Kiss and Make Love by Luna Day is a fun collection of spicy short stories. Each story featured unique characters, with varying lengths and spice levels. They all had a different trope, and were all incredibly fun! These delightful, swoon-worthy stories were all well-written and kept me hooked from start to finish. I did feel like a couple of the stories felt forced and maybe a little too spicy. But overall I had a great time!!
I couldn't help but fall in love with some of these characters! I will need full versions of some of these stories, especially Brett & Spencer, Layla & James, and Gabriel & June!! 🥵🥵
Also, can we talk about Georgia & Marco! That fantasy at the back of the bakery!! oh my god!! Luna PLEASE I beg for a full version of this one too!! And let's not forget about Quinn & Megan, their story was too short, they were best friends in high school and I'm so curious about their little rendezvous after the Blind Date event!
This collection is perfect as a palate cleanser or for something short to read between books (which is exactly what I'm doing right now!). With so many ARCs on my list, this was ideal for reading in between. Also, I forgot to mention how cool the Table of Contents at the beginning was, it gave an overview of each story's length and steam level.
I had the opportunity to read Luna's debut Three Hearts Hideaway (an amazing why choose—which you should also check out!). I've been searching for more Canadian authors; she has become one of my go-to authors and I can't wait for her next book. She's been teasing the heck out of it on Instagram/the end of this book, fake dating/baking romance; I'm squealing with anticipation! Wondering if it's Georgia & Marco's story 🤞🏼

4.5 stars! One of the better collection of short stories I have read. So. Much. SPICE, it was just a wonderful sensory explosion in each story! I had a blast reading this and getting to know the different characters in these short tales. My favorite was "The Professor," with "The Book Club" in a close second. "The Speed Dates" is the sweetest story in the bunch, just short and to the point and so cute. These stories vary in terms of spice, but most are instantly-blush-worthy. Luna Day, you mad genius!! I loved this!!

Kiss and Make Love is a collection of short and spicy stories. Every story was good, and there was a nice variety of spice level.
I really liked that many of the stories were both parties having secret feelings for each other and ended with unplanned, impulsive interactions. I also loved that this book is inclusive and inludes multiple types of relationships, including same sex and age gap.

Absolutely loved in the beginning how Luna Day gave us lengths and spice ratings for each short story!

Kiss and Make Love was the perfect palette cleanser while I was in between books. Each story was unique and had various amounts of spice ranging from sweet to extra spicy. I truly enjoyed that each story was inclusive and included everything from age gap to MM,MF, and FF. This is great read if you’re looking for a collection short stories with some really great characters and cute stories that are all uniquely different.

Well, this was a deliciously spicy collection of short stories. It's perfect to sandwich between other reads since most of the stories are pretty quick.
My favourite story is "The Speed Date," and I require more Megan and Quinn! What a fantastic meet cute. "The Road Trip" had all the pining and angst I also love.
Can we talk about how freaking stunning this cover is though?? The colours! The illustration! Beautiful!

I'm going to talk about the book as a whole and then each individual story!! I think overall I really enjoyed this. I've never read a spicy anthology before so I really enjoyed this. What I also really loved was how in the table of contents there was a little image to show how long each story was and the heat level! It really set my expectations for the story so I wouldn't be upset if there wasn't anything spicy in the story. I have to be honest though, even if the spice level was 0 or 1 the stories were genuinely really good. I found each one of them very thrilling and cute and I'm so glad I picked up this novel!
1.The Early Morning After: This is probably the shortest story in here but I actually liked it more than I thought. If I was someone who did one-night stands I think this is how I would feel about them too.
2. The Professor: SWEET LORD. Probably my favorite one of the bunch!!! The characters were interesting and so was the plot. I really, really loved Spencer and Brett! I also love a good professor/Student romance WHEN IT'S DONE RIGHT. The guy can't be too old and the girl can't be fresh out of high school (which Spencer wasn't). Even the side characters were really good in this story too.
3. The Book Club: This one was so sweet and I enjoyed how it was from Theo's POV. He was clearly so enamored with her and unable to see that she was flirting back that it made me laugh a little.
4. The Exhibitionist: UMMM WOW! OKAY! DAMN! The heat level for this one SHOULD NOT HAVE BEEN MARKED AS 3 IN MY OPINION. I thought it was at least a 4 possibly even 5 but I think I'm a Layla and that's why I liked this so much lol.
5.The Fantasy: Oh Georgia is soooo me. Not her fantasizing about a man in a crowded coffee shop but girl... I understand. Sometimes the daydreams just overtake you!
6. The Rivals: This one was great! Alex and Cooper were really hot together. This was the only M/M story in here and I really enjoyed it. Always had a thing for sports rivals and this is one of the better stories.
7: The Road Trip: I love a good brothers best friend romance and this one was so good!! Gabriel and June were adorable. I loved their dynamic together and even though the circumstances in which they came together weren't great they made the best out of a bad thing!
8. The Speed Date: THIS STORY WAS SO DAMN CUTE BOTH MEGAN AND QUINN WERE EVERYTHING AND IT DIDN'T EVEN MATTER TO ME THAT THERE WAS 0 SPICE. I LOVED THEM SO MUCH.
9. The Same Train of Thought: This was a sweet story I initially thought both characters (who are unnamed) were women and was a little disappointed that they weren't but I still enjoyed it.
10. The Early Morning Return: This is a call back to the first story (so it's also very very short) but you follow the same two nameless characters who are now married!! It was honestly a very nice ending to this whole anthology and I really loved it.

