This is a well written Christmas romance with strong characters in Daniel and Rosalind. The author does a great job developing the story and paints her scenes perfectly. It's a sweet holiday story, moves quickly and smoothly and is an enjoyable read.
I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book. All opinions in this review are my own and are freely given.
Boring, he almost killed me. . Everything I saw was blah, blah, blah... The heroes didn't even have any personality, they were dull... boring... A book not worth wasting your time on. Both of them talked like they were in their 60 or 70.
This book was just lovely from start to finish! I loved the simple beauty in the romance to the reminder of what being home really means at Christmas! I loved the characters and the ambiance of the small island life in the North East! I truly enjoyed this story!
Thank you to the author for this story, all thoughts and opinions are my own.
A sweet Christmas season story to put you in the proper holiday mood! Daniel is a prominent surgeon but had a patient die under his care and was sued. He was cleared of any wrongdoing but his reputation and friends deserted him. He decides to leave the city before Christmas to “find himself” and ends up on a small island in the Atlantic. There he meets a woman younger than him but one who is vivacious and outgoing who seems to instill joy and happiness in all the people she meets on the island. It doesn’t take long for her “magic” to change his outlook in life as well as he thinks of this quieter life and wonders if he could be happy here away from the city where he’s lived all his life. When Rosalind’s grandfather gets ill during the night she comes to him for help and he responds. They invite him to Christmas dinner and during the dinner a blizzard blows in and he has to stay overnight with them. When Roz is injured he knows he feels more than just a passing interest in her and tells her he will return to her when he takes care of things back in the city. He does return and sets up a practice as the new doctor in town and asks her to marry him. However, more good news follows later when his mother decides to move to the island to be with them and her soon to be grandchildren and tells him she wants him to take over the family business so he’ll need to get another doctor to run the clinic.
This is a wonderful story of how a young woman’s positive outlook on life helped turn around a man who has had his world upended by a lawsuit over the death of a patient he was caring for. It showed him unfortunately that all those “friends” he thought he had weren’t really true friends after all as they all abandoned him in his hour of need! He finds someone who likes him for himself, not for his money or who he is or his status but he as a person. He’s quite taken back that in this island away from the city people are happy not engaged in the hectic life of the city!
I throughly enjoyed this delightful story and enthusiastically recommend it as well as the previous first book in this new series as ones I know you’ll enjoy! These stories will make the Christmas season that much more special as they’ll bring love and joy in your life as you read during that special season when we celebrate HIM whose day it is!
I know you’ll enjoy these books as much as I have!

☁︎ This was such a cute, cozy holiday romance book. Now i am typically a girly who enjoys her spice but honestly this book made me just enjoy all the sweetness of the character and the family ties. The romance was fast paced and moved quite quick in the last few chapters but it was still so swoon-worthy. I honestly wish their was a "cheesy Hallmark" version of this book! This book deserves it!

A Doctor's Snowed In Christmas Wish is the second book in the Sweet Christmas Kisses series. This is a multi-author collection of standalone novels that can be read as standalones or in any order.
This was a really sweet holiday romance! This felt very much like a Hallmark Christmas movie on the pages, in the best ways possible. It had that great smalltown, family feeling with all the Christmas cheer and tradition and a beautiful love story, of course. Daniel won me over right away with his quick defense of Rosalind when she was still just a stranger. I loved that! The two immediately clicked... and bonded even more when they get snowed in together during a snowstorm. They had a really easy chemistry between them that I couldn't help but enjoy throughout the story. It was a pretty quick read and a rather quick romance at that, but it didn't feel super rushed or lacking. It truly was just the ideal length for the busier holiday season. Daisy Flynn is a new to me author, but this story has me looking forward to checking out more from her in the future.
A Doctor's Snowed In Christmas Wish is a closed-door romance with kisses only and no language.
**ARC received for consideration. All opinions are my own.
A sweet romance set at Christmas This is a story of finding love when you aren’t looking, with interesting story twists. Daniel, a New York surgeon, has arrived on Lonesome Bay Island looking for relief after having been accused and cleared of a malpractice claim. His friends and associates having all turned against him during the inquiry. Now alone he hopes for peace to determine his way forward. But his first encounter on the island is to stop an ex-boyfriend from assaulting Rosalind or Roz. As Daniel and Roz interact in the following days, they begin to see a future neither anticipated. I received an early copy and this is my honest review.
