Reading romance is one of my favorite pastimes, next to horror books. Love me some Stephen King and Dean Koontz.
Maybe one day I will write in that genre too. Or combine the two......
**Do not diminish an authors hard work by trying to tank her by saying her book is AI. The amount of time I sit down to write everyday to the point I am now having issues with my kidney is not a joke. If you don’t like my work that is fine, if you want to point out things I can work on that is good too. But people messing with authors to get them to quit or lose revenue is appalling. I am not going anywhere..

This was pretty good. Even though I laughed more while reading about Ben's twin, Michael, Ben is more controlling and it seems that Diamond is a perfect match for him. She also has a dark side to her. I was surprised with the entire story. I kept thinking that somehow that chick that was dating Michael and threatened him in the other book was behind everything to mess up both families but the twist was surprising. Anyway, it was a good read!

Ben and Diamond are two of a kind. This romance was hot, kinky, and a little crazy. Two people who want each other but take the wrong route. The female lead is a beautiful, independent woman. Diamond hides layers of herself from her family. Ben is the same with his family. They come together because of blackmail and missing funds. Ben eagerly decides to help Diamond. Along the way, Ben and Diamond learn they have similar bdsm interest. Some scenes are very hot and not for the faint of heart. If you love kink, this is the read for you. I enjoyed it immensely.

Going Downhill
I really tried to like this book. However, I could not connect with the main characters. The storyline was boring and contained not even a scintilla of believability. I enjoyed the earlier works of this author but with each new story the mmcs become more abusive and the fmcs helpless slaves to their libido. These men are not alphas. They are controlling, abusive bullies and the women exhibit symptoms of Stockholm Syndrome. I would like to continue supporting this author but I feel the writing is going downhill rather than improving.

In the 3rd book of this series, it’s time for Ben’s story. We get glimpses of Ben in the stories of his older brother Carter and Twin Brother Michael, but there is much more to be told. Since they were younger, Ben Brooks has been more detached and intense than his brother Michael. However, we flash forward to the present, and as luck would have it the opportunity arises for him to help his childhood crush Diamond Jackson. Diamond Jackson was the It-Girl, especially since high school. Not much has changed since, except when Diamond is potentially accused of a crime she didn’t commit. The first person on her list to help her out is none other than family friend Ben Brooks. Of course, Ben is more than willing to help Diamond, but at a cost: her hand in marriage. This is where our story takes off.
I won’t spoil the story, but there wasn’t a shortage of steamy romance, twists, drama, of course, humor. I enjoyed checking in with other characters, especially Ben and Diamond’s siblings. Although I had a few theories I will say I was very shocked at some of the results of some of the twists. Ben grew up thinking that no one would understand him and the one person that did is the woman he wanted all along. Whereas Diamond found that Ben was someone who truly saw the real her beyond the public persona she portrayed. The author did a great job of showing how they balance each other out. I still have a few questions, especially after the ending. Overall, I did enjoy the story and patiently looking forward to the next book.

When a woman wants a man!
What is a woman (Diamond) willing to do to get a man’s (Ben) attention? Especially when she knows of his obsession with her. She creates a situation that she knew would get his attention and help. The help came at a price. Marriage!
As much as I enjoyed this book, I felt the story was too rushed and incomplete, as if the author felt she had to wrap it up. Her previous books in this series were more layered and better edited.

The dark knight Brooks brother. I still feel like this story isn’t finished. That is why I feel like it’s a continuing saga, almost like a sexy soap opera with sensual alphas and the women they love almost to obsession. Love the fact that Diamond always saw the real Ben. what seemed like an obsession was actually love. orchestrated by both of them. we assumed that Diamond was a victim of one of the Brooks brothers, but she planned her own form blackmail that snagged her one. these two were a sexy pair. and just what the other needed.

So this book was more than expected. I absolutely love the story love the characters would totally recommend if you are interested in a book with slightly crazy people, but they love each other and people with the slide obsession.lol is a genuinely good book. Definitely recommend anyone read.

Plot Twist ... I was so shocked by who set this all up! I was peeved @ Ambra in that she invaded Ben's privacy on the laptop. Do not think I will read her story 🤔 Diamond was clever and got her man & HEA! Bryce no words for him or Peter!!!!

