Her life is a dead-end. But can she find healing through being a hero for others?
Caught in a dark pit of despair and haunted by grief at the loss of her son, Stacy Mulligan has nothing to look forward to except another night spent alone. But after she stumbles upon a curious job opening as a nurse at a remote island’s private boarding school, she plunges into an adventure that promises to heal her soul and give her a new breath of life.
But after years of growing numb, she hasn’t got the first clue how to deal with children. There’s something strange about the school that she can’t quite put her finger on – and when she meets a depressed young girl, Stacy quickly becomes entangled in a mystery filled with broken hearts and secretive pasts.
Stacy is determined to give the children the care and direction they so desperately crave – but how can she become the hero her students need while struggling against her own deep-rooted pain? And what about Byron Wells, the man who runs the school. Is there a romance brewing or will Stacy’s heart be broken for the final time?
Hidden Hope Island is filled with tantalizing mysteries, heartwarming clean romance, and an inspiring story about emotional healing.
Will this story have a happy ending?? This is the final book in this series, but I wish this would continue on with the stories of all of the children that have come to the island to live & how they have added to the lives of each of the adults. These children have been castaway. Each of the adult adults were lost, wandering, unhappy souls until they came to this island & got involved with each other’s lives. What a difference they have made in each! This has been an interesting story to me, not just your usual happy ever after. They have had a lot of problems a long the way, kids to straighten out & it hasn’t been an easy road to travel. It’s had its ups & down & all kinds of problems but they made it through. It wasn’t easy & they may not have gotten everything they wanted, but they made it. Very well written! Hope you enjoy it as much as I did!!!
I received this ARC book free & I’m giving my review for free & in my own words. Enjoyed this series so very much!😊
This is the sixth and final book in the series and I'm hoping that we will see more of the characters in other series. There is so much potential for more stories. Ms. Summers did an excellent job of tying up the loose ends in this page turner. She has a gift for developing characters who have real life issues and not sugar coating how to resolve them. This final installment had me smiling and even laughing out loud. I received an ARC and my review is my own without influence from the publisher or author.
As usual, this was another well thought out and intriguing story by Hayley. This final book in the series had a happy and sweet ending, but not without it's share of drama and problems. Enjoyed the lead male, Byron and lead woman, Stacey's, characters. Both were some of the most compassionate characters I ever read.
I received an early and free, ARC, copy and am giving my honest, free and voluntary review.
Yes this is the best series Hayley has written, and she has many. All of which are worth reading.
I bawled like a baby right in chapter 1, and it didn't stop there. This whole book is very emotional, and a happily ever after. Yes it ends but not with a cliffhanger. But I definitely want more.
Nice series . I liked the characters Even the stubborn ones. Looking forward to reading the next series. Don't miss this one . All comments are mine alone.
I enjoyed reading Hidden Hope Island. It was a great series and had the perfect ending. If you're looking for a great short-read series then this is a must-read.
