The trap is set, and time is slipping away.

After narrowly escaping arrest, Luciana Betarrini hurtles back to medieval Italy. Once there, she and her brother, Domenico, must decide how far they’ll go to be part of the family, and if they’re willing to risk their lives to hunt down an assassin.

Meanwhile, Lady Tiliani Forelli’s family has disappeared in enemy territory. Fearing for their lives—and secretly hoping to cross paths with the Fiorentini she loves—Tiliani goes to Firenze intent on either rescue or seeing justice done. Yet a trap is closing around them all.

Together, the Grecos and Betarrinis must find the Forellis’ nemesis and force him to confess to his role in the murders. They assume he has slipped into the serpentine streets of Firenze to evade them. But will they find him in time to save the Forellis?

Holy cow holy cow HOLY COW!!! How am I to wait for book three?! That cliffhanger rivaled Cascade in terms of turmoil!

And seriously, Lisa is the reason I have high expectations for men 🤣 Giulio Greco?! Be STILL my ever loving-heart 😍

All in all, just a super second book in this series! (Is it bad I’m hoping it’s more than three books? I’d gladly take five!)

Five million out of five and I can’t wait for book three!

"I believe that no pain is wasted, if we trust God to make something good of it. Through pain, we become stronger, deeper, somehow. Which allows us to tackle the next bout of pain better. Like a knight getting stronger with his sword with each battle."

I'm struggling with words for this book, it just had it all, it was beyond amazing. So many times I was fighting tears back and could feel all the hurt they felt, the struggles. As someone who has pains and struggles in life, this book really did a lot for me, a lot of encouragement and things to think about. 🩷

And I need the next book NOW because it ended with lots unresolved. 😅

MY HEART 😭 EVERY TIME LISA!!

The problem with cliffhangers is that I feel so sad that getting my hands on the next one is such a long time away 🥲 (*cough cough I will happily take an advance copy if you want to send one Lisa hahah*)

Giulio Greco has got to be one, if not the, favorite character in this series. He reminds me a lot of my own husband. I have so many heart eyes 😍

But truthfully this one challenged me a lot in my own personal life.

“Simply walk through the next door he opens for you, but do not try and forge your own door. Make prayer a habit. Try and listen for a response, and follow where He directs you to go.”

How many times have I tried to forge my own door in my life? I love Lisa’s theme of looking introspect in this book, over whether we try to make things happen for ourselves or let God be in control. I confess I have tried too long to be in control and depend on myself more than God. Thank you, Lisa, for highlighting this truth I SO needed in this point in my life. This will stay with me.

I’m so looking forward to book 3, hoping the release date will be nearer than I think!

'Despite the legends, the stories, it had become more lore than reality in my mind. Here again, I witnessed that the Forellis were a family that commanded respect, as they unsheathed swords and bows. I felt a rush of pride.
You can poke at a She-Wolf's den-or her friends-for only so long, before she will rise. And her husband will be behind her. Together, we would remind these Fiorentini that we were not to be trifled with.'

Ahhhhh. I'm so excited to be back in Italy with the Forellis!!! Lisa has created such an amazing escape through the River of Time series and now the Oceans of Time that I feel like this little time in history feels like home. I'm not surprised at all how the main characters who are transported to this time have a hard decision to make when it comes to leaving or staying with each challenge they face.

Pros and Cons as our main character, Luciana, says throughout the book.

This book is all pros and I highly recommend it. There are a lot of fun aspects to this book that will hook a lot of readers: time travel (although there isn't any back and forth in this one, mostly set in Italy in it's entirety), suspense, plot twists, multiple love stories happening, reappearances of our favorite She-Wolves and their families, danger at every corner and finding a life worth living.

Highly recommend this series as well as River of Time if you haven't read it. So, so good!

I received a complimentary copy of this book. Opinions expressed in this review are completely my own.

Content: war violence (some descriptions, not overly gory), family rules everything, suspense/plotting, a couple religious exclamations, romance-kisses only.

I pre-ordered Rip Tide months ago and had nearly forgotten about it. Imagine my delight when my signed copy showed up in the mail (seriously, I didn’t know it would be signed, and it made me giddy)! I quickly dove into it, excited to see what was next in this Oceans of Time (sequel series to Rivers of Time) series.

