So I'm basically a big fan of this series. And this 4th book was everything and more. I knew that Weylyn was going to just be completely problematic, but I was soooo ready for it. Maybe it's my mood, but I was rooting for more chaos... yes? No? Anyways, his character arc just made sense, though. I love that he's the Fae everyone hates, but they need him, so they put up with him. Every time he did something unhinged, I giggled. So basically, if you're in the mood for a morally black MMC, then you'll enjoy this book.

Now Bryson was just as dark but was in so much denial. She was the new character being introduced, and we get to see her internal struggle a lot more than Weylyn. Seeing her journey was glorious. Is she predator or prey? In the end, I think she made the choice that was best for her.

I highly recommend this series for fans of dark fantasy romance, elemental magic, fated mates, or found family. If you read the other books in the series, then you're ready for this one. If not, here's the reading order...

A Song of Air by Aleera Anaya Ceres is a high fantasy and book 4 in the Fae Elementals series. Dare I say it... this may be my favorite! This one follows Bryson. The resistance has caught up to her, but something goes wrong, and she is sent through a portal along with her mate.

I was so excited when I found out who this book was about because I'd always been intrigued by this Fae and his connection to another Fae. I was super excited for the unhinged moments of this book that I knew would be coming, and they were just so damn good. I mean, a Fae who hates everyone but her? Give me 10 of them now! This story has revenge written all over it. It's action-packed. You get some surprises. The mind play!!! Omg! So damn hot. I'm excited to see where the next book takes us!

Somehow it just keeps getting better

I think this is actually my favorite book in the series! Which is funny because after each book I always think the MC’s of that book are my favorite. I knew there was layers to Weylyn and knew only a special character could be his mate and Bryson did not disappoint! I can’t wait for the next book. I hope Valerio is next to get his mate. He could use it right now. All in all 5/5 can’t wait to see how the story progresses.

I LOVE this series, and the ongoing story has me HOOKED. This book quickly became my favorite of the series. I am a little biased since Weylyn is BAE but both him and Bryson are the BEST! She also became my favorite FMC so far. The plot will have you hooked and the spice is 🔥🔥🔥

If you love fantasy/fae novels, you NEED to read this series!

What a great addition to series love these two characters, their trauma and journey. Totally different from rest of series and yet still part of the overall plot in a meaningful way. Hope it’s not so long to next one!

I didn't need to skip any parts of this book! Hooray! Still check the content warnings for yourself. There was no DV or SA.
This might be the most fascinating Elemental yet. I love how the author moved the story. And George is back!
My sadness is that book 5 is not out!
