Cold Redemption

Rate this book
Spring 1948: As the Cold War intensifies, CIA agent John Sedo travels home on board a Lockheed Constellation, fresh from his first successful mission in Czechoslovakia. Yet, the war has only just begun; John faces his most dangerous conflict – the one within himself.

Torn between his dark urge and a longing for something pure, John finds himself irresistibly drawn to the enchanting singer Allison Lakehill. She offers a haven of the light he craves, but his world of espionage and danger is no place for innocence. In a desperate bid to keep her safe, he tries to push her away. Allison sees through his deceit and his carefully built walls come crumbling down.

Shadows grow deeper and enemies close in – John realizes he must navigate a rising tide of peril. Without the guidance of his army colonel mentor, he and his fellow agents risk being entrapped by insurgents, pushed to their limits while struggling to retain their humanity amidst the escalating spy games.

With communists circling Italy like sharks and the Iron Curtain drawing ever closer, John Sedo must race against time – not only to save a continent, but also to redeem himself in the eyes of the woman he cannot forget.

I was born in Aalborg, Denmark in 1980 and am currently working as an airline captain for a large European carrier. My flying career began in 2006 and eventually took me to Berlin, Germany where I have lived since 2007 and still do.

I have had a dream of writing novels for well over twenty years, but it was only in 2023 that I finally went through with it. 'Cold Subterfuge'was the first in the series and 'Cold Redemption' the next.

The third novel in the series is expected in May/June 2025.

a Captivating Read

It was fun to read a book that took place in the late 1940’s in a country that no longer exists. This book is part suspense and romance and parts romance, with mystery riddled throughout. It was a really great novel that I’d recommend.
