A trip off Earth and a shared bed with two sexy aliens? Sign me up!

Twelve-hour shifts, too small cubicles, and a monotonous schedule are not what I would call my happy place. So when the opportunity presents itself to join a pleasure crew company, I jump in head first. Who needs a five-year plan when you can sleep your way across the cosmos and get paid for it?

My first job is helping two four-armed purple behemoths work out the stress of being on a mission, and I'm the perfect human to help them. Jovi is flirty and charismatic, while Alik is the epitome of too serious and overprotective.

During the day, they act like this is just a job, but when I get them in bed, they worship me like I'm all they've ever wanted in life. They try to keep the relationship professional. Maybe I should, too, but there's something fun about convincing these aliens that there's something more between us.

My plans of traveling the universe with new aliens every month fade away as I realize what I really a role as their permanent crew. I have until this mission is over to prove to Jovi and Alik that while what we have might be hot and heavy, it's also meant to last. They can deny our connection all they want, but by the time this mission is over, I'll secure a spot on their ship.

Morgan Robinson

Morgan Robinson writes paranormal and science fiction romances about sweet monsters, usually of the alien variety. Strong, alpha heroes have always been interesting to her, but there needed to be a sweet and caring side as well. So while the heroes of her stories might be gigantic monsters with horns and scales, they're stuffed full of fluff and sweetness. Her novels contain plenty of steam, fluffy romance, and sometimes more than one MMC.

Morgan lives with her husband and her two dogs. When she's not writing about an alien warrior finding true love with a human, she's being carried in video games, reading lots and lots of romance novels, or rewatching classic slasher films.

This was a really engaging book and I enjoyed it thoroughly. Sloane was sunshiny, mischievous, and confident in her body and sexuality. She’s that extrovert that will drag you mentally kicking and screaming from your house. Jovi was basically her partner in crime; extroverted, playful, and possessive. Alik was the resident broody boy who spoke using grunts but still had the ooey gooey center of love from his friends. They all had awesome chemistry and Alik’s dirty talk was on point. Essa is quite possibly my alien true love, though ideally I’d get to have a polyam situation with everyone… The world building was good and I was here for the sex worker positivity.

Spice: 5/5

Triggers: trafficking and body modification (side character, off page), mention of torture and abuse (side character), violence (brief, off page), mention of manipulative past partner, forced nudity (side character)

A Highly Pleasurable Read

Sloane really wants to be a pleasure crew member, to get off Earth and “pleasure” aliens. Alik and Jovi need a human as part of their crew for their mission; that Sloane will pleasure them is a much needed bonus. I loved this integration of the “oldest profession” with high tech science fiction, and the variety in aliens was exciting. I really loved meeting the whole crew, and the interactions between Sloane, Jovi and Alik were delicious. I’m so looking forward to more stories from this crew - a fantastic read.

Too much plot and not enough relationship building and communicating. The world and species were barely explained. The sex scenes were graphic but also, weirdly, lacking in details, and the sex work had overly complicated rules.

I want to say I also LOVE how there was no real like problems or 'bad' plot. As in like the human gets taken by the bad guys or something. this was just perfect to fill the IPB hole in my heart.

Fun Spicy Sci-fi romance

Morgan Robinson is one of my favorite authors, and I loved the beginning of this new series! I enjoyed how Robinson explored the cultural differences between the Sloane and the crew, particularly the miscommunication between her and Jovi/Alik. I hope we continue to follow this crew in the upcoming 'Pleasure Crew' books.

I highly recommend this series to readers who enjoyed 'Unit A12' and vice versa.

This was 80% spice, and 20% angst. I liked it. Didn’t love it, but liked it.

If this is what is waiting in the pace beyond - SIGN ME UP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am sooo loving the start to this series. The concept of there being a speciaes that only needs a partner for release is not a new concept tbu the way this is written gives it a new style and viewpoint.

Sloane want out away from Earth. It has become dilapidated, war torn and just plain inconceivably draining to live on. In her mind anything is better than this. So she applies for the umpteenth time to become part of the Pleasure Crew - and get the job. Is this really what she wants and how she wants to live? She thinks so and it is seems right, especialy with Jovi and Alik!!!

