A newly poor rich girl, a bad-boy baseball player—and his hate-at-first-sight teammate—fake it for the cameras in this steamy, angsty why choose romance.
Savannah When my father’s company goes bankrupt, my perfect country club princess life goes with it. Goodbye, grad school. Goodbye, health insurance. Enter Brayden Forsyth, the black sheep of baseball’s royal family, whose team is threatening to cut him from the roster unless he cleans up his act.
When he offers me a better life in exchange for help rehabbing his image, I say yes—even after he gets down on one knee. I know we can fake the perfect marriage. After all, I’ve been faking being the perfect daughter—and faking certain other things—for most of my life. What’s one more act? All I have to do is play by Brayden’s rules: Cheer from the sidelines. Smile for the cameras. And definitely don’t befriend his intense new teammate…
Brayden What’s the point of being a big-leaguer if you can’t have a little fun? But my team issued an ultimatum: prove I’m a responsible family man or pack my bags. The problem? I think I might be falling for my fake wife. And I’m not the only one…
Asher Unlike Brayden with his perfect pedigree and irritatingly handsome face, I was raised to work hard for everything I get. If he wants to take his beautiful new wife for granted, I’ll teach him a lesson—and steal her away from him. Game on.
This was a fun read for me. I had been waiting for this after reading Amiee's first two books where we got a peeks of Savannah in Expanded Roster and then Brayden in Triple Play. I absolutely love marriage of convenience, sports romance and why choose so I knew I'd have a good time. I loved the twist in this story. The complexity of the characters and ultimately their story kept me invested.
Savannah, Brayden and Asher are a complicated throuple. They have such an interesting start and an emotional journey witch culminates into a fiery and passion filled future. There is tons of longing and tension. The chemistry sizzles and when it all comes together it becomes a beautiful love story.
I love the growth Savannah and Brayden both go through and without Asher that wouldn't be possible. I enjoyed they dynamics between all the pairings and when they are all together. I just wanted more time and insight into Asher and Brayden.
I cant wait to see what else Amiee writes. I have loved all of her books and have enjoyed seeing the growth in her writing. I loved every minute of this.
Thank you to Amiee Rivkin for this book. These are my honest opinions and feelings.
I love a good why choose romance and Aimee hit this one out of the park!
The story starts off with our FMC Savannah, who has pretty much lived her life as the story book princess that wants for nothing. That is until her fathers company goes bankrupt and they have to repo most of all their belongs. Now she finds herself without health insurance (she suffers from chronic migraines), no working credit cards, and her future of attending a prestigious college going up in flames. Enter Brayden Forsyth, pro ball player with a bad boy reputation for partying and drinking. While traveling for a game, he stumbles (literally drunk) into a party where Savannah is and after a brief convo he’s concocted the perfect plan to fix their situation. She needs help and money and he needs a wife to help clean up his image for the team before he’s removed from it. Cue the fake marriage and a fun, fast Vegas wedding!
Sav packs up her life and moves across the country to be the “picture perfect wife”. After arriving at the airport assuming the town car sent by the team is for her, she meets a very handsome baseball player, Asher. They spark conversation of the ride and soon become fast friends which she’s in need of after moving away from everyone.
The following weeks Asher realizes that Brayden doesn’t treat Sav like a loving wife should be treated so he makes it a point that if Brayden won’t “another man will”.
Now I’m not one for cheating and typically won’t read books with it in it but Brayden and Sav are in a FAKE marriage and at this point are not romantically involved and due to Bray’s constant antics of being drunk and coming home late (assuming he’s with other women) leaving Sav alone most days I can see how Sav felt neglected and wanted connection with Asher..
I loved how the story unfolds with the throuple scenario I don’t want to spoil it, it’s soooo good and hot! The spicy scenes were 🔥
Omg can we talk about the awful mother in law!! I am from the south and can confirm they’re are plenty of women who act like her! Ugh! I was so glad Sav wasn’t afraid to sling some Barbs (pun intended) her way!
