Second Chance (n.): an opportunity to try something again after failing once
What do you do when your husband has embarrassed and humiliated you time and again? Do you continue to fight for a loveless marriage, or do you walk away and start fresh? For Kinsley King, that decision does not come easily as she struggles with what’s best and next for her. Will a chance encounter with a lost love be the new beginning she needs?
Dino DeCosta, a chart-topping superstar singer who is weary of the glitter and chaos of the music industry, yearns for something more meaningful in his life. When he learns of Kinsley’s marital issues, he sees it as a sign to finally get the one who got away. And he’s determined not to let her go without a fight this time.
As Kinsley struggles to move on from the drama of her marriage, are old love and memories of the past enough to give love a second chance?
If you haven't read a novel by Iesha Bree, you can expect to read about bold independent women and Smooth, Charming Men ready to mend broken hearts. Each novel penned to heal and show each woman they're worthy of love.

This was an interesting culmination to the dynasty. Quite a few surprises I was expecting.. Jayceon, Andrew!! For kinsley to have gone through what she did and so publicly, it was cool her story with Dino played out somewhat easy. Second chance romance minus the messy breakup hoopla, soft second chance I guess lol this was a good series overall I can see so much growth in Iesha’s writing and I love it!
This was the perfect end to the king dynasty series. I waited for Kinsley to have her moment and boy was at a moment. I knew it was gonna be very hard for her to open back app and love again and finding out that it was gonna be her first love who really brought her out of Her heart from her first marriage was just beautiful to see. Dino and all of his glory I freakin love that man. The encouragement and the consistency and the love that he showed Kinsley was so beautiful. He literally spoke healing into her life and I live for that. Andrew was an a****** and honestly I don't even feel bad for what happened to him and for some reason in my mind just bear with me I feel like true had something to do with that I don't care what anybody says. I think Kinsley is like a lot of women out there when they get hurt in relationships they're veryWithdrawn from relationship situations, They see the glass as half empty And have a hard time trusting. With everything that she was put through she ended up with the right one to help her find herself and a yield from all of the Hurt. Everybody needs somebody like Dino he is a man after my own heart, And the fact that he wouldn't let his mom be the one to stop his happiness again was beautiful. Not ask for Dino's mom I'm not gonna I want it to like throat chopper because you are the reason they didn't end up together, By default I blame you for Kinsley ending up with Andrew's evil a**, Cause had you not interfered they probably would have had the best marriage and relationship because they were so in love too. Sanjolie Dino's mom was the reason kindly settled for Andrew cause she was searching for someone that could hold the candle to dino and she thought she found that but she found a snake in a garden. I'm happy that they talked to al but I'm sorry I definitely wouldn't have forgiven her and I definitely shouldn't have to apologize but being the bigger person and seeing it from the mom's perspective I guess. All in all I really enjoyed this book I looked forward to Kinsley story I literally cried at the marriage at the end. I am gonna miss this family so much but I'm gonna continue to read the book's eyes Shabri puts out because she literally never misses. Now waiting for the paper bags to be released.😊
I loved the ending of the series with Kinsley's book. Kingsley has been suffering throughout the series because of her marriage to Andrew. I'm glad that she finally found the strength within herself to get rid of that deadweight. It didn't turn out the way he thought it would. I literally was cracking up at his gold-digger self. Kingsley reuniting with Dino was the best thing that could ever happen to her. He was exactly who she needed to rebuild her trust in men and in love through his intentions and speaking to her soul. I couldn't stand Dino's mother. I didn't feel sorry for her because she was a grown woman who should have known how to handle her emotions better. I also didn't feel sorry for Andrew when karma or someone else came calling for him. I loved that the author continued to include all of the family love and support in the book like she did previously as well as the updates. I'm hoping Calle will get her own book so we can finally find out her secrets. This was a great ending to a great series!!!
