The Divide

Rate this book
One world, divided in two…

Adara is a land plagued by bitter winds that chill the bones. The people know nothing but hardship, and they curse the name of the wind-blessed queen who sent the cold and created the divide; the mountainous structure that separates the land and people. For a thousand cycles Adara and Ashari have existed apart, neither able to leave their kingdom or sail the ocean, until a rift is discovered in the divide.

One Warrior, the protector of life…

A man displaced, in both spirit and land, Aidan traveled to Adara to walk his own path. The wind carried him right to a girl who is called the Ghost Princess. Now he is in service to her king and is tasked to protect her from whatever force wishes her dead. A world of gods, boundless power, and absolute betrayal opens to him. His only hope; keeping his princess alive. She is the savior of the land, and his salvation. If she falls, then Adara falls, sending all of creation into oblivion.

And One,
The Bringer of Death, the Breaker of Souls…

Kiara does not know how the divide came to pass, only that it is killing the land and that she is the only who can tear it down before it destroys Adara and Ashari. She knows she has been called upon to embark on a journey that will remove her from the only home she has ever known and place her on a path that could either save her people or destroy them. She must find the other breakers, unite them, and battle a force so evil that it tore a world into pieces. To do so, she must wield a great power and risk becoming the very evil she is trying to destroy.

As love destroyed, so shall love repair

The world is divided, the breakers are needed, and evil stalks, drawing ever closer, promising death beyond comprehension. The Ghost Princess will have to step out of the shadows, and risk everything to save all that she loves.

This book is absolutely amazing. The world building and character building is top tier. The story line the the details are equally amazing. The is a long run book. If you start it you are on a journey you never want to stop. One princess one warrior on a path to save the world. There are multiple POVs. I highly recommend this high fantasy series book three just released and I’m so excited to dive in!

The Divide is a very captivating book. It brings you new lands to travel, characters to follow, and powers that are only known in fantasy. It is a book that will keep you reading even if you happen to feel that it may be a little slow or repeats parts of the story a few times.
I most definitely do recommend that this book lands on your TBR!!

Extremely refreshing! The character building was out of this world! I really enjoyed the different perspectives, even though the book was a bit slow-paced.

I loved the story, it was unique. The characters are believable and easy to love and hate. The plot is excellent with plenty of twists. It’s a long slow burn and took me a while to finish because I’m easily distracted but it was worth the read.
