HOLY FORKING SHIRT BALLS BATMAN! Seriously fell in love with this series instantly. Lennie is absolutely fucking hilarious and I love everything about her. She honestly kills me and I love her snark and sass and I am also amazed at her growth from book 1-3.

Oh Lennie’s boys are absolutely amazing and I am a little feral for them both. They are complete opposites but they are both fiercely protective of their girl. This book had so much action and drama and heartbreak, I could not put it down. The spice was lower in this book than the others (which is not a bad thing btw) but man, so much happened in it.

Seriously loved this book and the series! Fell in love with the plot, the vibes, the descriptions, the landscapes, and the characters. Pure magic!

What an action packed story! So many twists and turns! I was on the edge of my seat. Once again, the setting for this series swept me away. So dreamy.

The character! Man they go through the wringer in this story. Through it all, Espen was Espening- sweet golden retriever forest fae. Oyvin was Oyvining- my favorite grumpy fjord fae. Lennie was classic Lennie- but also so much character growth for her. And all the side characters?! Human and fae, all the best.

Thank you to the author for the chance to review an advance copy!

"Another day, another threat. What had my life become?? One second, I was a human tourist who had missed her cruise ship, the next I was a demi-fae promoted to Deputy Head Guard within a secret society of fae in the fjords of Norway."

*A huge thank you to Elle for allowing me to read an ARC of The Fae of the Fjell. All thoughts and comments are my own.*

The Fae of the Fjell is book three in The Nordic Fae series. This is a contemporary fantasy MFM romance series set in Norway. It does need to be read in order, so be sure to start with The Fae of the Fjord.

All Lennie wants to do is get married, and start her life with her fae partners, Espen and Oyvin. Too bad fate and a power hungry Fire Fae King have other plans. The Fae of the Fjell is the perfect conclusion to the Nordic Fae series! It has swoon worthy romance, so many laughs, epic battles, political intrigue, heartbreak, a perfectly menacing villain, and have I mentioned laughs? If you know Lennie, you know you're in for lots of banter and smart-alecky retorts.

I love how much Lennie's confidence has grown through these stories. In herself, her abilities, her capacity for love and community. The relationships between Lennie, Oyvin, and Espen are also fantastically developed, and we really see how important the guys' friendship is in this story. Halvar has incredible moments in this story, and it makes me even more excited for his prequel story, which is in the works!

You know my love for side characters, and my dude Oddvar came to shine in this one. I like to think that Elle gave him so much love because of me, but really it's because he's a sweet curmudgeon that perfectly balances out Lennie's chaos. There are so many great nods to running jokes throughout the series. This book made me both tear up and laugh out loud. Elle joins only a few authors to have made me cry on public transit. Congrats, Elle!

I love this story, and I love this series!! The Fae of the Fjell will release on August 1st!

The Nordic Fae series is available on KU, ebook, physical copies at the usual places. You can also order signed copies from Elle's website.

"You have my word, my heart, my everything."

"What are you stress baking? Is it bread week? Is Paul Hollywood downstairs waiting to taste test your bake?"

"You do have a way with words."
"I'm a walking, talking dictionary of profanity."

"Can we just set Halvar on her? Watch the big buy slice and dice her into bite-size pieces?"

"No more nice Lennie. No more quippy little remarks."

“We protect the Fae,” I added. “Whatever it takes.”

THIS SERIES 😭 I can’t believe it’s over. Elle was one of the first authors that I ARC read for, and she has always been the absolute sweetest. Not to mention I’m completely obsessed with this series and this finale was everything I wanted!!

Lennie is hilarious as always, she’s just even more of a badass now! I’ve grown so attached to her sass and idgaf attitude, and I love that she really gets to show that off while also being the protective leader she’s grown to be.

Espen and Øyvin have my heart forever. They’re the best grumpy/sunshine MMCs you could ever ask for, and they BOTH made me tear up with how much they love Lennie.

This book was action packed from start to finish. The stakes were so high! I was stressed for a good portion of this book, but it really showed the strengths and bonds of everyone in the village.

I definitely got emotional a few times. I love this story and these characters so much, and this was the perfect ending.

If you haven’t started this series yet and want to go for an emotional, hilarious, and epic ride, read this series!!

