To be a Fae is the fifth book and the gripping final chapter in the Realm Chronicles series by Tricia Copeland. Each book has gotten better and better with each book and this book is my favourite.
This urban paranormal fantasy adventure, has it all; Fae, witches, fae lore, legends, magic, action, drama, danger, evil, challenges, prophecies, agendas, deceit, and secrets. Tensions are running high and are palpable as the final high stakes battle to save the Fae and humans is on the line.
Tricia’s well-crafted, captivating and vividly magical world is easy to get lost in. Her writing takes you to the most vividly magical places. It is a wonderful series from start to finish.
Make sure to read them in order to get the most out of this series.
I can’t wait to see what Tricia brings us next.

The time has come. The conclusion to the Realm Chronicles series is here. We hope that you’re ready to say goodbye to the characters you have come to know, love, and root for. No? Same. We’re not either, but...it’s time. Author Tricia Copeland brings her Realm Chronicles series to an overall satisfying conclusion with To Be a Fae. Queen Titania has suffered and sacrificed much, and the time has come to end Sonia’s reign of terror.
To Be a Fae stays true to the series with a cover many will find familiar. Our proud queen is once again holding her head high. Golden eyes trained outwards toward readers, she gives a look of determination. Hair firey red is swept back as if windblown with explosions of silver bursting out from the ends. Gemstones dot her pale forehead and sprinkle across her ethereal cheeks, while smaller crystals and crystalline dust sweep across her brows.
We get a glimmer of her wings in the background as shades of purple and pink swirl all around her creating a dance of ombre colors. Little streaks of white, almost like magic given form, dart across the page cascading down to create little glittering orbs at the base of the cover.
To Be a Fae picks up where To Be a Fae Rogue left off. Us readers, along with Queen Titania experienced quite the harrowing close to book four. Titania has already suffered so much, but author Copeland knew that Titania would have to suffer even more. Once again, a love has been lost to her, but this time it is with death that they will find their final end.
Titania had finally opened her heart to Foster, and now...he’s gone. A few months have passed since the ending that broke our hearts in To Be a Fae Rogue and Foster’s loss still weighs heavy on Titania’s heart. Despite it all, the quest to bring Sonia to heel continues in To Be a Fae. Titania has regained the trust of her people and openly once again holds the title of Queen. Awesome, right? Well, while her people may have forgiven her, certain monarchs have not and it would appear that they intend to be a thorn in her side.
The good news of it all is that Titania has gained much despite her losses in To Be a Fae. Her heart may mourn, but she has much to keep her busy. She continues her work with with witches in Upper Earth. She can now come and go as she pleases. No more sneaking around for this queen! Well...for awhile anyways.
Author Copeland quickly engages readers in To Be a Fae as Titania strives to mend her broken heart, and tries to forge a way forward for herself and her people. She can’t help but wonder if she will ever find a love to call her own. So many have been taken from her. Honestly, some she’s better off without. LOL! But helping the witches is definitely going to keep her busy.
Quite a bit of To Be a Fae is going to see Titania going to Upper Earth and spending time with the witches and vampires. In this book, author Copeland is going to bring in quite the cast of characters that will work to draw readers in more and more with each turn of the page. Prepare yourself for some really riveting reading.
The sparks of romance that were given life in To Be a Fae Rogue are given new life in To Be a Fae. While Titania questions it and even fights it for a while still, your heart is going to give an extra little dance when she dares to give things a chance. Of course, there is always the fear that...not everyone will make it to the end, but...why not live in the moment?
There are some really tense situations in To Be a Fae. Author Copeland will have you in quite the state of suspense as you wonder...what is going to happen next?! Someone in Titania’s realm is not happy with what she is doing. Or are they simply unhappy that she still holds the title of queen? We’ll never really know, but what we do know is that they almost cost her everything.
Of course, the biggest drama that plays out in To Be a Fae is trying to find a way to stop Sonia. How to do it is the biggest question. Sonia says that she wants what was once hers restored. Well, if that isn’t quite the puzzle to piece together, we don’t know what is. Of course, it becomes almost a treasure hunt for all that Sonia might have cared for during her existence. Bargains must be struck and few are easily agreed to without strong promises being made.
Titania has grown quite a lot throughout the Realm Chronicles series. But, of course, author Copeland continues to remind us in To Be a Fae that Titania is still a teenager. Titania would tell us that in earth years, she’s in her 20s, but...she’s a teen. LOL! This is emphasized in moments where she allows herself petulant moments. They are few and far between but they still are there.
One aspect that we absolutely loved reading throughout To Be a Fae is the romance blooming between Titania and DJ. It is allowed to develop without feeling rushed. Yes, DJ has had quite the crush on Titania from day one, but there wasn’t any “insta-romance.” DJ had to watch as Titania chose another over him throughout the series, and while his heart may or may not have suffered hurt, he stayed dedicated. It is quite romantic. Prepare to swoon a little concerning the romance as things come to a head in this novel.
Curious about where Terran is lurking? We can promise you that that question will be answered. Your first clue will be when the Guardians pop up with a complaint. He plays his part in this story, but, once again, it’s not going to be a big part. It’s going to feel more like a tease that we’re reunited with Terran for a moment only for him to exit stage left almost as quickly as he came. Of course, it’s not until after he gets what he wants from Hunter and the rest of the group.
While To Be a Fae has all the caveats of wrapping things up with a nice pretty bow at the end, there will still be some things left unresolved. It is mildly frustrating, but it also leaves things open-ended in our opinion. Will there be more to come in the Middle Earth? Who knows, but it is something that we would welcome. We’ll admit that we wanted a resolution or a “happy ending” concerning Titania’s mother, but it seems that that is something we won’t be getting with this particular story.
Looking for that epic battle of good vs evil to conclude the Realm Chronicles series? Well, you may be a bit disappointed, but author Copeland affords readers a plausible explanation and so we’re willing to bet that you’ll ultimately be satisfied with how it all plays out in To Be a Fae. All in all, it is a rather satisfying way to close the door on Sonia. While we would have loved an epic fight, the cost in lives? It more than likely wouldn’t have been worth it to our Queen Titania.
The drama rarely lets up in To Be a Fae. Sonia may be dealt with, but there’s still more that must be dealt with. Will Titania embrace the feelings that have growing for DJ or will she allow what others think her path should be? The intrigue will continue, but the ending will truly be satisfying and will see Titania gaining the peace and happiness she has so rightly earned.
To Be a Fae is a fitting ending to the Realm Chronicles series. It’s not a perfect ending with all loose ends tied up, but the primary objective of the series is fulfilled and brought to an overall satisfying conclusion. You get more romance with this final installment in the series, but author Copeland keeps things clean so that this book and series continues to be suitable for all readers. It’s bittersweet to say goodbye to these characters, but it helps knowing that those lost have been avenged, and that the rest can now live in peace.
Looking for your next fantasy read? Then you’re not going to want to miss out on the Realm Chronicles series. This book nicely wraps up this series giving Titania the ending that she deserves and allowing her to finally have the love in her life she’s yearned for. Don’t miss out on the conclusion that is To Be a Fae.

