I have been craving a clairvoyant (or psychic) story for a long while but finding them with spicy romance can be a struggle. This little novella is just what I wanted. Yes it is short, but I felt the plot was well written and even gave a few unexpected twists adding some mystery. The development of the characters' relationship made sense seeing as they are soul mates/reincarnated lovers. The story didn't feel rushed or like a big info dump, which many authors tend to do when writing novellas. I enjoyed the little mystery at the house about the ghosts and the history of the house. Beckett is a very sweet and protective guy, I loved his personality. Quinn is the clairvoyant witch, I felt for her seeing as she had to wear gloves to avoid the touch of every person. They were equally sweet and hot together. I just wanted more.
I got to chapter 7 and thought that was the end for a second, my reaction: 👁👄👁
Thank goodness for the epilogue. Needless to say the end was 100% not where I thought this book was going, it wasn't bad by any means I just thought it was going in a different direction (can't say more without spoiling it). It was still a happy ending and I was satisfied with it.
If I had one thing I would change it would be that this book was longer. I would devour a full length book or a series about Quinn helping people with ghosts, but again this is just me being greedy and liking the idea of a witchy clairvoyant going around and clearing ghosts out of haunted locations.
If you are looking for a quick read with spice, star crossed lovers, twists, and a clairvoyant witch who tries to help ghosts then you should read this book. I think this story will appeal to anyone who enjoys the PNR genre.

Quinn is a clairvoyant who is tasked to go to a haunted house and make sure it safe. Once there she meets Beckett… who is her twin flame. The man who completes the other half of her soul and will always find her in every life and every universe. However, Beckett couldn’t pinpoint how he knew her but with one kiss he realized who Quinn was to him. During their time there they finally find out why every lifetime together was always short lived and it was because of a little bitch demon who got bootie hurt! Beckett sacrificed himself to give their next life a life of peace 💔

Wonderful little read. It was quick but cute. I loved every minute and was so sad to see it end. It's part of a series that a group of authors all collabed to write together and I will be grabbing the others too. I have great appreciation for January and have yet to find a book I haven't loved of hers and this is no different.
The book is about a witch who is Clairvoyant and has to hide from humans her powers. She is sent out on a job and finds herself in a haunted house trying to fight the evil forces that are plaguing the house. While doing so she finds her life partner but it's against the rules. One thing she doesn't do is break rules because it has fatal consequences.

'My life meant nothing after the moment your heart stopped beating. Now, my afterlife will give me everything I've ever wanted. Forever. With you. And that is something the world has never given us.'

I haven't read a book by January yet that I haven't loved! This one is no exception, it's honestly so good! I've not read many books with magic, but January always does them so well!
Quinn has powers, powers that let her communicate with the dead, the only rule is she can't reveal it to humans. When Beckett meets Quinn, he's instantly drawn to her, he has to know her. Can they survive everything that's going to be thrown at them, especially with him being human?!
I absolutely loved this Novella, I'm really hoping we get a full series of Quinn and Beckett! I also love to see old faces in the crossover of the worlds! I'd definitely recommend!

You want a quick must read and you love forever love with magic than this is the story for you!
I couldn't put it down, yes it is a very quick read but with how she wrote each character made me emotionally attached. I can not tell you how many tears I shed because of this book. Since getting it in my hands I have already read it twice. This will live rent free forever in my soul.
If you have read any of her previous books you will know a certain someone that pops up randomly in this and I just know he is a favorite!
Absolutely loved this quick read and I hope to see more of them throughout her other stories!

OMG. I absolutely love this short book. January knocks it out of the park again! Not that I am shocked as she is one of my favorite authors and I love all her books. This one struck me right in the heart. There is nothing better than an emotional story with characters that will stay with you forever!
I could feel the strong connection that Quinn and Beckett shared. As soon as they met, I could feel the pull that these two had with each other. I could not put my finger on it right away, but I knew it was something special. Once, I learned the reason, I could not get enough of these two.

Clairvoyant by January Rayne
Novellas get a lot of criticism, and I understand why. Delivering a complete story in so few pages is often disappointing. But this is an example of it being done well. I didn’t feel like anything was missing. I connected with the characters, felt furious at the injustice of their situation, and sobbed near the end. When we finally got the HEA, I was elated that, after all these lifetimes, the MCs’ souls were finally—finally—together.
I loved it.

Less than 100 pages but what a great story. Quinn is what they call Clairvoyant, she can see and hear the dead. She is given a job to go to this haunted house and do a reading.. but she meets Beckett once she gets there. Who’s Beckett??
I can’t tell you… but it’s certainly interesting
I love anything January writes, but this little magic love story has so much packed into a little story.

This is 70+ pages of pure suspense, with an amazing fleshed story and mix of spice. This had me guessing until the end. I’m only sad it’s over.
Quinn and Beckett will always find each other and I love this concept of reincarnation and soul mates/twin flames! I hope to see Quinn and Beckett again at some point. It was awesome seeing Lorcan. I love that sassy little demon! January Rayne never misses!

I think reading Clairvoyant is my biggest blessing and honor of this month. For the first time, I cried so hard reading a novella—it completely wrecked me in the best way. I’ve always had a soft spot for star-crossed lovers, and January never disappoints.

An excellent novella from January Rayne! I love love love the premise and feel of this book. The fact that they're the other half of each other's souls is phenomenal. That they've lived thousands of lives and in each one they find each other again really tugged at my heartstrings. The Epilogue really redeemed it for me. Always read the epilogue!!

This paranormal, fantasy romance was a fun novella. A little outside of my usual fantasy or Romantasy reads, but it was just the read I needed!
I enjoyed the idea of the twin flames, and it’s safe to say I shed a little tear at the epilogue of this one!

This was an excellent story. I really wish it was longer. Lorcan is a fun cameo character, very creative. Vivid sex scene, definitely hot! Wished there was more to the story.

I really liked this book. 4.5 stars for rating, 2 for spice. This was an emotional rollercoaster which was surprising since it’s a novella. Definitely cried. There is a happy ever after, though it’s a bit bittersweet.

This book was a nice quick read at under 100 pages. It's packed with witches, ghosts, and demons. It even made me tear up at the end, but don't worry, there's an HEA.

This will be a quick insight into this one to not spoil anything since it is a quick novella.
This one will hit you with all the feels of a star-crossed lovers vibe between Beckett and Quinn. These two have such a unique story that once you get a glimpse of their love and how it knows no leaps or bounds to find one another only makes the sequence of events so much more emotional as you read it.
All I can say is I wasn't expecting such an emotional storyline in such a short read. I think this is why this author is one I will forever read her books. She can weave a masterful story short or long it doesn't matter because you will get an array of emotions and this one is no different.
