Here's the book that teaches you how to take the "impossible" and turn it into the "inevitable" through the power of faith! "I can do everything through him who gives me strength." - Philippians 4:13 "I can do." This is the Declaration of Faith that unlocks all possibility and potential. When your shift confidently proclaims, "I can do," the Holy Spirit fills you with inspiration, revelation, and wisdom. You'll find the way. It's as simple as that! Cho shows you:
David Yonggi Cho (born Paul Yungi Cho) is a South Korean Christian minister. With his mother-in-law Choi Ja-shil, he is cofounder and eternal leader of the Yoido Full Gospel Church (Assemblies of God), the world's largest congregation, with a claimed membership of 830,000 (as of 2007). I have felt like I needed to do a refresher on the principles of faith and Pastor Cho had a ton of revelation to offer. I read this several years ago but will say that I grasp the principles more than I did years before. Grab your bible and follow along with his teaching and watch how the Holy Spirit will illuminate what you have not seen before in the Word of God.
An easy read. Could be read in one sitting. I read it a day and half. This book covers different aspects of faith and has chapters on how to live a productive life which I enjoyed. It speaks about speech, mindset and peace. I enjoyed this book.
I am done with this book but only read the first chapter. I bought this based on a variety of reviews of the author. He just does not do it for me. Feels like too much repetition of stuff I already know plus a lot of “filler” and unnecessary verbiage. Or something. Understand. I rarely actively choose to read a book, actually start reading it, then decide to not finish after a chapter or two.
I have limited time to read. I am on a “mission” to grasp a set of material, digest it well and move forward. This one, for me, it is not going to get me there. I prefer to invest more time in the other dozen books I have been listening to on audiobook and/or reading - studying, often.
I have nothing bad to say about the book or the author, it simply is not sufficiently challenging for where I am. There is too much “rote church-ese” I think is what it is… sounds too formulaic, or something. Been there, done that. Kept trying come back to it and finish it, but it feels like it is “stealing” time from others that are hitting the mark, so I have decided to shelf it.
What an encouraging book! It is full of practical steps to success in your life, chock full of biblical principals. I especially appreciated the chapter about paying for education. When things don't turn out the way you expect, chalk it up as a learning experience.
I like that the book has practical steps that you can follow in order to Unleash the power of faith in your life. It is straightforward. A great read on faith.
This powerful little book is full of truths, that will stir up your faith. Whenever you need a boost on your faith, this book will remind you to keep standing on God's word. Principles are all well listed down from first chapter to the last, all we need to do is bury these concepts in our heart. I highly recommend all Pastor Cho's books.(H. Mucklo)
It's a short, but powerful read .The book is packed with truths and I can safely say that Dr.Cho's books and sermons have been life changing to say the least:)
