October 25, 2024Чесно, треба бути мазохістом, щоб читати цю вебку. Але як відлипнути від неї та повернути своє серце не знаю. Це суцільний захват. І біль.
Відносини Скайлара й Цирруса - болісно щемливі та суперечливі. Вони є спасінням один для одного, але водночас найбільшою загрозою, яка може зламати те, що й так вже давно крихке.
А ще це майстерно виконаний троп від ненависті до кохання (якого я взагалі не фанатка), з ідеально прописаними характерами та мотивацією героїв. Нема скла заради скла. Герої проживають свої травми через повсякденність, а ти, знаючи їх минуле, хочеш просто обійняти та оберігати їх, бо вони, насправді, неймовірно прекрасні булочки.
Третій сезон буде останнім, і схоже, що авторка підводить до найболючішого пікового моменту, де буде "пропало всьо". Враховуючи, як довго хлопці йшли до цих ніжних (і поки що крихких) стосунків, я дуже сподіваюся, що Циррус зі Скайларом зможуть подолати це разом 😭💔
А ще це той випадок, коли історія настільки чарівна, що ти готова придбати видання італійською, просто щоб мати біля себе цей скарб. Інших офіційних перекладів поки немає :(

No recuerdo haber visto tanto trauma y psicopatología junta en un manga, fue muchas veces frustrante de leer por tanto sufrimiento, en cada capítulo nuevo trauma desbloqueado en los personajes principales, pero algo hizo muy bien, algo de muy real presenta que te llega a la patata, y terminé leyendo toda la serie.

I think I’m just confused as to what and why. I’m sure I’ll get the explanation I so crave, but I don’t know how I’m supposed to ever enjoy these characters if they ever do become a couple. They are very unlikeable.

Oooookay, damn. Das war jetzt doch besser, als ich dachte 😱 ich war mir nach Band 1 noch unsicher, ob's mich halten kann.. aber das war tatsächlich mega fesselnd, haha. Cirrus ist zwar ein mieser Typ, aber da steckt eindeutig mehr dahinter, als man sieht. Und Skylar hat definitiv noch viel größere Probleme, als es bisher angedeutet wird.. allgemein gab's hier schon ziemlich krasse Szenen, die aber so ne mega gute Atmosphäre versprühen durch das super Artwork. Ich war gefühlt auch in einem Wimpernschlag durch mit den Band und dann plötzlich so “hä, schon vorbei!? 😱”. Ja.. also.. ich brauch doch bitte Band 3? 😅😂

OPINIÓN PERSONAL- cap 25-50
La verdad es que conocer el pasado de Skylar me ayudó muchísimo más a comprenderlo y a empatizar en algunos aspectos con él. No para justificarlo en acciones que realmente están mal, pero sí para entender mejor algunos de sus comportamientos y actitudes que se derivan del trauma que pasó.
Creo que, en este sentido, también abarcamos el tema de los personajes grises. ¿En qué punto un personaje puede considerarse un buen personaje gris? A mi parecer, un buen personaje gris es aquel que tiene un trasfondo y una razón para comportarse como lo hace. Puede tener mala actitud o haber realizado acciones consideradas incorrectas, éticamente hablando, sin que esto signifique justificar o romantizar sus malas decisiones. Una de las cosas que me gustaron al explorar su pasado y trauma es que, además de mostrarnos todo lo malo que sufrió —el acoso y el abuso que le hicieron pasar—, también nos mostraron todo lo malo que él hizo y ocasionó. Así nos dejan claro que, aunque lo que le hicieron estuvo mal, lo que él hizo también lo estuvo. Una cosa no justifica la otra; ambas están completamente mal.
Entonces, llegando a este punto, nos preguntamos: ¿Skylar es un buen personaje gris? Realmente, esto no lo sabemos aún, ya que sigue desarrollándose, pero creo que va por buen camino. Solo espero un arco de redención bien construido. Y aunque considero que Skylar sí es un personaje gris, seguimos con la duda e interrogante de si será un buen personaje gris o uno malo. Supongo que eso se definirá en los próximos volúmenes de la historia.
La verdad es que hay una escena de Skylar en específico (capítulo 50) que me hizo empatizar muchísimo más con él. En esta escena se refleja el temor que tiene Skylar de quedarse solo de nuevo y de que sus “amigos” se alejen de él, lo que nos muestra algunas de sus inseguridades, traumas y pensamientos. De alguna manera, se percibe que se siente culpable o se autoculpa, pensando que tal vez él es el problema, aunque no haya hecho nada. Debo admitir que esto me hizo empatizar aún más con él, aunque obviamente sin justificar todo lo malo que ha hecho.
Por otro lado, trato de empatizar con Cirrus y entenderlo, ya que, nos guste o no, vive en un ambiente tóxico, rodeado de personas tóxicas, mentalmente inestables, manipuladoras y violentas. Esto se evidencia cuando su madrastra utiliza el punto débil de Cirrus, su perro Candy, insinuando que tal vez le hizo daño. Además, su padre lo agrede físicamente. Aunque todo esto está claramente mal en todos los sentidos, Cirrus también realiza acciones similares que están completamente mal. Por ejemplo, manipula constantemente a Skylar para guardar su secreto, lo que hace que empatizar con él sea mucho más complicado. Siento que, en este caso, también se aborda el tema de si es un buen personaje gris. Y la verdad, ni siquiera yo sé si realmente lo es. Todo dependerá de cómo se desarrolle en los siguientes volúmenes. Sin embargo, me da esperanza el hecho de que haya entregado el pendrive a Skylar, ¿tal vez tomando la decisión de ya no seguir extorsionándolo ni manipulándolo? Espero que así sea, pero ya veremos en el siguiente volumen.
Eso sí, tengo un temor… Ja, ja, ja, ¡tengo miedo! ¿Por qué presiento que Cirrus se obsesionará con Skylar? ¿Y que desarrollará un sentimiento obsesivo en el que solo lo querrá para él?
Por último, debo decir algo: ¡QUÉ FATAL ME CAE LA MADRASTRA DE CIRRUS! ¡Qué manipuladora es! Además, se victimiza constantemente.