Very Good
This was very good! Ben really went to extremes to marry Diamond! However, Diamond on the the other hand, to be engaged to cover for someone you knew you were not going to marry.....But this book kept you wanting to know what's next! I love the way your books connect! Can't wait for the next series!!

Will be reading this again
I see myself reading this over and over, the way Diamond & Ben deal with there issues make me think of my daughter, she likes giving herself pain. She even thought about a piercing down there & a nipple pierce. With her getting rid of her current boyfriend, who knows what she will do. I know she also into BDSM she is a female Dom. Can’t wait to read what happen to Mouse, but this was a very sexy mind blowing read.

major twists
This was so good! Diamond and Ben got each other and were just meant to be. I was super shocked by the plot twist at the end but enjoyed the build up and story development. This entire series is a reminder of how east it is to miss the love right in front of you. Looking forward to the continuation of Mouse’s story.

I thought Michael was aggressive in the last book in this series, HOWEVER Micheal has nothing on Ben. They always say to watch out for the quiet ones lol. From their first encounter they had a kindred spirit and are two peas in a pod. If you are like me, you know these alphas believe in going hard or go home. In some parts, I was giving side-eyes to the characters, so I had to finish it in one sitting. I could not put it down. It was worth it though.
However, for some this book may be a turn-off because it shows a picture of if one is filthy-powered rich, nothing stands in the way of getting what they want. Absolutely, nothing else mattered when being anal about something. Ben, definitely, was but he got Diamond to be her real self with him.
Ms. Williams has done it again. If you’ve been following this series, I recommend digging in. If you are new to the series, you may want to start with book 1 in the series (Carter). With her new series, hopefully we don’t have to wait too long for the new Lost and Found series.

It was an okay, quick read.
Ben and Diamond grew up together and secretly have had crushes on each other to the point of very stalkerish behavior coming from Ben that we find out at the end Diamond knew all about.
I liked that there was no unnecessary third-act breakup like I thought there would be. I liked that they both set each other up in the end but it’s leaving me feeling like what was all this for.
Diamond went through all these hoops to get his attention but couldn’t she just be upfront and honest to him about how she felt. If she knew all along that he was obsessed with her then why wouldn’t she think that he’d be down for whatever she offered. Idk, it was kinda stupid.
I enjoyed the spice but didnt like in the beginning how he kept running from her, like if he’s so obsessed with her then why isn’t he wanting to spend the most amount of time with her now that he finally has her?
I wish some things were different but it wasn’t terrible.

I’m not exactly sure how I feel about this book. I love the author and have read 90% of her books. This one didn’t quite do it for me. It read like someone else wrote it or a first timer writer. The MCs were not very likable imho. Spoilers- stalker to love of my life is a little far-fetched. Also the big reveal was kinda icky. I did like the chemistry between the leads, contradictory, I know. And I loved the incorporating of previous characters. The usual banter and humor wasn’t as pronounced. It seemed a bit rushed. I would recommend reading her other books, the bargain series and the st. Pierre brothers were awesome. This one is a good not great read.

new to this author
Thought I’d try this suggested read though I Wasn’t sure. A high school crush and extreme introvert has a crush on a girl. He handles his issues (mostly) and then when an opportunity comes up blackmails her as he’s still obsessed. Unexpected plot twists. People from past books are here. This was the first in the series for me.
Took off a point for a few editing mistakes, words used wrong ( knew vs new & tick tock not TikTok and run on sentences that I couldn’t understand )

Loved it!
I started out not liking Ben character although I understood his issues. He and Diamond are meant for each other. She is definitely the yen to his yang. But what I really like are the twist and turns. Of all the Brooks Brother series. This one was my favorite one!

I loved this series by author A.R.Williams! It’s entertaining and engaging! I thought Michael was my favorite brother but Ben has taken the top spot! He and Diamond were a perfect match and I loved their chemistry. Can’t wait to read more from this author!

I pick Ben's as my favorite
Why are all the books so short? This one was the best of the three so far. Ben's focus obsessed personality is just my type, really. Lol. I do like when the stories entwine. I find myself missing characters after reading a really great read.
