The Knotty Sideshow is no place for an omega on the run, but it might be my only shot at escaping a forced bond.
After years of hiding my designation with suppressants, my father sold me to a pack of alphas.
Now, to elude a future I want no part of, I have to disappear.
When I stumble upon a caravan of performers, it’s a twisted blessing in disguise. I decide to run away with the circus, but there’s one problem… The troupe is full of sexy, sinister alphas who’ll be just as dangerous—if not more so—than the ones I’m trying to escape.
It doesn't help that one of them is my scent match.
Keeping my secret while trying not to fall for any of my delicious costars is a three ring balancing act. But when my past finally catches up with me, it'll take more than a safety net to break my fall.
Three Ring Heat: Part One is a why choose (MMFMM) non-shifting omegaverse romance featuring dark themes.
Okay, first off, I wanna thank R.K. Pierce and her team for this ARC! Secondly, OH. MY. GOD!?!?!????? I’m so obsessed with clowns (especially sexy psychotic ones). The omegaverse is one of my biggest hyperfixations, so of course I jumped at the chance to sign up for an omegaverse circus ARC and I’m so, so glad I did.
“Three Ring Heat” is a dark MMFMM why-choose 94k-word romance set in a circus troupe with three asshole alphas and one sweet beta all falling for the same omega who is hiding her true designation.
Tropes: •Multiple POV •Scent Match •Mute MMC •Knife Play •Virgin FMC •Enemies To Lovers •Bisexual Awakening •Reverse Harem •Hot Circus Performers •FMC On The Run

First I would like to say…I NEED BOOK TWO RIGHT NOW!!!!
I’ve been somewhat yarning for a circus romance and when this popped up in my emails I was hooked, I was on edge with every word and didn’t want to put it down. But that cliffhanger….I’m going to be counting down the days till I know what happens next.
My Gods, I want to throat punch all the guys except Daze! Part One has had me pulling my hair in frustration but it’s a great read.
We’ve got a hidden omega on the run from her father and the pack she was sold to. And what does she do? Literally runs away with a circus and I am so here for it. She scared but she’s determined and I love her for it.
Though I’m not sure how I will ever be able to like Zero after what he has pulled. I’ve got hope R.K. Pierce will make it all better in Part Two.
Daze is so sweet, Revel is a grade A d!ck because he’s scared of feelings, Night is traumatized and is self destructing, and Zero… I thought the psycho would be my favorite until he dropped a bomb in the cliff hanger.
I’m all confused and messed up now and I need Part Two badly!
An omega runs away from a fate she has no say in, while hiding her designation by taking illegal suppressants, and ends up joining the circus 🎪
Now she is surrounded by a group of psychotic alphas who can’t stand the sight of her..and one beta who finds himself falling for a woman for the first time in his life.
I’m obsessed with this story and can’t wait for book 2!! Arina is the type of FMC you keep rooting for; and the alphas of the troupe are exactly what you’d expect circus performers to be..unhinged and unafraid.
If you’re a fan of why choose OV with MM action, bi-awakening, secret identity, hate-sex, psycho alphas and sweet betas, then this is for you. There is a part 2 coming soon, and I expect the action is really gonna pick up in that one..this one is heavier on the character development.
The romance is definitely a slow-burn, hate-to-love, for the most part..so if you’re more of a sticky-sweet OV type of reader, you might wanna skip this one unless you don’t mind being patient and holding out for part 2, because these alphas definitely don’t dote on her in part 1.