Pros:

• Engaging storyline
• Nice assortment of new characters
• Twists and surprises
• Good amount of details
• Nice HEA for Titania

Cons:
• Not everything gets a resolution

To Be a Fae by Tricia Copeland
4 Stars

This is book five and concludes the comingofage saga of Queen Titania. Set across three layered worlds—Lower Earth (realm of the dead), Middle Earth (fae realm), and Upper Earth (human realm)—the story revolves around Titania’s struggle to forge unity under the shadow of rising magic, political chaos, and supernatural threats .Titania finds herself pulled in two directions: join the witches in their mission to end Sonia’s reign of terror, or focus on maintaining stability in her own realm. When alliances shatter and enemies emerge from within, she’s forced to question whom she can truly trust—and what she’s willing to sacrifice to bring about peace
Queen Titania remains brave yet vulnerable, decisive yet morally reflective. Seeing as this is book five in the series, I highly suggest reading the previous books first as this finale begins deep into conflict with minimal exposition. The mix of —witches, vampires, allies, and rivals—adds emotional texture and political nuance. The dynamic between Titania and DJ (a vampire and witch) deepens the emotional core, particularly as Titania wrestles with grief over Foster and the consequences of her alliances .As a finale, To Be a Fae is both emotionally satisfying. Titania’s evolution from anxious young queen to powerful, conflicted leader reaches its climax in ways that feel earned. Betrayal, sacrifice, love, and duty all collide in a tapestry of magic and political intrigue.

