Lore's mother marries a demon who is leader of a cult, of course they don't know that.
They move to the small town.
Lore have bad feelings towards the town, until she sees her new stepbrother, Titus.



Titus, is half demon, half human, since his mother was human.
When he turned eighteen, she was given as a sacrifice, as Titus was a man at that age.
He never forgave his father, so he plans his death.



When he sees Lore, the plans he had may be ruined.
He knows he is going to do everything to save Lore (she is a virgin, of course...).
Titus's father wants her to be offered as a sacrifice.



Titus tries to scare her off to leave town, but she's in love with him, so she won't leave him.
Now, Titus has to choose between Lore or his vengeance.



Will Titus trust her with his secrets and who he really his?
Will Lore trust him to safe her?

PNR meeting tabo0 - step-siblings trope? Yes, please.
This was interesting, creepy, and fast. The attraction between the characters was instantaneous. The very first time their gazes met, both of their minds shifted on their axes to focus on each other. I am not sure if it was supposed to be insta-love, but that was exactly what it ended to be. I enjoyed a lot the pnr, cultist, and horror themes. Especially the Elder One.

From my perceptive, for the step-siblings trope, this didn’t work much. The mcs knew each other less than a day before they acted on their lust. Even if they didn’t have the abovementioned type of relationship, the plot would have worked out exactly the same.

Also, considering that a major part of the novella was based on pnr and spice, these were quite timid. I needed more of the devil side of Titus and a bit more darkness. I liked the characters and I enjoyed their chemistry but they needed more time to flourish. The length of the novella didn’t uphold them and although they seemed like complex characters, in the end they felt shallow.

Did I like it? Yes.
Would I reread it? No.

I went into this not really knowing what to expect... and I wasn't a fan. Don't get me wrong, the writing is great, the storyline is interesting, but something just didn't work with this novella. The main characters didn't have any chemistry with each other.

This is a about a cult and sacrifices. Titus and Lore are new stepsiblings. Titus does everything he can to run Lore out of town or else her and her mom will be the new sacrifices to the Jersey Devil.

Lorelei Brooks had no choice but to move to a small town after her mum married a man she barely knew. Soon enough she noticed there was something different about the town, and her new stepbrother, Titus Leeds.



This book had potential with an interesting theme; however, I felt it wasn’t fully explored. For a short novella, the first half was too slow for my liking. Considering the content warning on the blurb, the rest was very mild.

Damn. I was mostly into paranormal romance novels, but I’d read a few taboo stepbrother books in my time. I almost regretted obtaining that kind of kink, now that it was more applicable to my life than I ever thought it would be.

Step Devil is a story of breaking free. It might appeal to readers who enjoy a light paranormal romance novella.

Whew. This is 🥵🥵🥵 the plot is solid esp considering how short it is. I honestly hope Aiden writes more about these 2. Thats how good the plot was. Is it alot of smut? Yes absolutely but the characters are gooood and left me wantong more of them.

I'm on the fence with this one. Had it been longer, then probably a 2 star. Originally a standalone so ends properly. I liked Lore and Titus, but it was pretty much insta love and did have questionable scenes. How was she not sleeping with the door locked and naked in a new house? Nope. Culty vibes and I struggle with cults, this should've been a halloween read for me but I put it off. Ended as expected. Probably not going to read the second one.

demon/devil smut is officially my favourite type of smut all thanks to this book. god was it ever hot with a good mix of plot involved.

Lorelei's mom has just remarried and decided to move them both to a little town called Bishop. Little do they know that this town harbors evil, and once they enter, they won't be allowed to leave.

I have some mixed feelings about this book. I loved the step-brother romance and the fact that it was a little different than normal ones. We have the added paranormal trope, with Titus being a half-demon and a cult following of the Elder One (aka the Jersey Devil). The steam between Titus and Lore is perfect and I wish there was just a little more in it, because the author did it perfectly. There was a great blend of plot to spice and it made the book just fly by.

My one problem is that I wanted the plot a little more fleshed out. I wanted to know more about Bishop, about Titus and his dad, about the Elder One and see more of Titus and Lore getting to know each. Everything was so rushed that I feel like important details were missed.

Aiden killed it with this book! I loved every minute of it and it was a MASTERPIECE!
The Chemistry was instant and very much electric!
Lore! She loves to tease him and their banter was funny! She was never afraid of him, she wanted him from the very beginning.
Titus! The need he has to protect her the instant he laid his eyes on her was so good!. He tried so hard to make her hate him but it never worked.

Loved it!
The perfect short, dark and spicy read! There was suspense and yummy steam!
I loved both Lore and Titus. The chemistry is hot and we get both their POVs. I think their relationship is a great beginning to be a potential full story. I would love to get more from them both! I really enjoyed it!

Step Devil is the first book in this duet and it's spicy, haunting and will suck you into a world of demons, cults and unconventional romance.

Lore finds herself in a creepy town when her mother marries a man she barely knows and also ends up with a step-brother, who upon first meeting, makes her want to surrender everything to the sexy as hell male. Titus might make her want to jump into bed with him but she also knows he's everything she should probably stay away from.

Titus is half-demon, half-human because his mother was human and an unwilling sacrifice to the demon his father serves. Since the night his mother was taken from him, he has vowed to exact revenge on his father. However, Titus is unprepared for Lore and what starts as revenge on his father turns into also protecting Lore. He wants Lore to willingly give her soul to him and ONLY HIM so they can be tied together forever.

Despite trying to scare Lore off, she decides Titus is it for her and the two of them will have to go up against evil to get their HEA.

“Don’t worry, Gloria. I am taking your daughter. But I’m taking her for myself. Her soul is to be mine, not the Jersey Devil’s.”

Step Devil was short and spicy with a little bit of plot. I really liked Titus and his monsterly monsterness and Lore was strong yet vulnerable for Titus. Overall, a really hot monster romance that I enjoyed.
