Aaaaaaand that’s a wrap , thank you for attending sovieshu and rastha’s hilarious clown show . It was soooo satisfying to see him realize all his mistakes and see how his empire crumbles a little . Screw him , navier’s got herself a TRUE king (and soon to be emperor ) and she’s gonna go back and show em . Especially now that she’s settling in and has got Heinrey . Speaking of , his unabashed little comments killed me , I chocked right alongside them
Good for her! That’s the clap back that was needed. Screw the emperor. You don’t get to destroy her life and then as her to stay by your side while you uplift your mistress. I hope his life and his kingdom crumble in the future.
Yes! That was so good and satisfying! I love Empress/Queen Navier. After all the unfair demands and manipulations of the emperor and his mistress, she remained classy, elegant, resilient, and tough. Not quite the femme fatale but very admirable in her own way. Smart to choose a diplomatic counterattack, not hurting innocent people and still caring for the welfare of the empire. ❤
King Heinrey, on the other hand, is like a happy puppy who can't contain his joy in being married to Navier. Glad he came clean about his intentions. The cheesiness, however, is too much! 🤣 Well, can't blame a guy for flirting with his beautiful wife. ❤
It felt like I've been reading this for a long time the way I've been waiting for this satisfying season ender. Also, if I haven't said this yet, the artwork is OUTSTANDING! Love this story and I will immediately start season 2. 🥰🥰🥰
"I hope your days of standing alone will soon come to an end."
"They will, thanks to you."
(Thank you Heinrey for making our Queen's day less lonely 🥹🥹🥹)
Sovieshu is a perfect example of wanting to have his cake and eat it too. I don't think I'll ever get over his actions and how angry he got when Navier remarried. For a man who is supposed to be the emperor, and as a result, is intelligent and makes wise decisions. However, he looks like a totally jealous fool!! You are FINALLY getting what you want with seemingly the woman you love and an heir on the way. Why in the world are you being petty and refusing to let Navier leave with her new husband?
BIG sigh.
He definitely wins for the most frustrating and dumbest man I've read in manhwa, which is fine by me. He can keep the title for all I care because while my feelings have changed towards Rashta due to keeping up with chapters on WebToons, I'm more and more satisfied with seeing Sovieshu completely lose control of his "perfect" little life. This truly is the beginning and I have no empathy for him and the dumb decisions he makes.
And Rashta.
It's hard to say how I feel. I have A LOT of compassion for her in the latest chapters, but seeing her in the beginning makes me feel differently. She still has a naïveté about her, but she isn't completely innocent due to the decisions she's made. However, the pressure Sovieshu is putting on her when she JUST learned to read made me feel…something. I don't know.
Navier on the other hand, I am SO happy for her! That moment where everyone close to her is celebrating her divorce made me want to cry because they know that this new life with Heinrey will be MUCH happier than the one she currently has. Before that though, my heart ached for her and seeing her cry. Sovieshu did her dirty in every single way and SO thankful Heinrey treats her as the queen she is!
And speaking of him, I loved seeing him shine (and I mean physically LOL) every single time when it came to Navier. No one can deny how much he deeply loves and cares for Naiver and will literally do anything and everything to make her the happiest woman in the world. So thankful he is in Navier's life! (Also Lebetti who has one of the biggest hearts for Naiver!)
Definitely loved this volume and am SO glad we saw the beginning unfold here! It was even more satisfying than it was then!
THAT WAS SO CUTIE. I love that Navier is starting to get a glimpse of happiness and also that her now ex husband is throwing fits and is beside himself even though he divorced her like he is such a baby! Anyways the Prince or now king is so adorable and I love him so much!!
La historia está buena pero a la vez no sé como un emperador puede ser tan bruto. O sea que estupidez hace? Aun a este punto Heinrey y Navier me siguen dando igual. Si me gustó una partesita pero veamos como deparará este lío.
---> THE DIVORCE HAS FINALLY HAPPENED !! what a way to end season 1... i'm literally obsessed and can't wait for 1. sovieshu to realize what a huge mistake he's made 2. navier & heinrey's new journey together !!
p.s. heinrey is such a cutie & cinnamon roll. he and navier are literally beautiful together
Finally reached the introductory scene. It is satisfying seeing how distraught the emperor was, but it still sucks he’s written as completely delusional. Why he thought publicly humiliating and blindsiding Navier would ever work is his favor is entirely confusing to me. Regardless, this is still just an okay series to me. I wish the character work was more complex.
I'm catching up on this comic via Webtoon. Although it took me a moment to care for the plot, the utterly stunning art held my attention until I was totally ensnared.
This is such a great series. Reading the conclusion of season 1 was still just as heart pounding, even if I literally already knew what would happen cause this is where we started out, aha. I’m looking forward to the next arc very much!
FINALLY the Remarried Empress gets remarried! The scene at the very start of the story has come, and now we are in a sort of uncharted territory. The story needed this change, as it was getting a little stale. This volume left me anxious but happy. Navier is in great form, both appreciating Heinrey and being frustrated with him. Seeing Sovieshu jealous and angry is delightful, of course, as he finally sees some of how powerless he really is.
I'm not generally a fan of plots that could be solved with a conversation. And the idea that Sovieshu would not discuss his plan with Navier, even though he's meant to trust her and love her, feels ridiculous. But in any case, the titular remarriage has happened, and I think I'm finished with this series. It's a good ending point, honestly.
