This series was rushed and way too short! It had potential to be a great story but I feel like there is so much missing! Like the author was too lazy to tell the entire story.
The whole part with Caroline and Nick was very poorly done. Caroline sees Nick at the restaurant and no one says a word! Caroline didn't run away. Instead her daughter collapses at her wedding AND THEN Caroline runs away. In my opinion it could have been written better, but the idea of the whole story I liked, so I didn't hate it, I just wish it was...more. If the author would have taken her time she could have written a great story, or series because with all of the details for every storyline there would have been enough for an entire series.
Just my two cents. Not that it matters.
Overall 2-3 stars. I didn't hate it. I am glad that it had a happy ending.

Final part of this book. I kinda shocked knowing what kind of person Adriana Rivera, Alex's gran is. I thought she's really sincere about Steph. And Steph's mother. Really? No news till the end? Her mother no other than trouble. But I'm happy that Nate finally found his mate in Steph well...fiance. Ok, ex fiance *grin*
And it's super sweet when Alex proposed her in the park. So romantic. Finally, a happy ending for everyone. Loved it.

I was sad to see this book end. This series captured my attention and heart so quickly and just like that it was over. I have to agree with some of the other reviews that this booked was a little rushed and ended too quickly but I was still pleased with it and would recommend it to others

I hated the ending of this book! First off it was too short. I can't imagine having a huge crush on someone and not really dating them then coming back after five years and marry them on the spot! It felt forced. I know Steph loved him a lot when she lived in Webster Grove...to have no character development for that many years is odd. I also didn't like that her fiancé turned gay. Honestly I was let down hard by this book. I loved the first two. What happened?

I can't recall how I came about The New Girl. I can't say I regret it because it really rocked my world when I read it. And the second one. Now, many years later, I finally finished this series of really short, really corny, soap opera-y novellas. As I read the extremely fast-paced stories, I could only picture the scenes being from an actual latin tv novela. Really wished I'd read the whole thing back then and not now, when I laugh at stuff like this. Oh, well.

This is the best one I think ( the 4th was also very good ) the writing was older I felt them develop and become older I saw Chris and Nate coming so that wasn't that much of a surprise
The wedding was a surprise and I loved it
One little thing his grandmother coming to their house is not realistic at all

What a fabulous way to end the series. I have loved reading this series from start to finish. I loved taking every single step with the characters throughout their lives. Bravo on a well done series. Just wish I could give more than 5 stars for this.

Wow

Some of those relationships were very confusing. So happy it finally happened. Everything went so quick. To be honest the author could have put all these books together and had a great novel. But nonetheless loved these books and ending.

Don’t waste your time on reading any book in this series. In order to get the whole story you need to read all five as they’re all left with cliffhangers and each book is just a filler chapter.

Aside from there being no plot, the characters leave much to enjoy—especially the main characters.

So let me just say...I loved this series just as much as I love the Just a Little series!!!

I read the entire series in under 24 hours and I could not put down the books, I had to know what was going to happen!

As much as the subject of teacher/student relationship is taboo, I thought that this love story was perfect. I was sad when book 4 ended, knowing that she went to Paris and left Alex behind, bit I knew Tracie would not leave the readers upset...and you made up for it in the last book.

I must say that I knew there was something fishy about Nick and Issac and I had a feeling they may have been her father, but I wasn't sure until it actually was said.

This series has suspence, craziness and most of true love!!!

I hope you plan to write more like Webster Grove and Just a Little!!!

By Far the best Book ever in this series!!
I was shocked and cried.. It just so amazing, I really can't find the words.
I did'nt want the series to end..
After 5 years Steph comes back and it's still good to read that no one really hasnt left. Alot of people have stayed the same, but now theres maturity. The characters have developed and grown up alot.. With is so heart warming.
My best bit when Alex sees Steph again... my heart stopped and I screamed "WTF!" I told myself it was just a joke, and thank goodness it kind of was.

I love a guy who is well prepared and organized especially for a wedding and life. Boy how I wish Alex Rivera was real.

