Ethan Sharpe is a man without a plan. Following the tragic loss of his father shortly after high school, Ethan did the impossible and turned his life around, only to find that he doesn’t know who he is anymore. Overcoming an identity crisis is no small feat, and it’s only after receiving an undeserved second chance that the pieces of his life start falling into place.

Aaron Beckett’s newfound confidence quickly became his downfall when he flew too close to the sun and experienced heartbreak for the very first time. Now anxious and unsure of how to navigate the world, Aaron is forced to face his past and learn how to heal and move on. While the path laid before him wouldn’t have been his first choice, it turns out to be exactly what he needs to mend his broken heart.

Tanner Cartwright’s debut novel, Crazy for You, is a heartwarming dual-POV M/M romance between two lost souls who are brought together by circumstance but stay together by choice. (Contains mature themes.)

Just a regular person who loves to write.

I don't consider myself a particularly skilled novelist, but I can't deny how incredible it is to make something from nothing. To turn words into sentences and sentences into pages which, when put together, create something beautiful that I am truly proud of.

My books are a reflection of me. They are a piece of my heart that I have chosen to share with the world, knowing that not everyone will like what they see.

To those who have read my work, thank you. My heart soars every time I see a new rating or review because it means someone else chose to spend their time in the world I created with the characters I have grown to love, and that means the world to me.

Friends,

I’m beyond thrilled to have finally achieved my lifelong dream of writing and publishing a novel. It’s so surreal to see my work available to the public after having it live exclusively in my brain for so long.

When I started this process, I had no idea what I was doing, and it took a lot of trial and error to get it right. But I eventually found a rhythm and ended up writing, editing, and publishing Crazy for You 100% on my own.

This book is (and will always be) a huge part of my life. I’ve spent so much time with these characters that they’ve become my friends, and their story is one I will always feel deeply connected to.

If you’re reading this, you already have my thanks just for being here. But if you choose to purchase and read my book, I will probably cry tears of genuine joy.

Thank you from the bottom of my heart,

TC

P.S. The sequel is already in the works, and I can’t wait to share it with you!

I'm copy and pasting this on both books in the series bc I'm lazy and don't want to write two reviews. I bought both because I had expiring digital credits on Prime and I read both because I was on break and very bored.

So the first book in the series is kind of a snooze fest. I mean it's fine overall, but it's pretty long. The same story probably could have been told in 100 less pages, but what do I know? It's also very vanilla and predictable, but sometimes we need that? Maybe that's just me. Anyway, it makes a decent palate cleanser if you're looking for a sweet MLM story with minimal spice.

The second one took it up a notch. Similar to the first but more character development and more ANGST. I actually felt Ethan's pain this time because Aaron was being stupid. Like BRO, HE LOVES YOU LET HIM LOVE YOU. But I will say the payoff was *chef's kiss.* I smiled like a fool the whole time.

Yes I'm giving both books 5 stars. Not because they're the best books I've ever read because they're not. But I had a good time and I'm feeling generous. Also, it's so cute that this is someone debut and I'm proud of them.

⭐️⭐️⭐️ (3/5) – Crazy for You by Tanner Cartwright

Boooooy … 519 pages and it really felt that long. What we get here is a love story between a bully and his target. And honestly, the first 100 pages were just hate on repeat — how much Aaron hates Ethan, how terrible everything is, and so on. It dragged, and it was hard to push through.

Maybe that’s because I’ve been on the receiving end of bullying myself, but at some point I just couldn’t read the same dynamic anymore without feeling drained.

And the love story? For me, it didn’t justify the page count. This book did not need to be 500+ pages — the story could’ve been told in far fewer without losing anything.

Not the worst book, but not really for me either. Too long, too repetitive, and too heavy in all the wrong ways.

I understood the real meaning of BINGING with it. Addictive and also heartwarming. And the main characters... I have many thoughts more I had before them, only said
