When they live up to their reputation and capture the couple, the pack leader tactlessly tries to renegotiate the fee and pays the ultimate price.

Now Mathew gives Vera and Caleb a choice, pay what he’s owed or become ‘his’…


This is the first out of twelve novellas following Vera and her mates in the Her Vicious Pack serial, a dark contemporary reverse harem/Why Choose romance set in a sweet Omegaverse world about a criminal found family empire with dreams of ‘expanding the family’. This novella may include any of these steamy scenes, ‘I need tissues NOW’ moments, cries of ‘why, oh, why’ and cliffhangers that make you bite your nails (and curse the author).
This serial has MF, MM and group scenes and will later also include FF scenes.

Layla Heart loves sexy romances and has a particular soft spot for broken boys and their damaged girls. When she’s not reading or writing steamy stories, she loves to nap with her two cats, preferably under a fluffy blanket, and play videogames. She has studied literature and creative writing but often finds that the couple of classes she took on coding are much more of a help in this new adventure as an author.

I devoured this novella! It pulls you in immediately and keeps your attention as things are very fast-paced. It's basically the book form of a TV series, which I'm really excited about. I typically wait for series to be complete before diving in because I don't want to have to wait months or years dangling from a cliff, but with a new installment every month, I'm going to get to find out what happens next before forgetting where things left off.

I love omegaverse and this one spins things a little differently than others, which is new and exciting. I love the angst and the danger and the mayhem - it keeps me flipping those pages to find out what happens next! I also adore the scent match dynamic in omegaverse because I am not about the slow-burn. Don't let the short, novella nature of this book make you think there's no spice, either! And I think the romantic elements were appropriately balanced with the plot.

Caleb and Mathew have already pulled so much at my heartstrings. Caleb has been through it. What, exactly? We don't know yet, but he was willing to put it all on the line for Vera, so can we just swoon already? And Mathew has a tragic backstory and is such a tortured soul that my heart was hurting for him right alongside Vera's.

This is going to be a wild ride and I'm excited for the next one!

Wow, what a start to the book! I really enjoyed the start to this and I’m so excited to be able to read the rest of the series when they come out! I’m already obsessed with this book!

Vera is everything I didn’t expect which I absolutely loved so much! She is a force to be reckoned with but still has those soft moments that I love! I will say Caleb right now is my favorite alpha, and I think it’s just the way that he is so protective of her which I love “. While I’m excited to get to know the others in the harem as it builds I have to say I really do love Caleb.

Spice? Yes! This story has spicy and it is turned up. While I do love some good spice lol I have loved the little moments between the characters so far and can’t wait to see how relationships build!

Overall, I absolutely enjoyed and loved this book! I’m so stoked for the next one and to watch the pack build over time! If your looking for a dark omegaverse why choose then this is for you! Highly recommend!

The book starts off with Vera and Caleb who were kidnapped, so right away we’re thrown in an intense scene. They’re then met with a mercenary who collected them to return Vera to her horrible ex fiancé.

Vera is most definitely traumatized by her family and fiancé, she’s her own type of deadly, and would do anything to make sure Caleb stays by her side. Caleb is Vera’s alpha who rescued her from a horrible fiancé, and is very protective of her. He’s a mechanic and that has helped them stay afloat as they go on the run. Matthew is a very dangerous man known as the cleaner. He’s immediately attracted to both of them and quickly looses himself within them. I definitely enjoyed his crazy.

Super excited to read more! Hopefully it all comes out soon.

I wanted to like this one so much! But while the premise and the smut is hot, the lack of character descriptions and snippets of daily life made for a lackluster reading experience.
After reading two books in this series, I still don't even know what Vera and Caleb look like!
Vera and Matthew's personalities gave me whiplash. And much of their personality and traits are told not shown. Vera goes from threatening with a knife to being seductive and open in a heartbeat and vice versa and Matthew goes from being a supposedly crime boss to a vulnerable soul and back again. No transition, no actual development, just all over the place.
I still gives this 3 stars because it IS a fun read and I appreciate that the author delivered when she promised no bullying and consent.

Stolen Omega by Layla Heart is the first in the Her Vicious Pack Series. This is a dark RH omegaverse story. This starts off right away with Vera and Caleb being kidnapped. They are brought to Matthew, The Cleaner, who Vera's ex paid to bring Vera back to him. Turns out - it didn't work out to well for the awful ex. Short story. Cliff hanger at the end. Looking forward to see where this will be going!

I am in desperate need of more!

I couldn't get enough of this book and was so stunned when I got to the end. I basically read this book in a handful of hours and had such a reading-headache after. I couldn't get over that ending and these characters. I absolutely love Vera, Caleb, and Mathew (ok Matthew especially) and I cant wait to see even more people get tossed into this pack.

Overall I enjoyed this book. The characters were interesting and had some substance to them. Of course as is common in omegaverse stories we tend to see some fairly outlandish plots and this was no exception. It was a short and easy read with decent spice to it.

New series with a tad bit of a cliffy. Alpha and Omega dynamics. Builds a pack in future books, MMF, AOO, knots, and heats oh my. Seems like it's going to get interesting from that ending. Matthew is an anti hero, really to early to tell on Vera and Caleb. Looking forward to the next book! I love when it's instant attraction in Alpha and Omega pairings.

This starts of with a bang as an omega and her alpha Caleb are kidnapped. Vera is traumatized for sure by her family and fiancé. Caleb had rescued her from a terrible fate but now is faced with a new reality as there's another man Matthew and he's dangerous and a brand of crazy for sure. Loved reading it and it is darker themed for sure so comes with warnings. I am excited about the next one.

Instalust

This read like the cliff notes of an actual story, written by a very troubled teenage boy. The characters read decades younger than they were supposed to be. There was no effort given to character development... their personalities changed so quickly it felt like the author had changed their mind midway through a scene.

This story SUCKED me in right away! You quickly learn that Vera and Caleb had been running from someone for several years, only to be found...by another scent match! In a short amount of time you learn some key things about the three of them and by the end of the story you definitely want to see where the next book goes.

Stolen Omega bk 1 was a quick and great read . The main characters really drew me into the story plots. I was definitely interested in finding out the the rest of this story end. Can’t wait to read bk 2. I love omegaverse books

I love the way Vera thinks in this book. 😏
And I love the way Caleb is with Vera.
Great world building could see everything through 3sides of this book.
With Mathew I still have my doubts. Not sure if I like him or not.
