ภาคนี้เป็นภาคก่อนหน้าของเล่มหลัก แต่ธีมจะค่อนข้างเป็นผู้ใหญ่กว่าเล็กน้อย โดยรวมแก่นเรื่องจะคล้ายเล่มหลัก มีความเกี่ยวข้องกันบ้างแต่อ่านแยกกันได้ เล่มนี้จะค่อนข้างโฟกัสไปกับการช่วยเหลือเพื่อนมนุษย์ใกล้ตัวมากกว่าการไปกอบกู้โลกเป็นสเกลใหญ่ ๆ เหมือนเล่มหลัก ตัวเอกค่อนข้างพยายามที่จะทำตัวเป็นคนไม่ดี แต่สุดท้ายการกระทำที่ดูร้าย ๆ ก็มีเหตุผลที่เข้าใจได้ สมาชิกในกลุ่มตัวเอกก็ไม่ได้สมบูรณ์แบบ ทุกคนมีปมในใจและไม่ได้ยินดีจะเผชิญหน้ากับปมของตัวเองอย่างกล้าหาญ ทุกคนในกลุ่มตัวเอกไม่ได้มีพรสวรรค์ระดับอัจฉริยะ แต่เคยเป็นหรือมีพรแสวงที่ยังไงก็สู้ความสามารถของตัวเอกเล่มหลักไม่ได้ อ่านไปก็เอาใจช่วยไป ฮีลใจในหลาย ๆ มุมดีค่ะ

สนุกมากๆครับผูกเรื่องดี
เล่ม1 จบในตัวแล้ว อ่านเล่มนี้แล้วรู้สึกทำให้เนื้อเรื่องสมบูรณ์ยิ่งขึ้น และได้รู้อะไรที่เราไม่รู้เพิ่มเติมจากเล่มแรกอีก ดีมากๆ
อยากให้มีเล่มต่ออีกจัง

I liked this more than Vol 1, probably 3.5, but I don't feel like rounding it up to 4 (which is where my "enjoyed and will rec" books start from).

The focus on the difficulties of the Prophet's work and the revelations about Leonard and his motivations were great. The fact that we know throughout that Leonard isn't and won't be the Hero tinted the events in a way I enjoyed.

I really liked the conversation between Leonard and Zack, where Leonard reveals himself to be a fraud who was only imitating Zack's father without knowing that Zack felt the same thing about himself and Ares. It was a neat character moment.

Not much else to say, while a nice read, there wasn't much for me to hold onto and I don't see myself rereading this.

เนื้อเรื่องเรียบง่าย ไม่มีอะไรซับซ้อนแบบภาคหลัก เป็นเนื้อเรื่องเสริมของตัวละครที่ไม่ได้มีบทบาทในภาคหลัก ไม่จำเป็นต้องอ่านก็ได้ คุณภาพของการพิสูจน์อักษรค่อนข้างมีปัญหา มีพิมพ์ผิด พิมพ์ตกค่อนข้างเยอะกว่าปกติตามมาตรฐานของสำนักพิมพ์

It’s a great compliment to the first volume! It’s nice to see a new perspective from older characters in the storyline.
