This is the fourth delightful Rabbit and Hedgehog fable on friendship, this time exploring disagreement and reconciliation, illustrated by the Kate Greenaway Medal winner Chris Riddell. Friends can often remember events entirely differently, whether it be an acorn rolling competition or crossing a stream ("You fell in!" says Hedgehog. "I was picking up a water snail," says Rabbit. "I dropped it when you grabbed me.")

This game sounds a bit like gaslighting, but I guess that is not the author's intention. The problem is that the bunny is supposed to be forgetful but the hedgehog keeps interpreting his actions in a negative manner and it starts to get weird. It would have been better if both had the chance to reinterpret the other one's actions so we could think about how perspective matters when looking at things... but instead we get a bit of bullying.
