It’s a quick read (depending how fast you read 🤣). Do read the forewarning as some of your boundaries may be crossed.
Our FMC Sadie, a 40 year old teacher has been through everything to try and conceive, to no avail. She believes her marriage is strong, they support each other through the emotions of unsuccessful IVF. Until one day her world is turned upside down. A chance meeting, a business card with a name and number lands in her hands. Fearing she has nothing left to lose she dials the number. Her meeting Bull, a 30 year old ‘adonis’, who offers an unorthodox service, is an eye opener to what she is missing in her life thus her journey starts, however there are rules:- ‘anonymity’, ‘discretion’, ‘regular check ins’, one location meets’, ‘respect boundaries’, ‘no falling in love’, all of which Sadie agrees to and so her journey begins.
I enjoyed this read as it was a little different to my usual books, I loved the fact she was older than him, made a nice change 😉 The storyline was good imo but it may not appeal to all readers, as I know some people have trigger tropes. Though now I’m wondering where I can acquire a business card like that of his 🤭❤️

Oh man this book was good!! I love bull and Sadie. Amazing story and full of spice!! Bull is tall and big. You will be blushing and melting as you read this book. The things Bull says makes you say omg. Oof he is blunt. Maya is an amazing job writing this book. So happy I got a chance to read her debut novel.

This was a good little short. I loved the connection between our FMC and MMC. He definitely fell first and was good for her. His revenge on her ex-husband! It was nice to read how she grew in to her confidence.

The Bull follows a young, attractive man who helps women who have lost nearly all hope but want to continue their journey to grow their family “the old fashioned way.” His job is simple enough with minimal rules; the most important being: don’t fall in love.
Sadie, a 40yo teacher has failed IVF for the third time only to return home from work one day to find her husband is cheating on her..
Follow this story as Sadie and Bull attempt to create healthy lifestyle changes to encourage a natural pregnancy while trying to avoid the natural consequences of building a relationship- feelings.
I enjoyed most of this story. Kind of a new trope for me- with the Open Relationship/ contemporary romance. It was a good read that kept me interested throughout the whole story. The plot line was solid, character development was good, but I felt that the execution could’ve used just a little more detail. I now know that Maya intended it to be a short spicy novella, and that’s exactly what it is. I liked the Duel POVs, but wish I could’ve had more showing of Bull’s feelings. An abrupt twist at the end had me cringing slightly but also curious enough that I couldn’t stop reading!! Overall enjoyed this authors writing style, and you best believe I will continue to read more books from Maya.

so grateful to have received this book as an arc. the author reached out to me on tiktok because she saw I was on booktok. so when she showed me the blurb I was very interested. “the bull” by maya hill is a 45k word novella that leaves you satisfied and looking for more.
if this book went another 100 pages I wouldn’t be sad. it kept me quiet interested.
bull: he lacks a bit of personality. always saying the same things more then once every time she feels less confident about telling her husband about what’s going on. “I’m here for you, take it one step at a time” very repetitive.
sadie: who is a 40-year old teacher that’s been trying to get pregnant by her husband for years finally seeks out someone who could possibly help her more then her husband. that guy turns up to be bull. you pay him money and he’ll help you get pregnant the old fashion way. I liked sadie she knew what she wanted and went for it.
though I’m a bit confused when the author says “no cheating between the mc’s” like there is obviously cheating between them because “john” her husband was cheating on her with a girl and she caught him. and then she went and found bull and didn’t tell him.
and also…. i would love to know where john went?? 🤣

Wow, this book was amazing. I could not put it down.... can definitely make a kitty purr. The bull (being a un orthodox breeder for all intense purposes who is definitely younger the the fmc) and Sadie (whos is a teacher who has not been able to get pregnant from her husband and then finds him sleeping with another women so her would is turned upside down) these two have a deep connection in all aspects of their (fans face) hot hot hot. Most definitely should read. I will read again

This was my first book by author Maya Hall and I have to say she can definitely suck you in her story and make you wanna binge read until you finish. This book follows the life of Sadie a wife who finds out something awful bout her husband after trying so long for a baby, and ends up hearing bout this guy name Bull who can help her with her problem.
She meets Bull and sparks fly around. They have to stick to the agreement and only think bout the business arrangement to get what she wants.
But Bull can he follow his own rules and not fall for Sadie. This book is steamy and a little taboo but definitely a must read. See what happens between Sadie & her husband and Bull.

This book is a fantastic read and i loved it because not only is the FMC older than the MMC but she is going through a situation in her life that has her torn between what her heart desires and what is morally right. It is a very unorthodox situation yet when she realizes that her marriage isn't as solid as she thought, she allows her desire to be a mother and her inner most "spicy" desires win over what society deems as inappropriate. With a man like Bull coming into the picture i would have made the same decision (wink) If you like spice, this is absolutely the book to read. I couldn't put it down. Of course with all romance/spicy books, there are tropes to pay attention to before reading but I cant wait to see what future books Maya releases

Una piacevole lettura se volete passare qualche ora in compagnia di una storia spicy, molto spicy.
Da amante del genere posso dirvi che a descrizioni l'autrice si è data da fare ma calcolando poi la lunghezza dell'opera avrei preferito un maggiore sviluppo dei personaggi, della storia.
Ci sono alcuni dettagli per i quali sono ancora un po' così, incuriosita, ma per il resto... Una piacevole storia se volete buttarvi nello spicy, con un personaggio alpha che sa prendersi cosa vuole.
E un dirty talking... Che ve lo dico a fare.
Ultima postilla?
L'inglese è molto fluido, perciò se anche vi state inoltrando nel mondo in lingua, secondo me potete riuscirci, è una lettura non molto impegnativo dal punto di vista di traduzione se ne avete bisogno

Maya and her husband are struggling with infertility when she is introduced to "the bull," a stud for hire. As things begin to unravel in her marriage, Maya's revenge became my favorite part of the story.
This was unlike anything I've ever read before. While I didn't feel a connection to the characters and found some of the spicy scenes a bit crass, it was still a fun read. If you're looking for a book with lots of spice and minimal plot, this one's for you.

After her life is turned upside down Sadie takes matters into her own hands when trying to have a baby.
This was a quick and steamy read! I liked that it was pretty different from what I usually read, but in a good way. It was fun seeing this big, hard😉 man fall fast for Sadie as she’s discovering a whole new version of herself.

When the main characters talk to each other, they literally say each other’s name in almost every sentence! It took me out of the story and that is what I was focusing on. When speaking to people, who uses their name constantly when talking to them?! I started skimming because if I read the name Sadie or Bull too much more, I was going to scream.

I couldn't put it down. I needed to know what was going to happen next. It was most definitely interesting. A very good read. The FMC was a bit indecisive, but that is understandable with the situation. The chemistry between the MMC and the FMC was great!

Good fast passed spicy book. Lots of spice between the two main characters. I did find a bit of the wording repetitive and the timeline of events seemed fast paced, but was overall a good read!