Daniel, a doctor, heads to an island off the New York coastline, to get away from some issues in the city. He runs into drama when he arrives when he sees a woman, Roz, getting accosted by an ex-boyfriend. He helps save her. They start to get along, and she develops a crush on Daniel, but he'll probably go back to New York.
This is a good read and has some great supporting characters. Story pulls you in and has some interesting surprises within the book. I like the clean story and respecting the Christian values.
I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
A lovely Christmas story about a high profile surgeon, Daniel and a sweet island girl, Rosalind. Daniel comes to Lonesome Bay Island for a vacation and to get away from his NY city woes. There he meets the beautiful Rosalind who is more than insistent on being his tour guide around the little island. They both have emotional baggage they try to work through but they get there in the end with a gorgeous HEA, love how this book gave a insight into their HEA years down the line.
I voluntarily reviewed a free advance copy of this book provided by the author. The opinions expressed are my own

This standalone is part of a collection of novels which have the same basic premise. It’s well written and has realistic and detailed main characters, as well as, a sweet storyline. All of the books in this series are very entertaining.
This seemed much more like a “tell” book than “show.” Characters would go into long monologues when no one even asked. I didn’t feel the connection between the characters, I was told it was there.
This is a charming story of love that transcends social classes and age. The author does a good job creating relatable characters in an idyllic setting. I enjoyed this book and happily recommend it.
I received an advance copy. My review is my honest opinion and is left voluntarily.
This started out as a tough read. In the first chapter, you have a fight between Rosalind and her ex. It was pretty heating and Daniel had to step in to make sure she was okay. It was a verbal fight not physical but was still intense.
I like how the author used this moment for Daniel and Rosalind to meet. It set up the rest of the novel. After this scene, it was about Rosalind and her grandfather thanking Daniel and became a love story. It was a slow build and I love the way it happened.
This was my first book by @daisyflynnromance but will not be my last. Thank you for allowing me to be on the ARC team for the Sweet Christmas Kisses series. I am enjoying them so far.
This sweet clean romance is the second standalone book in the multi-author Sweet Christmas Kisses series and offers an age gap romance of two wounded people, one a surgeon from the big city and the other an inn worker on the small island of Lonesome Bay. Dr. Daniel Westbrook, a thirty-eight year old surgeon who has been recently acquitted of any false doings in the death of a patient has arrived in the small town of Lonesome Bay to escape the paparazzi following his case and to enjoy a quiet Christmas vacation while pondering his future, when he notices a man arguing with a young woman and pulling on her as she struggles against him. Rosalind a twenty-four year old island girl has fled college and her cheating ex-boyfriend, Rich, to return home to care for her beloved grandfather and to find comfort in the familiarity and care of the people of the small island but, unfortunately, Rich has followed her and is demanding she return to the city with him…that is until the handsome stranger steps in to intervene on her behalf. This is a slow-to-admit romance with a great amount of emphasis on the characters thoughts of each other and what they would like to have in their futures with Daniel and Rosalind spending many pleasant and romantic days together as well as some health scares. I felt the book dragged a little in the middle and rushed at the end but I loved how the author portrayed the grandfather, his loyal Beagle and Rosalind as a loving close-knit family and their interactions were a delight to read. Also the author did a marvelous job of portraying small beach town atmosphere and happenings making it feel as though I was actually there listening to the waves crash on shore and smelling the salt air. The reminiscing and memories shared was a special part of this book. I received a free Advanced Reader’s Copy of this book but was given no monetary compensation. I read for the enjoyment and voluntarily review so that others may know what to expect and authors may be helped by critique and encouragement.