All three characters suffer from some sort of past trauma and work through that towards the end
This story does have a HEA and the grand gesture at the end .. so sweet!!

“That’s the thing about being a princess: sometimes, you have to rescue yourself.”
It's no secret that I love a bad boy and I knew I needed Brayden’s story after meeting him in Triple Play. In desperate need of an image overhaul, he entered into a marriage of convenience with Savannah in exchange for paying for her tuition and meds, giving her a place to stay after her father's business went bankrupt. His character showed so much growth, defying expectations, overcoming guilt and shame, working through messy, complicated feelings to go after what he wanted to truly be happy.
Brayden and Asher were like fire and ice, everything a competition and a struggle for control, including Savannah. With jealousy and envy and slow-burning angst, there was so much charged energy between them. It was a love triangle at its core but I wouldn't define it as cheating even as Asher tried to steal Savannah away, more accurately as a breach of contract since Brayden and Savannah's marriage was fake.
I loved Savannah's confidence, how she was unapologetically herself, the way she reclaimed her independence and her love for herself, the power and control she had over Brayden and Asher, both of them wrapped around her finger. She was smart and ambitious, never giving up on her dreams even when the odds were stacked against her.
Deep down, Brayden was so much more than first met the eye. Living in his brother's shadow, needing to prove himself, fearing abandonment, never quite feeling worthy. I loved all the thoughtful things he did for Savannah like learning about her migraine triggers and trying to understand bioinformatics, her field of study, as well as how he supported her unconditionally. And I loved how he became a better man because of Savannah and Asher.
As Brayden and Savannah started falling for each other, they held back but then let their desires take over quite suddenly. I wasn't convinced of their connection until Brayden let himself be all in, not just physically but also emotionally, both with Savannah and with Asher. Their story was one of redefining roles and relationships, finding your people, embracing who you are and what you want, living authentically and rediscovering the meaning of home. And, of course, the bad boy getting his redemption and his HEA!

A highly deserved 5 stars from me for this book, if I could I would rate it so much higher. This book was filled with everything I could have wanted or needed and was wrote so beautifully I could not put it down and I feel if you read it, you will get the same experience. I would recommend reading Aimee's first 2 books first to get an understanding on some of the other characters but it's not necessary to do.
Our book here is unconventional to say the least, it all starts with Savannah's father's business going bankrupt all of a sudden and losing everything she has to then meeting Brayden at a baseball party where for once he is not mistook for his more successful and better brother Blake(who so happens to be a MC in one of the other books) and we'll that instantly draws him in and he ends up suggesting a beneficial marriage for the both of them, Brayden's image will improve and Savannah will be able to afford her medical care she needs and be able to attend college to get her qualification in bioinformatics. What could go wrong?
Now a twist in what would normally be your marriage of convenience, hate each other and then eventually falling in love for real, was slightly changed as there is a new baseball player, Asher who just joined the team and arrived in the city at the same point as Savannah, let's say they kicked it off and Asher ends up seeing how much of a deadbeat husband Brayden is and decides that he should have her instead.
Just to say I hate cheating but this was such a beneficial plot in the book as it ends up awakening something Brayden had buried deep down in himself after his family and the state and the church all say the only form of relationship should be with a woman and a man and not in any other way. Again let's say things heat up, tension is through the roof, as are emotions from all 3 of them but it was done so well I just couldn't put it down. I can't say too much without spoiling the book but it is definitely one to read and one I wish I would be able to read again for the first time!
Aimee, I am so glad that I found your page randomly one day before you had published your first book and have had the pleasure of being on your team ever since. Please don't stop writing and give us more from this book universe! :)
Savannah’s life is turned upside down when her father’s company goes bankrupt, putting her future ambitions and health at risk. With no money for college and no health insurance, she agrees to marry baseball’s bad boy Brayden. In exchange, he covers her needs while she helps clean up his public image. What starts as a business arrangement quickly becomes complicated and lonely when Brayden’s angsty teammate Asher enters the picture, forming a friendship with Savannah that turns into a full-on competition for her heart.
