Dark...?
Uhm, so this is awkward, but can someone tell me what's dark about this?
📌 Past abuse and trauma
➥ Yes, but nothing too specific on page (it even says so in the TWs). She has scars and the novella dances around them in a vague almost reverent manner. She's not bullied for them, or mocked or even rejected. Everyone is at her 'broken' feet, worshiping the ground she walks on.
📌 Violence
➥ Sure, but again, a bloody knife and a bloodless death of a villain? Uhm... I feel like this could happen in any regular romance without anyone losing their minds about the 'darkness' of it.
📌 A stalker
➥ Unless she fucks her stalker, the presence of one doesn't make a book dark.

I am loving the web of this book series. Short and sweet and spicy novellas that are interconnected. The characters are my favorite. Obsessed and morally grey men. A woman that just needs to be loved... One way or another. I can't wait for the next part!!!

Whew, this book was absolutely a whirlwind!
This is the first book in Yara's Darkest Desires. There is another one about her best friend Izzy as well. This one follows Yara as the head of Darkest Desires, which is a dating service, and for the first time, she decided she wanted to date one of the applicants. At the same time, she is starting to notice her feelings for her bodyguard, Kazi, and she meets his "cousin" Mateo, and well, why have one when you can have two?
You're probably wondering what is so crazy about 3 love interests, nothing truly (I'm a vet in the why choose department) but it was the plot that had me on the edge of my seat. You find out there is a stalker, ok, that's fine, but then someone else is introduced, and what you think could happened might be happening but also isn't and I can't explain without giving everything away but I will be eagerly awaiting the next book because the ending had so many secrets and things that needed to come to light or will be.
For the spice, it was good! There wasn't any group scenes but there was a mfm scene that was really good. There's some animosity between Kazi and Mateo and it shows up in a fun way when they're playing and I might have seen a nod to a possible mmf in the future but it could also just be wishful thinking on my part.

What a great short read this was. I absolutely could not wait for this to come out and I was lucky enough to be able to ARC on this book by Sage RelleAnne - Author . She always writes great books that always leave you CRAVING more. All the books that I have read by her so far usually the series starts off with a cliff hanger but finish up in the next book or two. Come Inside is no different. While I was hoping that I would get more into Izzy's story, we did not ( I wasn't dissapointed after I understood why)but, instead we were introduced to Yara, Izzys best friend, and all her skeletons in this RH romance/thriller. While learning more about Yara we also learned more about some of the quieter characters from Come to Bed as well as introducesome new ones. The character development has been done very well in this series so far. Im sure there will be more characters to meet as this series unfolds. I cant wait for the next book in this series. I read this in about 2 hours. I could not put it down to go to bed when I should have. I highly recommend you immerse yourself in this series starting with Come to Bed. You won't regret it and the storyline is so worth the cliff hanger to come. Sage RelleAnne seems to put these books out fairly quickly so there isn't a terribly long wait for the next in the series. Don't mistake quick meaning low quality or writing. Nu uh! This author has a lot of bang to her punch with her wonderful writing. You don't feel like there are holes or rushed chapters. All that you are left with is the insatiable hunger for more. Enjoy! XOXO 😘

Yara is such a badass FMC. I love her strength and the way she refuses to let anyone control her life. She knows what she wants, goes after it, and doesn’t take shit from anyone. I ship her with Kazi so bad—he’s so attentive, notices the little things, and genuinely cares for her. Mateo is the aggressive one, but his protectiveness and obsession are chef’s kiss. And James—the older man with the breed kink—has undeniable chemistry with her. Their spice scenes? Yeah, they were spicing.
The stalker subplot adds even more intensity. It’s mysterious, creepy, and kept me guessing the whole way through. It’s such a refreshing twist to see the stalker as a real villain, not the MMC for once.
I devoured this book in one sitting.

I got this book as a blind date with a book. While I love a "why choose" book, this was a bit lack luster for me. In no way was the character able to develop the connection for an authentic why choose. The birth control tampering was also unrealistic - who would be so drunk that they wouldn't feel their arm being sliced into?
Also, small world for her to connect with her friends dad and now may be pregnant with his baby? It all felt way too unrealistic coming. I also was not a fan of back and forth 1st person VS 3rd person (the author did warn of this).
If you're looking for a quick read to get some smut, this author provides. Although, I've read better smut scenes than this too.
All in all, I do applaud the other at bringing light to acceptance of sexual exploration and confidence.