Is it hot in here or is that just me?? Wow, what a read! I devoured this collection of stories so quickly. I loved all the characters?? And how is it possible that all these stories are from the same author?? They’re written so differently, but ALL of them are so good and unique in their own way. I don’t even want to pick a favourite, they were all amazing and deserve a 5 star rating!
This is my first time reading a collection of stories like this and it was a surprisingly nice change! I was a bit sceptic, but Luna Day made it SO EASY to enjoy.
These romarotica stories are such a great mix of romance, deep connections, pure love, lust, admiration, adoration and steamy scenes out of this world!!
It was so easy to jump into one story after another, and I cannot recommend this book enough! I have now added another auto read / buy to my list of authors!

I got this book purely based on the cover by queen Brittany Keller.
This book is a collection of short-steamy romance stories, varying in length. They are well written, and despite their short length the characters are fleshed out. Day achieved exactly what she was aiming for when writing this collection, and I thought it was a great read in between heavier books. (The story 'The Professor' made me laugh. I need a comedic story about Llewellyn.)
Day's writing is evocative and sensuous, with a strong focus on character emotions. Her writing is both engaging and descriptive, capturing the intensity of the romantic and intimate moments between the characters. It's a compelling and enjoyable read that will keep you hooked until the last page.

ARC Review - This is the first book with multiple short stories that I've read. I was a bit nervous to get into it, unsure if I could make the switch so easily and frequently. Because once I'm into a story, it's hard for me to get out of it.
But this collection does it so wonderfully. Some of the stories are spicier than others. Some are slower burns than others. But if you'e looking for a simple contemporary romance read, this isn't it. Keep a tall glass of water nearby, because things get hot. My favorite story is number 2 -- we see the professor + student trope. But if that's not your thing, there's plenty more for you to dive into and enjoy in Kiss and Make Love.
There are 10 short stories. Of the 10, 4 were 5-star reads for me. 3 were 4-star reads. 2 were 3-stars. Only 1 wasn't my cup of tea.
Additional tropes you'll experience include exhibitionism, library, brother's bff/bff's sister, and enemies (rivals) to lovers. Some stories are shorter than others. You'll find a few with character development. There's a story here for everyone, and each one is worth a read!
Each story starts with a quote to set the mood. Each piece has a theme and focus of its own. There's no confusion where one story ends and the other begins. It's great if you're unable to read a whole book at once, because there are literal separate stories instead of chapters. So I can see this being a fun read for a new parent or general reader trying to get back into reading more frequently.

Kiss and Make Love by Luna Day is a spicy yet sweet collection of short stories. The first and last stories are connected; however, the rest of the stories can be read in any order. I chose to read them in the order that was presented which ended up flowing nicely. Once started, I couldn’t put it down. In the table of contents, it rated the stories by length and spiciness, so the reader has an option to choose a story that will fit their timeframe or desired spice level. I’ve never seen that before in a collection of stories and thought it was a nice touch. I enjoyed reading all of the stories; there wasn’t one that felt like it didn’t fit or dragged. I would definitely recommend this collection for those who enjoy reading romance. The stories were wonderful snippets into different areas of relationships.

This collection of stories is more than series of smutty chapters, but a full experience- beautifully written with the perfect balance of humour & spice.
What I especially loved was the thoughtful chapter list/ spice rating at the beginning—perfect for readers who like to know just how hot things will get before jumping in.
Each story stands out in its own right, but "The Fantasy" was my favourite- I only wish we could see more of Georgia and Marco in the future, I'd easily devour a full length novella about them!
The book's beautiful cover is almost much a work of art as the stories themselves.. it is an absolute visual delight—stunning colors and beautiful character design!

