive. The manor itself is a character—a foreboding entity that seems to pulsate with darkness, feeding off the fears of those brave (or foolish) enough to enter. The eerie setting and cryptic symbols etched into its walls paint a vivid picture of a place both fascinating and terrifying, as if it’s somehow beyond our world.

The plot does an excellent job of building suspense around the theme of fate versus free will, drawing readers into a thought-provoking exploration of "luck" versus supernatural intervention. Raj and Karishma’s story seems like an uncanny twist of destiny, and readers are kept guessing: is it mere coincidence, or is something far more sinister at play? This question resonates as they uncover the manor's secrets, bringing forth reflections on the eternal conflict between good and evil.

Characterization is strong, with Raj and Karishma both relatable in their curiosity and vulnerability. While their personalities contrast, it’s their combined dynamic that pulls readers through the twists and turns of the story. However, while they are relatable, their reactions to the unfolding horrors can sometimes feel overly cautious, as though the true weight of the manor’s sinister power doesn't fully sink in. Despite this, their growth through fear and revelation feels genuine.

The novel's pacing is overall solid, though at times it leans heavily on atmospheric description, slowing the plot slightly. Some readers might find these segments richly descriptive, while others may feel it detracts from the action. Still, the narrative tension remains gripping, with each chapter edging closer to the ultimate revelation about the manor and the choices Raj and Karishma must confront.

If you enjoy supernatural thrillers that blend psychological horror with philosophical undertones, *The Haunted Manor of Amtya* is well worth the read. It’s more than just a haunted house story—it’s an exploration of fear, destiny, and the shadows lurking within and around us. Pick up this book if you dare, but be warned: you may find yourself questioning the thin line between luck and intervention, good and evil, long after you’ve turned the last page.

One day, you suddenly find that your distant relative has left an expensive property for you, and you are the owner of it. You are too happy to realize the sudden change and decide to venture into the property. Once you reach the destination, you realize that it's no doubt it's huge, but it's scary and haunted. You start experiencing things that don't exist or that existed in the previous century. Now you want to run back to your peaceful life, but the walls are closing on you, and there is no looking back. What will be your reaction?? You are trapped in it and you are losing to it very fast. There is no way to get out of this, and your only hope is willpower to find the hidden secret and to survive.

Raj and Karishma are in the same situation when they receive the gift from Uncle Amit. They entered the property and now there is no going back. They found a diary that had answers to many questions but where is the way? How can they free themselves from this haunted place? Why did the manor choose Raj and Karishma and what future do they hold?

It's a scary tale of greed, guilt, and desires. Where the author has shown his skills to wave a story with a short read but with an excellent end. It's damn scary and the place gave me an unnerving feeling. The story has many twists and turns but the alarming feelings remain constant with you. I enjoyed this read thoroughly and hope you enjoy it too.

The Manor is a horror fiction book by Siddharth Sen. Every corner of the book screams dark and scary aura. After a long time I read horror book.personally this genre intrigues me and love this type. So from very first I was exited. And this book stands in my expectation very well. Author Siddharth has written this book in a gripping manner. Love the way story is build up.
Raj and Karishma are protagonists of this book.Raj inherited a large mansion from his uncle and to explore that property he and his wife went to Amtya village, in Kochi. And whole incident started from there. The manor description gives really creepy and scary vibe every time. Old red diary, map buring by itself are elements that will scare you to the heart.

What you feel if you going somewhere in lone nights of kochi and roads are keep changing and you feel like lost ❓💀 horrific and scary right??Raj and Karishma also faced same. Trapped in mirror, longing to get out, cycle of trapping are all present in that old manor. The book has twists and it will give you scary vibe every moment often. The ending is really amazing..I like that part.
I really love this book. If you are a fan of horror books, thrillers give it a try.In it's short lenth the book has grabbed my attention. To know about what happened to Raj and Karishma in the end,and to know the mystery of manor dive into this book.

This is a short horror story which will make you sit on the edge of your seat for its entirety.

This is Raj and Karishma’s story who are excited to receive a big mansion as inheritance from their uncle. They are impressed by the mansion and are ready to explore it and unveil its secrets but their excitement is short lived and turns their lives upside down.

The best part of the story is that it does not waste much time on the build up and dives right into the main plot. Though some questions are left unanswered , the events of the story and the palpable suspense will keep the reader hooked to the end. The paranormal part of the story is described eerily which will raise goosebumps. The ending of the story is unexpected and satisfying. Using various elements of the genre , the author has created a short but impressive story. The vivid narration makes the story impressionable and keeps the reader curious.

The story is accompanied with illustrations which will aid the imagination of the reader and helps the reader engage even more with the story.

This story can be easily completed in one sitting and will surely give the reader all the creeps. This can be read easily by those who want to venture into the genre but cannot read a whole novel yet.

The Manor by Siddharth Sen is a gripping horror mystery that keeps you hooked till the end. Combining mystery and horror, the author has woven an incredibly engaging story.

The story revolves around Raj and Karishma who inherit an old mansion in a remote village. Overjoyed by the news, they soon reach the mansion to explore it. As they begin exploring it, they begin to unveil its secrets and realise that the mansion is not any ordinary mansion but it is hiding many dark secrets. Will Raj & Karishma able to overcome the evil?