Oh Sage done it again!!! Was I expecting that twist or maybe two at the end? Nope not at all!!! Honestly I need the next book. I need to know what happened! I loved Yara book, it's so good! Did I expect that backstory to be so sad and depressing? No, did it make me want to cry? Yup!!! But man you guys have to read this series. Book one and on!! Because I need to know what happened to both my girls!!

And about a 🌶🌶🌶. It says that it has trigger warnings, and yeah, you might be PTSD triggered on some of the things, but honestly, most people that like the booktalk on TikTok books. You're gonna be perfectly fine, and you're gonna really enjoy this book. It's a little bit twisted and a lot of it.Holy crap really but you'll love it. Oh, and I got this book as an ALC.Listen, so I got the audiobook before it came out and the voices.Those men's voices, oh baby.

Why choose at its finest. Yara is 28 and runs her own dating service. Enter the hot older guy that’s got her attention. This book is hot and spicy. It gives some desires to be had. I love the age gap and hot she was attracted to him. This book a great read with some great twists.

She has done it again! I plowed through this one (pun intended😮💨). I read this one in a matter of hours. I couldn’t put it down! This kept my attention and the chapters always left me wanting more. This is short, spicy and addictive. This installment follows Yara and her journey to self discovery within her own business (a sexy, kink positive dating site). Where she takes the plunge into her own sexual desires and gets into a crazy, hot and drama filled situation. Leaves off on a cliffhanger that will have you screaming for more! 100% recommend.

Oh my god!!!!! Just oh my freaking god!!!! I just finished this book and I just can’t even!! The way this took me through the motions, the mystery, the spice, the tension, the ball drops, the way I couldn’t even predict what was going to happen when I thought I knew it all is just crazy!! I’m so utterly obsessed with this book and the plot. It starts off super chill and then just engulfs you in a whole world and multiple povs. Mateo is my favorite and my new book boyfriend for sure! Kazi is the sweetest of cinnamon rolls and James is an aged hunk 😍 I love the way we have so many different types of men and I know one will be an absolute favorite for everyone. I cannot wait to read more and the cliffhanger it stops on is pure perfection!
Highly highly recommend diving in! If you haven’t read any of her other books, you can read this is a standalone but it would impact more to read her others. The book is great on its own but after reading this you’ll WANT to read more I promise!!

This book was so good. Meeting Yara, a woman who has had a traumatic and rough upbringing. The difficulties she deals with internally hit me a bit harder than I thought they would. She’s extremely relatable. Yara is strong,sweet and is a boss b*tch that encourages others to explore their darkest desires! …..and she’s also one VERY lucky girl! Kazi…….Mateo……James…..my goodness!🥵 I love why choose stories! Cause I don’t know how I could choose between these men! Each is a different strength she needs. But one of them…..is definitely not who she ever expected them to be! And man…..what a shock!

Okay omg this book, has left me in awe, As I flipped through each page, my desire for more grew stronger. The characters, storyline and the spice captivated me to the point where I couldn't stop reading; I was fully engrossed in the book. Additionally, it was my first experience reading a book from both first-person and third-person perspectives, adding an intriguing element to the format.
I started reading the book with no preconceived notions, only drawn in by the breeding kink aspect that fascinated me. However, I was pleasantly surprised by the depth of content and unexpected twists that the book contained. I had only gotten halfway through the book when I started rooting for Yara to end up with Mateo and Kazi, but then James entered the scene and everything in the plot escalated to a thrilling new level.
Yara's character exudes a great deal of power and determination, making her portrayal authentic and convincing. Her journey to embrace her beauty and self-worth is compelling and worth exploring. I loved how unapologetic Yara is about her desires, even though society may not accept or understand her love and attraction. Yara, a strong and capable woman, refused to be confined by societal expectations and limitations. She adored all three men in her life who provided her with a sense of security, made her feel attractive, and filled her with a sense of wholeness, just as she enriched their lives and gave purpose to each of them.
I was impressed by the way the author portrayed the challenges faced by individuals who struggle to appreciate themselves and see their own worth. The raw and relatable emotions and feelings conveyed in the writing make it easy to connect with and fall in love with the character of Yara.
I recognize that a book with this storyline and themes may not resonate with everyone. However, Sage RelleAnne thank you for sharing Yara's darkest desires with us; It turned out to be a story we didn't even know we were yearning for. In the meantime, I can't guarantee that I'll move on from James, Mataeo, and Kazi; my heart has truly been captured.
I absolutely adored this book and strongly recommend it, as it hits all the right chords. Take your time while reading; it might just leave you craving for more.

