Tenía la esperanza de que a medida que fuera leyendo se volviera interesante, pero lamentablemente no quiero forzarme a seguir leyendo cuando lo único que logra es ser aburrido.
Y es que el protagonista es demasiado OP, nada es un obstáculo para él o el ML y los comentarios de los espectadores solo sirven para resaltar lo OP que es y adularlo.
Las películas en las que participa son de terror, por lo que uno esperaría como mínimo que hubiera cierta tensión o miedo por el MC o la situación en general, pero nope el protagonista es demasiado inteligente, nada le afecta y todo lo resuelve el sólito rápidamente. Mira, y está bien que sea inteligente, pero no se lo pongan tan fácil todo...
Así que estoy sumamente decepcionada porque me parecía interesante la dinámica de la pareja presentada, pero ni eso.
En fin, eso es lo que me hizo dejarla. Ahora, si me dicen que más adelante lo anterior cambia o hay un buen desarrollo, estaría feliz de retomarla en algún momento y ver que estaba equivocada.

Ce novel a son propre charme et particularités parmi les danmeis unlimited flow que j’ai lu.
Les "I am your father" drop bombs me font toujours éclater de rire
Je trouve que c’est dommage qu’on n’ait pas pu approfondir sur les personnages secondaires comme Lu Wen ou Ren Ze et ce qu’ils sont devenus par la suite dans les extras.
Mais la partie sur le groupe des 4 Xie était fun
Le self love trope est inhabituel mais a été très bien écrit et interprété. J’arrive pas à croire que le self love a aussi aidé xie chi tellement fois durant les films et moments de crises mdr

Китайцы своеобразные люди, и с каждой новой прочитанной новеллой я в этом всё сильнее убеждаюсь. Я уже видела романтические истории, где любовный интерес представлялся как сверхъестественное существо. Видела и те, где это был какой-нибудь зомби, и многие такие же необычные представители, но вот с таким сталкиваюсь впервые. Что было бы, если бы Нарцисс посмотрел в реку на своё отражение, а это отражение подмигнуло ему и заговорило с ним? Получилась бы эта история с не таким печальным финалом.
Се Чи всю жизнь жил, зная, что не найдётся такого человека, в которого он сможет влюбиться. А всё потому, что в его голове уже существует идеальный человек, в которого он влюблён. Старший брат, появившийся, когда он сильнее всего в этом нуждался. Часть него, такой же идеальный, который понимает его. Возжелав провести с ним всю жизнь, герой попадает в игру, где исполняются желания. Для этого Се Чи нужно стать актёром в фильмах ужасов, пройти их и накопить достаточное количество баллов, чтобы его любимый человек получил возможность жить вне его тела и разума. Герой сразу же соглашается, и так начинается его путь в мир хоррора, где каждая ошибка может стоить ему жизни.
Раньше я встречала забавные новости, где сообщалось, что какой-нибудь человек выходил замуж/женился на самом себе. Странно ли это? Весьма. Авторка будто вдохновилась ими и представила читателям эту историю, где герой на полном серьёзе заявляет, что его достоин только он сам. Безумно ли звучит? Ну да, но давайте будем честны. В контексте данной новеллы я позволю себе согласиться с героем — он слишком хорош, и не существует того, кто стоял бы на одной ступени с ним.
Се Чи входит в мой топ китайских персонажей, которыми я собираюсь восхищаться на протяжении жизни. Умный притворщик, безжалостный, но зато честный, когда перестаёт притворяться. Он знает себе цену, не разменивается на мелочи и остальных воспринимает исключительно за их поступки, направленные на него же. Не сошлись с ним характерами? Тогда не ждите, что он поможет. Захотели помочь ему, ничего не ожидая взамен? Тогда явно выиграли эту жизнь. Хотела бы я сказать, что продолжила читать новеллу исключительно ради героя, но это не так. Он шикарен, никто не спорит, но также шикарен сюжет. Да, даже эта странная романтическая линия. Кстати, я весь текст ожидала, что писательница внезапно свернёт на более нормальную сторону, но она упорно двигалась вперёд и не желала останавливаться.
Божечки, как же я люблю китайские ужасы. Те самые, где страшно до дрожи, а ещё ты каждый раз оказываешься в ситуации, где нужно разгадать загадку, но твой мозг попросту не справляется, и приходится ощущать себя такой же глупой, как и второстепенные персонажи. Пока Се Чи думал, я с замиранием сердца ожидала, к какому выводу он придёт, и насколько наши мысли не сойдутся. В сто процентном соотношении я не угадала ни разу, поэтому приходилось дожидаться, пока герой закончит и объяснит мне, как послушному маленькому ребёнку. Пожалуй, понравились все арки, помимо самой важной, где её важность узнаётся только в финале. Но двум последним предназначена особая любовь. Даже зная, что ничего страшного не произойдёт, не могла унять переживания, направленные на сохранность главного героя.
Романтическая линия всё ещё необычная, и это только если не задумываться о том, насколько она странная. При этом мне, правда, она понравилась. Огромная часть происходит в голове героя, и стоит признать, писательница с этим прекрасно справляется. Но держало меня в напряжении всё-таки детективная линия и та часть с загадками, которые приходилось герою отгадывать, чтобы пройти каждый сюжет очередного фильма ужасов. Единственный минус — перевод на русский. Он читабелен ровно до середины, а дальше на редактуру забили, и пробираться через этот ломанный текст адски сложно. Это, конечно, ещё не худший вариант, но печально, что у такой истории такой перевод.

