The heroine is a sassy adventurous girl who stumbles into a hidden world full of conspiracy and intrigue. She is quickly taken from the pan and thrown in the fire. The book is full of snappy wit and humor. It is an entry level fantasy so don't expect the wheel of time level of plot lines, however, it is great if you are a young adult just getting into fantasy. Is an enjoyable change of pace if you a burnt out from dresden, WOT, GOT, ect.

A story of a young woman's journey to truth and defining herself. This is a good book for the teen or young adult reader looking to get into the fantasy type genre. An easy read that leaves you ready for the next book!

LOVED this story!!! The twists and turns kept coming, and I couldn’t put it down! Can’t wait for book 2!
