As a rock star topping the charts, I'm used to my life being a non-stop show.
But this Christmas, I'm trading stadium lights for twinkling stars in my hometown of Blue Flag, New York.

My parents' quaint mountain bed and breakfast is a far cry from the Hollywood hills, but it's exactly the escape I need.
Accompanying me on this yuletide retreat are two people who keep my world Bryn, my best friend and personal assistant, and her twin brother Kade—my silent, smoldering bodyguard who's had my heart racing since our teen years.

One of my favorite comfort authors never fails to deliver a happily ever after, filled with adorable romance and characters I adore. I have to admit, though, that rock star or celebrity characters usually aren't my cup of tea, and I often shy away from the best friend's brother or childhood friend to lovers tropes. But the fact that he’s a bodyguard? Now that’s something I can appreciate.

Gia is an incredibly relatable character, constantly overwhelmed by stress and the relentless media attention on her recent breakup. Feeling lost and in desperate need of a break, her journey is one many can empathize with. Kade, a former Navy SEAL, is serious and stoic, dedicated to his job but burdened by the trauma he relives daily. His character, too, strikes a chord with readers, making their stories both compelling and heartfelt.

Evie excels at creating characters you might not like initially but grow to love by the end. With a dual POV and a sweet, clean romance, she knows exactly how to craft an engaging story. Despite my initial reservations, I truly enjoyed this book, and the writing style is both enjoyable and easy to get through!

This was a sweet Christmas romance that was a perfect first read of the holiday season for me. I adored Gia and Kade's romance and loved following their journey from friends to lovers. This was fun, it was cute and I had a fun time while reading it. It really short so I was able to read it in one day which was nice plus the pacing is fast which I loved as well. I loved watching them with their friends and family and just the bond that they all have. Just a feel good romance that is great for Christmas time. Definitely recommend picking this one up.

A sweet Christmassy small town romance, between Rockstar Gia, and her friend and bodyguard Kade. This had lots of cosy tropes including best friend's brother, grumpy and sunshine, forced proximity, snowed in, and sweet Christmas moments including kisses under the mistletoe.
It seems everyone around them can see how they feel about each other, but they are oblivious or too scared to say it out loud. Instead they bicker and wind each other up, and steal secret glances when they think no-one is looking.
Sometimes it takes a bit of jealousy, and an ex to stir things up.

I absolutely loved this book. It was just what I needed at the time.

Evie always does a good job at creating characters who you might not like at the beginning but love by the end.

I love me a snowed in Holiday romance and I can definitely add Kade to my list of book boyfriends.

I really connected with Gia too and found her super relatable.

Gia is a rock star. Her best friend Bryn is her personal assistant and Kade, Bryn's brother who was a navy seal is her bodyguard. Gia has recently broken up with her boyfriend and when he releases a new song about her, she just wants to head home to Blue Flag, New York to spend Christmas at her parent's B&B. The problem is that Kade and Bryn have bad memories of Blue Flag and don't want to return. Gia pulls rank and tells them they have to come because they are under contract. Gia wants to spend Christmas with them, especially as she has had feelings for Kade for years. When they arrive at the B&B, her parents need to pick up some things from the next town, and a blizzard keeps them away and everyone at the B&B stranded without heat and hydro. Things begin to sizzle between Gia and Kade, especially when somehow, Gia's ex shows up. Kade is jealous, especially as he also has feelings for Gia. Will they finally act on those feelings?

Jingle Bell Rock & Roll is a fun, sweet, clean, romance. Although Gia is a rock star, she isn't a diva and is very relatable. Once home, she digs in and helps her parents. She even throws an impromptu rock show with her ex. I wanted to know why Kade was so against going home to Blue Flag and when it is shared, I felt so bad for both him and Bryn. Kade also dealt with a lot of trauma when he was involved in a serious incident while a navy seal and all these things add up to have him guarding his feelings carefully. This was a sweet Christmas romance told through both Kade's and Gia's POV. It is a story with themes of grief, disappointment, dreams, friendship, love, romance, family and more. Although it was a novella, it was a complete and enjoyable story.