I have to say that this has been an incredible journey. Although I am sad the story has ended, I couldn’t have imagined a better ending.

From the very first sentence to the last, Tricia has given us a a story of hope, perseverance, truth, and more importantly love. Love for oneself, family and friends, and the community. Titania’s story has not been one of ease. There has been terrible losses, very hard decisions and lots of sacrifice. Through it all she has remained true to herself, selfless and hopeful.

In this last book she deals with the grief of losing her mate. She questions every decision she’s made. She’s full of survivors guilt but she’s still full of hope and love. Her kingdom, family, and friends she made along the way keeps her going. She has always lead with her heart and has made the right decisions for everyone. We see how much she’s grown into her own. The walls she broken and changes she’s made are outstanding. Although she is only 17 (I think) in fae world, I still related to her so much. She is truly a leader and world changer. I am truly honored to have been along for the ride. I do hope there are more spinoffs from this kingdom. Some of the characters we were introduced to in this book are so intriguing and I’d love to learn more about them. Also to the author, thanks for sharing this world with us!

This was the final book in the series and I was sad to see it come to an end. I have loved the fantasy story filled with action, danger, magical creatures and abilities, and so much more. Queen Titania has been through a lot in the first four books but she is still working with the witches and vampires in the upper realm to get rid of Sonia, the witch who is trying to take over. There have been a lot of issues with the fae that are not normal like fights between neighbors, health issues, and a lot of mistrust. Titania thinks that Sonia has something to do with it. She travels to the upper realm quite often and is slowly falling for DJ. DJ is a half witch and half vampire. She tried not to have feelings because she didn't think the fae would approve. Many of the kingdoms support her and her plans but there are still a few who are working against her. I liked that this book brought in even more creatures and we learned more about their realms. I didn’t realize that there was a series prior to this one so now I will have to go back and get to know the witches and vampires better! Thank you for this magical series!

The final book is here. Hoping for an “epic conclusion?” Well, this book doesn’t deliver on the epic part per say, but it does give you a relatively satisfying ending that wraps up the majority of the drama that plays out in this final installment to the series.
Titania has experienced much loss, but this latest was the most heartbreaking. With her “return” though she is able to reclaim her crown and resume the post of protecting her people. She continues her work with the witches to stop the threat that Sonia poses to both Upper Earth and Middle Earth.
This book is engaging overall and will have some suspenseful and thrilling moments for Titania, especially. From threats in her own realm to the fear that they will never be free from Sonia. We get quite a few new characters introduced that showcases the vast variety of uniqueness that is the world these characters inhabit.
We get an overall decent ending, and it’s sad to say goodbye to these characters, but it’s nice to know that they can now live in peace.

This is the final book in the series and it’s been an adventure reading each book in the series. Each story leaves the readers wanting to know what will happen next to the Fae World and Titania. This is considered a YA series Fantasy read including many mythical characters within Middle and Upper Earth. Vivid descriptions and details make you feel as though you were living in their world and the characters are relatable.
Throughout the stories, we’ve gotten to know Queen Titania as a young girl conflicted and now into the fearless leader of the Fae. She’s encountered many circumstances personally and as a leader but things have shaped her into the leader in the midst of chaos. Now with her biggest challenge yet to save her people or surrender them. This was such a great series!

This was a great book to a conclusion tot his series. Highly suggest that you read the previous books thou because they kind of continue on with everything that has been going on. The story follows Titania where she has gone, thou so much to prove herself and to claim the crown that hers, to start being the queen she needs to be. She continues to deal with the threats the Sonia poses to both upper and middle earth, that Titania gets the help from witches. This was a very engaging finale to this story that was just what it needed. Its suspenseful. Thrilling, tense, emotional, has supernatural thrown in made this a great read.