This book was a complete out-of-the-park home run. I wanted to yell at Brayden for being dumb and emotionally closed off, cried alongside Savannah as she struggled with feeling alone, and Asher absolutely brought the heat. Aimee Rivkin’s writing pulled me in fast and hard, delivering intense emotions that made this book impossible to put down. The way she explored Brayden’s internal struggle, falling for his wife while battling his feelings for Asher and the pressure of expectations from his team and religious family, added so many layers to the story. The found family dynamic that developed between the three of them, along with the team’s support, was incredibly heartfelt. Sparks flew faster than a fastball straight down the middle, and every scene delivered high heat.
While the love triangle was done well, the story relied heavily on miscommunication between Brayden and Savannah. Even after living together, they rarely had direct conversations. Savannah is described as being skilled in negotiation from helping her father, yet she never initiates basic discussions about things like transportation or practical needs, which became a bit frustrating.
Overall, I loved this book. What started as cautious warm-ups turned into a full extra-innings situation, and it never struck out for me. This was a bingeable, emotional, and spicy sports romance that completely won me over.
Recommended for readers who enjoy love triangles, rivalry, and morally complicated attraction.
Okay I read it let’s talk about it. And y’all I’m obsessed. Warning this review may contain spoilers
Brayden is your typical early aged athlete. Drafted at a young age and has more money than he knows what to do with. So what does he do. He parties. Except that doesn’t fly with his southern values baseball team. When they tell him to shape up or ship out he finds a wife in the most unlikely of places. A random college party and a Vegas drive through ceremony.
Savannah. A curvy queen with chronic migraines. When her wanna be father (more of a figure than a father) loses everything even Savannah’s own car(!) she needs a way to get back on her feet and while she doesn’t need to live a life of lavish she certainly needs her migraine medication. With a business strategy in mind she meets her prince in an unlikely place, and he can offer her everything she needs, food, a roof over her head, migraine medication, and even her college tuition. All Savannah has to do is place nice with the in laws (but honestly f*ck Barb) and be the poster baseball wife. Oh and of course forsake all others which is fine until…
Asher. Caring, charismatic, and carrying a little bit of baggage. The latest to joint th team joins the book shirtless doing yoga in the middle of the pitch. I mean c’mon. Asher is every girls dream. I mean who doesn’t love a man who doesn’t see v*brator as competition and even better buys one for our queen Savannah 😭 what starts as lust quickly turns to love and let me tell y’all he knows how to take care of her. Because who does Savannah call when she has a LITERAL leaky pipe. Asher, and our boy comes running and decidedly fixes her leaky pipes too.
This love contract turns to a love triangle that quickly turns to a loving relationship. And I’m in love with all three of them. They way that Asher and Brayden not only care for Savannah, but the way that Savannah cares for the boys is endless. And let’s not forget our new bestie Lexi!! Ugh I’m just in love with this franchise and this book and I could get used to our love birds.
Savannah, the full figured princess” who had everything a girl could want thanks to her father, but in the blink of an eye, it was gone! No home, no money, no car, no way to pay her tuition to an elite program on the east coast. She was stuck and didn’t know what she was going to do until a chance encounter at a baseball party one night flipped her world upside down, or right side up…
Brayden, the constant screw up who is slowly becoming the face that the Atlanta Peaches do not know if they want around their organization. The younger brother to his famous older brother who used to play with him on the Peaches and is constantly compared to, not only in the league but also at home. He is faced with the ultimate decision: find a good woman to be on your side or look at being traded.
Asher has had to work for everything his entire life. When no one wanted to take a chance on him, he made it his dream to have someone, anyone, recognize him and have something for his own! But when that someone who catches his eye belongs to someone else, Asher will do whatever it takes, again, to have someone recognize and want him!
When Savannah and Brayden get married to help his image and her pay for school, a marriage of convenience slowly becomes something more. All thanks to Asher who makes Brayden so jealous that Asher is looking to steal his wife, but finds himself with not only his wife becoming their wife, but a husband to another man in the process!