Kiss and make love is a collection of in total 10 novellas and I promise you, you will find something in there that you’ll love.
The book contains stories with no spice, with medium spice and stories with spice so hot you’re in the need of a cold shower afterwards. It contains short stories, and longer stories. It contains LGBTQ+ stories, stories with forbidden love, enemies to lovers, forced proximity and much much more!
Like I’m trying to tell you… something for EVERYONE. The variety is insane and I can’t even list them all.
I enjoyed this book so much, but after I absolutely fell in love with Luna’s first book, Three hearts hideaway, I knew I would love Kiss and make love too.
I have come to learn that Luna has a simple, but very entertaining and addictive writing style. The way she brings characters, written emotions and surroundings to life is meamerizing. The characters in her books have me swooning and I really, really enjoy the fact that I can relate and see myself in so many of her characters.
And the ✨spice✨ 👌🏼🥵
How many new book boyfriends did I get after reading this? The answer is yes.

I enjoyed this book so much, but after I absolutely fell in love with Luna’s first book, Three hearts hideaway, I knew I would love Kiss and make love too.
I have come to learn that Luna has a simple, but very entertaining and addictive writing style. The way she brings characters, written emotions and surroundings to life is meamerizing. The characters in her books have me swooning and I really, really enjoy the fact that I can relate and see myself in so many of her characters.
And the ✨spice✨ 👌🏼🥵
How many new book boyfriends did I get after reading this? The answer is yes.

Okay so maybe I should’ve done a lil more research into this book before applying to get an advanced copy. I’m not mad about it but it wasn’t what I was expecting, obviously I didn’t read descriptions. Anywho.
Had this on my kindle for my euro summer and I must say, this is not something you want to read on planes, trains, and automobiles with strangers next to you. This book was a compilation of short spicy stories, some of them pretty wild. It was like when people would write smutty stories on wattpad but with plot and much better writing (I really hope people know what I’m talking about).
This book was fun and a very easy read. If you’re looking for something spicy, def take a gander with this one. Not gonna lie, some of the short stories I was like ‘no I would totally read this book’. I did indeed like it. 4 / 5 ⭐️

This collection of short stories was so enjoyable!! Luna's writing is addicting! Her novel Three Hearts Hideaway has 2 of my least favorite tropes, and I thoroughly enjoyed that, so I was very excited to dig into this.
I ate this up like a dessert! And boy, was it delicious!
There were a lot of sweet moments, a lot of spicy moments, and a lot of EXTRA spicy moments. Do yourself a favor and get this collection, I'm positive you will enjoy it.

A fun twist on romance!
This compilation of 10 stories is nothing like what I have read before. Containing a mixture of everything from short stories to novelettes, this novel was an exceptional treat.
The table of contents was a fun surprise, giving you insight into the different story lengths & spice levels, allowing you to pick something that suited your reading mood at the time.
Luna has done an amazing job of ensuring this novel included all types of relationships, which was refreshing.
Being a fellow Canadian, I was excited to see the stories set in our backyard & to be able to visualize where the story was taking place. This was a refreshing change, as most novels are set in the United States, even if the author is Canadian.
I would be thrilled to see some of these short stories & novelettes turned into longer novels down the road, as I feel there is so much potential to resurrect the characters.

Luna Day does it again 🥵 the spicy was spicing. 🌶️ I loved the layout of this book, different chapters = different stores. Why have one story when you can have multiples. Holy moly these stores were 🔥🔥 If you’re looking for some spiciness, look no further. Read this book, I can guarantee you won’t be able to put it down and will be begging for more. 😏

"Kiss and Make Love" by Luna Day is an engaging collection of short stories that range from steamy to sweet, each with unique characters that invite readers to explore diverse experiences. This book is unlike anything I've read before.
One feature I particularly appreciated was the key at the beginning, which provided a glimpse into what each story offered (Length and Steam Level). This guide was incredibly helpful in selecting stories that suited my mood and the time I had available, making my reading experience more enjoyable. (in fairness it did make it hard to track my progress on Goodread's tho 🙈)
The way the collection is bookended with beautifully tied-in opening and closing stories adds a lovely touch, giving a sense of completeness and satisfaction.
My Favourite stories from this collection had to be 'The Professor' and 'The Speed Date', both on opposite ends of the spectrum (in length and steam level), but such great stories!
I would highly recommend "Kiss and Make Love" to anyone looking for a delightful, short read, to enjoy between longer books. It's a perfect palette cleanser, offering a refreshing variety of stories.