Titania is still fighting to unite the fae and human worlds. There are challenges in this as there are people that are in accordance with this agenda just as there are those that oppose it. It is hard to know who can be trusted. While I did enjoy this book I missed out on quite a bit. The world building was great and I did find the characters likeable. I was able to put the pieces together to get a picture of what was happening and able to follow it decently from there. I will indeed be reading the other four books to get the full picture of course.

I had the pleasure of receiving an early copy of the final book in this series. The author does a great job of bringing closure to the series. Love and friendship are the two most powerful things in the bonding of two beings, inside and outside of the pages.

The fifth and final book in this urban fantasy series by Tricia Copeland. Poor Tatania and her losses are quite tragic throughout the entire series. She is still working with the witches to protect the realms from Sonia. It delivers a satisfying ending to the story but I was hoping for more.

I received an ARC from the author and even though I
wasn’t required to post a review, I wanted to give my honest, voluntary impression after reading this book.

Titania has had trouble trying to get monarchs and Fae to accept her after she became queen of Aubren when her father crowned her as his successor. Claims to the throne and uprisings by advisors and later by other monarchs have clouded her reign even though she has always pledged to fight for her Fae, which she has done; leading them to victory time and again against otherworldly creatures and even against rebellious Fae who have threatened her kingdom!

Through the past 4 books readers have gotten to know and admired this remarkable individual who became the first female monarch in Fae history. With it though she has had to endure personal heartbreak through betrayals and from other kingdoms in the realm even while she has been defending them against Fae and otherworldly creatures including a demon archangel through this series who has caused death and destruction to Middle and Upper Earth and to her personally!

In this last book, these onslaughts continue but like the previous books she is working with Upper Earth in the hopes of getting all the beings there to agree to join forces to stop this archangel who once again is threatening both realms!

Tatiana is once again called upon to make another personal sacrifice for the chance to save both Middle and Upper Earth with no guarantee that the plan will be successful.

This epic journey has given readers insights into Titania and the heartbreak she has carried since she was 12! With a few close friends in various positions in her government and friends in other kingdoms along with her alliance with the witches and vampires on Upper Earth they have been successful up til now.
This though requires cooperation with more beings that they haven’t even met yet!

It has been an incredible journey which has seen her finally come into her powers that have been dormant except for few instances in her past.

This is a journey I have enjoyed experiencing with her and her friends and I wholeheartedly and enthusiastically recommend you get and read this entire series for if you only read this book you miss so much you’ll never understand what led her to embark on this journey and the friends she has gained along the way and the personal losses she has suffered as well in this undertaking!

I can guarantee you’ll be glad you took the journey!

If you enjoy fantasy books that involve Fae this series is for you. The next book is here and it’s not something that can be read as a standalone novel. You can try but you will be missing pieces that are referenced throughout on why things are the way they are. The author has created a world that the reader will love but you really should start with book 1 vs “to be a Fae.”
You really won’t be disappointed, trust me when I say that.
Queen Titania is back from hiding and serving on her rightful throne. However, serving while being haunted by images of her dead mate. By an enemy that is still a threat. Things aren’t right among the Fae and Titania is trying to figure out why. They are never this disgruntled. By going to upper earth she feels she can find the answers. At first that didn't really help but they said they’d keep an eye out.
In the meantime she will work with the witches and half breeds to make sure the treaty stays intact. While making sure her army and troops are always training and ready.
Sonia is making waves. It's just a matter of time. It’s always just a matter of time & Titania intends on being ready.
Come on, you know you want to jump in to find out what happens next. I know I was excited too! Being I thoroughly enjoyed this series and I’m sure you will too!

To Be A Fae is the final book of the "Realm Chronicles" by Tricia Copeland. Unfortunately, I didnt realize that when I started it, so im definitely recommending you start at the beginning of the series! However, from just this book alone i do want to say I am absolutely going to go back and start from the first book, as this has truly captured my attention! This was incredibly addicting book, I genuinely did not expect to get so caught up in this book that i had to tell my husband to turn his movie down just so I could focus on it! There is so much going on in this book, and the author really just blends it all together beautifully. I'm super excited to see where this all starts, I highly recommend you do the same!

Evil lurks in unexpected places.” That chilling truth echoes throughout Tricia Copeland’s final installment of the Realm Chronicles, To Be a Fae—a gripping and emotional conclusion to a saga steeped in magic, political intrigue, and the ever-blurring lines between good and evil.