And as far as spice goes, there isn’t an obscene amount (yet lol), but the spice we do get is top tier🤌🏽🤌🏽😮💨😮💨..did I mention there’s hate-sex? 🙃
I have been in a slump for a while, no book, story, characters, or world has been able to get me out, but Arena and her alphas and one beta consider my slump over. I'm a s1ut for circus smut but was hesitant when I read omegaverse but there was no shifting and lord am I glad I gave it a chance and read it the day it was released and even more excited I pre-ordered the pr box because I will say it's a new favorite for me. I don't give 5 stars often but this book left me as obsessed as I was with Aiden Pierce's Sinner's Sideshow. I love Daze so much he is a sweet beta, I want to know more about Night, revel is a wild card for me still but I need to know why he's such an alphahole, and zero f**k me I hate to love him. I don't care that he's a literal psychopath I know there is good somewhere deep down and book 2 will prove it but for now, I'll live in my delusion because that scene when they thought the other was asleep and they were quietly in their bunks they will live rent-free. So many scenes will live rent-free and I wish I could tell you then all but I don't want to spoil anything so do yourself a favor and read it seriously you won't be disappointed. Ugh, I need book 2 now but I'll be waiting with bated breath until it comes out.
What happens when you are an omega on the run from the pack you've been sold to and your bus breaks down? Obviously you get out and walk knowing you need to be far away. When a biker drops you in the next town you need to figure out what's next but you are nearly broke and exhausted so you sneak onto a trailer for a nap. Next thing you know you've joined the circus.
This story drags you in immediately. I love a hidden omega on the run. The guys in the circus are all a bit psycho and I love it. All of these men are unhinged though one is slowly losing a battle that only one impossible thing can fix.
This circus is dark, thrilling and utterly addictive. I need so much more. This omega is fearless in front of the men while secretly trying not to freak out. She is hiding so much and if anyone finds out all could be lost.
That ending... Seriously that was not how I saw this part ending and I can't wait to see how this all plays out. I'm hooked and ready to run away with the circus.
I honestly have no idea what to write in this review other than I could not put the book down!! I read it in 1 sitting and I haven’t read a book like that for a while.
This book grabbed me hook, line and sinker. This is the first book I’ve read by this author and I’m in love.
The writing style is so easy to get lost in but keeps you on your toes and wanting more.
I loved the circus aspect of the story mixed in with omegaverse (some of my favourite books) and I didn’t want the story to end.
We follow Arina an omega on the run trying to hide her designation when she stumbles upon a circus caravan and becomes part of their family 🖤
The guys are a mixture of psychotic, grumpy aholes and loveable teddy bears. The spin in the end was a brilliant twist (which people will shout at the book for!!) and I literally am begging for the next instalment. I’m going to go into a book funk now as I loved it so much 😍
Honest ARC Review: This book is for those who love omegaverse and circus themed stories. Arina is an omega on the run. She has to get out of town and away from the people who want nothing but to use her. When she stumbles upon The Knotty Sideshow it seems like the perfect escape. The problem is she's now in very close quarters with three alphas. As the troupe gets to know her and she finds her place in the circus, keeping her omega nature secret is the most important thing. Arina can’t tell them who she really is but she may have no choice. This story had me hooked quickly. I really enjoyed how the story built up and how the characters were introduced. This book is a darker omegaverse and I absolutely loved the circus setting. This is part one and does end on a cliffhanger so I am really eager to read the second part when it comes out.
I really need the second part for this duet! Omg I could not put it down! Whenever I did I kept thinking of this book! I loved our FMC and all the MMC yes some are deranged but I love it hhahaha I’m excited to see how this duet will conclude! Also to see if trouble has followed our FMC 👀
Our omega is feisty and I loved it! I knew someone would find out one of her secrets and I was kind of not shocked by who it was. I’m on the edge of my seat excited to see how the person now knowing her secret will do
Wow, wow, wow!!! What a beginning to this circusverse duet! Arina is just trying to get away from her father and the pack he sold her to. She happened upon The Knotty Sideshow and maybe she could fly under the radar. Little did she know her omega would be drawn to two of the alphas and one of the beta performers. The alphas are drawn to her, and they don’t understand why…they just want her gone. Dark and dangerous and a bit spicy. Check the trigger warnings before reading. I loved it and can’t wait for part two!!!