It was really fast and felt more poetic with hidden meaning but wasn’t for me.
The Professor ⭐️⭐️⭐️
“Good boy” 😳This was very spicy with age gap, and lots of edging. They waited until she wasn’t his student. I just feel like it was missing something.
The Book Club ⭐️⭐️⭐️
This was a friends to lovers short story. I thought it was cute and very spicy! I liked the love of books incorporated into it. In a library is such a fantasy 😈
The Exhibitionist⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Woooh that was a spicy one! That is a fantasy I definitely want to try 🥵

This one was pretty adventurous. I liked it and how it ended a lot.

I had so much fun reading this collection of short stories! The Professor, and The Rivals were easily my faves and will 150% be rereads! Brett & Spencer’s tension & banter had me wishing there was more to their story! Those office scenes.. oh my 🥵🥵🌶️
I loved seeing all the Canadian cities Luna referenced. Being on the East coast, Cooper & Alex staying in PEI was cool to see ☺️

If you’re looking for a fast-paced, insta-spicy read (that has both those things) this summer, this is definitely one you’ll want to have on your list! I appreciate the author providing readers with a guide for story length and spice level, because I’m the type of person who likes to jump around in story collections.
-My favorite stories ended up being “The Book Club” and “The Same Train of Thought”, which are both on the shorter side. “The Book Club” is rather spicy, but was so much fun to read! And “The Same Train of Thought” was very sensual.
-I think this is a fine collection to reach for if you’re in between reads, or crave something on the shorter side. There really is something for everyone, the author did an excellent job catering to different interests.

I would like to describe this book as spicy wholesomeness full of representation! I love that it’s set all over Canada. My favourite stories were “The Rivals”, “The Exhibitionist” & “The Speed Date”. I also really appreciated the first & last stories. Also check out the dedication for a cheeky laugh.
Also this {pictured} candle I picked up at Luna’s table at RITCR and is divine! It makes my room smell so nice, and I love how pink it is.

I enjoyed these short stories! I appreciated the variety of stories and that there were some of all different lengths for you to choose how long of a story you wanted to read! Very unique! Most of these are spicy with a few that weren’t. The writing was funny at times and emotional at others! I was invested!
I’m not a huge novella person for the fact that I love a story to sink into. There were a few stories that felt full but many that I just wanted and needed more of! I would have love to see several of them elaborated on!
My favorites were The Professor and The Rivals!

Im not going to lie, when I signed up for the ARC I thought it was something completely different so when I started reading it, I was so confused. 😂 But once I figured it out, I was into it.
This a a Novella Collection full of short and spicy stories. You can read them in any order except for the first and last but other than that, it is a choose your own adventure. There is a story for almost every popular trope. It is inclusive and has a story everyone would enjoy if not all of them.
The Professor was my favorite simply because I love when he crawls to her instead of the traditional way around. 100% recommend if you love short, eroticas. Also, the cover is to die for.

This was adorable! And sexy. And sweet. And fun. Look, it’s a collection of short stories so you actually get a little bit of everything! You also get a variety of pairings - most of the stories are MF, but there was an FF and an MM in there. The spice level also varied from none to high steam erotica.
My personal favourite was The Rivals - but there were a few standouts in this collection! The Fantasy had some fantastic smut.
There is really something for everyone in this collection! I’m sure everyone can find something that appeals to their tastes here.

This is a collection of short stories and I enjoyed most of them! I liked the inclusivity of people and that the POVs weren’t all from one gender. I liked that the author put the length level and spice level at the beginning. I did jump around, I didn’t read them in order. But I liked that you could just pick which story to read! I haven’t read many short story compilations but I did think the format worked for this! Overall I gave it 3.5 stars (only because I prefer fluid stories) but the writing alone is a 5/5! Thank you to Luna Day and the publisher for a copy of this work in exchange for my honest review!

Nik: This was H-O-T hot. There’s literally something for anyone. My favorite of the bunch were The Professor and The Road Trip. Both different but loved the depth to them in a shorter length. I really liked that the book itself began and ended with stories that are linked. Very low drama and easy reads.
Bee: My favorites were The Professor and The Fantasy. All the stories were so well written and I really appreciated having different options in length/spice wise. This collection has a story for whenever you need to get out of a slump. They felt both heartfelt and carefree in the best ways. It was a love letter for readers. Loved it!