While reading I thought this was the authors first story, and maybe it was and all their other works came after, but unfortunately the author made a lot of rookie mistakes in this story. I've seen a lot of people reiterate this, but this story is just so...boring. The MC always comes up with answers and solutions that are always right, so it's hard to build tension because I don't ever think that he's going to be in trouble, because he literally never is. And the way other characters praised Xie Chi so excessively made me laugh. Like no one can ever look at him without remarking on how gorgeous and kind he looked. He is a flawed character, but his flaws never matter much, he might as well have been named Gary Stu.
In terms of characters there were a few I kinda sorta liked, but I feel like they were always pushed aside so the MC could solve everything. So they all had so little screen time I felt like I didn't really know any of them. And it made the last minute twist fall flat because I didn't care about those people.
This story is fairly edgy, which wasn't that surprising to me. I mean a story of a guy who basically falls in love with himself? And he has to live through all these gruesome, horror movies? That has 'edgy' written all over it. But I don't think that anything that happens in this story is particularly harrowing or horrific the way a lot of people who talk about this story say it is. Maybe it's because I also love horror and horror movies, but the plots of the movies in this story are pretty tired and boring. Which is another reason why reading this book is so difficult, because the vast majority of it is the MC going through these long and boring movies. I also didn't like how mean spirited Xie Chi came across at times, he seemed to have endless vitriol for both fat or female characters. This book is actually misogynistic to an almost ridiculous degree. At times, it felt like I was reading a story written by a self hating teenage girl.
Finally, the relationship itself. I started this book because the premise was insane, but over time I realized that the benefits of writing a danmei is seeing the two male leads and their relationship change and grow throughout the story. But from the minute Xie Xinglan is introduced and all the way to the last page, his and Xie Chi's relationship doesn't change. One of the first things we learn about Xie Chi is that he's dating Xie Xinglan, and even when we go some time without seeing Xinglan, we know that the feeling on both sides is mutual and never fear it fading. Which makes seeing them interact...also pretty boring. Other than the obvious oddity of their relationship, they're a devoted couple from start to finish with no ups of downs. Their relationship, like everything else in this book, is predictable and unchanging, so overtime I grew bored of their relationship as well. With most couples, people lose interest after they get together because their relationship is more stable and domestic, which isn't practically interesting to water or read about. Their relationship is sort of like that, but for the whole novel.
Overall, I didn't care for this story. The premise was really interesting but the book itself left much more to be desired. I don't feel like anything I haven't already mentioned stood out as particularly bad. But I can also count all the stuff I actually enjoyed on one hand. It's such a shame that this is among one of the most unique premises I've come across, but I doubt I'll ever remember most of what happened in this story a week from now.

Pretty good UF novel which combines the element of the entertainment industry???
MC + ML combo is pretty OP , steamrolling through the instances. But I guess the ending explains it?? However, they are not OP to the point of boring-ness. The intrigue/ mystery element of each instance was pretty good and I was definitely reeled in by the individual plots. We even have an instance which reminds me very subtly of The Platform but the philosophical (?) meaning of it was quite impactful to me. I really like it. The harder the instance, the more complicated and philosophical it was. The comeback and the plot twists of each instance was quite shocking and mind-boggling. It's definitely not a light-hearted brainless novel.
There isn't much plotholes I would say as they were pretty much closed one way or another. However, there are minor details which I had issues with.
Other than that, the novel is fairly low on romance/ fluff. It's more focused on horror, mystery, puzzle-solving. The horror element is alright. It isn't that scary but I have to admit that the food gore is abit unsettling. The gore element isn't that high either, imo.

4.8! Asombroso, las películas con sus respectivas tramas me emocionaron, qué fantástica obra, el ritmo en el que se desarrolló fue asombroso, no puedo creer que ya se haya terminado. Hay tantas cosas que quiero digerirlas lentamente, tantos pensamientos desbordantes, tal vez lo vuelva a leer pronto.
