To start I wouldn't classify this as a dark romance. I understand what they were going for but for me it misses the mark.

I really liked the story, though the time line threw me off a bit, it went from a few days to then being months later, but there was never a transition that gave that impression other than the characters telling us
From the description of Allie I was expecting more from her as well. She felt very one sided until the last 3 chapters.

Though over all it's a good quick read.

didn’t expect this

This was a great read. I only wish the ending had a little more detail , maybe how their life came together afterwards. But other than that . This read was definitely worth it. I loved the characters and the badassary of the women.