What wonderful things blow in from the sea …well straight off the Ferry and just in time to rescue a damsel in distress and what a beauty is she…Daniel Westbrook comes to the aid of Lonesome Bay islander Rosalind when her ex wouldn’t take no for an answer. But soon Daniel made her swoon when packing he did send the chancer to the Ferry and off the island for good. Her fair beauty and sweet demeanour has him pleased and happy to meet her and in a fair mood. As time goes by she asks him to dinner and they grow close. He finds it’s her company he craves . Soon they become close and he’s with her the most , her and her grandpa Joseph Copenhagen and his dog Mack .They’re so easy going and he finds himself not knowing what he wants to do . He just knows she’s ace and he’s fallen in love. After being snowed in over Christmas time and even the circumstances has him feeling sublime , he’s a doctor but not of the heart , well he didn’t used to be but this night he’s done something to her heart ,it’s pounding out of her head the knock on her bonce has him entering her head and she’s dreaming of a life without him that’s coming ahead. “Daniel, I’m scared...” I began, my voice barely above a whisper.“Scared? Scared of what, Roz?” He knows that he’s in love with her. Is it enough? He’s set to leave the island , unfinished business has he on the mainland . She’s hoping he will one make it back to the island and her…because she’s in love , wouldn’t that be grand? He’s going because he has a duty , but he can’t forget this beauty that did stir . Everything he is and does know, he won’t forget their time in the snow with HER. Stunningly brilliant better than hallmark swoon of a romance . Beautiful characters the whole cast , all very different with their own pasts and with one shared focus . Christmas is family and the joy that they bring . This is enough to make your heart sing. A perfect performance a true portrayal of a Christmas Wish .
This sweet and charming Christmas romance is imbued with the holiday spirit you want a Christmastide romance to have. The hero and heroine meet in a dramatic scene that pulls you right in. How could the heroine not be attracted to such a man? I did feel both seemed to fall for each other a bit too quickly, and therefore, somewhat unbelievably. But the story has such heart, including the touching relationship between the heroine and her nearly blind grandfather. She grew up with her grandparents, as her mother died when she was relatively young and her father deserted them. Despite this difficult beginning, the heroine is still a positive person, giving much to her small island community as well as her beloved grandfather. She personifies resilience with a happy heart. The hero has a difficult recent past, and he's come to the island for Christmas to clear his head and decide on his best future path. He is charmed by the heroine nearly right away, her infectious spirit clearing away the cobwebs and giving him hope for a different future. The book's title refers to a key couple of chapters in the second third of the book. The heroine and her grandfather invited the hero over for a Christmas Eve celebration, and a blizzard kicks up with such ferocity that he won’t be able to make it back to the inn. The characters are so endearing I would love to see a continuation of their story, even in a novella or short story if the author doesn't think it merits a longer work. If you're looking for a sweet holiday romance with family values and a community that pulls together and feels so real that you want to hop on the ferry to visit, you will probably be as charmed by this delightful holiday romance as I was.
I received a free digital copy of this book, but that did not affect my review.
Book two in the Sweet Christmas Kisses series held strong! Getting us ready for the Christmas/Winter season, Daisy held nothing back in setting the scene for our two MCs. A story all about perspective and only taking to heart the opinions of those closest to you. Things happen outside of our control, but we control how we respond and how we left said things define us. A great holiday romance that is filled with hope, second chances, and living life.
Daniel has escaped to our small town after his reputation as a doctor has taken a bad hit. After being sued, although cleared of any wrongdoing, our doctor MMC needs time to “find himself”. His reputation has been dragged through his mud and his so-called friends have all walked away as well. Life, as he knows it, is over.
Rosalind (Roz) always has a sunny disposition. Able to see the silver lining in almost any situation, she brings light wherever she goes. The perfect FMC to bring the island’s newest resident out of his dark and dreary hole. Although Roz is younger than Daniel, the pull between them is undeniable. When Roz needs Daniel’s help as a doctor, he must decide to let all the negative self-talk to and trust in his abilities.
This book is a quick, easy read. A promise of clean romance, a happy every after, and swoon worthy moments is held firm, as Daisy always keeps her promises. She writes a beautiful story that reminds us to trust ourselves, true friends never leave, and it’s ok to slow down and enjoy life.
As always, review any author notes before reading.
Tropes: 🎄Small Town Romance ❄Grumpy x Sunshine 🎄Secret Billionaire ❄Age Gap 🎄Forced Proximity ❄Holiday Romance
This is the second book in the multi author Sweet Christmas Kisses series. They are all stand alone holiday stories & can be read in any order.