Let’s get one thing clear: Cirrus and Skylar are BOTH brats. I have never read something and said “what a BRAT” so often, and I said it for both of them.
Skylar is a brat because the way he treated Chan-il when they first met was so unnecessary. He was so rude and mean to him! Chan-il (from what we’ve seen) is a genuinely sweet and chill dude. He’s friendly and personable. Skylar truly was doing too much when he was treating Chan-il like a poser or fake. He eventually sees reason and understands that Chan-il is just a nice guy, but it shouldn’t have taken that much work on Chan-il’s part 💀
Cirrus is a brat because WHAT DO YOU MEAN you’re going to kiss a BOY with NO consent in front of GOD and the WORLD just to get back at your STEPMOM? Hello?!?!?! I’m calling the police! He’s deranged, and I love him 😂
Cirrus truly has no self awareness. He’s such a brat that he’s genuinely starting to feel jealous of Chan-il and doesn’t get why Skylar is into him because he’s “simple,” and I’m just here like 🧍🏻♀️ My brother in Christ, Chan-il is a sweet and normal kid. YOU are insane. You’re not the same. No, Skylar isn’t happy you kissed him against his will. Yes, Skylar would’ve reacted very differently if Chan-il had kissed him… BECAUSE HE LIKES HIM, YOU DUMBASS! To add to his stupidity, he then has the audacity to wonder why Skylar won’t chill out and be nice to him when he puts on his nice guy act. BRO. You already revealed yourself to be insane. No, Skylar’s not gonna buy your little act. If you had been NORMAL for even ONE SECOND, maybe Skylar wouldn’t have punched you, shouted at you, and tried his damndest to ignore you.
Cirrus needs to buy a MIRROR and see if that helps him with some introspection. He truly has not one single neurona in that big head of his 🤦��♀️

Cirrus and his insanity aside, the real question now is what the hell happened to Skylar in junior high? What medicine is he supposed to be taking but he isn’t? How are these two things connected? A woman needs answers!
I’m definitely glad I gave this another chance because I’m absolutely invested now. I want to know what Skylar is hiding, and I want to see where he and Cirrus’s fucked up relationship goes next 😂

We explore Cirrus' past, involving how his father changed after his mother died and how he abused him because he hated him. He abounded his own child when he needed him most.And his teacher SA him, forcing him to become a different person in the end.
His actions is clearly bad, but I see why he can't trust anyone with his issues. But Skylar made him feel as if he didn't care about his own life and never asked him about it. He isolated Skylar from everyone and forced himself to be totally by himself. He feels like Skylar and him have bonded because they have different personalities underneath.
So he is worried of losing the only thing he shares with Skylar, he needs him to stay this way. Oh my god, I kin Cirrus so much.
The trauma bound between them and the slow burn
is both captivating and heartbreaking, and I am intrigued about stories of this kindr.

Volume 2. Cirrus starts orchestrating plans to make Skylar more isolated by setting Chanil up with a childhood friend Ri-un and making Skylar critical of his friends. I thought his approach was harsh but I get the feeling of wanting someone to yourself. Cirrus had a very fucked up home life, his mother passed his father cold and absent and always bringing random women to roleplay a step mother. It also led to Cirrus being SA’d by his teacher because of how much he wanted affection. The adults failed him. Candy his dog was the only trust worthy thing in his life. Cirrus saw Skylars brokeness and wanted to be with him.
The series was pretty tame with the sexual content but man the kiss scene between Skylar and Cirrus was HOTTT. These two are end game for me, two traumatised fucks.

The facial expressions in this series are so good! This is a reread for me so it’s nice to focus more on the art and the small details this time around…
Cirrus is such a little shit. Of course, he didn’t realize that he brought up traumatic feelings for Skylar… but Cirrus is just as traumatized. This is just the beginning…

The art is so pretty, I really like it. Sometimes, though, I'm like damn these look like the dudes in Death Note. In any case, this is going somewhere for sure and maybe doing something interesting with trauma. What I really like is that it seems that Cirrus and Skylar can go toe to toe against each other, and the dynamics with their familiars are interesting and not what I'm used to.

So far the questions I have are piling up. Which is a good thing it means I’m interested but I it just seems like it’s taking too long to get to where I want it to be. This I think is a me problem but because it’s not where I want it to be several times I got bored and put the book down even if it was just to scroll online. This story has the foundation for greatness I see all of the pieces of the puzzle. I just want it to hurry up.

I know i didn't like the first book but the main villian seems like he is reforming. I like seeing the character change and growth. This is the second book that I seem to be liking more as I get into the series. I can't wait for the next part.