I finally finished this book!!! Omg it was so worth the wait 😮💨 I’m so happy I took my time with this one!
I did not expect anything that happened in the book which was a happy surprise!! Now that ending??? 👀👀 uhh excuse you, I need part 2 asap!
I absolutely devoured this omegaverse though 🤭! The development of the characters was my favorite part! I highly recommend this story if you’ve been wanting a circus themed book as well! The way the scenes were described made it feel like I was there watching everything! Anxiously waiting for the next and wanting to go to a circus! 😂
LFG RK ❤️🔥 This was so much fun and such an easy read. RK’s writing is smooth and flows beautifully while she builds the story of Ariana and the Knotty Sideshow!
If you want an omega in hiding, golden retriever Beta and 3 grumpy Alphas then this is your story. Even if you don’t want it but want lots of tension and love a good circus troupe then this is for you!!!
This why-choose omegaverse is an absolute delight. When I saw it was circus themed, I knew I'd love it. And all the character art RK has shared had me feral. This was perfect. I was sucked right in. It was a perfect blend of dark, seductive, and full of thrill and danger. The chemistry between the characters was well fleshed out and I can’t wait to see how things further develop into the next book.
That cliffhanger had me screaming. I can't wait until part 2 is out!
Three Ring Heat, Part One, book 1 of the new duet A Cirqueverse by R.K. Pierce @author_rkpierce.
OMG! What a fantastic book 1 about Arina, Revel, Daze, Night, Zero! Tropes: Contemporary, Dark, Omegaverse, Why Choose With MM, Family Issues, Omega On The Run, Psychotic Alpha/ Scent Match, Sweet Beta, Almost Feral Alpha, Mad Alpha & A Brutal Cliffhanger! Gimme book 2 NOW!
Holy crap! Every time i read an R.K Pierce book I think ‘It cant get any better!’ Yet here I am at 1am having just finished the book (i finished it in 6 hours yall). The book is absolutely amazing. Couldnt put it down. But also holy shit i need part two please
I've been in a reading slump recently but this definitely got me out of it. That ending!!! I need to know what happens next! I love all the characters so much, even her crazy alphas.
Since this is the first part of a duology, it does end on cliffhanger. The start was a bit slow for me and it didn’t really pickup until about 1/3 of the way in.
Zero is going to have to do some major groveling or something to redeem himself. He’s pretty unlikable so far. The initial dislike that the 3 alphas have for Arina didn’t make a lot of sense to me.
Night didn’t get a lot of character development and he has almost no interaction with Arina so far.
Three Ring Heat is the first part of Pierce's dark, why choose (MMFMM), non-shifting omegaverse romance. This story features Arina, Rebel, Daze, Zero, and Night, a complex cast of characters.
Arina is an omega who has been taking illegal drugs to mask her scent and hide her omega designation. Omegas aren't treated well; they are a dying breed but necessary to maintain the societal structure. Not long after her mother passes away, her father sells her to the Stone pack. Arina has no desire to be used for breeding by an unknown pack. She quickly packs a bag and runs away.
On the road she meets Rebel, an alpha male who joined the Knotty Sideshow circus and has been with them for 10 years. He is one of the headliners, performing death-defying stunts on his motorcycle. Rebel happens to be riding his bike when he sees Arina and offers her a ride.
Rebel takes her as far as their circus caravan where she needs to continue to make her own way to her destination. It is there that Arina meets Daze, a beta male who is a talented aerialist. Daze bunks with Night, an alpha, and another one of the show's headliners. Night is a non-verbal magician. The two have been in a situationship for some time, but Night keeps Daze at arms length.
When Arina accidentally finds herself traveling with the circus, Daze essentially takes Arina under his wing. He is kind, caring, and thoughtful. Daze finds himself attracted to Arina, a first for him. Arina is also attracted to Daze, but is cognizant of his relationship with Night. When Daze convinces Arina to speak with Hallow, the ringleader, about joining them, Arina meets Zero.