Jovi and Alik need a pleasure mate for release. Working under the guise of the smugglers for the Interfalactic Alliance, they are granted a pleasure crew. They follows the rules and try to keep themselves in check but Sloan makes it so hard...not on purpose but through Fate. They crave her on site; they need her her by smell and this insufferable itching is getting on Alike's nerves. Is she the one..for both of them? The stars never lie!!!

I have to tell you that the pendant is the cutest thing and the way they act like little puppies around her will have you laughing....Sloane got them on lock, if only she would get out of her head.

Pleasure Crew: Sloane is a standalone science fiction romance by Morgan Robinson, it is the first book of the Pleasure Crew series. This is a wonderfully kinky MFM, monster/alien romance, that even brings in a dash of fated mates.

Set a couple centuries in the future, Sloane is a human female and she decides to leave Earth. There is nothing keeping her there any more, and signing up to be a pleasure crew is an easy way to have adventures. Pleasure crew is exactly what it sounds like, Sloane is being hired to service two males in particular, Jovi and Alik, although her contract says that she not only calls the shots, she also choses who she gets to be with.

Living amongst aliens on a ship is an eye opening and thrilling experience, but there is something going on under the surface with Jovi and Alik. For massive aliens with four arms, Jovi and Alik are gentle giants that can't figure out exactly what is going on when the first meet their new pleasure crew (and they're all about consent).

There's plenty of adventures in space, and meeting various aliens. There also plenty of hot sex and kink. The world of the pleasure crew is an interesting place and I am curious for what else will come in the series.

Sloane (h) seizes the chance to escape her bleak existence on a struggling Earth by joining an intergalactic pleasure crew. Her new life aboard a spaceship filled with diverse alien species promises adventure, but also challenges she never anticipated. Her primary role is to keep tensions by providing relief to the male crew members to prevent them from becoming aggressive during their long missions in space. Sloane meets the crew, including Alik (H) and Jovi (H), two large, purple-skinned, four-armed aliens, who are both intensely attracted to her, but respect her need to get to know her shipmates before providing service. Initially, the interactions between Sloane and the crew are awkward as they all adjust to her presence, but as they get to know her, Sloane's warmth and outgoing nature help to break down these barriers, and she begins to bond with the crew, particularly with Alik and Jovi. As Sloane deals with the complexities of her new role, a dangerous mission tests the limits of the crew’s bond, even as her connection grows with Alik and Jovi. Ultra-hot and steamy alien-human, curvy girl, MFM, ménage, fated mates, sci-fi romance, exploring love, connection, connection, survival, commitment, acceptance, resilience, and belonging.

I really enjoyed this book. Great world building and wonderful characters. Sloane wanted to get off of Earth- which wasn't doing well and didn't have much prospects, and go on an adventure off-planet. I really liked her personality and her opinion on sex work was refreshing.

'I have no problems with sex work. Hell, I'm applying to do just that, but I want to do it on my terms. I don't want to be auctioned off to a whole bunch of aliens against my will.'

Getting denied for pretty much everything, she applies to be pleasure crew and is surprised to be hired on the spot as the first human in the position. I liked both Jovi and Alik. (Though Jovi was my favorite). They had great chemistry with Sloane. Their initial almost shyness- at least in part due to the pendant colors- was adorable. I loved the crewmembers- especially Essa and was happy to not only have another female aboard the ship, but that she was immediately so friendly and welcoming to Sloane. Things weren't all smooth sailing- there were some misconceptions, and I didn't particularly like Alik avoiding her so much. But overall this was a very fun story and I was hooked. 5 stars.

"What if there's an emergency, a sex emergency, and she needs someone to make her orgasm?"

This book had me laughing, giggling, blushing, and kicking my feet. It’s a very low-stakes, high-heat story about a human woman trying to escape Earth. She ends up getting a job as a "pleasure crew" member on a ship working undercover to take down organizations smuggling humans and other victims of the black-market slave trade. Her job is to provide a "release" for two alien males who can get a bit aggressive if they are in close proximity to other males for long periods of time. Needless to say, she is stoked to finally get the job.