Rip Tide picks up nearly immediately after Estuary ends. The Betarrini twins – Luciana and Domenico – are back in 13th century Italy, having narrowly escaped Dr. Manero in present day and healing Ilaria Greco from an otherwise fatal wound. Grateful as they are to be amidst the Forrellis and Grecos once more, there is no time for rest as the lords and ladies of their castello are on trial for assassinations and violence against Firenze that they did not commit. Luciana, Domenico, Tiliani, Guilio, and Ilaria plunge into Firenze to discover who is framing them and clear their family’s name before the fragile peace between Firenze and Siena is broken once more.

Rip Tide is one fast-paced book. We jump straight back into the action and back into building the relationships. It took me just a bit to find my bearings, considering I read Estuary over six months ago, but it came back to me quickly. This book took place largely in Firenze, which was a different setting than we’ve been in with the most recent novels. There were definitely references to prior novels in which Gabi is prisoner in Firenze, which I thought was a fun nod.

There was a bit less romance in this book and more action. Kisses were still stolen, hearts still pined for, and longing glances still exchanged; but there was less downtime to explore these in this novel than in prior novels. I’m not sure if that’s a pro or a con? I guess I’m indifferent. I didn’t feel it hurt the story one way or the other. It served the plot and the characters the way it needed to this time around, but I do hope to read more of that side of things in the next book. I want to see how the drama resolves!

As always, I love the foray into medieval Italy. I love the clan-culture of the Forrellis and Grecos and the way it is contrasted with our individualistic Western societies of today. I like that it was easy-to-read, clean of graphic violence, language, or sex, and full of good life and faith lessons. I like the way relationships are taken seriously and the way the “elders” of the book (the parents, the grandmother, et cetera) are respected, even if they’re not always right or perfect. Sometimes, Luciana’s propensity to rush into danger annoyed me (probably because I’m a homebody who hates risk and cannot identify whatsoever), but I don’t think that’s a book problem.

I've said before - the books don’t land exactly the same way they did for me when I was thirteen and starting Waterfall. I read them differently as an adult and a mother now. But I still love them, love what they represent, and the escape they are for me. I appreciate Bergren giving her audience so much more to love with the Forrellis and medieval Italy! 4 stars from me, and I'll continue to grab these as she writes them!

I LOVE this series. I’m so glad to be able to continue the Oceans of Time journey with Rip Tide. I have never, ever read another series that is filled with this many swoony characters. Forget Disney princes, Lisa creates the most wonderful MMC’s.

My favorite part about these books is the hope that it shares. While reading, I continually told my husband how much I appreciated that these characters are real, raw, flawed, but gentlemanly. These men (hello Guilio) are godly men. They’re passionate protectors that love fiercely and gently. They’re the kind of guys that I wouldn’t mind (and even encourage) my daughter to read about one day.

The plot moved at a steady pace, never once boring me, but rather making it hard to put the book down. The cliffhanger is enough that I’m wanting more, without screaming in agony because of unanswered questions. It’s the perfect amount of mystery. I can’t wait to continue this series. (Hurry up! I need book 3!)

Ps – This book was gifted to me by the author and publisher, Enclave Publishing, but this review is entirely honest and my own opinion.

it was good! Part of me thinks I read it way too fast to understand and absorb what was happening. I think there was a lot of world building and setting up for the next book. But I did enjoy reading about the characters. if there is one thing that this author is good at it is definitely becoming close to the characters!

In this second book of this series, we are taken right back to the first and it continues. I love how the author weaves this story and sends the reader on so many adventures.
Lisa T. Bergren and it will keep your head spinning in many ways.
This book has drama, suspense, action, medieval elegance, hardship, and sweet romance that will knock your socks off. Oh, the Romance!
This story also had beautiful examples of God's care and goodness, and what really should be treasured in our own lives!
One thing I don’t think I’d like, if I were a character in one of these books, is that it seems, they are always in a battle for their lives. Oh, there were so many moments that I wanted to reach in and save them, and OH the hurts and pains there are without modern-day medicines.
There’s also the struggle that each twin feels of knowing their place in this time. Do they go back to the future or stay here?
Lisa T. Bergren is a wonderful storyteller. She truly knows how to paint pictures, so we have no problem seeing what’s happening in our minds! Her books are colorful, exciting, and easy to read. The dialogue flows so smoothly, and I was really caught up in the story and didn’t want it to end. It took me to Italy, a place that I’ve longed to go to, with so many wonderful images and splendid verbiage. I loved everything about this book!
Now is the hard part, I’m just going to have to wait until the next book in the series to find out what happens to all the characters. Oh, the waiting will kill me!
I highly recommend you pick this book up to read and let it take you on an adventure that you will never believe!
I was given this book by the publisher which did not influence my review in any way, all thoughts and opinions are my own.