Yara runs her own company, Darkest Desires, that sets up cilents in a safe manner where they can indulge in their ultimate fantasies. I liked Yara and was interested in her story. Yara's thoughts about herself were heartbreaking. She's a woman carrying a lot of pain, but she's quite strong. There will be readers that will be able to relate to her.
I liked the different relationship dynamics Yara had with each men. Friends to lovers. Instalove. Strangers to something more. And they all had a passion that was sizzling. I usually have a favorite man in why choose books, but I liked Mateo and Kazi. And I'm quite excited to see her relationship with JW develop. Yara deserves all the love.
I enjoyed reading this. I'm interested in seeing all the secrets around or regarding Yara slowly unravel. And to see how it affects her relationship her men and her friend Izzy. I look forward to reading the next book.

Wow, what to say about this book. I’ll be honest, I always struggle to start ARCs (ADHD problems✨), and this one was no different. Time crunch really had me by the throat 😅 but once I finally sat down to read Come Inside, I got hooked pretty quickly.
The story grabbed me from the first chapter. The way Yara’s body dysmorphia is portrayed hit hard. As someone who also struggles with body image, it felt like a slap (in a good, eye-opening way). It really shows how deep and painful those thoughts can go, to the point of feeling physically sick at your own reflection.
The book switches between multiple POVs, and that was a bit tricky for me. Yara’s chapters are written in first person, while the others are in third, and that shift threw me off a little. It’s not necessarily bad, it just made it harder for me to stay immersed at times. Totally a “me” thing, but worth mentioning.
Once I hit about 20%, though, I couldn’t stop. I read the rest in a couple of hours. I really liked Yara as the FMC, she’s strong, clever, and real. The way she tricked Kazi into leaving the restaurant? Loved that scene. Some moments did feel a little rushed or not fully developed, but overall, the story kept me engaged.
The spice was chef’s kiss 🔥 steamy, well written, and it fit the story instead of feeling forced. And the twist with the stalker? I totally fell for the misdirection. The author did a great job making me think it was one person only to pull the rug out from under me.
I also appreciated that it didn’t end on a huge cliffhanger. I get so frustrated with books that do that, so it was nice to close this one feeling satisfied (though maybe that’s helped by the fact that I already have book two as an ARC ready to go 👀).
Overall, Come Inside was a solid 3⭐ read for me, enjoyable, emotional, and with some strong moments that stuck with me. It didn’t completely blow me away, but I’m glad I read it and I’m definitely curious to see where the next book goes.

This is indeed such a quick yet enjoyable read for me! I might be bias since the author, Sage RelleAnne, is one of my favorites and definitely are my instant read whenever I see her books, yet that’s only because she always nailed it in each of her books!
As for this one, at first I thought it’ll be a continuation from her previous Come To Bed, which I’m eager to know in regards of what happens next for Izzy, yet I was wrong since this book is about Izzy’s bestie, Yara, yet still interconnected with the previous book that I mentioned. I think it’s best if you have read Come To Bed before Come Inside, but it doesn’t affected much if you read this book first too since this is book 1 of Yara’s darkest desires, while the other is book 1 of Izzy’s darkest desires. Both ended in a cliffhanger after some reveals but totally worth it!
I love the characters (especially the fmc), especially because even though they’re presented with flaws / insecurities, they still appears as badass and doesn’t easily succumb to their negativity. In addition to that, there are always some sort of motivation included here and there throughout the story while the flaws and insecurities being laid out, as in it’s acted like some kind of hook for us too to not dwell much on negativity.
The plot growth is good too, there’s mystery, thrill, as well as spices being thrown in the mix for such an entertaining and glued till the end kinda reading. Most of our questions and guesses while reading will be answered towards the end yet still we’ll be served with another kind of question for the cliffhanger as tease for us for the next book, and indeed, I’m looking forward for both book 2 of these two besties journeys! The wait usually isn’t that long too so yes feel free to start your reading now! 🫶🏻🫶🏻