Zero, an alpha male, is the third and final headliner of the show. He is a psychotic clown who throws knives. He revels in the scent of others' fear. He doesn't want her to join and is all to happy to try to scare her away, all the while drinking in as much of Arina's fear as he can. While Arina wants to leave, she finds she can't. Zero happens to be her scent match and finding your match is almost unheard of.
Pierce quickly captured my attention and kept me engaged throughout. I want to know more about these characters and how they come together. There are some interesting dynamics and complicated relationships. Arina is both feisty and sassy, and I love it. She isn't a meek omega and doesn't back down. I need her to stay with her new found family, but the end of part one suggests maybe that is not what Pierce has in store for her. I have no idea what to expect in part two, but I'm eagerly awaiting its release.
I loved this book but would like to caution readers to review the trigger warnings for this one as there is a fair bit of dark content.
I have been waiting for this, it’s been my most anticipated read of this year and it did not disappoint. Absolutely worth the wait and now I’m chomping at the bit for book 2. I DEVOURED it. And I’m going to go back for a re read.
Arina - Omega in hiding, lets herself be classed as a Beta for safety. She’s sweet, scared and desperate to keep her secret. She’s been sheltered and doesn’t have a lot of experience with friendships so she’s keeping everyone at arms length out of self preservation. Lonely as it is, it’s what’s safest for everyone.
Zero - Alpha - such an Ahole, but I kinda love him. He’s the guy you love to hate. He does some absolutely despicable things to Arina. He is the second in command, wants to take over Knotty Sideshow. Terrorizing Arina into leaving the circus is his new fav pastime.
Revel - Alpha, didn’t like him at first, but he grew on me as the story progressed. He’s the aloof I don’t want you get away from me, but take my sweater with you, you look cold guy. Mixed signals at every turn cuz he doesn’t have a clue what he wants either.
Night - Alpha, we don’t learn too much about him, or any of the Alphas really, in the book and I am so curious about his backstory. We learn a little as to why he is so closed off, and he does takes some BIG steps towards Daze and making amends with him. He’s scary, and on the cusp of going rogue. He NEEDS an omega.
Daze - Beta, such a sweetheart. In a current situationship with Night. He is amazing, funny, caring and thanks to Arina, expanded his horizons with women. My fav so far. #1 in my heart. He takes her under his wing right off the bat and doesn’t look back.
Each of these guys could have their own books me I’d be down to read each one. They are all such complex characters. I love their camaraderie. They act like they don’t all like one another, and at times they absolutely do not, but they are this very complex and dysfunctionally functional family unit/pack.
The spice, ooohhhh, you’re gonna need some cold showers.
From the very first page I was hooked. I adored Three Ring Heat: Part One! I actually devoured it in less than 24 hours because I just could not put it down! And the second I finished I was begging for book two. Sign me up right now because I need to know what happens next (I’m begging you, R. K. Pierce!).
We follow Arina, a hidden omega on the run from her father and the pack he sold her to. Desperate to disappear, she stumbles into the Knotty Sideshow, a circus troupe unlike any other, and convinces the ringleader to let her stay. From there the story takes off with secrets, danger, and complicated connections that had me hooked from start to finish.
The circus setting was such a fun and unique twist, and I loved how it blended with the omegaverse elements. Arina is strong, feisty, and determined, and I was rooting for her every step of the way. Then we have the guys. Revel is a true alphahole, Zero is completely unhinged (and somehow I still wanted more of him although I now have mixed feelings after that cliffhanger), Night is haunted and self-destructive, and Daze… sweet, rainbow-haired Daze stole my heart from the very first scene. Each of them brought something different to the story, and I loved watching how they clashed, connected, and completely messed with my emotions.