I thought this was a fun, fluffy story, which was surprising considering the nature of their mission. There was very little angst, but the author still managed to create enough angst to keep the story from getting boring. There was also a great focus on consent, despite Sloane’s sole purpose for being on the ship.

I loved the banter between Sloane and Jovi, and Alik was the perfectly grumpy "alpha-hole" we all know and love.

While I enjoyed the low stakes and high heat, I couldn't give it a full five stars. I felt there wasn't quite enough tension to give it that extra push; it was just a little too predictable. However, I did really enjoy this and am excited to check out the rest of the series. I’m especially curious about Avery’s story.

So enjoyed this sci fi book. It was great to visit this genre again and with a new author.
Sloane is looking for more to her life with no play outside of long work hours. So she tries, again :D applying for a 'job' as a pleasure crew worker. And it is as you guess, a role to please.
She ends up in space, in order to please our two sexy purple 👽👽 aliens! Alik the grumpy one and Jovi the more laid back. Her role is meant to keep these to calm, as they are part of a team whose role is to disrupt the smuggling of human women. This had me chuckling away as they iron out their relationship and around the other 3 members of the crew. I did like Essa and her bonding with Sloane, even her sisterly protectiveness. 😊
There's plenty of heat 🌶🌶🌶🌶 between our 3 main characters and I loved how Essa handled the smuggler captain! 🤣🤣 I do hope there will be a 'mate' for her in a future book. Plus.. I had to wonder if Holoth could be Avery's mate? Even Phial deserves a mate. 😊
Now I need to read more by this author. Thank you for having me on your ARC team.

You would think that after so many alien romances that I would have read them all already but I haven't and I truly believe this is now one of my favorites. There are just so many amazing ones this year its hard to keep up!

I absolutely adored the dynamic between Sloane, Alik and Jovie, and the bond the crew forms as friends is such a beautiful found family. I wanted to stay immersed in this book and world forever :( I loved the introduction to our new characters and I'm really hoping we get to see more of all of them because I've fallen in love and they simply can not be taken from me so soon!!!

my ONLY complaint is that she got drunk off of their sperm once and then everyone wanted to talk about how they wanted to try it again when she knew what was up and they DIDNT!!!!! not to be a porn addicted FREAK but I would have very much enjoyed that scene if I do say so myself!

It was written well, the characters were funny and had their own unique personalities, the world building was going places, overall a fun read that ended too soon in my opinion!

Morgan never fails to disappoint with her alien/monster romance! With this first installment of Pleasure Crew: Sloane, we are introduced to a universe in the future where Earth is part of an intergalactic agency and guess what? Prostitution is legal and there are legitimate companies that help you partner up. That’s how Sloane ends up on a space ship ready to service the needs of two huge purple aliens named Alik and Jovi.
Essa, the other female character, is super protective of Sloane and they become fast friends. The chemistry is undeniable between Sloane, Alik, and Jovi. But maybe there’s just a little TOO much attraction there because the males are finding it hard to keep their hands to themselves.
If you like spicy alien/monster romances, this one will not disappoint! Story is MFM, and all encounters are consensual.
Thank you, Morgan, for the opportunity to read this and leave a review!

This is a fab series opener by a new-to-me author and it was quite the page turner :) I loved Sloane's determination to make a better life for herself as a pleasure mate in space. The crew she's working for have a vital role in stopping human smuggling. Jovie and Alik have natures that need to relieve pressure or their behaviour gets out of control...and this is where Sloane's job lies. These three really have fab chemistry and connect so well. Of course, it's not all smooth sailing but she sure knows what her heart likes and works to show them she's in it for the long haul. I loved how much time we got with the other crew members and that she befriended them all. You can definitely expect a hot read, filled with adventure, as Sloane, Jovie and Alik work their way to a wonderful HEA. I'm definitely looking forward to the next book :D

Sloan wanted to be a pleasure crew member. The only problem is is that she is human. She is a commodity and a danger. In terms of she could be trafficked or rejected because she can cause problems on the ship. But there is a special request for a human and she is packed to go. Yay! This is a Full length story. She is specifically supposed to be with to the captain and his first mate. Because she is the first human on the ship they don’t know how to act. With their behavior and tendencies as a species things get a little wonky. Serving the service contract specifically is the highest priority, but she also wants to be sociable. This is about the trials and tribulations of Sloan being a pleasure Cruise member and wanting more. Funny. Steamy. Jealousy and other drama that goes with being on a pleasure crew ship. Frustrating yet satisfying read.