I am a sucker for hallmark movies and Holiday romance novels so I knew I needed to read this series! And it’s never too early to start!
The story follows a rockstar named Gia and her friend/bodyguard Kade.
Watching their story unfold was so cute, and watching them fight the feelings they had for each other felt so real. Everyone around them knew before they did, or they were willing to admit. But it was so cute and so wholesome.
This book had some of my favorite tropes, forced proximity, best friend’s boyfriend, grumpy x sunshine. And this is perfect for people who like closed door romances. There were some kisses and that was it. I know there are a lot of clean romance girlies out there so this series would be perfect for you!! 😍
This is a standalone in the series, but I can already tell. I’m going to love every single one of them so I will be reading.

Oh my, I love this book so much. Kade and Gia are just perfection I tell you.

Swoon I tell you. Gia is a famous singer and Kade is her bodyguard, a former SEAL and also her best friend’s twin brother. She had a break up a bit back and at the end of her concert, she finds out her ex released an album and this brought all the paps asking questions about that relationship taking away from her concert.

Gia decides with her best friend Bryn to head back to their hometown Blue Flag to spend Christmas, except Kade says will never go back because of his past. But finally gets convinced to go.

While back home, you can just tell they each have feelings for each other but don't think the other feels the same. Gah, this book is so cute and sweet. Will Kade and Gia figure a way to let the other know how they feel? Read this sweet Christmas story to find out.

This is the third time I have read Evie's work. The third time I've been captivated by her sweet and clean romance. I absolutely adored this book. As always the characters are charming and they all work well together in the scope of the story. Gia and Kade are just adorable. I was totally in their corner the whole way through. The story was written in third person from Gia and Kade's POV. The novel has excellent structure and was very well written. The pace of the novel was just right. Not too fast and not too slow for me. I loved that. This novel has really got me in the mood for more Christmas reads, I look forward to reading the rest in the series. I also look forward to reading more from Evie. She's becoming one of my favourite authors. I can't recommend this novel enough.

I have been excited about this series since the cover reveals. They instantly put you in the mood for the holidays. This is the first book in a multi author series and what a way to kick it off!

I instantly loved Gia’s personality, she just seems like a person who can connect to anyone. It’s probably why she is so good at her job. And we all know I love a grump. Kade brings the closed off grump to this story and he also will have you swooning over his protectiveness. You will be rooting for these two from the very beginning. This is a dual pov, clean romance.

I really enjoyed Gia and Kade but also all the other characters in this story. I love a holiday romance and I thought this was very well written. My only complaint is that I wish it was longer!

This was my first read from Evie Sterling but I will definitely be reading more from her in the future.

I have read sooo many books by Evie and I am thrilled I got to ARC read another one! This time a cute Christmas story!

Gia
She is a musician who stresses about everything and I mean everything. From how will her show go to what she will have to dinner, to even how much taxes she will owe. Her best friend is her personal assistant and she's very close with her parents. She some what recently broke up with her musician boyfriend and that's all that the world seems to focus on. She needs away from it all. She is seriously such a caring and loving person.

Kade
He is a former Navy Seal, now bodyguard for Gia. He is twins with Bryn (Gia's best friend). The two of them clearly went through something traumatic. He is a man of few words but a heart of gold. He has a lot to learn and grow on but he isn't afraid to admit that and want to do the work. He is honestly still trapped in time when his world fell apart.

The clear love they have for each other but hide from the world is so intense. I absolutely love that they understood and accepted eachother for who they are. She shows all her feelings and doesn't hold back and he hides everything and says the wrong thing. They balance eachother so perfectly.

The EX stuff surprised me and I honestly was so shocked and happy because I legit thought this was going to be male Rockstar and small town female type story. It being female Rockstar and male bodyguard made my heart soar because who doesn't love a protective man who lets you be you!

The family and friends and the group they had at the inn were seriously so amazing. I loved all the little scenes and I'm so glad they were included.

Lack of communication makes me yell at my book so much haha. Yes yes I know they are hiding their feelings but I just want to get a bunch of animals and sing kiss the girl 🤣 Evie did such a great job with it though. She kept you at the edge of your sear wondering when it would happen without making you actually annoyed by misunderstandings etc. I always love her books and I'm so glad I got to read this one.