The writing style made it so easy to fall into this world. It is addictive, fast-paced, and packed with tension, spice, and surprises. I laughed, I growled in frustration (seriously, some of these guys deserve a throat punch), and then that ending left me reeling. The cliffhanger was brutal in the best way, and I am both dreading and desperate for Part Two.
This book has dark themes, so definitely check the trigger warnings first, but if you are a fan of strong heroines, chaotic alphas, found-family circus vibes, and a whole lot of heat, I highly recommend it. I am already bracing myself for what R.K. Pierce has in store next.
♾️/10 recommend. Now excuse me while I go into a book slump until the sequel drops.
Let me preface by saying I’m not usually an omegaverse girlie, and I’m TERRIFIED of clowns, but this book right here???? Phew.
It’s been no secret I’m a fan of Ms. Pierce’s writing, but this has to be her best solo work yet. We get into the world of understanding the Knotty Sideshow through Arina’s eyes, while learning about her secret designation and her desire to keep it hidden. This desire is so strong, she accidentally found herself sneaking away with the Knotty Sideshow, and finding a way to convince the ringleader to stay, despite two troupe members adamantly trying to scare her into leaving.
Speaking of scaring her, we have Revel who is a true Alphahole, and Zero who is simply unhinged. Revel’s daredevil motorcycle skills are to die for in this book, and Zero’s knife skills had me, to simply put it, panting.
We also have a side situationship going on with Night and Daze. Night is a selectively mute grump, hiding his face with a mask, and then we have his sometimes lover, Daze. The rainbow-haired, golden retriever sweetheart that I fell in love with from the first moment he spoke to Arina.
It takes a lot of talent to be in the heads of 5 completely different personalities, and I wasn’t once disappointed. Three Ring Heat has tension, spice, a strong-willed FMC, dark themes, and a freaking circus act to tie it all in together. I salivated at every chapter, dying to get to the next. I couldn’t read fast enough, nor could R.K. write fast enough for me as I was blessed and lucky enough to Beta read for this story (she can attest to me yelling at her constantly about giving me more chapters).
I’m genuinely obsessed, and I truly cannot wait for part 2 to see how the rest of the story unfolds. 10000/10 recommend.
Please read the trigger warnings as there are dark themes to this book.
I knew this book was going to deliver but I can honestly say it exceeded my expectations. R K Pierce has brought us an omegaverse that is packed with so much but not in a bad way. This story delivers on all fronts and leaves you begging for more. You are drawn into the story and the characters with that pull of wanting to find lout more, you are in a sense trapped in the story as I honestly couldn't out this book down. This is not a sweet omegaverese it has a depth of darkness to it that is brought a bout with some of our male characters who are hard and harsh and yet we have the lightness that comes in the form of Daze.
Arina is an omega on the run, from a pack her father has promised her too. As she ventures out on her own, she does what she needs to too survive and hiding who is really is – an omega attempting to be a beta. Stuck on the road she gets a lift from Revel you drops her off at his next stop which is where he is rejoining the circus. A simple mistake for Arina leads her on a new path with her now being part of the group of circus performers. Arina not only now needs to learn to her new purpose in this situation but needs to navigate her wants and needs as some alpha’s no matter how deep and dangerous they all call to her inner needs with a beta who shows her how to live, while attempting to hide who she really is.
This story brings us alphaholes, a mute mmc, mm, and a beta who realises there is a female who can turn his head.
RK Pierce has delivered in book 1 with introducing us to and building the main characters as well as having the side characters as well to delving in and bringing us a story that is unique and intrigues and draws you in. I cant wait for book 2.
First I want to say thank you for this arc! I was excited when it was first put out that it was being written. I’ve enjoyed the couple of books and short stories in collaboration books. I’ve spent the past couple of days trying to figure out how to write this review.
Overall this book was a easy quick read. While why choose, it didn’t have that deep dark romance vibes I’ve read in other why choose stories.