*The ending: Just one big happy family.. Everything is just one big happy ending.
Ending the book on a good note.
Ending this review on 5 stars.

This is the best book. You have to read this book. I loved it so much that it took me a little under a hour to read it. I can't believe it. To me the every ending I didn't like to much. But that's just mean. I love this book so so much I can't believe how fast I fell in love with these books. I can't wait to reread it :) this is one of the best books that would could ever read. While reading this book I cried and with in a couple mins latter I was jumping with joy. This book has the perfect amount of twist and turns and joys and a little sadness. Things that you never thought would happen but it all comes together perfectly.

When I started reading this series, I was hooked from the beginning. What can I say? Sometimes, a book just does everything for you. I started reading it and got so surprised because it was so good.

Of course, it’s girly, simple and full of love, but I couldn’t get enough while reading it. The main character, Steph, moves to a new town and starts a new life with her dysfunctional mother. Steph is a strong and bright girl and it clearly shows that she has grown up quickly and has a lot to offer in comparison to her mother. She is “the new girl” at high school and hopes to meet someone nice, and she does… Her teacher; Alex Rivera. Oh, forbidden love! (don’t stand so close to me).

^^ Very quick Read. Final installment to the series and I actually liked how it ended. It was very fast paced and I found out things I did not know. Like the Grandma she is such a B****. And her attitude. It was all so quick I never saw it coming. I STILL LOVE NATE! Favorite character in the series!!! (He reminds me of a friend of mine ^_^) Overall I really enjoyed the story. I'm glad I read it.

One complain too much of the repetition "Sweetheart" in this last book. It annoyed me. But that is it.

****SPOILER*****
I STILL LOVE NATE!!!! AND THEN WHEN THEY (STEPH AND ALEX) NAME THEIR FIRST KID AFTER HIM. IT WAS SO BEAUTIFUL!!!! LOVE THE DUDE.

I'm sorry but I feel like the author used the Gay excuse too often in this whole book series. Come on nothing is that easy!! You cannot make everyone GAY so you can have the main character everything she wants. I did not enjoy this book at all in fact I only continued to read this series cuz of the first book ( was too damn short). I literally wasted $5 and 3 days. Smart marketing though with making it too short and enough for us to get hooked but the story is not great!!! NOT great at all!

a review of this series in a whole was fantastic. a sweet story of right guy wrong time. Steff meets her soul mate in HS but he is her teacher even though not much older than her that stops them from going forward until after she graduates there journey is funny tender and sweet and though there are bumps in the road the end is wonderful and I truly enjoyed this story...family, friends and love is the name of the game

I was fascinated by the series and this resulted in me reading the entire series within the confines of a few consecutive days. I bestowed books one through four with four-star ratings because of the interest they peaked, but I have given the final installment a two for several reasons: the sudden shock of Gran, the unnecessary element of homosexuality, and the brevity of each book. Besides these unpleasantries, I was pleased with Puckett and her works.

Sweet story

I thoroughly enjoyed reading this mini series. The characters were loveable. I do however wish the ending wasn't rushed. I had plenty of unanswered questions. I guess that just means I have to draw up my own conclusions. which is fine by me. At least it ended as I had imagined it would.

OMG five years has passed, Steph is engaged to gay person, Bridget had a baby girl and is going to have another, Alex being and asshole, and Alex's gran was a sneaky conniving stupid b*****
But all ends in two marriages, Nate got a boyfriend, and Nate's mother and steph's father are getting married, and Alex and Steph had a baby boy Nathaniel

I love this saga so much. And of course Alex is my second boyfriend on my list of love fictional characters. He was so patient and did everything so right to fix things with Steph, that surprised me completely. And the wedding... wow the way he did it so simple and perfect. I'm in love with this saga completely.

It's the happy ending you wished for. All the characters got everything they wanted. My heart raced so much when they came face to face in the auditorium AS ADULTS! This was a good little series. I enjoyed it and got really into the story. Quick read too.