My thoughts on this remain similar to the first book. However, I felt more of a connection with the characters in this one, especially as we got to see more of Luciana and Tilliani’s flaws.

So many parts of this book were so moving and truly had me in my feelings.

The faster pace of the story kept me more engaged.

There were also some more improvements with the relationship between Tilliani and Valentino that helped me look past the insta-love nature of their relationship. This remains something that bothers me about this series so far.

Otherwise, I enjoyed reading most of this book and, once again, Lisa has left with such an intense ending! I’m looking forward to seeing what happens next.

But I swear if she lets anything bad happen to Luca Forelli I will riot.

There is a reason so many of us love this family! In between book one and book two of this series I listened to the audiobooks for the River of Time series. To say I became and even bigger fan of the connected characters would be putting it mildly!

All of the beloved characters from Estuary are back in Rip Tide. It starts right where book one left off. Tiliani, as well as Nico and Luci, are set on rescuing Marcello, Luca, Gabi and Lia. Not surprisingly, things don't go as planned. One wrong move, choices made here or there, the timing... every choice the characters make send the story spiraling in a new direction. It's definitely fast-paced and never a dull moment.

Tiliani still doesn't want to marry Aurelio, but he seems to have a new spark in his eye toward her. It's clear he wants peace between their castellos. Ercole, from book one is intent on there being no peace and continues to manipulate the other rulers. Whew, his deceitfulness knows no bounds.

Luci and Nico are still trying to find their way in this new life they've been brought into with Gabi, Lia, and Adri doing their best to help them adjust. Luci and Giulio are still testing their feelings to see if what they're feeling is real. It's so interesting to "see" the difference in how they both approach it. Luci comes at it with a 21st century mindset, which doesn't exactly pair well with a 14th century Guilio.

The castellos and families always seem to be in constant battles, waiting for the tip of the war iceberg to show up. Just when it seems like peace is at hand, love can begin, or decisions can be made on whether the twins stay in the 14th century, a skirmish occurs or the family is attacked.

One of the things I enjoyed most about this story is how deeply Luci feels the family bond is with the She-Wolves and their family. They've all welcomed the twins into their fold, something they've sorely lacked most of their lives it seems. The story is a good reminder of what family & community truly is and how different it is today in modern times.

There is a strong thread of faith in this story and a strong push to trust the Lord in everything, no matter the circumstances. I appreciate how the more mature ladies in the story are always there to encourage the younger ladies towards faith.

The worst part of this story? Waiting for book 3!!!

*I received the book for review. This is my personal opinion.

Story wise, a really good sequel. I do really like the characters and enjoyed seeing their development. Especially Luciana and Giulio

What I really didn't like:

This would be a four star read for me, but I have to deduct a star for the silliness about Catholicism. The author does reaffirm that everyone is Catholic, which is good considering it's medieval Italy, but of course, since the author is protestant, it can't just be left at that. The Forellis' priest isn't like other priests. He's a man of God. Mmmm, ok lol. Cause obviously all Catholic priests are bad and corrupt. Also, Sienna being excommunicated for not listening to the pope is portrayed as a good thing because obviously the pope is corrupt too, for no other reason it seems, than that he's the pope and the author clearly doesn't approve of the papacy. Again lol. Thankfully all this stuff was mentioned super briefly and is pretty irrelevant to the actual story so I'm just gonna pretend it was never written.

I don't understand why this kind of stuff can't just be left alone though? For example, if I was writing a story set in the deep south in the 1800s, the characters would be Southern Baptists, and they'd like being Southern Baptists and act like Southern Baptists, despite my issues with that denomination of Christianity. I certainly don't agree with Southern Baptists, and they don't tend to like us Catholics, but if I was writing a story where it was appropriate for that to be my characters' religion, then that's just what I'd do. It would take away from the story and make it less believable to do otherwise. I just don't understand the incessant need every non-Catholic Christian author I've encountered has to somehow work in a way to bash Catholicism in their stories. It's disappointing and honestly just straight up petty.