The MMC, Daniel Westbrook, is a prominent NYC surgeon with a booming medical practice until a tragic accident occurs. Needing to get away from all of the madness for a while, he decides to spend some time on Lonesome Bay Island. Upon arrival, he catches the eye of a local woman-Rosalind. Immediately, their curiosity is piqued, the sparks start to fly & they begin their whirlwind romance. Which then begs the question-once the vacation is over, should he give up everything that he's built, that's familiar & that he knows to stay & live the quiet, small town island life or should he go back?
I enjoyed this sweet, fast-paced, small town island romance. The author does a wonderful job at portraying love between characters that are both relatable & flawed while also showing that love can transcend anything, including social class & age. It definitely gives off Hallmark vibes in the way that everything always seems to serendipitously line up for them to spend time together in an idyllic little quiet island town filled with the magic of Christmastime. Several little twists & turns along the way kept my interest as well as including a nice little life update/wrap up epilogue in the end for the complete romance experience.
This is a sweet, kisses only romance so no sex is implied or written off the page along with no swearing. This author was new to me & looking forward to reading more of her stories.
This story, and the wonderful characters, Drew me in from the very beginning. Starting with just a hint of attraction and a tidbit of information, Dr. Daniel and Rosalind (Roz) spent his 2 week holiday vacation getaway (and it definately was a getaway) getting to know one another. This sweet romance moved gradually through the initial abd friendship stages of a relationship. It was only when they were both individually contemplating if there could possibly be anything more between them that anxieties and barriers presented themselves harshly. Would Daniel be able to step away from the life he'd built, and did he want to? Would Roz change her life to accommodate his if he didn't? That wasn't even taking into account the pressure he was receiving from his mother. Ugh!🤷
These characters were humble and human. Their interactions were so realistic and true it was like sitting with them while talking. Daniel may have initially been guarded and hesitant, even grumpy, but the more time he spent with Roz, the lighter and more open he came across. Likewise, Roz struggled with doubts and anxiety (about herself, her choices and their consequences, her grandfather), she carried alot for a 24 year old.Talking to Daniel, and Joseph (her grandfather) helped her to grow in her confidence and self-assurance.
I look forward to reading more books by Daisy Flynn. This book was a gift and I volunteered my friend. Happy Reading Y'all 📚
You have heard of looking for love in all the wrong places. Well this one was not looking for love, but finding a nice surprise for both main characters in this story when they least expected it.
Daniel is a well-established, successful surgeon. After a patient dies and he is sued, he needs to get away from it all. Even though he won the lawsuit, it is still an emotional time for him. Lonesome Bay seems like the perfect place to go. It is a small town where no one will know him.
Rosalind has built her life on this small island, and is perfectly content. These two characters are from two entirely different worlds. But when they meet, it is like there is an instant connection.
This was the perfect setting for a Christmas story, especially when they get snowed in. Even with no electricity, it does not get any more cozy and romantic than a white blanket outside and fire inside. Both main characters were very easy to like. Mack the dog was one of my favorites as well. This was an easy and enjoyable book to read. It will put you in the Christmas spirit a little early.
Thank you to the author for this ARC. I am leaving this review voluntarily.
This is the second book I have read in the Sweet Christmas Kisses series. A Doctors Snowed in Christmas Wish is one of the books newly released in the multi author series.
The story of Daniel and Rosalind was very well written and kept me flipping the pages to see where their journey went.
After Daniel loses a patient as a surgeon in New York City, which tarnishes his reputation, he decides to go on a vacation to a small town, Lonesome Bay Island, where he meets a strong willed, beautiful young woman, Rosalind, just as he arrives!
Rosalind has a simple and beautiful, happy life in her small town. After she meets the grumpy billionaire, she is determined to help him see what a happy life he could have in her small town.
The two of them have had their share of hardships in the past, and after their slow burn, they come to realize their undeniable feelings for each other. But Daniel’s life back in New York is still calling and he has some big decisions to make. The story flows effortlessly as found family, and friends come together and embrace the things that matter the most.
The other characters in the book you will also come to enjoy, especially Grandpa Joseph!