Cleat Chaser is the third book in the Extra Innings series! It brought all three books together of his series together and had little cameos from the first two. Marriage of convenience, bi-awakening, my wife to our wife, and jealousy to sharing. Cleat Chaser brought out all the stops and hit a home run!
First of all I wanted to say I am thankful to Aimee and her team for letting me have an ARC of this book. I found the premise very interesting, so despite not having read the other books in the series, I did want to pick this one up (you don't have to read them in order btw, I just like to if I can). I will say the beginning was a little slow. Seeing Savannah's life fall apart was very important, but at the same time it felt like reading about an adult having a temper tantrum. And while that was the point, in order to show her growth by the end of the story, it didn't make it any easier to get through at the time. However, once Asher gets introduced and has his initial plan to try to break up Savannah and Brayden, thing really get going and I didn't want to put this down. For around the first 100 pages I thought this was going to be a 3 star read, still good but ultimately forgettable. However, once Asher and Savannah have their first encounter with each other, and especially the road trip, I knew this was a book that I would be recommending left, right, and center. I loved how the three of them knew what they wanted, understood the consequences, and went back and forth with if their love could last. It made it feel very real. Each character grew so much throughout the story. And it wasn't an overnight thing. It took time and effort on their part, again feeling very real. The only criticism I had by the end of the book is I wish we got a little deeper into the past traumas of Brayden and Asher. We heard a lot about Savannah and her struggles, would have been nice to flesh out theirs a little more as well. However, still a great book to pick up if you are into MMF relationships and sports romances. I enjoyed it so much I already have plans to pick up the other two books by this author as well.

This was such a cute read—I enjoyed it immensely. Savannah (Sav) and Brayden enter a fake marriage: he needs to repair his public image, and she needs healthcare to afford her medication. Sav uproots her entire life and moves across the country. When she lands at the airport, she mistakenly assumes a car is waiting for her—only to discover it’s actually for Asher Adler, the team’s new traded player. They share the ride and quickly strike up a friendship. Asher soon realizes he has feelings for Sav and, instead of crossing lines, he tries to push Brayden to step up and be a better husband… though he’s more than willing to take his place if Brayden doesn’t. I wouldn’t consider the first spicy scene cheating—they are in a fake marriage, after all. Brayden ends up being far more than he initially appears. His guilt and jealousy surface when he realizes Asher understands Sav’s migraines—what triggers them and what helps—on a deeper level than he does. What I loved most is that this story is ultimately about self-discovery: loving and supporting someone unconditionally, living authentically, finding your voice, and fighting for what you want no matter the cost. the spicey scenes were sprinkled in and enhanced the story it didnt detract from the storyline.
The grand gesture at the end is incredibly sweet and ties the HEA together perfectly. From start to finish, I was completely hooked.
thankyou to Aime Rivkin and @LoveNotes.pr for the ARC in exchange for an honest review .
Review for Cleat Chaser!! 💍Overall⚾️ Rating:⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️/5
THANK YOU SO MUCH AUTHOR FOR THE ARC! Now let’s get to the review!
Okok, sorry for the delay in getting this review done, but Cleat Chaser was a really great book! It was spicy in some places and the banter was good in another!
I think the only down on my end is that the writing was a bit confusing, in some places, for me.

꒰🤍꒱This book was not the easiest to read, I thought it was slower to read, in my opinion. ꒰💚꒱THE CAT, I LOVED BABY THE CAT 😭 ꒰🤍꒱ I would totally read the other books this author has, they seem pretty interesting. ꒰💚꒱I need more of their domestic scenes, they were really cute and heartwarming(ESPECIALLY WITH ASHER AND BRAYDEN)

Asher Alder⚾️ He was a cool character, he did flirt with our girl Savannah first…so idk. But like he’s alright and wished i could’ve seen more of him…
Brayden Forsyth⚾️ Another baseball bro, he was cool too. I didn’t get what he saw in Savannah when they first met but like good for him for falling for her 😭
Savannah Burke 🔬 Here’s our girl Savannah, I think her goal for college(and grad school) for pretty cool! The way she can handle them both is also questionable…but anyways!~ She’s great and loved her character, unlike the men she shares a bed with…but other than, great!

