There ain’t no rest for the wicked.

Jinx McGee and her team of demon hunters managed to neutralize the Master Demon of Sloth, relying more on luck than skill. But with six more powerful rogue demons on the loose, she’ll need to bring her A-game to the hunt for their next target. The Master of Gluttony and Excess is elusive, clever, and has a knack for anticipating the team’s every move. There’s likely a mole in their organization, and everyone’s a suspect.

As if that weren’t enough, her unreliable celestial ally has a lead on her missing deadbeat dad that Jinx can’t pass up. He holds the key to the whole demonic endgame, and Jinx has a score to settle.

Daddy issues and demon hunting? It will take cunning, strategy, skill, and a boatload of tequila to get Jinx out of this jam.

This is a fun and fast paced urban fantasy series, following Jane aka Jinx and her allies as they prowl the streets and hunt for monsters.
I love the paranormal worldbuilding and mix of creatures including shifters, celestials and demon masters of the seven sins. The mix of methods for their hunts and investigations includes undercover glamour's, spells and portals.
Jinx has a unique relationship with Demorial her demon, gone from cohabiting by possession, to allies to friends, now to lovers with steamy encounters.
This had some lots of action, banter, witty remarks, not knowing who to trust, revelation's about Jinx's father, and a pizza loving cat.

There's enough information that you could start from this book and follow the plot, but I'd recommend reading the complete series for better insights into all the characters and their relationships.

🗡️"You don't need to be feared or even liked, let alone worshipped. You protect because it's who you are. That's your nature"

🗡️"You're well and truly mine now, mister"
"Hmm, is that a threat or a promise"

🗡️"How dare he. I was in the middle of an existential crisis, and he was chillaxing like he didn't have a care in the world"

🗡️"Remember who and what you are

HellBound by D B Sieders.
Jinx mcgee book 3.
I really did enjoy this book. I loved the cover. I did like the story. Anything with magic and demons I love. I loved the sound of the animals. Demon dog. I had a great picture in my mind for this animal. I did like Jane and D. Even though I haven't read the first two books I got into it straight away. I really didn't like Cassiel. But she did grow on me. I loved Sully. Even Raus. I also liked Trinity, Sam, Alexi and Mara and Megan. I'm looking forward to the next book.

Blurb.

ARC provided by City Owl Press in exchange for an honest review.

Hell Bound, the third installment in D.B. Sieders' Jinx McGee series, continues to thrill with its unique blend of urban fantasy and paranormal adventure. Following the relentless, resourceful Jinx McGee, this book takes readers even deeper into a supernatural world where demons, dark magic, and high-stakes action are around every corner.

Jinx remains a fantastic protagonist—fierce, sarcastic, and surprisingly relatable given the dark forces she regularly confronts. Sieders' storytelling draws you in with well-paced action and suspense, balanced by Jinx’s biting humor and emotional complexity. This time, the stakes are higher than ever, and Jinx’s journey into hell (quite literally!) adds a compelling layer of tension and excitement.

With vivid world-building and a cast of memorable supporting characters, Hell Bound explores the blurred boundaries between good and evil, forcing Jinx to confront both external threats and her own inner demons. Sieders weaves in just the right amount of character development alongside the action, making for an immersive read that’s hard to put down.

Whether you're a longtime fan or new to the Jinx McGee series, Hell Bound delivers a satisfying mix of dark fantasy, humor, and suspense that will leave readers eagerly anticipating what’s next for Jinx.

This was such a good read. I didn't realize this was part of a series but now that I know that I need the other 2 books to read I mean my TBR is ever growing and growing so what's one more lol.
I'm not sure l've read many urban fantasy books but I really like them and think I need to be reading more.
That's what this book was an urban fantasy and we follow Jinx and her crew who are on the hunt for monsters on the streets and in this book monsters come in many different forms because in this book we have shape shifters demon masters like it's crazy and the way this book is written it all works together and flows so well. I mean this book was fast paced and at times had some steamy scenes which I absolutely loved and I needed more of!! It fit the book so well. I mean you can totally read this as a standalone but as I said it's part of a series and I would definitely recommend reading them first I feel you would get a bigger picture of the whole story and characters!!
Definitely recommend this book!!!

This is book 3 in a series, and undoubtedly, had I read books 1 and 2 I'd have gone into this with a better understanding of who everyone was, their powers and relationships, but the storyline was explained.
Jinx is the main character, and she's a kick-ass female lead who takes no prisoners. She has a great group around her of mixed backgrounds - demons, celestials, and much much more.
There's loads of action from start to finish. It really keeps you intrigued throughout.
There's a bit of romance, which I hadn't been expecting, but I was totally there for, I just wish there had been more!
It's a really interesting story, and I'd love to know what's next for the gang, who to trust, and how they will battle the next master demon!

Until I started this, I had forgotten how much I loved this world. Jinx, D, Mara…just all the characters are fun and entertaining. In this latest installment, we get to see them prepare for battle against their next enemy, but they don’t realize who their enemy might actually really be. I just love how Jinx is trying to overcome her insecurities with her family and herself, and I love how they all have each other’s backs. This is a well-written, engaging, and fun urban fantasy that hooks right from the first word, and the last word has you wishing you had the next book right then. Highly recommend. I was provided a complimentary copy which I voluntarily reviewed.

Featuring an expansive cast of otherworldly characters, Hell Bound reads like a teenage fantasy fan's wet dream. The battles for power between good and evil are messy and savage, although it's not always clear who is on which side. As well as demons, celestials, and various other human half-breeds, there are delightful creatures that join the madcap missions, too. The sometimes cute, mainly hangry Sully will surely make you hanker after the lifestyle, while Raus will have you begging your parents/partner for something to cuddle. Jinx and Co. may not have it easy, but they're a family, and this book reads like a hug, albeit a slightly scary one.

Loved the Jinx McGee books!

This is the 3rd book in the Jinx McGee series, and its definitely ramped up. Jinx and D have to once again save Nashville from the demons who are trying to open the portals, while at the same time save those celestials and demons who have sought refuge. It gets a little nail biting when Jinx thinks that D might have betrayed her and gone back to help the demons… but will they prevail, especially when she has the super weird power that her father gave her?

Great story!!!

The writing and story was a lot of fun. My biggest issue was I tried to read it as a standalone. It is not, consequently there were a lot of references to things that happened before this book. At first I was lost, but then I felt like I was reading an epilogue. Which took away from my reading enjoyment. But mostly I think I need to go back and read the other books. The writing makes it three stars. The sense of lost makes me stop at three. (I read an ARC)

This is book 3 in the series and I didn’t read the first 2. I would recommend you do that but it’s not a deal breaker. You get an idea of what happened before and by the end of the book you are hooked and what to go back and read them. This book has romance, kick butt supernaturals and snarky conversation. It kind of reminded me of Guardians of the Galaxy. And talk about a cliffhanger! Best line in the book - “We really needed to teach Cassie the fine art of snark and back-talk.”

This is an entertaining and engaging UF read with drama, danger, great paranormal characters, monster hunting, undercover glamour, etc. The MCs are defined, likable, engaging, have chemistry, and work well together. I liked this fun read.

I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Book 3, it can be read as a stand alone. I will at some point read the first 2 books. Well written and a short read. A bit of spice, but only as a side note, nothing major. Main character Jane is easy to relate to, even with her celestial and demon sides. Lots of weird, and dangerous, creatures, magic, and plenty of action.