With that being said, if you’re into tropes such as, 🎄Age Gap ☃️Forced Proximity 🎄Found Family ☃️Dual POV 🎄Grumpy Sunshine ☃️Small town 🎄Secret Billionaire ☃️HEA 🎄Clean Romance You will love this book! ❤️
This is my •honest and voluntary• ARC Review! Thank you to the wonderful author for the opportunity. If you’re a reader reading this, and are a lover of a good romance and Christmas, you will enjoy this as much as I did! 🥰

When a patient dies, NYC surgeon Dr. Daniel Westbrook is faced with the task of proving his actions did not contribute to the patient’s death. His issues do not magically disappear when the court clears his name. Now he needs to figure out where he will go from here. Will he be able to rebuild his tattered reputation? Will he return to his practice and try to salvage it? He needs time to think things over, so he heads to the beautiful, quiet Lonesome Bay Island where he can relax and weigh his options. While there, he meets Rosalind (“Roz”) and begins to think he may be able to get through this painful time of his life. Will he decide to return to his lucrative surgical career? Or will he decide to choose a less prestigious position as the island doctor in order to remain with the woman who has stolen his heart, but whose deep love and commitment to her island community prevent her from abandoning them? Soul-searching our priorities is not always an easy thing to do. But love may give him the insight into where he truly belongs.
A Doctor’s Snowed in Christmas Wish by Daisy Flynn part of the Sweet Christmas Kisses series is such a heartwarming tale of two unlikely people who fall in love at Christmas during a rough time in their life.
Daniel needed a break from his life in the city and the bad press after one of his patients died so he took a Christmas vacation to a remote island. On his first day there he saved Roz from being attacked by her ex-boyfriend and he couldn’t take his mind off of her nor her mind off of him after that.
This book had me from the beginning with such sweet writing. I love the characters especially the little beagle, Mack. I love how old fashioned and idyllic everything feels; how wonderful it would be to live in a place like that! I’m in the Christmas mood, especially the mood for a simple family Christmas with stories, love, laughter and lots of food.
I definitely recommend this one for those looking for a sweet kisses Christmas romance with a nicely wrapped up HEA!
A very sweet Christmas romance story about two strangers meeting on an island and falling in love. It details their first meeting and how their story unfolds into a lovely romance. I really enjoyed the detailed writing. I really felt immersed into the scenes with how the writer described different scenes. I also liked reading the different characters perspectives. It is a short read but worth it. Especially if you like Christmas themed books. I think reading it near the holidays would have made it even better to read. It is my first book I have read from this author and I enjoyed it so I plan on reading other books. It would be a perfect book to read on a cold winter evening snuggled up on the couch while drinking hot chocolate.
I requested the ARC to read and enjoyed reading it. I took a week to read it because although it is short I didn’t want to rush through it. I wanted to take my time and really appreciate the book.
When Daniel got off the ferry at Lonesome Bay, the last thing he expected was to rescue a damsel in distress! However, when he sees Roselind being accosted by her ex-boyfriend, that's exactly what happens. He was brought up to respect women, not abuse them. Then after he helps her it would seem that he is not the only one who wants to help her as several burly dock workers also come to see if she is okay and not only that but escort her ex off the island! Then, her grandfather arrives to take her home along with his dog. Roz must be someone important Daniel reasons to himself as he continues on to check into the bed and breakfast he will be staying at. The next morning, he gets a shock as Roz is behind the counter! Not only that, but she asks if she can show him the island. What happens next? Only one way to find out is to read this great story by Daisy Flynn! You will not be disappointed.
Rosalind and Daniel meet under what might be called a rescue operation. Roz's ex wants to get back with her and appears on the island where she lives. Daniel plays knight-in-shining-armor when her ex-boyfriend becomes abusive.
He is only visiting the island to work out his career situation (a surgeon who is questioning whether to continue his practice), but this grumpy guy is willing to relax a bit when Rosalind wants to show him the delights of her home. Including a snowed-in Christmas.
As they get to know each other, sparks ignite. What will happen once he returns to the mainland? Will the fire go out between the two? Can they have a happily-ever-after?
A few chaste kisses throughout is as sexy as it gets. Plenty of What-the-tuck trends seen (winks galore, and a green-eyes main character) as well as the words "mischievous" and " mischief" used numerous times.