Thank you forever to Elle for being the best and sending me a copy for an honest review. 💖

I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

Lennie ties herself to her fae loves for good but all of the excitement is short lived. The King of the Fire Fae is causing upset while he tries to encroach on Skolvik. The trio bands together once more to save everything they care about.

The Fae of the Fjell is the final book in The Nordic Fae series. These books are not stand-alones. I highly recommend reading them in order. This book does contain open-door content.

Back to the Fjord and everything looks like it’s going smoothly…until it’s not. The Fae of the Fjell has the most action out of the rest of the books in the series. Lennie has had so much personal growth since book one. I’m not sure if she’s been a good influence on her Fae or if they’ve been a good influence on her. The three really do balance out each other. I didn’t think there would be too many surprises as this is the last book in the series but I was wrong.

This series has been a wild ride since the very beginning but I’ve enjoyed every second of it. I’m sad to see it come to an end but what a way to finish out. I can’t wait to see what Elle Thrasher has next for her readers.

What an epic conclusion to this trilogy! After the ending of book two, I knew some big things would be happening but man, was this a wild ride! Lennie and her men don’t even know what’s about to hit them when the fourth faction, particularly the fire far king, crashes their wedding. And it’s all down hill from there!

I particularly enjoyed watching Lennie grow into her role in a position of power. She battles with true anxiety and guilt, aware of the destruction her powers can bring but the necessity of them to keep her people safe. I also loved watching her relationship with Espen and Oyvin and how it’s changed over the series. They work together like perfectly fitting pieces to a puzzle, each strengths helping support the other’s weaknesses.

With a few twists thrown in (hello, Jormungandr), some major heartbreak, and the epic finally to a conflict building for centuries, I couldn’t be more pleased with how the author wrapped up this series!!

Also, the epilogue. Oh the epilogue! Made me smile to hard !

✨ My Thoughts ✨
This series has my whole heart. This book was the epic conclusion I definitely needed. My heart was racing without the entire book. This book was also full of sweet and funny moments too. I just truly loved being in this world and being with the characters. I loved the found family too. I love Leenie so much. I love her sassy attitude and her great jokes. I also have loved seeing her grow from book 1 as well. Our MMCs are just a dream and protective. The ending was truly bittersweet. I didn't want the series to be over but I was excited to see the HEA. If you want a series with Nordic vibes and adventure then this series is for you.

The Fae of the Fjell is book 3 in The Nordic Fae series. I definitely recommend reading them in order. This book is recommended for 18+. As always please check TW before reading. This book and series is out now. They are all available on KU.

✨ I want to thank Elle for this e-arc of this book. These are my own true thoughts. ✨

The Fae of the Fjell
"Fuck if I knew what a kilometer was"

Yeah, I felt that sentence and laughed out loud. I dunno, the thing is far away. Being able to judge distance by sight is a skill I do not poses.

A really more action heavy book than I thought. I don't know what I was getting myself into. But there is a lot going on in this finally to the series. A lot less time for yoga, photography, and fun and a lot more action and drama.

The friends and family and relationships have seeped there way into all the different communities. Putting down roots means being vulnerable and caring for someone and someplace with all your soul.

Halvar gets drama and backstory and I can't say anything else but he's just got the tiniest soft spot under all that rubble and it might involve a hat.

We're back with my favourite threesome and just in time for Lennie's wedding. But Lennie wouldn't be Lennie without her usual brand of chaos, even if it's not her fault when an unbidden guest arrives at the ceremony. And what was that about vows and speeches again?

I. Love. This. Series. It comes with so much heart, action, twists and turns and woven through all of that is Lennie's amazing, unique sense of humour, which had me cackling even in the direst of times during her amazing journey.

If you like your fantasy heroins a bit unconventional, don't want to choose between a grumpy and sunshine MMC, would like to fall in love with a Norwegian small town, if found family and loads of banter and humour are your thing, then what are you waiting for?! Start the series with "The Fae of the Fjord" asap!!

It’s been an honor to be an ARC reader for all of this series. I’m sad it’s over, but what a ride! Elle, you took me on a JOURNEY. Your way with words touches my heart and makes me laugh. You created characters that I think of on a pretty regular basis and that says something. This series will always have a place in my heart and if you haven’t read it yet, please do!!