Overall the multiple MMC characters were interesting. It had the basic brooding alpha vibes. But the one male character Daze you fall instantly in love with! In the beginning I got that submissive style man, but by the end he really stepped away from being timid. While he was still respectful and kind, he also grew with her in finding his own strength to step away from being constantly controlled. The way the author wrote of him I truly enjoyed. While helping the MFC learn new things and find joy in her new life, he as well seemed to start a new life. I’m curious to see how the feelings will form in the following book. For Daze being a beta, it seems his feelings align with what would be a “mate” type bond though it’s mentioned betas don’t find that type of mate? I do wish it touched more on the back stories of all the characters, but knowing there is still more to happen j hope we get to know them all more. The cliffhanger I saw coming but honestly thought it would have been Daze to find out first. Though let’s face it, we all knew at some point she would have gotten caught stealing Zeros shirt 😝
I can’t wait to read the next book to see how it all comes together!
Ohhhhhh buckle up, because Three Ring Heat: Part One by R.K. Pierce has me feral, heart hammering, and absolutely wrecked, in the best way possible. I blazed through this on one hell of a reading binge and now I’m left tangled in alpha fantasies and Omegaverse chaos. If you love danger, perfume scented desperation, circus sideshows with alphas, and a heroine who refuses to be tamed, this is your next obsession.
Arina is doing the most: running, hiding, lying about who she truly is, an omega supposed to be under control, suppressed, and sold off like cattle. But she hops a ride with a travelling circus troupe, and suddenly the risk meter spikes. She’s juggling secrets, scent matches, and an attraction that feels like it might kill her (or redeem her). Her growth? Real. Her fear, her longing, her shame, her bold moments. All of it messy and beautiful. The circus guys, they’re dangerous, broody, mysterious, all wrapped up in leather, lights, and betrayal. Their pain is theirs, their intensity is contagious, and watching them circle Arina like predators (or promises) had my toes curling, heart throttling, and wanting more like a drug.
The tension between the troupe’s allure and the past that hunts Arina is so tight you can feel each beat of her heart echoing in danger. Pierce builds the suspense slow burn, letting the shadows stretch, letting desire bud in stolen looks and near touches, before dropping you into moments of emotional reckoning. There are curveballs, there are threats both outside and within, and every revelation feels like a fever dream. Five stars aren’t enough. Three Ring Heat: Part One yanked me into its carnival of pain, desire, and power and I’m still reeling - already begging for the next part. If you want a dark, urgent, morally messy Omegaverse that lets its characters bleed, burn, and love hard, this one is non-negotiable.
Three Ring Heat is dark, thrilling, and utterly addictive—a high-stakes Omegaverse romance that feels like stepping into a dangerous carnival where every shadow hides temptation.
The heroine’s plight is gripping from the start: sold by her own father to a pack of alphas, she flees in a desperate attempt to carve out her own freedom. Her escape lands her at the Knotty Sideshow, a circus filled with performers who are equal parts mesmerizing and menacing. Running away with the circus should feel like safety, but instead it throws her into the path of alphas who are just as dangerous as the ones she’s escaping… and one of them happens to be her scent match. The tension is electric from the moment she joins the caravan, a delicious mix of fear, longing, and forbidden desire.
What I loved most was the atmosphere—it’s sinister, sensual, and dripping with the kind of danger that makes your pulse race. The circus setting adds a twisted, decadent backdrop to the romance, making every encounter between her and the troupe feel like walking a tightrope without a net. The chemistry sizzles, the stakes are high, and the looming threat of her past catching up keeps you on edge the whole way through.
Three Ring Heat is about survival, desire, and the impossible balance of hiding your true self while being tempted by those who see right through you. If you love Omegaverse, forbidden bonds, and a dark carnival atmosphere that will leave you breathless, this one deserves a spot at the top of your TBR.
Well I’m a sucker….that cliff hanger! I hate cliff hangers but this story had me hook line and sinker from page 1.