There were also a couple minor errors with Catholic theology, but that didn't really bother me so much, as it was smaller things that I just wouldn't expect a protestant to know. It wasn't until we started getting into the "our priest isn't like other priests, he's a good person yada yada yada" nonsense. That's when it gets frustrating.

I'm still looking forward to the next book, but I'm really hoping we're done with the anti-catholic rhetoric. It was pretty disheartening.

RIP TIDE is the second story in this time-traveling series set in Medieval times. Full of likable characters, action, adventure, danger, intrigue, political unrest, family, and romance with an inspirational aspect. If you're a fan of this author's books, you'll be sure to enjoy this one as well!

It was fun to travel back in time with Betarrini siblings to Medieval Italy in this second book in the series. This book picks up right after the first and throws readers right back into the political intrigue and action. There is quite a bit of drama with emotions all over the place with the characters' family and people at stake. The inspirational element was weaved through the story well and felt genuine. The relationships were all sweet and interwoven in this family and those around them. There were also some pretty difficult things that these characters faced, loss and heartbreak at a time when violence and deception was so prevalent along with a desire for power and greed. It was a strong contrast to this family and the characters, who were all wonderful, and the sweet romance.

I did find that there were some things that didn't work for me in this book. I had some trouble keeping all the characters straight and who their romantic counterparts were. The romance is fairly strong and sometimes too strong in certain situations (such as stopping to have a conversation when characters should be escaping). Some things seemed too easy for the villain and for a family who have held their own for some time, they seem more unprepared than I would have thought and also easily led in parts.

In the end, was it what I wished for? This was overall an enjoyable read. The action and undertone of suspense starts from the first page and continues to the last, keeping readers turning the pages. Then there was the likeable characters, inspirational themes, and sweet romance. There is much that needs to be accomplished in the next book for these characters to find the resolution to their stories.

Content: Some innuendo and violence but would still consider this clean.
Source: I received a complimentary copy through Celebrate Lit, which did not require a positive review. All opinions are my own.

In Medieval Italy, Luciana and Nico have just successfully saved one of the Forelli guards by taking her through the time portal and back. While they were gone some men masquerading in Forelli colors attacked another city state. Lady Tiliani’s parents have gone to Firenze to try and prove that they’ve been framed, but no one has heard from them in a while. So Luciana, Nico, Tiliani, and their other cousins and allies venture to Firenze to see if they can find the perpetrators behind this attack and force them to confess. But can they do so before angry mobs tear the other members of the family apart?

There are quite a lot of characters to keep track of at this point, and at times I felt like I needed a chart. Usually we’re following either Luciana or Tiliani, though, so once you figure out which one you’re following it gets a little easier. Still a list of the cast of characters at the front of the book to refer back to might have been nice. Bergren still manages to keep the action high, and naturally work in characters contemplating faith matters in ways that work very well with the plot. Bergren really makes the Medeival time period come to life for readers (she’s obviously done loads of research), and Luciana and Nico are really weighing whether to stay in the past or not which will likely get readers contemplating which they themselves would choose. Things are not completely resolved in this book, and I’m ordering the next book pronto.

Notes on content:
Language: None
Sexual content: Nothing beyond a couple kisses.
Violence: There are several battles and fatalities are mentioned while some wounds main characters receive are described somewhat. A hanging of criminals is somewhat described, and some members of the family end up in a torture device for a few days as a “test” of their innocence.
Ethnic diversity: Italian Americans and Italians from different city states.
LGBTQ+ content: None specified.
Other: While the She Wolves have brought a bit of a modern American sense of worth/value/independence to their corner of the world for women, Bergren realistically depicts that such freedoms and values don’t extend to the other city states. As was common at the time, there is consumption of some alcohol as a normal part of daily life.

Rip Tide is a fun time travel novel and book two in the Oceans of Time series. You’ll love getting back into the action in this novel! Please do yourself a favor and read book one before you read book two. You’ll get so much more out of it and enjoy it more.

This book contains wonderful medieval references. There’s murder and mystery. Lots of running around and not wanting to leave the book. I love a fast-paced novel and this one definitely fits that bill.

