I wanted to love this book so much. The characters and concept were so cool. However, 90% was quite repetitive character introduction with some very obvious "twists" and very little of the actual magic being developed or explained. I see what it was supposed to be, but I just kept hoping it would get better and it didnt.

THIS WAS SO GOOD. In a Taurus Monologue, Mae M. Miller gives us romance, spice, adventure, and astrology all in one. We follow a group of friends-turned family as they discover more Zodiac Witches in a world of humans. If you’re a fan of suspenseful exciting scenes with a fun cast of characters this book is perfect. Most of the book is told from Blair’s point of view, with several POV switches that add amazingly to the story. Blair and her best friend/soul sister Iris must put themselves out there, risking their lives and their hearts in search of others to help protect themselves. One of my favorite aspects of this book was the strengths of each character and their respective zodiac traits. Mae M. Miller created a world that is a must read!

I absolutely loved this book! The dynamic between the characters and their relationships kept me hooked the entire time. I especially enjoyed how their zodiac signs were woven into unique powers—it made the story so fun and original. There were a few twists I didn’t see coming, which kept things exciting, and the ending left me really eager for a sequel. Can’t wait to see where the story goes next!

It took me a while to get used to the writing and I thought about giving up - which I’m glad I didn’t. I don’t know why but my Kindle was not accepting the editing of the book and it was looking funny - I have other books downloaded and they dont have the same issues.

Anyway… it was entertaining. I’m not one to believe in the zodiac signs and therefore I don’t have any clue wtf a Sagittarius’ personality looks like, but the idea of witches having powers based on their star signs was very interesting and quite fresh (if you ignore Zodiac academy lol).

The book overall is great, and one of the things that I don’t normally see in other books is small descriptions of what people are doing in the background. For example, when they were all reunited and the focus was on Iris, but somehow Blair would describe Noa and Oliver having a laugh at something completely unrelated. I thought this was a characteristic that made me feel present in the story.

I loved how easy it was for all of them to simply become a big family. They were just collecting a bunch of people and they all clicked and life was good. I really liked it. Every single one of them (with the exception of Henry because for now he’s kinda meh) is extremely interesting.

I had a feeling Gabe was involved with the bad coven. I knew it from the first time Blair and him got together, it just made sense.

I’m looking forward to reading the next book and really hope it’s from Noa’s POV.

I highly recommend this book if you love zodiac signs/birth charts, crystals, herbs, and especially FOUND FAMILY!

I loved the power system in this book. Each witch gets a power (and eye color) based off their Zodiac sign. The powers were quite unique but they fit the signs well. For example, the Gemini power is a twin of that person who can separate from them and do whatever the original wants them to or a Scorpio has poisonous blood that kills a person very fast.

I absolutely loved this book. It is a bit overwhelming to remember each person and their sign but if it was important to know in the scene it was mentioned. At first, I just thought it was going to be a romance book for a while because the MC, Blair, kept going over to her bed buddy’s, Gabe’s, place but eventually it got into more of the plot and stuff. The over all plot to this book was a bit predictable but not in a bad way.

I really cannot wait for the next book! I want to see where certain people’s relationship goes and if the next book will still be in Blair’s POV or from another person’s.