Arina what a name am I right? Fits perfectly with our circus environment. She is complex for an omega not very shy and way to brave compared to most omega designations. I love her. She is giving as good as she gets and not letting night, revel, or zero take her for all she’s worth by any means!
Revel is my favorite at this point he has the whole I’m mean but inside I’m a cinnamon roll and just don’t know how to be anything but mean vibes. Night is almost feral and afraid to loose himself to the brain rot but after his past I get it and I need to know more about why he’s got broken bond. Zero is just plain psychotic but I won’t lie he’s got me panting because he’s the scent match? Like what kind of screwed up karma is poor arina stuck with that guy and literally addicted to him! Daze is seriously the hunking sweet man child that I think everyone needs in their corner whether it’s relationship status or friendship status but to be both is seriously out of this world arina is a lucky lucky omega in this screwed up omega verse! Having all of them at her beck and call would save her from more than the past she’s running from…
I need answers and I am bitting my nails waiting for part two because chefs kiss I love the circus and this book is now a number one recommend for me!

Step right up, sinners and freak-lovers, because RK Pierce just unleashed an omegaverse circus so knotty, feral, and filthy it should come with a warning label and a mop. 😮💨
Three Ring Heat is pure, decadent chaos—and I ate up every depraved second. An omega on the run? A sexy, sinister troupe of alphas dripping with danger and temptation? A secret designation, a scent match, and enough tension to snap a damn highwire? YES. ALL OF THAT.
This isn’t your sweet fated-mate story. This is dark, messy, and gloriously unhinged. We’re talking: • 🎪 Circus freaks with filthy mouths • 💋 MMFMM dynamics that will make you sweat • 🔥 Kink, claiming, and more heat than a center ring spotlight • 🍒 A fierce omega who’s done being prey
And that scent match? Mmmm. Let’s just say when that alpha catches a whiff, we’re no longer playing games—we’re playing ownership. And the way the pack moves around her, stakes their territory, and growls their desires? Baby, it’s a performance worth a standing ovation.
RK Pierce balances feral spice with razor-edged vulnerability. Yes, there are triggers (check them), but there’s also fire, fight, and one seriously compelling omega who’s finally learning she’s not weak—she’s wanted.
If you love your omegaverse freaky, filthy, and full of delicious danger, Three Ring Heat will have you begging for the next act.
Arina needs to get away. She can’t believe her father did that to her by selling her to a pack. As an omega, she should have a choice who she wants to pack up with and her father should want the best for her. But no, he didn’t. So she did what any logical omega in her position would do, pack a bag complete with her suppressants and leave. Will she get far enough away? Will the pack her father sold her to find her? Will she ever be safe?
This was a fun start to a new series. Arina’s character has to go through some growth as she figures out what she’s going to do and where she’s going to go. The alphas she ends up running into are so easy to dislike as they have their own issues. Daze, the beta, is so so sweet. His character is such a sweet contrast to the alphas we meet. This book does end on a cliffy and I can’t wait to read the next book as I didn’t want this book to end.
I loved Arina, daze, night and revel….zero is the psycho clown you love to hate. Arina our desperate omega running for her freedom, and possibly her life. Revel is our stuntman. He’s angry and possibly scared, but is there a big protective streak waiting to come out? Daze is a sweetheart who always thought he was gay and discovers maybe he’s actually bi. Night is our broken masked alpha, we didn’t get a huge amount of Night in this first half just enough to let you know enough about him to actually be in his cheer squad. And Zero. The power hungry psycho clown. The arsehole to make all other arseholes not seem so bad. The first half of this duet was captivating and I couldn’t put it down. I hope everyone enjoys this twisted sideshow as much as me. I can’t wait to see how the second half of this story pans out. Will we see the whole sideshow stand with Arina? Will Zero end up grovelling at her feet? Or maybe he will put those knives to use in protecting his new circus pet.