Anyways, sorry for the really late review, but thank you soooo much for reading it! See you guys for the next one!
I have to say that Aimee is carving her own Slow Burn Why Choose journey with this series. Thank you for sharing an advanced copy with me 💜💜💜
The MC’s in this book have ties to the first two books so I would suggest going back and enjoying those stories as well. There’s a bit of a time overlap with Triple Threat, but they are in separate locations so still quite independent from each other. You can definitely follow along without, but I always choose more is better ;)
There was a very real and honest depiction of chronic migraines, but also alcoholism, misogyny, homophobia and strict religious themes that grounded this story. (Check Aimee’s content warnings for the full list) I don’t mean that in a “it’s a downer book”, there were plenty of steamy moments and I enjoyed Savannah’s classmates and Lexi from the WAGs, but there was a realness or honesty to this story.
It was really heartwarming to see Brayden’s progression throughout, plus the adoration he and Asher had for Savannah.
Did I squirm on the couch for hours? not quite, but the intensity and passion was there and I genuinely wanted these characters to find their HEA.
Aimee Rivkin does it again! For anybody who looks upon a love triangle and thinks “por que no los dos?”, the third book in this series delivers a home run.
Savannah’s in a pickle—her father has gone bankrupt, she can’t afford health insurance or her tuition—when she stumbles in Brayden Forsythe, professional ball player and all around drunkard who needs to look like he’s cleaned up his act. A fake marriage sounds all well and good for the two of them…until Asher Adler walks in with his yoga shorts and crop top and infuriating smirk. “Is it hot in here” turns “whoops I caught feels” quicker than a fastball over home plate.
This book is a masterclass in navigating a tricky & oft-hated microtrope (cheating) with respect for all parties and minimal emotional discomfort. It’s a spicy, steamy romp you’ll want to hang on your wall and make itself at home!
OMG besties… "Cleat Chaser" had me hooked from the fake vows to the very real tension. This book serves MMF, marriage-of-convenience chaos with baseball swagger and emotional bite. Savannah is a freshly broke former rich girl princess with a sharp STEM brain and zero patience for nonsense... my kind of FMC 😉. Brayden is the reckless bad-boy ballplayer trying to save his career, while Asher... Lawd. Hate-at-first-sight, intense, and absolutely not here to play nice.
The fake marriage quickly turns messy, steamy, and deliciously angsty as lines blur and feelings catch fire. Found family vibes, locker-room heat, and a why-choose dynamic that builds instead of rushes. If you love smart heroines, competitive MMCs, and “oops we’re all in love” energy... add this to your TBR. Will not be disappointed!😉
My Ratings: ⭐ 4.5/5 ▪︎ 🥵 3/5
🥀 For my rating scale breakdown, head over to my Goodreads &/or Amazon profile! 🖤
This is my book!! I am truly grateful to everyone who stuck with me through the lonnng process of writing this one — and to all my new friends willing to give this one a try!! I began this sometime in fall 2024 and then had to set it aside for a number of months before coming back to Savannah, Brayden, and Asher's story.
Definitely give this one a go if you like a steamy baseball romance with a curvy FMC who dreams of working in STEM and needs health insurance to cover her chronic migraines (IYKYK, etc.), a bad-boy baseball player who needs to clean up his act, and his intense teammate who sees him neglecting his new (fake) wife and decides to win her for himself.
Oh, and did I mention it's MMF with a bi awakening? This one is a little heavier than my other books, so def. check out the content notes on my website.
This one came from a pretty emotional place so hope it makes you as happy (or as teary tbh) as it made me.