A sweet clean romance between a pop star and her body guard who is the twin brother of her personal assistant and both good friends since childhood. It deals with holding in one’s emotions, one’s true feelings, until you just can’t anymore. A charming Christmastime story of pop star Gia DeLuca dealing with the fallout of an ex-boyfriend scandalized by the paparazzi, seeking peace and familiarity in her quaint small town of Blue Flag, NY, surrounded by her loving mom and dad with her best friends Byrn, her personal assistant, and Kade, also her bodyguard. Yet Kade has strong feelings about being back in Blue Flag because of his and Bryce’s estranged relationship with their dad who lives there. More emotions that will need to be dealt with before the story ends.
This author does a marvelous job with character development. One way is how the characters describe themselves. My favorite scene is when Kade suggests to Gia that they switch places in the emotional vulnerability department after Gia makes this statement, “Like…I can’t hold anything back the way other people can. That’s why I write music, why I sing. I’m throwing everything out there all the time for everyone to see. The vulnerability is exhausting.” while he has been holding all his emotions in. He admits, “I can't watch you be with anyone again... I want it to be me,” Kade says. “I’ve wanted it to be me for a long, long time. And I can’t keep it in anymore." Could this be the turning point for them? This is the first book in the multi-author Sweet Christmas Kisses series and it’s my opinion that it starts the series in a very delightful way paving the way for lots of Christmas joy yet to come.

Jingle Bell Rock and Roll is a cozy holiday romance that hits all the right notes! Gia, a rock star who’s always stressed about something, is trying to escape the chaos of her life—especially after a public breakup with her musician ex. So, she heads to her family’s inn in Blue Flag, NY, hoping for a quiet, holiday reset. With her is her best friend Bryn and Bryn’s broody twin brother, Kade, who also happens to be Gia’s bodyguard.

Kade is a former Navy SEAL who’s been through a lot and doesn’t talk much, but his protective, quiet strength is so swoon-worthy. He’s got a heart of gold and is willing to work on himself, but he’s clearly still stuck in the past. Meanwhile, Gia is the total opposite—she’s open and expressive, which makes their dynamic so fun to watch. The chemistry between them is undeniable, even though they’ve been hiding their feelings for years.

What I loved most about this story is that it flipped the typical rockstar romance trope on its head. Instead of the usual male rockstar/small-town girl combo, we get a female rockstar and her strong, silent bodyguard. It was such a refreshing change! Plus, who doesn’t love a man who lets you be yourself while fiercely protecting you at the same time?

The setting and side characters were such a great addition. The inn and small-town holiday vibes made everything feel warm and inviting. Bryn and the rest of the group had such sweet, genuine moments that added depth to the story. Every scene with them felt like a big hug.

Overall, this book is the perfect feel-good, clean romance with just the right amount of tension and heart. If you’re looking for a warm, holiday love story with swoon-worthy characters and a touch of Christmas magic, Jingle Bell Rock and Roll is the book for you!

This is a very sweet love story between a rock star that is topping the charts Gia and her bodyguard Kade. They have loved each other since they were teenagers but never found the nerve to let the other one know of their feelings. Kade has a twin sister Bryn, and she keeps their worlds turning as she is Gia's personal assistant as well as her best friend. They all grew up in the little town of Blue Flag, New York. Bryn and Kade lost their mother at a young age and their dad seemed to die with her out of grief, so Gia's parents had become like their own. Usually, Gia's parents met them on the road for Christmas but this year they decided to go back home. The girls were looking forward to the trip, but Kade had to be told he was the bodyguard and Gia needed him to get him to tag along with that chip on his shoulder and bad attitude. They had not been home in years nor had any contact with their dad in a decade. Gia's parents had a quaint mountain bed and breakfast that was exactly the escape they all needed.

Kade was a former Navy Seal until he got hurt ending his military career. He has scars on his back from the accident, but he is still one very handsome man. He is always exercising when he is not needed to play bodyguard. Due to his height and build he has always taken care of me and kept me safe.

They get to the B&B just in time for a snowstorm to hit that knock out power and keep them all indoors. They all had to stay in the main house as the generator did not help with the cabins on the property. And to make it even worse Gia's x-boyfriend showed up with a reservation that his agent had made so he did not know the inn was Gia's parents.

As much as I love summer, I fully enjoy the Christmas season and am so excited to be nearing that time of year! The holiday books are beginning to release and my first of the season is this amazing story by Evie! One of my favorite comfort authors, I know she will always deliver a happily ever after, adorable romance, and characters I love. If you like Hallmark Christmas movies, this is definitely a book for you!