The story is a short read but keeps you engaged with it’s many twists and thrills. From the first page itself, the book immerses into creepy atmosphere of the house. The haunting vibe with the palpable dread builds slowly as the books unfolds the terrifying truth about the house. The climax though feels rushed and I was hoping for the story to continue a bit longer.

The characters are well crafted for a short story and the author is able to evoke dread with his fabulous narration. The world building is excellent and the story despite it’s short length packs quite a punch.

Overall "The Manor" is a gripping mystery with a perfect blend of horror and mystery. A great read for horror fans.

How will you feel when you are gifted (by some estranged relative) a beautiful manor?
You will be surprised but super happy. You will thankfully accept it.

This is a normal reaction, but this story will make you reconsider your answer.

In this story, a lovely couple is gifted a beautiful mansion on the land of Lucifer (Kerala). Raj and Karishma plan to drive to their manor in the tranquil confines of a forgotten village, Amtya. Karishma just loves the manor and is attracted to its nostalgic charm. Raj also likes the villa, but...

What is the power of the old manor, and why does it disturb Raj?

Kerala is a land of nature and magic; this dark tale beautifully connects the reader to the land's magic. The author has perfectly narrated the creepy power of the mirror slammer. Actually, I don’t believe a poet who touched my heart with his soulful poems can scare me. I should not have read this novella after midnight.

I haven't read horror books for a really long time and at first I wasn't sure about this one but still I gave it a try and oh my god, I really regret not getting started with this one early.

Basically, the story happens in this tiny village called Amtya. The way the place is described in this book is something which made a mood reader like me to get stuck with this book. I couldn't stop reading, I literally finished the whole book in a single night, yes! Night and yes, i couldn't sleep for next two days 🤣 but yes, the sleep was worth the sacrifice.

Coming to the male and female protagonist of this book, Raj and Karishma. These two characters have been so well written. Both of them got enough screen space without one overlapping the other and it's something really amazing.

The writing style was good as well. You will be so much engaged with the story that you literally feel like you are in it. The suspense, the story telling! Everything is top notch.

"The Manor: A Horror Mystery" by Siddharth Sen is a gripping suspense thriller that leads the reader steadily through suspense, keeping horror elements in their proper place to further enhance the eeriness of the atmosphere. Manor is another gothic novel which is swift-paced and chilling.Having added all the elements of a fine appeasing gothic novel, it definitely sends shiver down our spine. An old estranged mansion, darkness, library, books, searing images and purring cat-all of these are the usual things we see in a horror novel. However, readers are attracted to every new horror novel for its sheer mystery and suspense. Here also, the Manor holds a past mysterious tale and awaits to be unveiled by a new visitor. The place is haunted and malevolently devours the mortal beings, making it an endless eerie tale.

I grew much fascinated towards this because of the reason that the place where it happens is my native land. It scary and hilarious as well to know that such haunted mansions still exists in Kochi!!!

One of the strengths of the book lies in its descriptive language, painting the manor not just as a setting, but as a character in its own right. The creaking floorboards, shadowed halls, and inexplicable cold spots evoke an air of dread that permeates each page. This is a place that seems almost sentient, feeding off the fear of those within its grasp.

Sen also weaves together a mystery that challenges readers to piece together clues alongside the characters. This adds an interactive element that enhances engagement. However, there are moments when the pacing can become uneven; the buildup is rich in detail, which, while immersive, may slow down the momentum at times. Some readers might appreciate this meticulous approach to setting the scene, while others could feel it detracts from the plot’s urgency.

Thematically, the book explores the nature of fear—both real and imagined—and the idea of facing inner demons as well as external threats. The story does an admirable job balancing supernatural horror with psychological elements, keeping readers guessing whether the danger is truly paranormal or the result of human machinations.

Sidharth Sen's The Manor: A Horror Mystery is recommended for fans of atmospheric horror that leans on mystery and psychological tension. If you enjoy a slow-burn narrative filled with eerie details, this book will captivate you, but be prepared to navigate the detailed prose that builds up the haunting ambiance. Enter The Manor if you dare, but be warned: the secrets it holds may haunt you long after you’ve finished the final chapter.

As a first time horror reader, this one perfectly managed to creep me out. Anyways, I have to say it builds up to a perfectly crafted spine chilling story.
The Manor is a story of a young couple Raj and Karishma driving their manor in the confines of a secluded village Amtya in Kerala, the land of magic and nature.
Gradually, the peculiarity of the manor builds and atmosphere of mystery and suspense that continues till the last page. The eeriness blended with curiosity give a multi-layered character to the story. Believe me, you are not ready for the climax. Also, the highlight of the book is it's illustrations which skillfully make the read all the more interesting

Raj, the protagonist's behaviour and actions draw the readers towards him and the readers are transported into a different world. I was fascinated to enter into this creepy world and as long as I was engrossed in it, I couldn't really feel that there is a reality too. Suddenly I was jolted back into reality after reading the last chapter of the book . Some moments were really spine chilling and thus evoked certain feelings which are still lingering in my mind.It has a profound effect upon me.Overall, a very interesting read.
