Ik ben fan van het prachtige boek Vlieg, Wild moet daar niet voor onderdoen!
De cover met de titel die je kan voelen, de prachtige illustraties, de vele boeiende weetjes: alles is even geweldig. In dit boek gaat het over de indrukwekkende eigenschappen die dieren hebben ontwikkeld om te overleven in het wild.
Denk daarbij aan: omgekeerde schaduwwerking (zonder te weten hoe dat heet had ik daar al lang vragen over), zweven, mieren slurpen, peddelvoeten (weet jij wat een lamia is?) en zo veel meer.
Dieren zijn cool, dat wist ik al langer, maar nu begrijp ik meer over het hoe en waarom, wat hen nog cooler maakt. Hoe meer je over iets weet, hoe meer je ervan gaat houden!
Ik ben fan van dit boek en de andere delen in deze reeks. Een aanrader voor jong én oud (ik ben 46)!

This is a really nice addition to the series - the way the animals were categorized was very innovative. (no birds - they are all in Fly.)

We always love a good book that gives us lots of information without overwhelming us and has beautiful illustrations and this book was all of that and more.