Another awesome why choose/poly romance from Aimee! Brayden had a lot of demons at first and was kind of a straight up ass, but I knew Savannah would be enough to make him get his act together. of course, then comes Asher to tempt them both and the rest is history. The spice was great (I would say 3 peppers?), and I adored the side characters (minus the coach and Bray’s parents). Pretty much the entire road trip of away games was my favorite part because that really changed the trajectory of their whole throuple-situation. “Baby” was a fun little addition and watching the boys become reluctant cat daddies was the cutest. I loved getting to see Blake make appearances throughout as I’ve read both of Aimee’s other books. There’s a third act breakup, but the ending is definitely worth it IMO! Another one I’ll definitely be recommending!
Oh yeah! I heard about this book coming out and jumped for joy. I love sports romance like nobodies business so I can honestly say I devoured this one. Marriage of convenience and why choose with sports? Match made in heaven in my book. Savannah is interesting as she has wanted for nothing and had it all it seemed but life is different when her fathers business goes bankrupt. Now she is the poor rich girl if you will. Now she is at a party where Brayden is and he comes up with the perfect plan. It's a win win. He needs a wife to clean up his reputation and she needs the money to have a life. She meets Asher who is a teammate and Asher quickly realises Brayden doesn't treat Sav the way a wife should be treated. This is so good and remember it is a fake marriage. I liked this a lot and the relationship between Asher and Sav is so nice to see too.
I absolutely loved this story. What starts as a way to fix the needs of two people that meet by chance, turns into a love that makes up for all of the crap life has thrown at them- with a sweet twist in the form of another person. Sometimes the family we are given is toxic and life chooses the perfect family for you to make up for that.
Savanah, Brayden and Asher learn that they deserve more than an “image” that is expected of them. They each bring out parts of each other that they’ve always felt needed to be hidden and when they do- you can feel what it truly means. I loved them all, but my gosh did I love Asher and really just want him to feel the love.
This is a why choose, fake marriage, sports romance. There are real life themes- some of which are toxic family, homophobia, substance abuse and cheating.
When Savannah’s father loses all of their money, she can’t go back to school or her migraine medication. When Brayden Forsyth needs to clean up his image, he offers her a deal. He takes care of her financially and she poses as his wife. She takes the deal and marries Bray.
Brayden is a pro baseball player and has a new teammate, Asher. When Asher sees how Brayden doesn’t pay attention to his wife, he decides he wants to make a move on her. Savannah begins a secret relationship with Asher, but Brayden is also falling for his wife! When these three begin a poly relationship, it threatens the image they’ve all tried to protect.
Read this to see how this throuple get their HEA ⚾️
MMF 👨🏻👨🏻👩🏻 Bi awakening Baseball players Plus size heroine
My first impression of Brayden are that he is a complete and selfish jerk who is only thinks of himself. I get this impression from his part in the second book of this series and the first 40% of the book where he is dismissive of Savannah.
But Asher, woah. Bold, forward, and clear with what he wants. "I want to f*ck you until he isn't your husband." Asher is a little too forward but there's something about him that draws me to him.
I think I hate both men on their own, but once they figure out how to work together as a team. I think they're a dream team. It seems like sometimes you just need to find the right person or people in order to be your best and most true self. Cleat Chaser takes us through this journey impeccably.
Marriage of convenience at its finest! Savannah needed money, Brayden needed a wife, Asher needed…well, I’m not sure what Asher needed! I know what he wanted…but not what he needed! 😁 I loved how he knew what (who) he wanted and went after her because he thought she deserved better! Such a romantic!
Brayden had one of the best redemption arcs I’ve read in a while. It was quiet and understated, but he rocked it!! Savannah had some tough times and some tough decisions, but they made the story great! Watching these three come together and the circumstances surrounding their relationship was super gratifying!
Super cute romance and super cute characters! I absolutely recommend this book and the whole series!!
But please check your triggers. There is definitely cheating. And alcohol abuse. These three all come with some baggage. But perhaps Brayden has the most to work through and his self destructive behaviour can be hard to watch. And I wish the book spent more time addressing his recovery.