Read this if you like:

“But one thing was certain, Halvar wasn’t used to painting with oils or watercolors. No, the beast from the mountain, with his assured actions and immense strength, had a history of painting with blood.”

“You haven’t changed. You’ve grown.”

“Wherever we went, though, we’d go together. Our little trio. Our little family. The one I’d found in the most unlikely of places.”

Here we are at the final book of Lennie and her guys.
This book brings us to Lennie and Espen's wedding day presided over by Oyvin. She has been in Skolvik happily finding love and learning her magic, making friends and learning to take care of the land she has fallen in love with.
A new threat has appeared in the form of the fire fae King. He is causing serious trouble and wants to take over as ruler of all the fae.
This is an easy read with a fun story. It is so far a 4 book series.
There is some high spice with a why choose theme. It has a good amount of world building and speaks to the beauty of the fjords of Norway.

Thank you so much for allowing me to read this as an ARC and sorry for the late review!

I love this series and I’m a little sad to see it end. The final book was full of action at every turn. It was stressful to read worrying about the characters and all their friends. (Too much death! 😂).

I think their relationship took a back burner to the plot this time around but not in a bad way! I think the relationship between the three of them was at a good place for the plot to adventure out! I might not like fire fae very much now after this though.

The epilogue was absolute so sweet. 😍 And we finally know how old a certain someone is!

I loved visiting the Fjord again! Lennie and her two Fae are finally getting married! Ahhh! But of course, their happiness is short lived, because there's always something tearing them apart. This time it's a visiting King of the Fire Fae, and he's not playing nice.

When Lennie, Espen and Øyven finally have time together after their wedding, it's well worth the wait. Their chemistry and love is so evident in how they are with one another and it's such a magical thing to see on the page. Absolutely loved this one!

This was an absolute epic conclusion to a fantastic series.
A great plot, fast paced, roller coater ride, twists and turns, dedicated love and found family with banter and humor keeping me reading late into the night. I have loved the 3 main characters from the start of this series and I will miss them, but am satisfied with the ending.
I received an arc of this book and all opinions are my own.

The fjord is burning… and Lennie and her guys are not about to let that happen. They’ll protect their friends, family, and their home at all costs. Book three in the Nordic Fae Series brings a fight for the fjord front and center. And it’s not just the fae at risk of danger. Lennie, Espen and Øyvjn have solidified their union as a throuple and now they have some bad guys to deal with. These characters and this series have my heart forever. Lennie is such an amazing example of a woman who is not afraid to be herself, even when that self is wildly inappropriate, rarely serious and always getting in to trouble. But that doesn’t keep her from loving and caring fiercely. And she will fight for those she loves and cares about to the very end. And that means the people of Skolvik and all of the fae in the fjord. And her guys love her more than anything and the way Elle writes these boys… 😍😍 they’re both so different yet so incredible. And they’ll fight just as hard, for and alongside Lennie. They know she can handle herself but they’ll still protect her eternally. I could write an essay about my love for this series, the development in the characters and their relationships, but that’s for another time. This book is perfection. I happy cried at the end because it was amazing but I don’t want to say goodbye to my friends. So I’ve started rereading book one already.
If you are looking for a modern day human/fae romantasy series with humor, spice, why choose, and so much love and fierceness, you’ve gotta read this series. You won’t be disappointed.

Suspenseful finale to the Nordic Fae series!
Fae of the Fjell starts off sweet, swoony, and a little dreamy. But the bliss is not to be enjoyed for too long because soon the epic war begins.
I was on the edge of my seat with this one. I had no clue where Elle was going to take this found family that we have come to love so much. I was scared for our main cast, the idyllic little town, the fae, and of course our lovely forest, fjord, and fjell. Thankfully, Elle snuck some laughs in to lighten the load along the way. I am so glad with how this series has ended and I cannot recommend this series enough.

An incredibly satisfying conclusion to The Nordic Fae series! This final installment had my anxiety through the roof, and the fire fae faction conflict raised the stakes in the best way. Watching Lennie fully claim her power and unite the fae with her quirky humor was such a joy.

Couldn’t have asked for a better ending to one of my favorite series 😍