At the heart of the story is Queen Titania, a powerful yet burdened leader walking the razor’s edge between duty to her people and the greater good of both the fae and human realms. With two worlds teetering on the brink of chaos and trust fracturing among allies, Titania faces impossible decisions. Should she focus on stabilizing her own realm, or throw her support behind the witches’ war against the dark sorceress Sonia?

Copeland crafts a complex heroine in Titania—noble, flawed, and fiercely determined. The stakes are high, and the moral dilemmas are sharp. As the story unfolds, questions of loyalty, power, and sacrifice take center stage, and readers are drawn into a world where even those who fight for peace are forced to make dark choices.

The pacing is taut, with plenty of twists to keep you turning pages. Copeland’s world-building continues to shine, weaving the fantastical and the political together seamlessly. Long-time fans of the series will find this final chapter both satisfying and sobering, as Titania’s journey tests not only her strength, but her very soul.

While a bit more backstory recap would help new readers find their footing, To Be a Fae offers a powerful payoff for those who’ve followed the Realm Chronicles from the beginning. It’s a tale of leadership under fire, of hope in dark times, and of the quiet, persistent battle to hold on to one’s integrity in a world rife with deception.

Final thoughts: To Be a Fae is a darkly enchanting conclusion that asks hard questions and delivers powerful moments. If you love fae fantasy with a political edge and a morally complex heroine, this is a series end worth reading.

Queen Titania is ruling Middle Realm with the hopes that they can all live in peace and unity, so she spends her time between training the Realm Army, working with the witches in the Upper Realm to work out how to stop Sonia once and for all, as well as running her kingdom. Unfortunately for Titania, things are not running smoothly, there are reports of thefts, anxiety, depression, stress and other related health issues, as well as mobs forming, all this is unheard of in the Fae realm and it causes Titania to worry about the safety of her people.

At the same time, there is a rise in crime and unrest in the Upper Realm, however, the witches there may have found a solution to part of her worries, but the cost of this solution is great and Titania has to weigh the pros and cons and see if it is worth the price. Meanwhile, she is being spread thin among her people as she tries to stabilise the different kingdoms and their issues with each other as tensions escalate and loyalties are tested, pushing Titania to breaking point.

As the weeks pass and the Realms are becoming increasingly unstable, Titania must make her decision and figure out what is best for her people, aiding the witches in the Upper Realm, or running herself ragged trying to determine solutions to her people's aggravations, all while dodging threats on her health and wellbeing, but will she be able to make that decision, or will she end up snapping before she can?

This is an action packed, race against time to find solutions, engage strategies and create safeguards to keep realms stable, as danger swirls and eddies all around the fae and humans alike as the war for the realms rushed to its conclusion.

To Be A Fae is the fifth and final book in the Realm Chronicles by Tricia Copeland. This was a bit of a bitter-sweet read for me, as on one hand I have been really enjoying this series and really wanted to know what was going to play out- but then on the other hand, I really wasn’t ready for it to end. As expected, Ms. Copeland left the best till last-with a completely engrossing ending to the series.
This awesome urban fantasy adventure series is woven with plenty of action, Fae, magic, paranormal beings, sacrifice, danger, good vs evil, different realms, superb world building, mystery, challenges, secrets, tension, high stakes, agendas, interesting characters, good vs evil, twists & turns, different factions, emotion, and plenty of tense & gripping developments.
After everything that has happened in the previous four books, Titania still has much to face and endure if she is to overcome the evil that still prevails and threatens everything Titania has sworn to protect. Now, everything will hang on the outcome…. so get set for a gripping ride.
This book continues the adventure we started back in book one and really isn’t meant to be read as a standalone. I highly recommend that you read the other four books before starting on this one- as the other books contain character details/introductions, intriguing storyline developments, continuing developments/overarching storyline, and other important information that you really need to know in order to fully appreciate this gripping, final instalment.
Even though I am a sad to leave this world- I can’t wait to see what Ms. Copeland has in store for us next…
Happy Reading…

To Be a Fae is the conclusion to a 5 book fantasy epic by Tricia Copeland. The entire series is a great read. Her world building is first class, with a great detail included for each of the three realms. I liked that she turned some Fae lore upside down (like with where NOT to eat food or you get stuck) which made for a fresh story as the lore of the worlds was revealed.