In some ways it felt like a slow burn. And in other ways it felt like they fell into and accepted this why choose situation rather quickly. But I can’t deny that these 3 are hot and so good together and I had fun with this book. 🔥🔥🔥
2.5 stars, rounding up - I hate to say it, but unfortunately, this one didn't really do it for me. I understand that this was supposed to be a "slow burn" romance for the FMC and MMC within the marriage of convenience plot, but instead it felt as if the characters just jumped from cold to hot with each other about halfway through the book. It didn't feel like there was ever a happy medium ground where they got to know each other and slowly started to realize their feelings for each other. Instead, their unfounded jealousy seemed to be the basis of their entire emotional connection.
On the flip side, the FMC and the other MMC immediately fell into an instalove trope, which was annoying in and of itself, without the addition of the whole on top of that. Additionally, I never really understood the MMC's attraction to each other, it didn't really feel like that was properly explored (other than one whole scene) and, instead, we dove head first straight into them being in a relationship.
Overall, didn't really like this one. Bonus points for it being a really quick read, I guess, but with the MASSIVE I'd have to deduct those points right away.
Please pay attention to the trigger warnings because this does touch on some pretty heavy topics.
This is a why choose that put me through the emotional ringer that’s the truth. I cried so much for each of the main characters, my heart ached for their silent struggles. I also proud of the growth that each of them made by the end of the story. The spice was phenomenal, the romance was a little dicey at times but the bond between these three genuinely warmed my heart.
aimee’s books are always great & this was obviously no different! sav, bray, & asher’s story was fantastic!! it wasn’t a fully typical mmf romance (the way they got together), but it worked so well! their story was also full of love, self-acceptance, and steamy chemistry!! so so freaking good <3
also savannah!!! my girl!!! i’ve never read a book where one of the mcs had chronic migraines & this made me feel so seen tbh. from her auras to her sensitivity to smell, sav is literally me!!! my twin fr!!
I really enjoyed this. Fantastic character growth including rich girl growing up and standing on her own two feet, religious upbringing to bi-awakening, and overcoming traumatic childhood. Check TWs as this includes alcoholism, cheating, and implications of childhood domestic violence. Starts as a slow burn but the three MCs then seem to fall headfirst into polyamory when they finally get there. I have not read Aimee’s previous books and did not need to for this but I will now go and enjoy those too!
What to expect Enemies To Lovers Why choose Marriage of convenience Slow burn Forced proximity
This is book 3 in the series.
The absolute hottest chapters I recall reading in 2025 came from this book...
I've read all books in the series and this is my new favourite, and the steamiest 🥵🥵🥵🥵🥵🥵🥵🥵🥵🥵
The hate to love was incredible its hard to review this book without spoilers.... I will absolutely have this on rotation when I need a book to reread....
Okay I am an absolute sucker for both why choose and baseball player stories. But this one? Absolutely amazing! The tension and the chemistry between the three characters is absolutely hot! I also really love how their personalities all complement each other. Incredibly well written and the storyline is incredible. Absolutely is a must read!!
This is my very first baseball read. And I loved every minute of it. The why choose, the chaos, the fake marriage…what more could you ask for? Oh yeah, two hot guys. That’s what. The dynamic of this story was awesome. The twists and turns were great. This had me hooked from the beginning. I devoured this one in one sitting. The spice was spicing in this one. I really enjoyed this one a lot. I hope to read more from this author. Thank you for allowing me to be a part of your ARC team.
[eARC]This was a playful read for me. It was easy to fall into with the sports aspect fun and fast-paced. The chemistry between the characters was strong and the banter was playful. I thought the football setting added just the right amount of tension and excitement.
Overall, a light and entertaining read with heart. I thought it was perfect if in the mood for a swoony athlete romance that doesn’t take itself too seriously.
Another fun, enjoyable, why choose romance from Aimee Rivkin! I loved that this book had connected characters from the first 2 books of this series. I'm glad we got Brayden's story after meeting him in the previous book. I really liked Asher from the moment I met him. Savannah's growth took some time, but I liked how the whole story played out with her, Brayden, and Asher.
