Another fair-to-middling Spider-anthology book. For every thing I liked there was something else that had my eyes rolling so hard I could almost hear them.

2.65 stars, rounded up.

Really good set of stories! I usually don't like these groups of singles about various different stories. I really liked this one because they were really fun stories but they were also building towards a bigger story. My favorite was the spiderman T-Rex. I did think it was pretty insane that weapon 8 beats wolverine and really quickly too. It feels like it should have been a bigger moment but it doesn't take away from the story being good.

i love the different spiders so much!!! im also super glad that peter, weapon 8, was rescued from his abusive lab and introduced to the spider society. though the way the spider-verse movie went,,, "oh i wouldn't say freed, more like, under new management" - titan, megamind.

I know I said I didn't want any more Edge Of Spider-Verse series for at least a year, but...this one's really good so I'll let it off.

You know the deal by now - so many Spider-Man variants, so little time. There's also a through-line story about Miguel O'Hara that leads into the next big Spider-Verse series, Spider-Society, but that's only a few pages in each issue.

Standouts here include Weapon VIII, a Peter Parker trained as a mutant assassin, the rhyming adventure of Spooky-Man which is creepy as hell, and a Web Weaver tale, because the world needs more Web-Weaver.

Honestly, the only thing that would have improved this book would have been another Princess Spinstress story, but that's my own personal bias.

plein de petite histoire de Spider d'autres univers, mais ça ne mène pas forcément à grand chose pour le moment, le tome précédent était déjà dans ce cas là
c'est cool de découvrir d'autres Spiders quand même

Super loose anthology that makes the reader think it has a connective thread at the start…but really it’s too thin of a thread.

The Weapon VIII story was really interesting and a cool take on Spider-Man. The rest of the stories were unfortunately very mediocre.

Blah, blah, blah...
(I thought these were done, but NOOOOOOO..got to gear up for another Spider-verse (or Spider-Society) story)

This time around? Spider-Man 2099 is tasked by Madame Web with... the usual. Get a team together before the 'big bad Spiders event' comes and wrecks shop in the multiverse. That means we get a bunch of new stories and a few new Spiders to read about. We also get an assistant editor 'thank you' page in each issue that tells the readers more about the creative teams behind each new story.

The stories include...
- Weapon VIII (Peter Parker as a Weapon Plus soldier)
- Spider-Byte (...protector of the Internet and coder extraordinaire)
- Spooky-Man (dark, occult leaning story mixed with a Nightmare Before Christmas vibe)
- Cyborg Spider-Man (looks like the old Erik Larsen story..but this world has cybernetic villains too)
- Star-Spider (on Space Station Bronx, 'Percy' Parker uses S.P.I.D.E.R.S. to keep the station safe)
- Web-Weaver (Cooper Coen, glam fashionista, saves BF Peter Parker while looking GOOD)
- Spider-Woman (straight out of 'Across The Spider-Verse movie, less backstory than you hope)
- Spider-Rex (T-Rex Spider thing chased by a tail-less villain bent on making Pter pay)

Arana sets things up for the upcoming Spider-Society book that'll feature even MORE spider based characters they'll throw at you to keep you interested as the movie comes out at some point.