I loved that the romances are clean and sweet, but the enemies and battles are not. I was totally drawn into the characters and pulling for happy resolutions for all. I was a little disappointed that the final battle with the big baddie was rather anticlimactic after the havoc she wreaked throughout the series. However, she did get her comeuppance, and the icing on the cake for her was rather sweet. (dig your own grave, etc.)

The story does resolve all the loose ends and creates the better world our poor abused Queen Titania has been working so hard for. I love to see happy endings for people that have sacrificed so much for the good of others. I had tears in my eyes as the series concluded with Titania’s HEA.

This series does need to be read in order. I started this book and then realized I was lost so I had to stop and read the first four in order to understand what was happening. No hardship there as this series is a gem, even though the books are rather long. I definitely recommend this book for lovers of paranormal romances and young adults that love fantasy and Fae (and witches and vampires and about 9 other species). Happy reading!.

I read an advance copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.

The Review

This was a gripping, powerful, and engaging finale to a thrilling fantasy series. The staggering heights the author’s world-building reached in this narrative were nothing short of incredible, and the emotional payoff for so many characters and their arcs throughout this series was breathtaking to witness. The first-person perspective readers get through Queen Titania’s eyes throughout the narrative shows how hands-on she is as a protagonist and leader to her people, getting into the thick of the battles being waged against this mad archangel and the forces pitted against them.

The powerful themes and emotional character developments are what made this book, and the series overall, so compelling to begin with. The theme of betrayal ran deep throughout this book, turning this fantasy story into a politically charged and personal story of the sting betrayal brings and the questions it raises as a leader to others in that same process. The protagonist's decisions show the duality of her nature as a ruler, her duty to her own heart, and the sacrifices she must make for both.

The Verdict

Thought-provoking, entertaining, and memorable, author Tricia Copeland’s “To be a Fae” is a strong finish to the Realm Chronicles series and a must-read fantasy-driven novel. The shocking twists and turns of the story, as well as the emotional payoffs it provides and the balance between the protagonist’s resilience in the face of betrayal and her brushes with politics and war, will keep readers on the edge of their seats until the book’s final page.

This is the fifth book in the Realm Chronicles Series. With this being the 5th book in the series I do recommend you read these books in order as they follow each other. This has been an amazing urban fantasy adventure. It is filled with action, adventure, Fae lore, magic, witches, paranormal beings, the fight between good and evil and so much more.

We are back with Titania as she struggles to fight against evil to protect the Fae realm and also the humans. But this isn't going to be easy.
When strange things start happening with her Fae people she needs to uncover what is happening. Could it be a evil she thinks was defeated or could it be something closer to her just waiting for their chance. Tatania faces challenges, obstacles, secrets, lies and people with hidden agendas. With all these challenges does Titania stand any chance of protecting her Fae people as well as protecting the humans or will this be one battle that will be too much for her to overcome.

This has been a really entertaining and gripping series, the character development of Titania through the series has been great to see. And the world building by this author really brings the realms and characters to life. I'm sad that this is the end of the series but I look forward to re reading them again.

To be a Fae is the fifth and final installment in the Realm Chronicles series of young adult fantasy books. This is a great series for lovers of magical worlds and female protagonists with lots of responsibility on their shoulders.

As usual, my main criteria for enjoying this book was that Alfreda is in it! She’s been my favourite character from the start, I was just looking back over my reviews of the other books and in nearly all of them I talk about how great Alfreda is. She does so much to look after Titania and is an interesting character in her own right!

You should definitely read this series in order, starting with To Be A Fae Queen, to follow the full story. It’s an emotional and adventurous series with a great cast of characters and plenty of twists and turns along the way!

In To be a Fae, Titania is dealing with personal grief as well as trying to find the right path forward for her people in the face of dangerous and unsettling forces. She can’t do everything herself, but struggles to trust others to make the right decisions.

This is a great series for fans of epic fantasy with aspects of urban fantasy. It gets five stars from me!

