I received an ARC of this book for my honest opinion.
I loved this book from the cover alone. That before and after having kids is very universal. I love that even the animals have gotten crazier with the arrival of baby. But it also acknowledges that with that stress and change, there is love and fun which makes it all worth it. Lastly, I love the fact that it is clearly stated that everything existed and parents had a life before the child was born, a concept that blows my kids’ minds every time. This is the book to get parents about having a first child to prepare them for the upheaval and fun.

I loved this one!! I don't think that my child fully appreciated it but it's a great book for parents who are feeling sentimental. Immediately added to my Amazon cart! Would also be a great book for baby showers/new baby gift!!

A delight from the endpapers with the "before" family on the front endpapers to the "after" family with the baby/child and the pursuant chaos on the back endpapers. When you came the bees are buzzier, the chair is snugglier, the bed is bouncier. A book of family love with bright, fun illustrations.
