OMG what a great book! I’m normally not a friends to lovers kinda girl but this was pure gold! I read this book practically in one sitting! Josh and Paisley were the cutest! This book had me on an emotional roller coaster. Thank you so much Bee for allowing me to read this book before it’s out for the public!
This is a master piece and I cannot wait for the store to continue! Her family, her friends, her and their journey was all just so amazing!

I loved the basis of this story. I am a sucker for fake dating, and the childhood friends to lovers was so good! I, unfortunately, did not enjoy the writing style and found it hard to get through because it took me out of the story.

I absolutely adored this book! Thank you to Bee for choosing me to be one of your ARC readers! I'm so lucky to have read this early because I've been so excited to get my hands on it since she started teasing it on Instagram. Let me be the first to tell you that this book is worth the read!!
This story follows the main characters, Josh and Paisley. Paisley has just returned from her year at college to enjoy the summer at home in Jersey. As she settles back into the swing of things, she reconnects with her childhood best friend, Josh. They haven't spoken in a while, but as the story progresses it's obvious that their connection is unmatched. Due to some issues from the past, they decide to fake date each other. Although it started as fake, their relationship developed into something bigger and more serious. I will say the story ends in a way that makes you feel sad and satisfied all at the same time. I'm honestly so glad Paisley and Josh's story isn't finished because I loved this world that Bee created. I just didn't want to stop reading!
This story was everything I needed it to be! It had banter, arguments, make-ups, action, an engaging storyline aside from the romance, and the best side characters. Sierra and Beau (if you know you know) were one of the best parts of this book. A lot of books create side characters but tend to brush them off and write them in a way that gives them no substance. Not Bee, though. She wrote Sierra and Beau in a way that allows readers to see the complexity of their characters and have them craving more of them. Especially Beau. I can't wait to see what's in store for them too!
All in all, this book was an amazing debut! I'm patiently waiting for Bee's next release. Fingers crossed that it's soon because I miss Josh, Paisley, Sierra, and Beau already :)

Eeeeek! This was such an amazing book. I literally couldn’t stop reading it. This book has so much more depth than your typical romance. Sometimes a romance book is so frilly, cheesy, and insta-lovey that there is no anticipation, and it is just so far from believable—that is not the case here! I was able to envision and feel everything in this book so perfectly because it felt like a REAL love story the entire time. The characters…fantastic. I want to pluck Josh right off the page, and I want to be besties with Paisley (and I want to throttle Darcy, but anyway). My heart was warmed, and my eyes were not dry. ALSO, the spice—wonderfully and tastefully written. Maybe the most exciting part…the story is not over!!! Bee, you knocked it out of the park. I can’t wait to read more. ♡