Cudo’s to Dino👏🏽👏🏾👏🏿‼️ I absolutely unequivocally adore mocha (tall, muscular with a salt/pepper beard/five o’clock shadow ..oops! I digressed briefly🤭😉🤷🏾♀️) men that are stanch supports, advocates & champions for that women in their life …essentially when Kingsley is his primary object of desire was/is/will always be her heart & her emotional stability 😍😚‼️Cool‼️Thereafter, “Kings Release (King Dynasty Series) - Book 5” was a good read (hyper sexual, but oh well. …definitely, security in the next generation of Kings🤭‼️). I appreciated watching the siblings (and spouses) maturity in everyone’s contribution to establish, protect, support and sustain their family’s name, image for an everlasting legacy of entrepreneurial success & wealth in the luxury wellness management industry. …Just glad to see all of The Kings’ weathered the (personal & collective) storms of life 🥰😆‼️
I’ve been waiting for Kinsley’s story since book 1 in this series and I’m glad we finally got it. Kinsley deserved a happily ever after putting up with and being embarrassed repeatedly by her so called husband and she was finally able to get that once she had enough of his bs and divorced him. I loved her with Dino and that he applied pressure in getting her to agree to be with him again. I loved how he encouraged her and affirmed her while showing she could give him her hurts and fears to shoulder because she was no longer alone. I also love how the King family always shows up and out for each other with their support and unconditional love. It was also good to get more on the elusive Jayceon in this story. Now even though this series is over, I’m looking forward to what will come next with this author.
We are finally at Kinsley’s story, and what a story it was! We know she has been going through it since book 1, but babbbby, if “getting your lick back” was a character, it would be her 🤣🙌🏾 Dino! Dino! My husbae Dino!!!! This man was perfect. I rarely say this, but there wasn’t a move this man made that I wasn’t clapping for 😩. Kinsley needed him and everything he embodied. Kinsley was a strong female, but taking hit after hit had my girl faltering, and I loved that he helped her get back right. I’m not always here for a second chance romance, but this one was done right and needed to happen. Iesha Bree did her thing when ending this series. This book gave us a great love story, while also tying up loose ends from earlier books. I hate to see the Kings end, but the journey was a great one.
Okay, Kinsley was well worth the wait! Before y’all get on my girl, you have to realize she went through YEARS or trauma with her marriage to Andrew. She bossed up with that divorce tho! (Thank you Tru! 😉) Dino was patient, loving, determined & he stood on business as well. We should appreciate how Kin decided to take the proper time to heal. She didn’t run him off but she was firm in needing to process things. Dino’s mom pissed me OFF but I stopped being mad eventually! I laughed, cried, rejoiced, almost threw my phone but I refused to put it down! Also the playlist set the right vibes!!! Great series! (Oh! I’m glad we got Jay in this book!)
By book 5, of course I’m committed to the story and the family, but Dino is coming in hot! Bringing his own personality forward. I liked that he knew what he wanted from the start and made moves to get it. No exceptions! 😂
I felt like I knew him and his art early on in the book and that made for much better reading. I could picture each scene in my head like a movie.
The family bickering is always a joy to read. I love how tamed Eva has Darien😂😂
I hate to see the end of the King Family. Kinsley was dogged and done wrong by her ex husband. It was so sad seeing what was happening to her. I was so happy when she divorced Andrew. Dino was her true love. I love how they reconnected with each other. This is the man she was supposed to be with. Dino mother was wrong for what she did. Dino made sure to show Kinsley what real love looks like. I am so happy she got her true happiness with Dino. Very good book.
Andrew was a pain in the butt, Kin let Dino's mom talk her into breaking up with him and he didn't have a clue but after all the abuse she took from Andrew and the disrespect she knew it was time to say enough. They did know that they would see each other in Vegas but that's what happened and the love was still strong between them Dino had to work for it and he didn't stop cause she belonged to him. Great Book
What a beautiful ending. I absolutely loved Kinsley’s perseverance and strength. I loved Dino for standing his ground. One thing this family gonna do is support each other. I have absolutely loved every book in this series and the fact that it was written as an ode to her real family was even better. I’m so glad I gave this series a chance. It showed me ways to improve my own family dynamics.
I was waiting on Kinsley's story and it did not fail me. In each prior book, we learned about bits and pieces of Kinsley. It always intrigued me that Andrew never showed to any family functions but showed his entire butt in this book. We as women, sometimes want so much for others even if it hurts us. But reconnecting with her first love slowly changed her mind regarding relationships.