Sage has quickly become one of my favorite authors and this new addition did not disappoint.
This story follows Yara, Izzy’s best friend from ‘Come To Bed’. While on the outside Yara is a confident and determined FMC, she is also trying to hide from things from her past that no one, not even Izzy know. She’s navigating being the face of her adult dating site while keeping her past life as private as possible.
To help her along the way we are introduced to her assistant Kazi. To Yara, Kazi is more than her assistant, he’s her right hand. She depends on him for more than keeping her schedule. Kazi knows there are threats against Yara and he enlists Mateo to help keep her safe.
To add to the everyday stresses of running a successful business, Yara has a stalker. Throughout the story we get glimpses of who the stalker is and his motivation. It’s not until the very end of the story the stalker’s identity is revealed and it’s definitely a shocker!
I loved these characters! Yara is a fierce FMC with an almost in-your-face attitude. She’s confident and doesn’t backdown. Kazi is protective of Yara but at the same time he possesses a gentleness with her. And Mateo has that deliciously dominant personality that we love in our book boyfriends. And then there is JW. Don’t want to give to much about him away but I think he might end up being my favorite! YUM!
There are also many twists and secrets along the way with so many questions left unanswered. I can’t wait for the next installment in this series!

Yara has had a past that I wouldn't wish on my worst enemy, from being abused from her father to an ex that was no better, she ran from. She wanted to help others not be embarrassed of the sexual wants, so she created and runs her own dating site. She uses it to find her own date to end up going on a date with J.W. You learn that this date brings to light a secret that involves her best friend Izzy.
There are no spoilers here, so let's just say the twist and turns throughout this book kept me on edge. Now her assistant Kazi has been by her side and protecting her for 10 years. I fell in love with him. His feelings for her were so genuine, yes, he is not who he said he was, and he wasn't supposed to develop feelings for her, but things happen. I was pulling for him. Mateo can be unhinged, but his protectiveness over Yara comes from a good place. He fell hard for her. Kazi and Mateo don't mind sharing her with each other, but no one else. Their protectiveness reallying gets strong when Yara is stalked and threatened.
This read was definitely full of spice, with age gap, breeding kinks, dark twists and turns, secrets unraveling, and touch her and 💀 vibes.
Now Sage RelleAnne reads have amazing cliffhangers, and Come Inside is no different. I can't wait to find out what happens next. Sage will leave you craving for more. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ and the spice, oh, we know Sage can write spicy scenes 🌶🌶🌶🌶🌶

If you’re already familiar with Sage’s books, you can dive straight into the action. But if you’re new to this rollercoaster, I’d recommend checking the trigger warnings first.
This story is packed with secrets and surprises — constant “Wait, what?!” and “How?!” moments. But the most frequent (and nail-biting) one was definitely “Who?!”
And the steam level? Out of this world. So many delicious kinks!
We have:
- A stalker tied to our FMC’s traumatic past.
- A FMC with deep scars — a survivor who must accept how strong and beautiful she truly is. A fierce, successful businesswoman running a taboo dating site for people with particular interests.
- MMCs who are all complex and full of secrets:
- The “assistant” — a friend she’s attracted to but afraid to lose. Calm and protective.
- The security — another protector, but also a punisher for those who hurt her.
- The older man she meets for a night of desire — meant to be a gift to herself, but it ends up being a night full of surprises.
Sage’s books always explore strong, important themes. One line really stuck with me:
“Men never quite listened when a woman said no. They had to wait for a man to back her up.”
So true, so often.
And just when you think you’ve figured out the plot? BOOM! A twist hits and leaves you screaming. Simply wonderful.
Sage delivers dark, emotional, and ethereal reads that I devour as fast as I can.

ARC Review: Come Inside by Sage RelleAnne

As always *Chefs Kiss* to Sage for a wonderful novella and hot men. This book however was too short for me haha I need lore. I need to know more about these men with Yara and the cliffhanger she left us on. The stalker identity was a HUGE shock to me and idk how to take it. I need more haha. The plot twist are definitely twisting. And I devoured this novella in about an hour and a half tops, I just couldn’t put it down.
YARA- She has scars inside and out. She owns her own company that she built with blood, sweat, and tears. She is fierce and gives no sh!+s about how people pet rat her company “Dark Desires”, everyone needs a safe place to have their kinks and darkest fantasies experienced. She has secrets and a stalker that just won’t leave her alone…
KAZI- He is her assistant but he has secrets that she has no clue about. However he wants her but he sees her scars and even though he doesn’t know her full story he will do anything to protect her even if it means sharing her…( MISS YAYA/ JAGIYA)
MATEO— he is an associate of Kazi’s but when he sees her he understands everything but has this urge to protect her at all costs. He won’t let her get away even if that means sharing… (HIS LITTLE BEE)
STALKER— his DOLL, she got away but when he found her again it’s only a matter of time before he reclaims her, she has no idea who he truly is. No one will come between them being together again….