Gia is an overall stressor, something I can relate to! With the media only focusing on her recent breakup, she feels lost. With the breakup being all the world is focusing on, she needs a break.
Kade is a former Navy Seal. Serious and stoic, he takes his job seriously, but also puts a lot of pressure on himself and the trauma he relives daily.

Gia and Kade can’t have feelings for each other. Kade is Gia’s body guard and her best friend’s brother. There is too many complications already surrounding their relationship. Their chemistry flows with ease and although you know it’s coming, you still can’t wait for the moment they give in to each other! With witty banter, moments that make your heart skip a beat, and truly wanting what is best for each other, Gia and Kade are hard to not love!

A well written story, as always, by Evie, that will put you in the mood to put on Christmas carols and get ready for the most wonderful time of year! I look forward to the rest of the stories in this series and think that Evie did a terrific job with the first book.

This book by Evie Sterling has me all a gush it’s the sweetest most perfect holiday read that’s so much more than just mush. And I don’t mean the snow , my heart’s all aglow and full of warming feel of the couple especially the man who is ever so charming .The premise is simple , and feeling real ,the message sublime . This Christmas there’s a hope that everyone has a good time. Jingle Bells Rock and Roll is certainly not droll. Gia takes her bodyguard Kade home for Christmas along with her best friend his sister Bryn . He’s not so thrilled at having to face the town of Blue Flag and his dad not eliciting a grin , and it’s a little bit sad the reason is clear and this the reason he’s not in good cheer .But Gia and the snow has him all aglow even though he’s chucked out of the main house in a cabin all on his own some, he’s no longer glum when he confesses he’s in love with his chum . Just as they’re settling in for a Silent Night of delight the Jingle Bells are no longer rocking when her dang ex comes a knocking! I absolutely adore Evie Sterling’s writing . There’s no surprise that this Christmas story has all the charming, the sweet characters even the smarmy one or too. I absolutely ADORED this brilliant book and so will you , just take a look and see for yourself , why I have this first book of the season on my shelf . Gia is a world-renowned pop star who wants a break from reality for the holidays. With her best friend Bryn and personal bodyguard Kade in tow, they head back to Blue Flag, NY. But this holiday turns out to be anything but the Christmas she was expecting.

The last thing Kade expected was to become the bodyguard of his twin sister's best friend, Gia. Even more unexpected is Gia’s ultimatum for him to follow her back to their hometown - the last place he said he would ever return to.

This novel would make the perfect Hallmark Christmas movie. It has everything you could want in a romance story, hidden feelings, a best friend brother, and an ex-boyfriend who always reappears at the worst time possible.

Everything about this story screams Christmas, which is exactly what I was hoping for in a Christmas-themed novel. Evie did an amazing job of transporting you up the mountainside in December, where you could hear the fire crackling in the fireplace, smell the home-cooked meals, and feel the cold of the snow coming down around you.

Reading Gia and Kade tiptoe around their feelings for one another helped bring this story to life. They are the definition of opposites attract. The secondary characters perfectly complimented the story and helped to bring everything full circle.

I would love to see this novel turned into a series, with the supporting characters finding their own HEA.

I absolutely loved this story! It has all of the Taylor vibes but set in a small town. At Christmas. In an inn. Snowed in. This story instantly put me in my Christmas romance era.

Super pop star Gia is finishing up a leg of her world tour with her best friend and PA, Bryn and Bryn's boody twin, Kade, who is Gia's bodyguard. Gia is feeling a bit nostalgic this Christmas as her parents are unable to come to California to spend the holiday with her. They are fully booked at their small upstate New York inn. Impulsively, Gia decides to go home to Blue Flag, NY for Christmas. It's easy to convince Bryn, but Kade doesn't want to go back home as he and Bryn are estranged from their father, who lives in Blue Flag as well. But Kade will do anything for Gia, so he makes the trip.

Gia has had feelings for Kade for years, but since he is her bodyguard and friend, she is reluctant to make a move just in case he doesn't reciprocate her feelings or if things get weird if they don't work out. Everyone else, of course, knows these two are in love, which makes all of the cute matchmaking steps adorable!

This is a sweet, kisses only love story, but the emotions and longing shines through clearly. I can't recommend this book highly enough if you are a fan of feel good holiday romances.

