I am terrible commenting series, it gets all mushed up in my tiny brain. I like how well the story follows along, but mostly the characters getting drawn. Finally we get more meat on Lucy, which I was scared a bit from my hiccup in the previous book, but I was pleasantly surprised.
The story has kept that tricky balance between moods and characters: dark and funny, trauma and levity, murderous vein and getting-horny-at-the-worst-moments. The perfect recipe for my slump-ish mood. I am a happy camper.

I really love Lilly and Eden's ongoing story- it's so deliciously dark with Lilith and so golden-retrievery/angelically (is that a word? Lol) sweet with Eden. I hope there is more coming because there's no way their story is just over that easily. Would be 5 stars if not so short! I can't help but want more

Brilliantly portrait 🔥 🔥 🔥
One of thee best series I've read in a long time. A 10🌟 if even possible. From intense angst, rollercoaster emotions, steamy scenes that makes you blush. I could not stop and finished both novels the same day. Is there more to come from our angel and demon, i so wish. Don't miss out from the amazing author. She definitely knows how to capture her readers.

I adore this series, in fact this is my third time reading them and I am very impatiently waiting for the fifth book 😅.
The Heart of Demon series follows Eden a university student, studying religious studies and trying to grapple with new things she is learning about herself, thanks to Lilith. The mother of demons swoops into Eden’s life and changes everything.
Book 2 follows Lilith and her descent into rage and madness as she is faced with the betrayal from a friend that’s been with her for a millennia, the kidnapping and mind wiping of her angel and the discovery of a whole new spicy dynamic.
It’s a story filled with betrayal, the breaking of a friendship, the ache of missing your person, possession and accidentally murder. And a whole lot of spicy fun

Yay!
I was super excited to see a second book drop so soon after I finished the first! The spice and world building in this one was top tier even though it wasn’t super long. The author got right to it! I loved their interactions and how Lilith and Eden showed up for each other. The deeper view on BDSM and how important communication is on both sides was also well done.

I hated that Maxx was dead dead! I love cats and he was one of my favorites. Glad that his sacrifice was glossed over though.