There’s a third book coming and well, let’s just say, it’s going to be hard waiting for that book to come out. You get caught up in the story and then it ends! Yes, it has a good ending. Is the ending satisfactory? Well, it’s a cliffhanger. So yes but also no. But there is so much more that I need to know! So much more that I want answers to!

In this book, there is nothing not to like. I highly recommend this book and the entire series.

I have voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy of this book which I received from Celebrate Lit. All views expressed are only my honest opinion. I was not required to write a positive review nor was I compensated in any other way. All opinions expressed are my own. I am disclosing this in accordance with the FTC regulations.

Respectfully, what the heck!? That's it!? There's no more, and now I have to wait for book three to come out?!

Let's establish a few things before we begin. 1.) I love medieval Italy. 2.) I love medieval Italy because of the original River of Time books. 1+2=I was absolutely going to love this book no matter what. I was not prepared for how much I loved it though!

Picking up where Estuary left off, Rip Tide sees the Betarrini twins further securing themselves to the Forellis, Grecos, and Sienna. There's plenty of romance, a lot of medieval sword fights (and bows and arrows...and knives...and fists...and yeah, just a lot of fighting period), and a TON of suspense. I was literally on the edge of my seat holding my breath by the time I reached the last ten percent or so of this book. Yes, I even actually screamed at one point because I have zero chill.

Seriously, this book checked all of the boxes. Yes, I loved it because it's a continuation of one of my favorite series that takes place in one of my favorite periods of history with one of my favorite fictional families, but this book stands as an amazing story in its own right.

Can you tell that I loved this book?

Ten out of ten recommend! Gonna go sit and anxiously wait for the release of book three now.

My personalized book arrived a few days early so of course I had to read it right away. But I set myself up for disaster because I have finished it. Now I am sad that I have to wait for the next book. It is the downfall of being a fast reader but I can't help it when the writing is amazing.

Lisa has once again exceeded my expectations. I am a sucker for time travel romance stories in general but the River of Time and Oceans of Time series is so much more than that. What resonates with me throughout the novels are the themes of family, faith/hope, and life. It makes me grateful for what I have and the life I live. Gotta live life to the fullest despite its ups and downs.

The romance in the novels is a plus but the plot is what makes my brain go in detective mode. I try to think of what might happen next, who is behind it, or who might be a spy. There are so many possibilities to think of until the next novel gets published.

Lastly, you know how in some novels, there are some characters you hate so much you want them to be wiped off the face of Earth. Yep! That would be Ercole! I had to stop myself from throwing my book.

This second installment of the series doesn't miss a beat as it plunges the reader into a world of loyalty, bravery, faith and betrayal in 1372 medieval Siena and Firenze of Italy. There is plenty of action in battle and plenty of spot on faith lessons. Told in Tiliani and Luciana's first person voices in 1372, we get a good look at the political climate of medieval Toscana and the life of a titled family defending their castle and people they love. Romance between Tiliani and Valentino is exquisitely tender yet heart-breaking as these star-crossed lovers try to find their way. Luciana and Giulio are sweet and so perfectly matched but struggle with being from two very different time periods with incongruent expectations. We didn't see much of Nico and Ilaria here as main characters but I hope to see more of them soon. This book is the right blend of action, intrigue, faith, and romance. I can't wait to see what the next book holds; it promises to be another epic read considering how this book ended!

Taking up where Estuary left off Luci and Nico return to the Forelli's with a healed Ilaria. Barely escaping from an enemy in their time only to be once more confronted with enemies from a far more harsh time in history. As the Forelli's seek to find Sir Ercole and bring him to trial some of their family are being held captive and face certain death if he is not found. Will they be able to find enough witnesses to speak for the Forelli's or has their enemy done a perfect job of framing them?

I love love love this series! Luci and Giulio's romance is sweet and so romantic. I mean seriously who wouldn't fall for some big, beautiful knight who is totally gaga over you? Tiliani's desire for a man she cannot have is sad yet frustrating as well. The epic battles were stressful and had me closing the book a few times only to have to pick it up again to see what happens next! There were laughs, there was danger, there was love and there was hate. But at the end of the day there was family and that is what Luci and Nico have been looking for. A place to belong. If you enjoy a good time travel series then I highly suggest this series. You won't be able to put it down!