Having devoured every book in the Realm Chronicles series, I have to say that this is a fantastic conclusion! Right from the get-go, the tension is sky-high as Queen Titania faces impossible choices to save both the fae and human realms. The stakes feel bigger than ever, and I loved how the story dives deep into themes of unity, loyalty, and the complexities of good versus evil. Titania’s struggle to balance her responsibilities and personal feelings made her feel so real—she’s not just a queen, but a leader searching for the right path in chaos.

The plot twists genuinely caught me off guard, especially when Titania begins to question her closest allies. I found myself rooting for her at every turn, and the emotional rollercoaster didn’t let up until the very end. The way the book explores the idea that evil can hide within anyone brought a fresh, thought-provoking layer. If you’ve enjoyed the earlier books (like I totally did!), you’ll be blown away by this finale. It’s a gripping, twisted, and ultimately inspiring read that wraps up Titania’s journey in the most epic way possible!

Titania has lost the love of her life and is still fighting a battle against Sonia. She and the witches of the Trinity have to figure out how to contain the threat of Sonia once and for all in order to protect everyone. As she heals in her continued purpose, she realizes that love might not in fact be over for her. When the answer to save everyone is in one final spell, can they garner enough backing to help foster in a new time of peace? Can Titania open her heart to another and help heal herself?

This was the final installment of the Realm Chronicles. There were a lot of loose ends that were continually being trussed up for an epic ending, but even with that, there were still a few surprises scattered in throughout the book that I did not see coming. The author did a lovely job of having the story wrap up and even left an opening (dare I hope!) for a spin off series- at least in my mind! All the characters became friends as I read. The reader is really able to get into Titania's head and see the struggles of balancing great responsibility and still trying to remain a person at the end of the day. I truly enjoyed this series!

This is a series that I have enjoyed reading from the start. It is a series that this author brings to life with their creative writing skills and their attention to details. This story is no different. This is the last installment to this series which I am sad to see but look forward to seeing what is next for this author. Queen Titania is in search of a solution for her people that doesn’t include chaos. She finds herself being pulled from both directions, Middle and Upper Earth. When she is left to question everything and everyone, how will she choose what is best? I enjoyed this character and what she brings to the story. She is strong and connectable. She keeps me wanting to know more. I also enjoyed how supportive the other characters were to her. I enjoyed watching the growth of this story from beginning to end which made the story easy to read. This is a fast paced, hard to put down story and one you don’t want to miss. This is a great book and I highly recommend it.

Like others who have been on this journey since book 1 came out, I am happy to see the conclusion, but at the same time I am saddened. It was bittersweet reading this. Tricia did not let me down with this final book. Do I wish there could be more? Yes. Did I like the way it ended? Yes and no. Yes because I was happy and excited to see how everyone's story ended. No because well... you'll see when you read the book. It's not what I was expecting, but it felt right. Like always this book drew me in and kept me on the edge of my seat until "The End." I was a little book hungover after finishing this because there was just so many things happening at once. But it was worth it. If you are just starting out on this journey, go back to book 1. I can't wait to see what else Tricia writes, and I *hope* that I can add a special edition of this series to my amazing bookshelf!

This series was engrossing from start to finish and this final book is only slightly less than the previous 4 but still would give it a strong 4.5.
Titania is still a teenager if you look back at the time that has passed but shes grown so much by the conclusion of this story
Unfortunately this story does involve a lot of survivors guilt which I can wholly understand, so even when it wasnt plainly written you could feel the emotions being portrayed.
I do enjoy that the Queen who led entirely with her heart does find the world a better place in the end but at a massive cost to her. Thankfully she still had many to rally around her and help her but as usual the leader often ends up successful but tragically so. This story is no different.
This series did turn a lot of Fae lore upside down and was a great read, im ready for the authors next world!

This series is one that I have been completely taken with right from the start and with each new book I am just as excited to read it as the last one. Although I am sad this is the final book of the series because I have enjoyed it all so much. I love how, even in this last book, we get to see so much more development, from both the characters and the story. I was pulled straight back into the plot and could not put it down until I had finished it.
This whole series has been brilliant to read. I loved each and every book and this one in particular seemed to have something special about it. It feels like a fitting end to the series and I felt like I was there for the whole journey. This is an incredible book and I would seriously recommend the whole series.