Man this series was everything and I hate that it has come to an end.
I didn’t read this in order at first I started with King’s Catch, but my suggestion is to read it in order they play off each other. Kingsley was a good ending, she was catching heck all through the series and her family had been right there for her. That ex was crap and received exactly what he deserved. That MIL wasn’t any better but I guess we can extend her just a bit of grace. Good series.
This was cute, I liked Dino and Kinsley. And having read majority of the series, I was so happy Kinsley finally got her HEA. There were parts of the story that fell flat, for example the unnecessary friction between Kin and his mom. Because it was unnecessary, the resolution between them was even flatter.
It maybe could’ve been a bit shorter, because the repetitive statements were a bit annoying. But as I said, I thought the story overall was cute.
Excellent read, I loved the characters and storyline. Kinsley’s marriage to Andrew was filled with hurt and heartbreak. With her divorce final, she unexpectedly reconnects with her high sweetheart Dino, after her sister’s Vegas wedding. This is Kinsley’s road to healing and her Dino’s journey to forever love and happiness. I truly enjoyed the King Dynasty series.
The story of Kinsley & Dino gave me life!!! That man loves him some Kinsley and didn’t care who knew. This story had the perfect amount of love, drama, and reminiscing as they spun the block twice. I loved learning about Jayceon too and finally getting his backstory. This is a must read, but you need to read the rest of the series first. Can’t wait to read about the cousins!!
Sometimes We Have To Kiss AFew Frogs Before We Kiss A Prince
Iesha Bree, what a great series. I love the King family. I really love how they rock together, but still give everyone their space. I was so glad Kinsley finally had some peace. Brothers have a way of protecting us when we allow them to have the opportunity. Dino is so cool. He was intentional in his moves. It was good to see Jayson at peace. This was a great read🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗
Kinsley’s book was a perfect finish to this series! I loved her growth throughout the entire series but especially in this book. I’m glad Dino’s mama got her life together cause ma’am go sit down somewhere.
Dino, Dino, Dino! I love that man 🥹 he wasn’t playing with her! He knew what he wanted and went after it.
Ohhhhhhh how I loved this series so much! But babbbyyyy Kinsley’s story was a true story of the second time around! Andrew being unalived was just precious…. Lol I know… but idc idc… dis girl was dragged through the mud. But Dino came picked her, cleaned her off, and loved on her right! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
5⭐️ I just love everything by this author. Her stories just make you believe is real love. The characters always have unique personalities. They always appear to be real and experience real life issues. Kinsley although throughout the other books, you didn’t get much of her story, but I’m glad her story was the last. I’m sad that this series is over. I can’t wait to meet e by Iesha Bree.
This series surprised me. Every book in the series just kept getting better. I was waiting on Kinsley's story since book 1 and it didn't disappoint. She deserved better and I am happy she got what she deserved without being damaged beyond repair. I read the entire series in a week. Definitely pick this one up!
Dino saw his love and dint let up!!! Yasss! Kinsley deserved a man that loved her for real. I really like the King family! Mama King was so strong. Loved the fact that Dino stood his ground.
Finally Kin got her story!! I liked Kin and Dino as a couple. While she was struggling to overcome her past, Dino showed up and showed out!!!! He was about her and no one was coming between them
It was a great series and I enjoyed every single story and the uniqueness brought to each character. Thank Iesha Bree for showing the struggles and triumph of Black Love.
This was such a wonderful story.I cried, got mad, laughed and was completely involved in this love story. Dino loved Kinsley to the moon and back. Thanks for a wonderful series.
I enjoyed watching Kinsley find herself after all the things she went through. Dino knew exactly how to love her properly. This is how you end a series. I enjoyed the entire King Family and all their shenanigans.
So happy Kinsley was able to find love like the rest of her siblings. She deserves it after all the pain and turmoil Andrew had put her through. I’m wondering if Calle will have a story next to reveal the father of her child.
Loved the ending to the really good King Dynasty Series. This series was so good with each sibling finding love. I am glad this second chance ended the way it did... with family & love. Definitely recommending the full series. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