I cannot get enough of the Forelli’s, Bettarini’s, and the Greco’s in the Oceans of Time series. After reading Estuary last year, and then binge reading the River of Time series in January and immediately reading Estuary again…picking up RipTide was such a joy. Book 2 sucked me right back into medieval Italy with my beloved family of Forellis, Bettarinis, and Grecos. I may not be Italian, but when I’m reading these books…I claim to be familia at Castello Forelli.

If you like medieval battles with a twist, found family, romance in unexpected places, “she-wolves,” and thoughtful ponderings on life and love, you’ll enjoy these books. I am super excited for the next book! Perhaps I’ll have to visit Italy while I wait😊

After reading the first book from Lisa Tawn Bergren's Oceans of Time series, Estuary, I had to get my hands on the second installment, Rip Tide. It was great catching up with the characters. I was far from being disappointed. This book was full of adventure, action, and suspense. I never knew what could possibly happen from scene to scene. I thought it was great and loved every single page. Another favorite read of the year.
I give Rip Tide five stars. I highly recommend it for readers who enjoy reading clean time travel, science fiction and romance. I will be eagerly awaiting the next installment from the Oceans of Time series to find out where Lisa Tawn Bergren takes these characters to next.
I received Lisa Tawn Bergren's Rip Tide from the publisher, but was not required to write a positive review. This review is one hundred percent my own honest opinion.

Forget edge-of-your-seat suspense. In Rip Tide, Lisa gives us foot-stomping, heart-racing, page-turning, (almost) book-throwing (but this book is too precious to throw), swoon-sighing, tear-shedding, hand-flapping, I-need-Fathoms-now action!!
Lisa T. Bergren has been giving us jaw-dropping novels for years, and Rip Tide is no exception. This has been one of my most anticipated releases of 2024, and she blew my expectations out of the water. Full of rich history, action, and swoony Italian men, Rip Tide has something for everyone.
The River of Time series has been my go-to since high school, and revisiting these characters years later has been so rich.
So what are you doing?! Take the plunge into medieval Italia!

The characters went through a lot of challenges in Rip Tide. It starts of well with the thankful reunion after the drama at the end of the last book. After that it is a swirl of one challenge after another as their enemies continue to circle them. Luciana and Domenico get more and more entwined with this time as they face the challenges together with the Forellis and Grecos. You can really feel Tiliani's struggle, but at the same time she does not handle it with maturity in some moments. The villain is frustrating in how he continues to slip through their fingers and leave irreparable damage in his wake. Overall, I really enjoyed this second installment, but I am ready for them to finally get their man and find peace.

Rip Tide by Lisa T. Bergren is a Romantic Fantasy. It is the second book in the Oceans of Time series and continues to chronicle the lives of the Betarrini and Forelli families. As a dual-timeline, multi-character book, I found myself having to look back to see what character was the focus of any given section.

I love the idea of this book more than the actual execution. I found it hard to follow, as it jumps around from one viewpoint to another. The author includes drama, suspense, Medieval times, and more.

So, if you want a Romantic Fantasy, check out Rip Tide by Lisa T. Bergren.

I received a complimentary copy of this book, but this in no way influenced my review. All opinions are my own.

I recently read Rip Tide a book by Lisa T Bergren that provided an excellent portrayal of fantastical time travel while also incorporating themes of faith. One of the recurring themes throughout the book was the idea that God is in control and that He sees and understands our situations. Even when it seems like He is not there, we must trust that He knows better than we do. If we can look beyond our current circumstances, we can recognize that He has always been with us and will never leave us, even in times of adversity.

The book opens with an action-packed scene that sets the tone for the rest of the story. While I have not read the first book in the series, this one made me eager to catch up. Although there were references to prior events, I was able to follow along with the plot without feeling completely lost.

The story is set in medieval Italy, and the author does an excellent job of bringing the setting to life. The characters are engaging, and you will feel as though you are right there with them.

The book is a clean historical romance and does not contain any explicit sex scenes or offensive language, yet it still manages to be a compelling love story.

The suspense and thrill of the book are top-notch, and you will be hooked from the start. While time travel is not a major element of the story, it is mentioned throughout and adds a touch of science fiction to the plot. Overall, it is an enjoyable read that can be appreciated by readers of all genres.

I received a complimentary copy from the author through Celebrate Lit, for my honest opinion.