Legible

The premise was intruiging, but the world building was atrocious. The author doled out information to the reader like it was on a need to know basis and we didn't have the security clearance for even the most basic information. I enjoyed the characters, but I don't recall a full description of Sloane. There was no backstory of the rest of the crew, and details about the various cultures were scattered in small fragments throughout the book. The strangest thing was the "de@d eyes" the guys would get when they were highly aroused, which is weird because de@d eyes are not arousing or sexy. Usually that means that someone is detatched and emotionaless,so reading it as the height of their libido was disconcerting. The final chapters made the book finish strong though,so I will check out the next book in the series.

as far as alien romance goes, this was a fun romp, liked the mc's and the rest of the characters, a found family feel which I like. Miscommunication while not my favorite trope is the theme here but did not get on my nerves perhaps because it is resolved quickly. while it was light on details, light on world building, it was enough and much better some of the stupid books out there in this genre, writing was decent, story kept me interested and a different take on the usual alien romances out there, spice was there but wasn't crazy, maybe even a bit tepid, connsidering it's mfm, it was pretty tame but all the growliness you like from alpha aliens is there.. however not that interested in reading the rest in the series or anything else by this author and this was a quick read for inbetween others, glad it popped up in my ku recommendations.

I absolutely love this book. Sloane and her men are a lot. She’s just a normal human looking to get off earth as quick as possible and her one way is the pleasure crew way, which is absolutely what you think it is. She’s on her first mission and already meets a great group of people and it just gets better from there. Plus, two purple guys? What more could a girl ask for? In all seriousness, it was a fun read. It absolutely kept my attention and made me dread and feel the same things she felt some of the time. I really connected well with her, but once they got past all the miscommunications life was better. Of course their job was a rough one but without spoiling anything all you need to know is if you like alien love you’ll love this book. 10/10.

There is a lot of differences between humans and varons which causes there to be issues at the beginning of their relationship. Sloane knows when she first meets Alik and Jovi that she wants nothing more than to be with them. Their first time together makes that clear to her. However, some misunderstandings get in the way, and she has to work hard to ensure that she can convince them she is here to stay no matter what. Even though she starts as temporary pleasure crew, she does everything in her power to stay with them permanently.

Gimme four armed big boys who need intimacy to help their aggression any. Darn. Day. Sign me up for this program, today!

I enjoyed the entire premise for this book! I really loved the FMC and how she was so willing to leave Earth to work as pleasure crew for alien males. They need a release to help them with their aggression. Hot. I also loved that they had tasty 💦

For me personally though, it got to a point where it wasn’t holding my attention as much as when I started it.

I still recommend it for anyone interested because you may really love it! It just tapered off a bit for me sadly. But I did finish it and I will definitely come back to this series.

I loved Morgan’s A12 series and went into this ARC blind and I’m so glad I did! I loved it even more!! Morgan is so amazing at world building without.. over building. She is also the queen of the alpha cinnamon roll! The whole concept of the storyline was so unique to me and refreshing to have an FMC who wasn’t weak or naive. I immediately fell in love with both Alik & Jovi and I can’t wait for the rest of the series!!.

This was fun and steamy. Sloane was a woman who knew what she wanted, what she liked and when she meets Alik and Jovi and spends time with them she is even more convinced that she is doing what works for her. Were there a few hiccups? Yes, but this was a woman willing to make the case that her temporary assignment needed to become a permanent position. Steamy but also very much about what one needs to do to make relationships work.

This book was perfect and all the characters involved had me right from the start and took me on a wild and sexy ride that I didn’t want to get off of but I did love the storyline and why they needed a females help to keep them stabilised and focused and having some conversation could have solved some issues but overall Sloane, Jovi and Alik are fun and fantastic together. I would definitely recommend this book.