Ahh, nothing like a little Christmas novella to get me in the mood for fall and Christmas. This was a cute read and is part of a new series called the Sweet Christmas Kisses Series.

This book did just that! Evie Sterling is a favorite of mine and I just love her romances. They are cute, fun, adventurous and unique. In this one we meet Gia, a rockstar trading in the stadium lights for a quiet Christmas. Then we have Kade, her best friend’s brother and her bodyguard. You can guess the rest 😘.

Gia is finishing the first leg of her world tour at home in LA before Christmas but her ex boy friend releases an album that tries to draw attention away from her and toward him by doing so. Deciding to avoid the publicity she and her two close friends all go back to their home town for Christmas. However, things get complicated when her ex boyfriend shows up there at her parents inn and her parents are stranded in a neighboring town because of a blizzard for a few days before Christmas. Her two best friends are ones she grew up with and are brother and sister and Gia and Bryn have been like sisters since they were kids! Kade and Gia have had feelings for each other but have never felt the other felt the same way. Now being thrown together with Gia’s ex finally makes Kade take a bold step to tell Gia how he feels about her!

This is a sweet romantic cozy story set against a blizzard background but told with the feelings anyone who has been in love can readily relate to! The uncertainty, the feelings of rejection, of humiliation. We’ve all been there!

I enjoyed this delightful story and the subplot of the twins in thinking of trying to reach out to their dad after so many years to reestablish contact again after the death of their mother. I recommend this book as one I know you’ll enjoy and one that will put you in the Christmas spirit as love touches the lives of four people in this story and changes their lives forever!

I know you’ll enjoy this story as much as I did!!

There is nothing I love better than a small town Christmas romance. This one read like the perfect Hallmark movie.

Gia is a hot pop star, who is easily recognizable anywhere she goes. Her assistant is her best friend, Bryn and her bodyguard is Bryn's twin brother, Kade. These three have known each other for a very long time. Gia really wants to go home to Blue Flag for Christmas, but for some reason, Kade is adamant that they will not return to Blue Flag. When some things happen, it becomes necessary for Gia to get out of the public. A return home to Blue Flag seems like the perfect place. Bryn has no problem tagging along. Gia insists that Kade abide by his contract and come with her as her bodyguard. They plan to spend Christmas with her parents at their small bed and breakfast. Kade is not a happy man.

Suffice it to say nothing goes according to plan. Kade is fighting his feelings for Gia, and now there are some unexpected guests at the inn. Add in a blizzard and and you have the perfect Christmas story or what could be a disaster in the making.

These characters will totally capture your heart in this enchanting love story filled with so many unforgettable scenes. This was one of those melt your heart stories filled with knock your socks off chemistry between characters. This superbly written, charming story will steal your heart and your evening as you blow through the pages.

It is a cute, festive romance featuring rock star Gia, who’s desperate for a break from the limelight. She goes to her parent’s inn in Blue Flag, NY with her best friend Bryn and the twin brother of Bryn, Kade who is a grumpy, brooding, bodyguard. With a history of unspoken feelings, Gia and Kade grow closer when a blizzard traps them inside, but their blossoming romance gets complicated when Gia’s ex-boyfriend shows up.

This story is packed with all your favorite Christmas tropes; forced proximity, snowed in, grumpy and sunshine, best friend’s brother, and of course mistletoe kisses. Everybody can see Gia and Kade are attracted to each other but the two are always arguing and stealing glances at each other. It’s a slow-burn love story with just the right amount of tension and holiday charm.

Kade is incredibly sweet and how he just wants to protect Gia and her carefree personality is so fun to read. They both have a past and lingering feelings that enhance their connection, and the story forces them into closeness, making them face their feelings. The dynamic between these two keeps you engrossed all through!

At just under 200 pages, this is a cute and simple love story in the Sweet Christmas Kisses Series. It’s great for anyone looking to read a holiday romance complete with Christmas magic, lovely moments and a spot of excitement.

☁︎ Last read of 2024 and let me tell you it didn't disappoint at all!! I love this book so much!! It had me soaring and it was so cozy. The side characters are to die for! I absolutely adore this book and everything about it. By far one of my favorite books that is a cute cozy clean romance! I can't hype this book up enough tbh!
